I haven't heard of any formal rules like that being implemented, but getting access to anything more powerful than basic firearms would probably require meeting with a black market arms dealer, smuggler, or someone else like that. Or having a good reputation with one of the factions who could give you access to that stuff, like the Waterfront Gang or the Black Hooves.

I'm going to assume that's a "no" since you/Posey would definitely remember finding it, but yes there has been a bone pit encountered previously in the game, filled nearly to the brim with the bones and skeletons of dozens of creatures, possibly even hundreds. It might still be around, assuming it hasn't been cleaned up by the authorities.

To be fair, everyone in this game has a bad habit of missing out on valuable loot and going after stuff that was never originally intended as loot. Like, there's a Belt of Strength that Silver missed out on, and instead he got the papers that turned into the house he's currently living in with his NPC household.

I think it would be pretty cool. I already do something like that with Silver where I try to avoid using articles (a, an, the) in his speech whenever I can. Sometimes one slips by, but I succeed more of the time. It's also a bit like how Dust is committed to rhyming 100% of the time.

Her background would be completely different if she were a stallion. Posey was a sex slave to vampires as a filly, and that affected her outlook on life.
Not to mention that using her charms has been a survival method for her in the past, and she might've not gotten this far if not for that.

Gloomy has endured a torturous existence himself, being a subject of experimentation, but not so abusive much as Posey. He also wasn't bred from vampire stock like her.
Posey brought him along because he is the only thing in the world that she actually owns. He was the most expensive thing in her starting equipment (commoner slave 100 gp).

It's a setting where housing is scarce and guns are plentiful. DnD cost tables aren't reliable because they are for a pre-industrial civilization. Gun control does drive up black market prices.

True. My thought process is that at higher levels enemies will more often be elite troops with magic weapons. These will need to be a plausible threat.

Silver and Blue Skies got high off confiscated changeling honey, which is implied to be extremely illegal (level 4). Even hard drugs like methamphetamine would be only level 3 (military) because of their usage. The restriction access level system is handy to show what needs more money or better connections to obtain.

I could unironically see being in the land of Friendship and Harmony having a positive impact on Posey and Gloomy's life, especially if through the party's efforts they manage to help Harmony make a return.
