Isn't Dark Star a 5-level ranger? How does he use his ranger spells without a horn? Do ranger spells work like bard spells and can be cast by any character of the appropriate level?

This isn't a /bantz/ thread. This is a DnD game that just happens to be on an imageboard. When joining a game there are basic expectations of respect that players are owed, because they are giving their own free time to be here and they pick up their ball and leave if it ever gets unfun.
These expectations include both OOC behavior and IC behavior. OOC behavior is the sort of behavior you would use around people in a DnD game irl. You don't have to be informal and cordial like you would your coworkers but unless if you know them well you would show restraint on banter and teasing, and you haven't done that. If OOC someone has a mental illness or phobia and asks to not be exposed to "triggers," you should not break that trust to provoke a reaction. IC behavior includes stuff like instigating PvP, sexually assaulting other characters or interrupting/touching a character in any way that doesn't help the party within combat. These things might be allowed but only if both players agree, and flouting those rules is also very bad. You have also broken those expectations.
This clearly isn't your first rodeo because you know a lot about the game, mechanically. I can't say whether or not you got kicked out of previous games for this sort of behavior but either way you should know better, and should have stopped at the first OOC "stop." The campaign isn't your personal playground like a singleplayer game where you can toy with the characters endlessly. Go play Baldur's Gate or something if you want that. I've tried being charitable with my view on you, and in the past I personally asked the GM to give you some leeway, but you are making it very hard for me.

Can we just like, all collectively drop this? Maybe for like, a day? Two? Maybe 30,000? Never bring it up again? Just have Brie and Posey ignore each other for the rest of time? Maybe have Dust disappear? Just a thought.
I know Brie's player is annoyed with how every time I chime in on a situation it's either "Brie's wrong" or "you're both wrong", but I'm trying to help you with what you've said in Test about wanting to do and be better, especially with regards to other people. Yes, Posey's player should have stopped earlier, but the way you were reacting was definitely not helping the situation. It felt antagonistic every time you told him to stop, even from the get go, and that antagonism just made him do it more and more and more. Again, he still should have stopped before it got to this point, but had you been a tad more diplomatic in your requests to stop, saying something like:
"Hey, I don't mean to be rude but I'm really not having fun with this. Can we please stop?"
would likely have resulted in a much more positive response from Posey's player. Just something to keep in mind for the future, you know? Antagonizing someone, even when they're antagonizing you, isn't always the best option.

No it wouldn't have. First, Brie's player has some behavioral issues that I don't want to get into, but which hurts his ability to respond with clear logic. We saw that with the sheep joke. These issues pose a problem at times but he has been working on getting them to a manageable state. Posey's player is very much aware of these issues and has singled him out like he is a middle school bully and an autistic kid just showed up. Why do you think Posey has always been teasing Brie specifically and not Cavaliere or Silver she molested Dust a couple of times but not that much in comparison.
Second, we all were telling Posey's player to cut it out, first as a gentle suggestion and then more firmly. He kept on with the joke for far too long until Brie's player bluffed a threat about "doxxing" and then focused on that as a further avenue to manipulate Brie and the other players.
Finally, look at Posey's excuse of "I've been overworked and frustrated lately" which has become a calling card of internet lolcows who got exposed for something bad. It's all about "me, me me" in that post. "I've been overworked and frustrated" (don't think about the other players who are overworked and frustrated, especially the autistic guy who's had his fun ruined). "Idk why I even joined so many at once" (my problem is that I don't have a good schedule, not having a bad attitude). "I really need to think harder about how I want to spend my limited free time left on this realm..." (sympathy-baiting, and again no mention of fixing bad behavior). "I do want to try Baldur's Gate 3..." (When being told not to treat co-op sessions like a singleplayer game, mentions said singleplayer game but not the problem of treating other players like video game characters).
I don't care about Posey's character being powerful and being sourced from different sourcebooks. I don't care about Posey's in-game antics like throwing up blood or worshipping a random sheep. I don't even care about Posey messing with other characters, as long it's not to trigger a reaction. What I'm not okay with is this sort of solipsistic rage-baiting which intentionally derails the campaign, and then narcissistic not-apologies to try to manipulate us to think it's okay. If it's not nipped in the bud it will actually kill this game because nobody wants to deal with this crap.

Yeah. I actually agree with your kidding self. The sky should be blue. I had night-filter on at the time nad didn't want to turn it off as not to flash myself. However, if I had more forethought I would have realized that i could use the Oekaki color palette RGB number system to just pick on with 00X to get one with blue, or dark blue. Dark blue, to reprsentent a midnight sky with the moon in the background which was what the drawing was suppose to represent.

Okay, I really, really, really, really didn’t want to resort to this, but I’ve exhausted all other options short of kicking players. Neither of you will stop when I tell you to stop. Henceforth, moderator action will be used to stop flame wars, thread derailment, and general unwarranted negativity.
No more back and forth spamming of posts that distract from the whole action of the thread. No more “cryptic nonsense,” no more clearly insulting posts, no more harassment. I’m done with it, and it will all be removed from the thread. This is the only option that I feel is at all fair to me and the other five players not involved in the drama. I’m ending this. The quest is themed around communism after all, so if going full Stalin is the only way forward, it will be the way forward.

If you have a problem with a player or me, please make a single direct and to the point post in OOC that gets to the point. One post. Not three posts. Posts numbers two and three will be deleted with no warning nor explanation. Posts about it in the gaming thread will be deleted without explanation. If you think of something that you wished to put in the first post, what you should do instead is to abstain from clicking “new reply” for a minute, and then post what you wanted to say. I am not going to play 20 questions to figure out what Posey did this time. I am not going to lecture you on why we, a bunch of distracted men who are on the autism spectrum, do not understand your subtlety, do not understand the context of what is going on, and do not know what is on your mind. I’m not doing that. You either say what the problem is, or I will shut you up and continue with the game. I am ending the rollercoaster. I am ending the negativity. You can play the pony dating sim, or you can not. You of course have pretty much everyone’s discord DMs, including mine.
If you do not believe that the results of a spot check or other action have been acknowledged, please simply draw attention to the post, which has surely since been buried. I understand that much of your character’s actions are dependent on precise positioning, but we are not playing in person with miniatures and I’m not going to stop combat to force everyone to move figures on a digital map, at least not right now. If you want to bitch about a map, bitch to yourself, because I’m not suffering it. Ask questions about your character’s position.
I am shocked that any of the following needs to be said, but evidently I have to say it:
No threats of any kind will be tolerated and obviously will be deleted immediately. This includes an out of character threat to kill another player character, but obviously also threats of doxxing. Any actual attempt at doxxing will be met with immediate post deletion and a ban from the game and from the website. We’re not showing off discord handles here. This is my game, my game is anonymous. I don’t care if you can name people. We will not be doing that here.
I don’t care if you have longstanding personal grievances with whomever or long histories with people. The only digging up of ancient tombs, or unlocking of ancient evils that will be taking place here is what happens in character in game.
I don’t care about X, we are moving on and playing the game. All off topic negativity will be deleted, the end.

If you intended to quit the game because you didn’t like that another player had called you out on your harassment of another player, then you picked the absolute most inglorious hill to die on, and the horrific anti-apology you left out on makes you look worse than even the objectively far more problematic Brie, who actually felt bad and apologized. All you had to do was stop when Brie, and then later me, then Dust, and then Garv told you to stop.
Yes, Brie’s player has mental health problems that express themselves in especially annoying ways. I know this. You know this. Every player here knows this. Hell, even Brie’s player knows this. That doesn’t give you license to bully him until he spergs and derails the whole game for the night, and to do this every other night.
If you wish to continue, know this:
You have lost any kind of benefit of a doubt concerning “banter” with Brie. Any kind of “boop to find white nose disease,” “did you know that bat ponies have aids,” and especially “rolling to bite Brie’s cock off” will be deleted instantly, just as surely as Brie’s inevitable 20+ post rage about it that is going to follow. If targeting a mentally ill person to provoke them into sperging is your only idea of fun, then go to whatever games or discord servers have yet to kick you out, and do it there. Or better yet, go find a homeless person in real life to go poke. I hope he punches you, and you finally feel some real consequences to your actions. You’ve been kicked out of games before for your shitty behavior, and you are not welcome here if you think you’re entitled to do that.

Oh, no, I wasn't doing that. Sorry if I wasn't clear. I just had relatives over this week, and decided to take a break from the game. I didn't see any posts about the journals, and people complained about me "relentlessly advancing the plot", so I figured I should just wait for other players or GM to advance it instead.

I didn't see any posts about the journals, and people complained about me "relentlessly advancing the plot", so I figured I should just wait for other players or GM to advance it instead.
