This thread is meant to debunk the deranged idea that our realm is a planet floating in space.
If the so called established science can't be challenged, then it's not science, but religion.
>>158101>lol globers amirite? To this point, no. 95% of the comments are vapid "I believe!" posts, often displaying a fundamental lack of comprehension of how evidence, physics, and the scientific method works. But as I indicated, there are occasional posts showing these theories fornthe hogwash they are.
>>158103>Ex-Flat EartherI really doubt it. Once redpilled there's not going back.
>SciManDanNothing else to add.
>>158105Wow, rejection without investigation. How very consistent of you. Its no wonder you can unironocally believe/tout this horseshit
>>158107>n.. no u!Lol, what else do you call this but ignorance (as in, ignoring)?
>I really doubt it. Once redpilled there's not going back.
>>158063I mean ffs, you wont even look at the photos. Because you know, those photos are impossible on a flat earth. I will reiterate, Im not saying the earth is a perfect sphere and Ive made that case earlier ITT. I agree, there are plenty of questions to be asked.
But these pics are impossible on a flat earth, which is why you wont look. Its a pity I cant A. repost the images, and B. delete the post (so I can repost the pics), since I know that even with Mlpol's way-better-than-4chan linked-post-view you wont even slick the link.
But just in case.

For those of you who come to this thread to argue with those who made it, you should really learn to sage.
>>158110Why, cuz its gonna slide off the board if done so? Have you seen the /vx/ catalog?
>>158111How new to chansites are you? You don't bump stuff if you don't want to see it, because that perpetuates it. This is the same behavior that ruined /pol/, because the /ptg/ newfags don't know how to avoid bumping shill threads.
>>158113Whoever said I didnt want people to see it? Sunlight is the best disinfectant anon.
If (you) dont want to see it, apply filters. Shill threads are going nowhere cuz policy. This is about conditioning.
>>158114No it fucking isn't. This is the internet, and anonymous to boot. Don't spread shitty memes.
>>158116>no it isntYoure entitled to your opinion, but this really doesnt pertain to the thread. Your objections have been noted and summarily dismissed as immaterial. Anything else?
>>158117Just stop bumping it if you don't like it.
>>158122Then just keep being a nigger I guess.
>>158123Can we get back to the topic now? Much as I appreciate the attention, its not pertinent to the thread.
>globers gonna globe
WOW! I left for a few hours and all these new posts.
Everything is perspective on flat earth.
>>158137Do they offer any proof or evidence to suggest this visualization, or is it pure speculation in an attempt to fit the theory? I mean, if flat earth were true as depicted, it could be confirmed by 5 people on a conference call, each operating cameras and surveying the sun.
Why hasnt that happened. It would be far easier than tbose hobby rockets and retardedly flawed laser experiments
>>158138*from separate continents
Also OP, would you be a dear and specify which version of the flat earth mind virus theory you orescribe to? Is it the firmament dome? Plasma disk moon and sun? Are they on the dome, or are they way behind the dome?
At what point do the observable laws pf physics cease to function, and/or what causes their appearance of function.
And the big question:
How long before a predictive model, in which the observable phenomena can be explained using a flat earth, that is cohesive with all the other observable phenomena?
>>158144Jesus Christ,....
>cherry-picked 10-sec clipIm sure the revised explanation was ommitted because you're so committed to science, right?
>We put a beakur under a glass shroud and tha water escaped! It doest appear to escape, it appears to diffuse throughout the glass chamber, in fact you can see the point it forms a 4th phasic seal
Oh you dont know what the 4th phase is?
Unsurprising. When water molecules reach a sufficiently excited state - such as when being pulled in one direction by gravity and pulled in the other by vaccuum, they change their configuration from H20 and reforms as H3O2.
H3O2 is orders of magnitude more dense per volume, and is part of the active process that constitutes the Ozone layer that makes a pressurized atmosphere possible, however the water would need to remain in a constantly excited state. Like, if it was at the border of an atmosphere and a vaccuum.
<back to our exampleAtmospheric pressure is what enables gravity to operate as a force. Thats why outside the atmosphere (you could liken the atmosphere as an 'event horizon', though not an onerous one as is proposed borders a black hole) is a vaccuum.
>Sea level pressure- 1013.25>Space pressure- .0000000000000000133Golly, its almost like the greater dual-force applied on the molecular structure of h3o2 causes a magnification to the structural density of the water due to magnified excitation.
>The water escaped the beaker!Uh huh, its a vaccuum. Thats what vaccuums do, they distribute molecular material throughout the space until reaching molecular equilibrium. Try adding enough water to the point that the water vapor saturates and starts to condense (read: try FILLING the beaker).
The rest is a series of fallacious conclusions based on the initial fallacious claim.
Still waiting for you to rationalize those boat pics!
>>158145Correction, the last few minutes actually argues my point funny enough. Thanks for that.
>>158145>bringing forward rare molecules to obfuscate>all based on the mythical gravityAnd yet, gas masses and fictitious space vacuum cannot co-exist, it is an Impossibility.
>>158149>textbook blind faithGravity cannot be proven to exist. It is a theory, not a fact.
>>158152That is a true statement only in subjective perception.
(read: belief =/= truth)
Ill rephrase. Your conviction to flat earth speculation does not make it true, nor does it invalidate the testable, conclusive evidence that such speculation is false.
But of course you can plug you ears and 'la la la' all you want, Ive got plenty more evidince to produce for every laughable insinuated and poorly controlled experiment/video you produce.
>>158155Whoa there, those are some awfully mainstream science sources. You said theyre all a bunch of masons, in on the deception! I guess they arent when it helps your argument?

>>158156>general relativity>Eistein pseudo scienceLet's go to the root of relativity and derived branches of "theoretical physics", it is nothing more than stunts with numbers that can't be demonstrated in a lab. It is also called charlatanry.

>>158157Gravity only has the 'title' of theiry becausr they havent yet composed a model that accounts for gravity in quantum-physocal framework. Beyond that there are precise and thoroughly vetted (read: no one can disprove in spite of trying to make a name for themselves by disproving) their models.
Which brings me to the most glaring issue witb flat earthers.
Ego. Everyone wants to be 'the guy' or 'group' that has special knowledge and gets the crediy (or assumes the credit by identifying with the group) unique and better understanding. The problem is, it takes more than watching youtube videos to reach that point even if that was even possible in context.
Any day now, a pr3dictive model would be good. While I wait, address the boats.
>Beyond that, there are precise and thoroughly vetted mathematical models that conform to observed experimental phenomena. Meaning, the data matches the hypothesis, except when getting into quantum physics
Apologies, thats what I meant to say. I get all excited grtting to continually beat a person who wants more. I imagine thats what happend with Tyson in the beginning of that video, and why the clarification was ommitted.
>>158159>Meaning, the data matches the hypothesis,I beg to disagree. The methodology used by these hacks is to create mathematical models, not data, to match the hypothesis.
>>158160Its literally the opposite, and thats literally what flatties do
>>158163Yes, its theoretical mathematics because it operates at an infinitesimal level that it cant be effectivrly measured with ones eyes. Its not like you can hold a ruler up to it.
And yet the same video that attempts to cstigate modern science by presenting previous credible - by the video's own admission - scientists [i]all of whom had directly cohesive solar and astronomical charts, only varying with the increased precision of the medium. Copernucus for example, determined the orbits of the planets, but he couldnt get it quite right becausr he thought that the orbit was a c8rcle rather than an oblate. Same goes for pre/post Newton, in determining the shape of the planet.
You cant say its all bullshit, and then cite past scientists with contemporary ones, claiming the previous ones were doing it right. Thats a logical fallacy.
Either 1. The earth is flat and its all wrong OR
2. The earth is not flat, and there are elements to the equation that we cant yet account for, given the limited capacity of humans and the amount of time its taken to get as precise as it is.
>oblate
Elipse*
Okay fine, Ill sage my addendums and corrections. Im not unreasonable XP
>>158164>Yes, its theoretical mathematics because it operates at an infinitesimal level that it cant be effectivrly measured with ones eyes. Its not like you can hold a ruler up to it.Isn't an overused example is the "Double Slit" experiment, where they keep having the results change every time the experiment is performed, prompting the logical conclusion that more tests need to be performed in under to understand it's intricacies.
And, retards foam at the mouth as an example of how "Quantum Physics is MAGIC".
>>158171Are you seriously trying to imply theres no validity to the double slit experiment?
>>158164>You cant say its all bullshit, and then cite past scientists with contemporary ones, claiming the previous ones were doing it right. You can in your particular case because, while Copernucus and Newton were raving about their flowed understanding of the universe, there was the Greek Antikythera device from 150 BC that was rotting at the bottom of the Aegean sea that perfectly calculates the movement of the planets, the sun, and the stars down to a T.
>>158172No, I was implying that the double slit experiment is an example of where more data is require to understand the phenominon, but that doesn't stop your average idiot from trying to use it as am example of how science is "magic".
>>158173So glad you mentioned it
>ancient greek device that accurately charts the planets n stars n shitAlmost like theyre in orbit around the planet that isnt flat, without negating the possibikity of orbits and shit
>THEY were precise tho, and we arent todayI of all people will not contest that ancient cultures were more advanced than modern day, thats one of the salient points of the History is a Lie thread. That you dont realize how that supports my argument is baffling.
>>158174>magicWow strawman
Expectations of the observer that has an observable effect on the experiment, are you denying that?
>>158175Wait, who are you arguing with?
>>158176Im arguing with the assertion that theres a firmament dome on a flat earth and that space is a fabrication, when there exost anc8ent devices by which that can be proven false.
