>>185476>better underfootThats been the problem the whole time. Unaddressed shit, and pretending to be nice and all so all could keep playing. Would that it could have, but Posey picked the wrong nigger. Here we are
>>185427>>185429Are you saying you want this in the game?
>>185432Based
>>185434This last weekend was only ever likely to have one encounter. I had one planned, and then from that point would look and see to what the Players did or chose to do. There were/are after battle actions that require downtime, and that would have prevented a second encounter.
Scheduling issues are and have been a consistent issue. Every time it looks like we have everyone together, oh no, Garv is out. Or Dust is out. Or floof is out. Or Posey is out. Or you are out. This is besides me having family matters and a job. It's not uncommon for us to not be able to play because of scheduling issues.
Also, three out of five players in the Mended Horn group were/are physically ill over the weekend. That's not a small matter.
To be honest, I don't think you managed your time perfectly either. On Friday, you were the one who called it early. On Saturday, while I think the hold up was that we were waiting on floof, you had like six hours to declare an action on the surprise round and I never got a clear and firm answer. And then on Sunday, I don't know if we've ever had a full encounter on a Sunday. I go to church, go to eat with my parents for lunch, and do other things. I had to work today and most people here either had to work today or were too sick to work today. So very little happened on Sunday. Yes, Posey's player offended me on Sunday, and because of it I stepped away and played Stellaris while watching Dragon Age: Veilguard hate reviews, and the same thing on Thursday.
But could you like... Not make 50 posts talking about how much you hate Posey? Can we leave the drama behind, step away for however long, and get on with things?
>>185476I already have made a list and told him. Last I checked, I never came out and told you guys this until you all are deciding to team up against the one guy that is trying to tell you, and you are pretending he is insane for stating the obvious.
>talking for someone else>don't muddyThen don't further fling mud by pretending you are not getting involved by directly getting involved here. For fuck sake, you are not being neutral by saying one person is directly wrong and to shut up about it.
>What you are doing is personally affecting me tooHow is me saying you are heading towards a cliff affect you? Do you want the joy of experiencing that freefall without the foreknowledge? I really hate that you have clearly deluded yourself by thinking anyone that points out a problem is your enemy in this.
>don't expect me to be sympatheticI didn't because I can tell you have none from how you are handling this. Neither do I want whatever brand of sympathy you have to offer if this is how you behave.
>I must be Brie with a VPNClearly when I am faced with information that disagrees with me, I must be facing the one person I already have written off. How about you ask someone on staff to confirm I am not Brie because of my post history. Lotus can directly back that up, or Elway if you want someone completely non-biased.
>>185478>I dont think u managed your time effectivelyNo shit. I waited to be available for a game that pops off at random. It seemed about to.pop off any moment. Maybe if a greater degree of limitation were placed on other players trying to nudge their characters forward, such that players who try to wait patiently get neglected and discarded, ask Stix, can NOT feel neglected and discarded,....
>>185482No srsly, I was up 29 hours Sunday, trying to be ready for the game, before it got fucked by an asshole
>>185478Maybe. Stallions are nice.
wakes up
You guys are still arguing? What is this even all about? I thought the game was going well.
Or Idk, a collaborative schedule
Madness
I unironically don't have the energy to participate in this argument. Sorry.
Back to bed.
>>185487I can't blame ya. Get well soon!
>>185479>I already have made a list and told him. Last I checked, I never came out and told you guys this until you all are deciding to team up against the one guy that is trying to tell you, and you are pretending he is insane for stating the obvious.I like this response: "But could you like... >Then don't further fling mud by pretending you are not getting involved by directly getting involved here. >How is me saying you are heading towards a cliff affect you?You are really doubling down on this. First of all, I trust the GM to have a handle on it. Clearly you do not, because you expect us all to suddenly yell at him to kick Posey from the game and accept nothing less. I find your behavior unhinged and founded upon personal grudges which makes me less inclined to believe anything you say. Maybe I
should backread all the Mixed Nuts threads to unentangle years-old personal beef, but is it really worth my time to do that? I would much rather make character sheets for when my characters level up, or roleplay as one of my two characters in the game. I don't like it when anypony keeps me from doing that.
>Clearly when I am faced with information that disagrees with me, I must be facing the one person I already have written off.I just find it odd that some lurker who played the same game you did years ago would show up at the moment you're writing these posts.
>>185483Mental illness and insomnia don't go well together, as you're well aware.
>>185487That's the smartest thing any of us has done all day.
>>185490Maybe you need some convincing then.
>>185493Okay, fuck off with trying to pull out the mod card.
>>185494Its not about the mod card, its about "quit pretending he doesnt know what hes talking about"
>>185494Apparently you all need it. Can't have a single conversation without being called a samefag.
>>185497No, you being a mod has no bearing on the goddamn conversation, it's you just trying to intimidate him into submission. If you want to avoid being samefagged, use the handy name field just a little bit above the message box.
>>185498You are right. It doesn't have to do with it. I did something that Brie can't do to prove I am not the same person. Anyone can use two different names and still be a samefag. I just blew the allegations out of the water before they got worse.
>>185499Knock it off with the mod shit and just type in the name field. I
know who you are, no one would confuse you for being Brie's player.
>>185500Huh, I recall someone saying "Who's Stix" a couple months ago, when Inwas first getting into it with Posey.
>>185498>>185498>U being a mod doesnt matterYoure right! Being a WITNESS does
>>185500Clearly, he didn't. He wanted to discredit me to at least himself if not others reading the thread, thinking that no one else knew either.
Like I already said, I have made these things clear to the GM. He is free to do or not do whatever. However, I am free to all you all retards for ganging up on someone that is in the right, despite coming across as rude to you. Posey has ruined the games I have been in before and if that offends you, sorry. I would have stayed quiet, but it is maddening to see all of you unite behind the wrong person in this fight, because it will not end well for the game and it will do everything you are accusing Brie of doing, kicking someone from the game because of a disagreement.
>>185499>>185502I don't blame you for doing that. However this is an OOC thread for a DnD game, not a courtroom. Backing up a player's allegations against another player for something that happened years ago is helpful if it were a private conversation with the GM. It's not, it's public airing of grudges to accuse a player of "sabotaging" an ongoing game. Could we just not do that?
>>185502Every post you make under your mod tag in this argument discredits not only yourself but the entire mod team.
>>185503I want to, but every time Im assured/agreed the matter is resolved, something new appears. Again, not saying its the case, but its ALMOST like a person has used up their tricks and is trying at new things. It fits with the prevailing pattern
>>185503I already said that I am just annoyed that you are all uniting against Brie when there is evidence that you should either sit out dogpiling him or at least hear what he had to say.
What is this argument even about?
>>185508I explained it here in
>>185377 before it got buried by the constant posts.
>>185510Buried by the unresolved insistance that this isnt okay, never has been, and why still?
>>185507see
>>185476>My argument (and presumably Silver's player's) has never been "stick your head in the sand" but instead "don't muddy up our game with public accusations and attacks."You might be completely right on everything you say about Posey, past and present. GM Pone has put his hoof down on that he doesn't want this game to be filled with drama and fighting, and (presumably) instead you should just give him all this information in private. I happen to agree with him on that. Would my inner gossipmonger enjoy reading all the juicy details that some internet autists have on each other? Sure, I guess. But I'd rather have one place on this website where I don't have to worry about politics or drama and where I can just play tabletop with cute ponies.
tl;dr if you're worried about a player or another ruining the game then tell GM Pone about it, if you're right and he does nothing then that's on him but otherwise just play the game
>>185508I think Brie thinks that scheduling issues are you fault
>>185507The moderator tag feels oddly coercive in a way I can't quite place or articulate. Perhaps post anonymously? We know who you are.
>>185506Okay, but could we maybe not handle this with 50+ posts while almost everyone else is sick, asleep, or working?
Guys, my head is swimming, I can't handle reading all this rn.
Spell it out to me: did I say/do something wrong?
>>185513The moderator tag was to eliminate the attemt to disregard his position, thats obvious
>maybe mot 50 postsOkay. Maybe not 59 posts from others. I tried to be patient. I tried to be a "good player" and let them do their thing. And I ended with a thumb in my ass. I dont like ending with a thumb in my ass, and Im sure as shit not gonna let it continue.
>>185512I completely disagree that this is juicy gossip. This is a pattern that is being ignored to prop up the idea that Posey isn't doing anything worth complaining about.
>>185513I already explained why I did it. If you don't agree, you don't have to worry. I won't be returning anyway. I just wanted the endless dogpiling to stop when it is not productive.
>>185514At first yes. GM pone was upset when you agreed with the mission being shortened (though he seems to be doing better, at least on the outside), didn't want to continue after that, and Brie's player is mad that he stayed up to play and nothing came of it.
Something tells me you don't actually want the mission shortened, you just want to be able to level up and get money for a cool necromancer level.
>>185515I am skeptical that this is a deliberate effort by Posey or anyone to fuck you or whomever over. This is just a fairly normal scheduling issue. See my post in
>>185478 >>185517>Im outI hope you dont mean that. Im not giving up
>>185518No no, Brie is mad that he posted extensively about insomnia, recording his awake hours for autists (including Posey) who will pretend to be unaware of - including the EXPLICIT post - watch, Im gonna pass out again cuz this is dragging on again - before I got some e energy drinks and stayed up until 4am fuming cuz this nigger couldnt say "Thanks Gnight"
>>185521Yes, your skepticism is warranted, and I wont waste yiur time.
But, disclosing now, this nigger WILL try EVERY fucking button/angle ubder the sun. He don't care you are is his PLAYTHING.
Or, thats how he comes across
>>185514Your post last night
>>185320 obviously disappointed the GM Pone and discouraged him from participating the rest of the night, but as far as I can gather the accusation is that you deliberately worded it to ruin the game for him. This is singled out among a number of posts by other players expressing some measure of dissatisfaction, and is one of two posts quoted directly by the GM Pone when he was evidently upset.
>>185517>dogpilingFair enough. I just can't help but see Brie's posts as stirring the pot.
>>185522I was considering telling you at the time to not drink the energy posts and I should have. Saying goodnight is something most of us neglect anyway, and there have been multiple times where I played late into the night and stayed up an extra half hour awaiting another post from the GM.
>>18552430 hours. 30 hours. I woke up, got a nat 20, was told "okay but gimme a sec" and this nigger fucked me the entire next day.
You cant claim its an accident when its a consostent pattern for years.
>>185518I don't care if the mission is shortened or not. Killing things is fun. Getting paid is fun. I just want to advance my character and the story.
I saw someone, I think it was GM, suggest shortening it, so I said I was fine with it if it happened. PbP sometimes get streamlined for scheduling reasons; no harm in that if it's necessary. I'm pretty sure we only have a more encounters left in the XP budget for this adventuring day anyway though, so we might as well just do it all. Either is fine for me. Squash some xenos. I could do it all day.
>>185521I am sick. I passed out last night. I slept most of today. As soon as I am better, I am going to have to do overtime every single day this week.
You can go ahead and play without me if you wish. Posey can't even talk to the NPCs, so she's basically just an attack turret for combat.
I don't even care if she's severely wounded, but I would prefer it if she doesn't die.
>>185528Exactly what I thought, it was all a matter of misunderstandings and communication failures. Again, I hope you get better soon, Posey! Same goes for everyone else who's sick right now.
>>185530They just aren't. Why would TF go to all of this trouble to come back and anonymously play a D&D campaign they've already explained multiple times they do not like, with two people they
absolutely do not like?
>>185525Anypony would be cranky in those circumstances. I can see why you would blame Posey but you could blame Floofernoodle just as much for what happened.
>>185528I don't think you picked up on it, but it was a rhetorical question along the lines of "I worked hard on this mission, the encounters, and the setting, do you really want me to rush through it?" and your response was "Yes." It doesn't surprise me that you responded with such since you are focused on different aspects of the campaign, but that answer still took the wind out of his sails because it felt like his hard work was unappreciated.
