This thread begins with Thez completing a marvelous and unplanned concert now that she can cast "Dancing lights!" again, and a large crowd has formed around the square, where both Infernius and Trump appear to be intending to address the crowd, Thez having vacated the impromptu stage with several bouquets of flowers and adoring cheers from the crowd.

I don't want players to be sorry, it was poorly implemented on my part. What I do advise and request is that more attention be paid to the character's disposition, and less attention be to their faggot's. Yes, the faggot determines what the character does, but the character is the one who can die or experience consequences. I mean I could have had Thez maintain a vigil over the temple, as though it was something that could blow up at any time, or could possess numerous high-level spellcasters, but that would have been railroading.

So to summarize (though little has actually happened, but now the characters realize they're not as cushy as they may have thought):
Kefka is alive somehow. Consequently, the Spartan contingent desires to relay with command. The gnomes (good call) can be inquired about the airship, Cardishore is back on the table so to speak, and there are a variety of other cities and nation-states that are now within reach (cuz airship).

You don't necessarily have to completely kill something to get XP from it. You can gain experience from removing the threat of an encounter, if you role-play it well enough.
Look on the bright side, we'll get to fight them both again at full or even heightened strength, so you'll have a chance to earn that XP seriously.
