"My fellow citizens of this truly great city,
A few days ago, we were attacked by hordes of the undead. Their numbers were legion. They were led by Bolshevik senators who sought to live forever through evil means, and they tried to attack Port Barry through the weak points in its gates, through its harbor and sewer system, and through an oversight in the cities spiritual defenses -
a structure in the commercial district. The dead are envious of the living and of the life this great city, and sought to smother it out, and to enslave it for their own ends.
But Port Barry Fought back. Our brave Generals, inspired by the power of Football, kept citizens safe in the stadium, and destroyed hordes at the gate. Our Ghestapo cleared the sewers. Even initiates from Sparentinar – inspired by the call of Football and eager to take up its ways, fought to protect this great city. The monks of the Fight Club – led and trained by our own Thez Preston – in particular fought nobly, holding the line against the monstrosities that came through the planes. Many of those defending gave everything to repulse the hordes - mind, body, and soul. But they died so that their fellow countrymen could live on. For so long as the country lives and prospers, the patriot can never truly die.
One such Patriot, who lives on the prosperity he helped bring to this great city, was our late mayor, Sechs Verseiben, who I had the privilege of meeting and speaking to as he assumed office. His tenure, though a short one, was nevertheless a period of great growth, expansion, liberty, wealth, and order for Port Barry. He lived and died in the service of this city.
The enemy quickly found that we would not quietly surrender nor fade away. Three leaders and countless minions were struck down. I myself smote Ruth Bader Ginsberg from atop her cloud of judicial obfuscation with the powers Great Elway gave to me. The enemy sought to summon an entire temple, to unleash its contents onto the city. But with quick thinking we left them immobilized, and turned the fight to them.
Yet they were not alone in seeking to blindly harm this great city. Unknown rich parties, lulled into a stupor by alcohol and their own arrogance and complacency, bombarded the city. They were quickly and firmly taught to respect the citizenry.
The temple was there after breached, and the enemy made to fear and flee. I have struck down mummy lords and dread wraiths in my crusade to protect Port Barry, and much more work remains before we bring this fight to the former seat of Kefka himself. But we shall, and a new age of glory and security shall dawn on Port Barry, and we’ll find the future brighter than ever.
Elway Bless Port Barry, and thank you all”
