Can the party avoid tearing each-other's throat out? Can they successfully complete the dungeon and rid Port Barry of the giant glass octahedron that sits motionless a short way off the docks? Will GM have an aneurysm from it all?
Welcome back to the Nuts RP thread, where new faggots (players) are always welcome and previous faggots interact based increasingly loosely on D&D 3.5e core rules.
This thread begins with Thez completing a marvelous and unplanned concert now that she can cast "Dancing lights!" again, and a large crowd has formed around the square, where both Infernius and Trump appear to be intending to address the crowd, Thez having vacated the impromptu stage with several bouquets of flowers and adoring cheers from the crowd.

>>52876This. Although I think the "not treating it as a threat" could have been solved very easily by having a group of wraiths or some other monsters drift out and perma-drain Tracy while she was "training" would have been a simple enough solution
Also, you can expect that the next adversity will not be one that can be put on the backburner
>>52879B-but would h-he get revived?
>>52882NO. He would NOT have. You're welcome.
>>52883Tbh I would have probally quit for like a week if Snek died
>>52884Loot doesn't come bac to life, m8.
Know this: although your character can come back to life in the Entertron, your equipment cannot: so keep it out of danger.
*polishes shoes*
*stares at mushroom cloud*
".... So.. What next?"
>>52885>locks Snek in a glassteel vault and never lets him out so he's safe>now I can't use him and he's sadThis sucks
>>52886"I've got some gnome friends we could visit. They could probally tell us the history of the airship, and we could find those fuckers."
Well I have a legal seminar class now. Can we have a set group of hours when activity is not going on, and massive plot elements don't literally explode during lecture?
>>52890You lose XP if he dies too, so keep him safe.
"I have some unfinished business with the faggots who run the dome up North..."
>>52891The building exploded as a precedent. Other than that, nothing significant is going on.
As for the "General hours" bit, I would like that too. In particular, I'm contemplating a prohibition on ridiculously-exhaustive sex scenes during critical hours (namely, weekends)
I actually am very sorry for not taking your dungeon serious GM.>>52891I guess whatever times your lectures are, but I won't completely stop shitposting.
>>52894>>52896I knew there was something off about it.
>>52894>>52896I don't want players to be sorry, it was poorly implemented on my part. What I do advise and request is that more attention be paid to the character's disposition, and less attention be to their faggot's. Yes, the faggot determines what the character does, but the character is the one who can die or experience consequences. I mean I could have had Thez maintain a vigil over the temple, as though it was something that could blow up at any time, or could possess numerous high-level spellcasters, but that would have been railroading.
>>52898I suggest adding some railroading and mix it with the sandbox.
>>52898>more attention be paid to the character's disposition, and less attention be to their faggot'sI can agree with that.
It's been getting pretty gay in recent weeks, with all of the out-of-character metafaggotry..
>>52899>railroadingThat reminds me, I forgot a critical element of the building exploding. Yes, there was the whisper of "This is not over," but there was also a tell-tale and familiar cackle of a malicious jester whom the party currently possesses the (a?) head of.
Yeah. I've been waiting to reveal that shit for months now.
>>52903Oh shit..!
I was wondering when keeping his corpse was gonna' bite me in the ass..*checks closet and sifts through skeletons to see if he's still there*
>>52904And there aren't a dozen or more spells that enable a particularly proficient spellcaster to perpetuate themselves with,... Trump even admitted being disappointed that he didn't have any equipment on him,...
almost as though he didn't see the results of that encounter as consequential. >>52907Tracy breaths a sigh of relief, having confirmed that her favorite corpse is still intact.
For the record, I had thought that this would have been revealed in the Banquet Nuts thread (hence the OP image)
>>52909>Banquet NutsJee, that was like 20 nuts ago.
>>52911>is a mageBut yes, mages are generally pussies that are always trying to cheat death in one way or another
>*Death-chan kisses Torcuil on the cheek* >>52910Yeah, I know. I thought it was going to be revealed then, and then again during court city, and again with the temple.
So to summarize (though little has
actually happened, but now the characters realize they're not as cushy as they may have thought):
Kefka is alive somehow. Consequently, the Spartan contingent desires to relay with command. The gnomes (good call) can be inquired about the airship, Cardishore is back on the table so to speak, and there are a variety of other cities and nation-states that are now within reach (cuz airship).
>>52912Im not a mage, im a cleric.
>>52913I was expecting it, but didn't know when it would happen.
>>52911Pretty sure a lot of gods can resurrect after time so long as they still have worshipers, or certain aspects of their portfolio remain as part of the universe.
>>52915Actually, I'm glad those necromancers didn't get their hands on any part of Kefka's body. That could've been uber-spooky apocalypse-tier..
*hides precious body-parts*
>>52916If Kefka's powers were rooted deeply enough in this world, he might be good as immortal.
We still don't know just how power he is as a mage or a deity.
[1d20+5 = 8]
Local Knowledge check, to learn wtf even is Cardishore.
>>52916Theomachia is on my list of stuff I wanna do on this campaign. Glad to have a second chance to kill him at full strength.
>>52921On the contrary, the Xp was for the Terrasque, which is alive again also, but the "defeat" threshold was achieved
>>52922>>52923Feels like i didnt earn it.
>>52920>>52912It's not a god. Just a mage. A Mage like few others, to be sure, but the difference matters
>>52921You don't necessarily have to completely kill something to get XP from it. You can gain experience from removing the threat of an encounter, if you role-play it well enough.
Look on the bright side, we'll get to fight them both again at full or even heightened strength, so you'll have a chance to earn that XP seriously.
>>52925>*slight disappointment* >>52926"Tracy you hear that laugh?!?! It sound like kefka!"
