>>173260>pic 3>why is NASA lying to you? This is actually a pretty good question. Even if the earth actually were flat and the entire body of science dealing with the subject were just an elaborate ruse…why? What would be the purpose of going to that much trouble to con everyone into thinking the world is a different shape than it is?
>>173262What the actual fuck are you talking about, you absolute lunatic?
>>173264>>173260I do believe that NASA has been lying, or at least it did during the cold war, but not about stupid things like the shape of the earth or the existence of space. The real lies were that all of the research dedicated to space exploration was also a front for ICBM development (a lot of rockets used by NASA are indeed made for ICBMs) and the orbital satellite systems that were necessary for military communications and mass surveillance and global telecommunications. The actual space race was never about exploring the cosmos, but about militarizing space before the Soviets could. NASA has made scientific innovations for cutting edge military weaponry, and has done so with support of the public because people are much more in favor of scientific endeavors that help us understand the universe than they are about building continent-wrecking nukes and satellites that can track their every move.
That being said, among all of the overpriced gay bullshit the government does, NASA is just a tiny drop in the bucket, and it's one of the things I like a bit more.
>>173266Not an answer. If you honestly believe the earth is flat and the government/NASA/freemasons/lizard people/whoever are lying to us, I want to know what you believe the purpose of such a ridiculously complicated and expensive undertaking could possibly be. If you can’t or won’t answer, then you are full of shit, retarded, and this entire thread is fake and gay.
>>173267Thank you, this at least is plausible. I also suspect the space program is largely a military project.

>>173271>positionThat's the wrong subject.
This thread is about the lack of curvature of this realm and you faggots want to derail it over and over again by taking it to the personal terrain. Stick to the facts.
>its this difficult to show observation of curvature and tangible measurememt for the 3959 mile radius
I guess that concludes it. Im still curious about the motive to blindly trust NASA even though you also agree they lie all the time
>>173272You claim there is a conspiracy. People are skeptical of such a conspiracy that would require so much trouble without a motive. What is the motive that you propose.
So far you have claimed:
>All space research agencies are fake>Some third of international flights are fake/staged>Pilots of these flights are paid off, the thousands of passengers are paid actors>the cold war wasn't real and the space race was fake>the Antarctica is not a continent, but a 78,229 mile circumference ice wall, and that every mile of it is heavily guarded so much that nobody would even consider trying>All legal scientists/tourists that go to Antarctica are just fake actors>all the illegal fishermen/whalers that go there are also paid actors>all countries cooperate with this conspiracy, putting aside their differences to conceal the truth>all photos of the earth/space (tens of thousands taken each year) are fake CGI that even the best forensics software can't debunk>Flights over Antarctica are fake, and even if you go on one of these flights it's not really Antarctica>Antipodal flights are fake, and only done at all to conceal the truth>Starlink satellites that cost tens of millions of dollars and are as big as a school bus are actually just weather balloons, and Elon Musk has to replace them every few weeks as they fall out of the sky (something that would cost tens of billion of dollars every month).>Records of Medieval trebuchet calculations that took the curvature of the earth into effect are also fake (trivial fake history, just because?)All of this would require hundreds of trillions of dollars worth or resources to pull off, as well as time and effort that would eclipse all other priorities of the parties involved, as well as their total cooperation and precise communication. It's logistically implausible, and idk why anyone would try such a thing.
What is the motive for such an expensive and difficult conspiracy? Why would anyone go through all of that trouble? And if they have the power and resource to go through all of that trouble, why couldn't they get the same results through easier means?
People aren't going to believe you if you can't give them a motive.
To be honest I love people who question truth, people who doubt, it's important to be skeptic on evrerything and devend unconventional ideas, however from what I analyze from this post, and again I'm zero sociologist or psychologist, not even dropping a diagnosis but an interpretation or an attempt to understand how such reasoning is possible, but anyways, this is like observing a sample of >SOCIETY in a petri dish.
First to get what's going on, I assume It's important to say how postmodernist society have subtly but clearly influenced our cultural landscape, and individual thought processes for decades, through media, games, pop culture, music and more social activism that has been going on for a long time, and as we know, led to the growing idiocracy we have to deal with today. This obseessional behavior flat earthers have is a perfect example, and may you like it or not, I'm going to expose how you, Flat Earther, you are the byproduct of the zog you pretend to fight, by becoming literally, a wokeist faggot - I'll explain, if you have the courage to continue and dare bringing your counter argument.
In short, postmodernism, a philosophical movement that gained traction in the second part of the 20th century on the ashes of WW2, motivated by figures like Foucault, Vonnegut, Derrida, DeBeauvoir and fucking Sartre of course. They introduced a wave of skepticism towards grand narratives and objective truth, deconstruction, individualism and destruction of establismhent (to make room for a new one). Instead, this emphasized subjective perspectives and the idea that knowledge is shaped by cultural, historical, and social contexts, putting evidence and cartesian approach in the dumpster.
That shift in perspective is seen in every aspects of our society like a proliferation, if not industrial manufacturing of alternative viewpoints and skepticism towards established scientific principles, and various other things we thoguht that were common sense but are lost. Postmodernism, in its theory and in the early versions (Thanks to Heidegger's critics on modernity) could be summed up as ‘question authority and challenge the narratives’, which in some cases can lead to a sane debate of hardcoded beliefs, which I am the first to say it's necessary. On the other hoof, it also create a fertile ground for the emergence of absolute bullshit, and in a worse measure, the political usage of these absolute lies. We can see how far it went since the war in Iraq, about gender, about education, anticapitalism, climate alarmism, history revision blaming our civilization for all of the woes of mankind, emotion over logic and more lies that became laws.
<“We know that they are lying, they know that they are lying,
<they even know that we know they are lying, we also know that they know we know they are lying too,
<they of course know that we certainly know they know we know they are lying too as well, but they are still lying.
<In our country, the lie has become not just moral category, but the pillar industry of this country.”
<Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
Many points, postmodernism suggests that truth is relative and shaped by someone's own interpretations which can lead some individuals to prioritize personal beliefs over widely accepted scientific evidence, or reality itself, viewing their perspective as valid. And you now have hugboxes and online hordes to back up and team up these with “you are so valid!”.
With its deconstruction narrative it does encourages skepticism against traditional authority figures and institutions, mostly religion, traditions, culture but also scientific establishment, now everyone interpret this skepticism as license to dismiss mainstream scientific consensus, preferring alternative explanations that resonate with their worldview or the one they imagined, like flat earth, inner world, transgenderism, therianthropism, chakras, aliens, universe as a simulation, and people love it because it makes them feel smart, because everyone else is dumb. All that ironically distracts them from awful truths and that's the goal of these dumb conspiracies, because oh trust me, we all well know there are ongoing conspiracies that are silenced by these cretins, who will never be banned or erased for these.
By all means, this is clearly a liberal philosophy, and the leftists are now anchored in postmodernism, not mentioning the millennials and more who grew up, were raised in yet another generation of postmodern dialectic, in cinema, music, schools... This spirit of defiance for a made up individualism contribute to the acceptance of fringe theories that offer unique interpretations of reality, even if they are built on zero empirical evidence or logical consistency, and will defend their views claiming there is a conspiracy against them. Yes you start realizing climate activists and antifa are following the same doctrine.
Logic is grounded in principles of consistency, coherence, and empirical evidence. Flat Earth fans are easy to debunk. The overwhelming body of scientific evidence, including observations of Earth's curvature from space and the dynamics of celestial bodies, points towards a spherical Earth. The logical coherence of this evidence forms the basis of the scientific consensus.
But the same could be said of a lot of more institutional lies, for political gain such as climate alarmism, which is the same level, OXFAM people use the same rhetoric but the scientists who observe, analyze and conclude are silenced just as if they said the earth is round. And in case you don't know, there's no scientific consensus on climate change being linked to human activity, other than fallacies of causality being causation. You will never find a single paper that cites a single evidence it does than data. Because even if they know it's false, pushing the lies so hard will make people convinced they are on the right side of History, and yes, this is terrifying.

>>173273>Im still curious about the motive to blindly trust NASA even though you also agree they lie all the timeNASA gives detailed explanations of what they do and answers the questions that they are asked. All their research is public domain and has thousands upon thousands of pages of details for me to scrutinize how their stuff works.
On the other side (You) do not explain things in detail, and you aggravatingly ignore or avoid relevant questions you are asked in the thread, which makes it impossible to have a fulfilling discussion with you.
Knowing that, why should I blindly trust (You)?
>>173274>conspiracy cant happen at this magnitudethis is an odd position to have, the safer more logical position would be to assume theres possibility, not impossibility. you can say the same thing about holocaust and holocaust museums. statesmen and the powers that be have been working on crafting lies over several hundred years, but ofc they cant Fool God and they will be found out inevitably. if trillions of inflated dollars can be printed out of nothing but usury and finance, then logistical efficiencies can be nullified
>>173276>NASA gives detailed explanationsok and who cares? NASA cant use consistent models, also occams razor says the less complex an explanation is the more likely it is to be true
>>173275[2/2]
So in conclusion, while postmodernism encourages critical thinking and diversity of perspectives, it caused the absolute opposite, valorizing the discourse of the cretins, or manipulators passing as simple people, because people have empathy and identifies as low class, seeing the educated high class as the privileged, the enemy, the nerd is hated for these reasons. Where postmodernism should have emphasized individualism, it is the framework of social-liberalism, and class warfare. Yep, you fit the absolute definition of a delusional wokeist/SJW. And knowing you're wrong, but echoing anti-facts will not change reality, never. (>You) are literally being influenced by your enemy, the enemy who wants your destruction and you offer our enemy everything you wanted.
<‘‘If it can be destroyed by truth, it must be.’’>>173267Of course, you didn't want the enemy to know anything developed for your security, ensuring deterrence because, you know; nukes are scary, hello! NASA was based during this era, created thanks to DEUTSCHE TECHNOLOGIE literal nazis, with in the mind of burying commies, physically or ideologically. You have to keep a LOT of things top secret, not everything NASA published on rocket design are open source, same about moon missions, they are not retarded. Northrop, Boeing, Douglas all keep their industrial secrets. Discoveries are the trophies of this work and you want them published, that's the game. You should be okay with that if you are an US citizen just like I hate it when Macron sells our technology to our enemies (Yes you too) Anyways, Space exploration remains the gigachad move of white race and must go on.
>>173278NASA isn't just one guy and exists since the 50's, a 1960's guy who worked on Project Mercury would punch the shit out of a current NASA guy. Also your logic is biased, kill yourself.
>>173279>NASA isnt just one guydid you just recently discover what "institution" or "corporation" means? I dont think anyone here ever claimed "NASA is one guy". maybe you need to lurk a few more years to gain some common sense
>>173270No. I'm not calling a goddamn 1-800 number that links to God only knows what, probably some kind of weird phone-sex line for insane schizos. I want YOU to answer my very simple question. A conspiracy on the scale of what you're proposing would be extraordinarily expensive and complicated to pull off. I want to know what you think the purpose of such an endeavor would be. Because I do not see how anyone involved in such a conspiracy could possibly benefit from it, let alone benefit greatly enough that it would justify the effort. Surely you at least have an opinion?
>>173274Pretty much what this anon says.
>>173277>>conspiracy cant happen at this magnitudeThat's not what I said. I said it's logistically implausible and that it's an absurd amount of trouble, so it requires a very, very, very strong motive.
>you can say the same thing about holocaust and holocaust museumsThis is much easier to pull off. A museum is not hard to build.
Also, Jews have an actual motive to promote the holohoax and to go through that trouble to make people believe it.
>if trillions of inflated dollars can be printed out of nothing but usury and finance, then logistical efficiencies can be nullifiedIt's not about the money, it's about the effort. What you suggest takes billions of people coordinating im lockstep and devoting absurd sums of their lives to doing this.
What's their motive to jump through all of these hoops and do all of this hard work?
>>173278>NASA cant use consistent modelsYes they do.
>occams razor says the less complex an explanation is the more likely it is to be trueBy that logic, Occam's razor says that there is no absurdly complex and logistically-nightmarish conspiracy in
>>173274 and that it is what it is at face value.
The most important point was that they answer questions, a point that you have ignored like many others.
>>173280>maybe you need to lurk a few more years to gain some common senseHe's been here since the first week of /mlpol/, unlike you.
You never lurked, despite everyone telling you, you massive hypocrite.
>>173282total kike debate tactic used here. nice semantic argument, but i just told you that statistical inefficiencies are nullified, theyre not a slam dunk like you believe them to be
>museums are east to buildspace and curvature is easy to fake. just use CGI, greenscreen pools, and fish eye lenses
>Its about the efforteffort is made to incentive, incentive is made through money, money gets wasted all the time by government and is getting further and further devalued
>the complex lies prove that its too complex to be faked!you arent saying anything here. in order to cover up a simple truth, you need a stack of reinforcing and over-arching complex lies. thats what flat earthers have been saying this whole time, and have been correctly pointing out. The flat earth positive claim on what the earth is, is the more simple one, relative to the cartoon spinning globe claim. the globers dont have a simple explanation for a simple claim, its not our job for us to deconstruct all their made up lies, its their job to stop being complicated pricks
>>173272lol. Honestly, you've got nerve accusing anyone of going off topic. Literally 2/3 of this thread is just you deflecting or dumping stupid memes every time someone backs you into a corner or calls you out on your bullshit.
>>173277>more deflectionWe're not talking about the goddamn holocaust. Honestly, faking the holocaust would be less complicated than faking the shape of the earth in an age where air and space travel are technologically possible. And, as the other anon pointed out,
there is actually a reason why someone would want to fake the holocaust. The holohoax is nothing but a few fake chimneys appended to some old buildings, and some exaggerated death statistics in wartime.
All I want to know is the answer to one very simple question: if the earth is actually flat, and there is a massive, complex conspiracy designed to keep the average person in the dark about this, then
why does this conspiracy exist? Who benefits, and how? This would be a ridiculously complicated project to pull off, and no matter how I look at it, I can't see any benefit in it for
literally anyone. Certainly nothing that justifies the absurd herculean effort.
>>173284*logistical inefficiencies, not statistical
>>173285>why the lieyou guys just keep asking the same shit over and over, when it was answered the first time
if were just a cosmic accident in the satanic model of space and floating planets, then i have severly less significance and relationship with the creator. i have less reason to fear sin. ALL OF THIS in the flat earth conspiracy lines of perfectly well with everything else going on. the lie of evolution, the lie of nuclear weapons, the lie of nihilism, the romantization with all of secular history.
Satan works by sucking energy out of other people, God wants all to feel his love and energy. Satan wants people to be globers so he can feed on their energy. thats why organizations and states are built on lies
>>173284>total kike debate tacticSaid the bigger to the kettle.
>statistical inefficiencies are nullifiedI disagree.
It was you who invoked Occam's razor: The absurdly complex logistics of such a conspiracy are evidence to the contrary using the very same logic you used.
>theyre not a slam dunk like you believe them to beThat is true, but you should still address it if you want people to believe you.
Why would they do this?
>effort is made to incentive, incentive is made through money, money gets wasted all the time by government and is getting further and further devaluedThat doesn't mean it's a fuckton of trouble to manage and organize. It would go r the people in power a huge headache.
So what's their motive for this headache?
>>>the complex lies prove that its too complex to be faked!I didn't say that. I used the same logic you invoked to refute the central point of your argument. Occam's Razor has its flaws, and I certainly wouldn't use it as proof for anything.
>in order to cover up a simple truth, you need a stack of reinforcing and over-arching complex lies.So why do they want to do that?
>The flat earth positive claim on what the earth is, is the more simple oneI disagree. The concept of space and planets is rather simple, as it's just the wider application of very basic universal forces.
>the globers dont have a simple explanation for a simple claim"Our earth is a planet in space."
There's your simple explanation. You can ask questions if you want more details.
>its not our job for us to deconstruct all their made up liesYou said in the OP that the purpose of the thread is to debunk the lies.
>its their job to stop being complicated pricksThey're pricks because their explanations are complicated? They're scientists, not preschool teachers.
When they give simple explanations, people ask for more details, and so they do their best to provide those details because that's their job.
And you're still avoiding the question: why would they do all of this? What's the motive?
>>173287>satanic model of space and floating planets>the lie of evolution>the lie of nuclear weapons>Satan works by sucking energy out of other people>Satan wants people to be globers so he can feed on their energySo in other words you don't actually have an answer, this is just some unhinged religious bullshit?
