What it is? Its an ongoing thread-based fantasy RPG
What it do? Players do their thing based off dice scripts and 3.5e D&D as a rules baseline.
Throughout the week we shitpost at one another and on weekends we kill shit or surmount some form of obstacle. New players always welcome.
The party currently has a trebuchet, a series of cannons, and an airship with another series of cannons aimed at a floating black pyramid just out from the docks of Port Barry. Its not actually a pyramid, its an octahedron, but its half submerged. Some quick thinking from the resident Mage kept it from teleporting away and escaping, and now the party is looking to crack that bitch open and see what sorta toys are inside. And kill shit.

[1d20 = 5]>>45839That's cuz trump only rolled for one of the 2 claw attacks. Tracy hasn't taken her attack of opportunity yet.
>>45840I thought the other guy was defeated by a 30 and Trump had 35? Eh, it's +29 +24 +19 +14 when there's no special modifiers
>>45841I'll take the AoO after he lands a hit on the big one.
[1d20 = 2]>>45844Sweet Roll
>lost both armsTracy makes her AoO to finish the big one with her chain if he doesn't kaput.
>>45850Unless losing both arms left him helpless..
Either way, he's taken care of.
>>45848One of 'em is hanging from a piece of leathery flesh, but yeah, pretty much.
Okay, so one of the attacks does triple damage and the other does max damage (so 10). Also, the 19 does double damage.
[3d10 = 10]
[1d100 = 42]
Also, the big one rolls on the fumble table.
>>45857Is the big one still alive?
>>45858She'd be able to tell with her deathwatch.
If not, attack the nearest one.
The big one was knocked from its feet and is now prone, flailing its nub and its floppy arm.
>>45858Yes
[3d20 = 45]>>45860Can she deliver a coup-de-grace?
Attacking the big one.
>>45860"Take that Eugene v Debs, or whoever you are. Fucking ancient leftist and your undead socialist philosophy"
>>45861Three of them are surrounding you and can hit you
>>45861No, its not helpless, its just pitiful. It can't attack, and technically it climb to its feet even.
>>45864Did that roll finish it off?
>>45861No, but its pretty fucked up. Alright, back to Snek, then Torcuil.
>>45867Will the biggy be unable to attack next turn?
Okay, i gtg so I'll lay out Snek and Torc's next turn
Snek shoots the mummy attacking Torc [1d20+11 = 27]
Torc summons the Pepe Army
>>45868>flails helplessly>>45869Capped.com
>>45869A bunch of pepes run up from behind Torcuil and start jumping on the two mummies immediately threatening him.
>>45872>>45873I gotta leave for like an hour
>>45875Uh... should Trump cast a Break enchantment on Torcuil next round?
>>45876I think he made the fortitude save, although Trumpaladin has no way of knowing that.. Either way, go to assist him next round. The big mummy isn't doing anything while he's on the ground in pieces.
>>45878Actually, idk if he made the fortitude save,..
>>45878Actually, Mummy's rot has an incubation period of one minute, so we have time before he's in real danger
>You're being a metafaggotThis is true. Trumpaladin's instinct would be to assume that what-ever the fuck happened to Torcuil will paralyze him temporarily and that it can be addressed after there is no longer the constant danger of the other 3 people (and one snek I guess) being hit. His next move would be to kill the Mummies targeting Fae, or maybe Tracy (probably not Tracy... He has a mild fear of horses after this)
He would ask Fae about such things, since he assumes Fae has great religious knowledge
>>45879I'm not sure, I just assumed GM was rolling for constitution drain earlier
>>45880Just make a knowledge check to know about Mummy Rot. It should be a basic question (DC 15) for a Paladin.
>>45879Actually, it looks like Torcuil did save on at least one curse
>>45882Not if they were advanced.
>>45881>shouldKitty Kleric Knows
>>45883I think the mummies were only rated as having +11 attacks which is the base for a mummy. The big one had a number of levels in Cleric or possibly anti-paladin, so he was advanced
I can't say I'm sure that he wasn't hit by a second curse though
>>45884Then roll for her
How many levels in Cleric does she have?
>>45885Only two from advancement, although for the purposes of base attack bonus and saves, the additional 8 hit die are considered as Cleric. Maybe the entire mount is reinterpreted as a cleric, the rules are not clear, although she has better base attack if her 9 magical beast points are not reinterpreted. As for ranks in knowledge, I don't think she has any except maybe a tiny number from her two cleric levels, it's more of just a special feature of the character that she has a bizarrely high knowledge of religion (prophecies thus far), the mechanics faction, and a few other areas of knowledge
>>45886So then, she'd have a max of 5 ranks in Knowledge Religion (same as Tracy).
I think Tracy roll back then would've succeeded, but better just roll for her, so she recognizes the curse.
>>45887Muh meme Kleric Kitty Knowledge though. Max ranks
>>45889Infernius insulted Elway when he refused to acknowledge trips come from Elway
[1d20 = 13]>>45891But she's a celestial from the realm of Football!
Fine, rolling
>>45892>Not Elway >>45893Do Paladin's Mounts count as celestials? I know they come from the celestial plane, but the template isn't listed on their page.
>>45893Looks good enough to know that mummies turn you to fucking sand when they touch you.
>>45894They are not celestials for the purpose of damage reduction and all that other crap celestials get, but I think they they are celestials in the sense of being sourced from and residing on the celestial plane. They are "magic beasts" but also whatever the hell the base animal is, plus the bonus hit die which is cleric for most purposes
