Well how about that,... air pirates. And they call their ship a derivative of "Cunt" too. I wonder if there's a connection, GM says dryly.
This leg of the game has the players either onboard or somewhere in the vicinity of the 'random' pirate airship that has taken to firing upon Trump Tower, as well as several of the characters. Unfortunately, a spell-caster onboard has placed a spell of Peace on the ship, and now there's a shimmering wall of force surrounding the captain.
Thez is hovering about 45deg from the front, ready to attack. Lenos is preparing for a Meteor Swarm, Infernius is speeding toward the ship, and Torcuil said "Fuck the Bullshit" and just teleported to it.
Trump wants to engage in diplomacy, but he rolled a 1 so he has to wait, and Tracy can't stab at ALL, which is an entirely new sensation for her.

*Trumpony gives Infernius a charming smile and glance, then exits the craft, giving Infernius a nice look at his amazing flank*

@43086
Eh, If I could trade levels, I'd trade something else.
Tracy is neither lawful nor good, and it'd be dumb to play her as such.
>>43087>neither lawful nor goodYou should change that. She's annoying as neutral evil, and Lawful Good is just objectively the best alignment
>something elseWhat would your preferred set of levels be?
>>43103
Stop fucking telling me how to play a lawful good character if you want to claim "lol ebin ebil upvote me please!" who isn't evil but stupid and fucks over the whole party in the process. The hypocrisy is beyond obnoxoious
>>43104You're right, I really haven't been playing her ebil enough to meet the role.
It's difficult when she can't keep anything secret though..
>>43106batman is lawful good though.
>>43107Was just testing to see if my memes were deleted.
And yeah, he's more lawful.
>>43105No, I'm talking about how you have her do shit that fucks over the party while moralizing about what the rest of us do or don't do. Pick one, and fuck off with the hypocrisy
>>43107Strangely enough, this. It's under appreciated just how damned principled Batman is
>>43109How would you play an ebil character?
>>43109>It's under appreciated just how damned principled Batman isYeah, I didn't read the meme before posting.
Batman is actually really lawful, perhaps more than a lot of heroes, despite how he works.
>>43110GM said the defining feature of the good-evil alignment is service to others against service to self. So selfish. Because most moral principles actually have some utility to them, he couldn't be
pure evil because morals like honesty and loyalty are generally necessary to maintain group cohesion or the trust that allows for voluntary exchange. He's make up for the lack of purity in evil in the shear scale of what is done. I definitely wouldn't do pointless, non-self serving evil acts, since they don't have any real benefit and can have harms
>>43115Precisely. It's definitely my favored villain alignment
>>43117But chaotic evil isn't as strong. If you don't have rules and covenants and oaths then you can't facilitate trust, and if you don't have trust you can neither succeed in large collective endevours nor repeated voluntary exchange. And when you don't have that, you can't accomplish anything truly great...
>>43115As for how to play neutral evil... I think I'd have to reduce ambitions/expectations
>>43117I mean, you're allowed to like whatever you like, I just like structure and glory
>>43118you don't necessarily need trust, you could control everyone through fear.
>>43120Maybe if you have
very high grade and enhanced super powers, maybe, but even then, you'll be afraid to go to sleep. In general, humans are not very powerful as individuals, regardless of how intelligent, strong, or well resourced they are, and giving them standard fantasy superpowers increases that but actually not by a lot. Where humans
really gain their power is in getting other humans to do things for them that they want. That requires
someone to actually want to do you bidding and believe that you aren't going to fuck them over next. But when you have a class of people - or better, and entire nation - willing to execute your commands,
then you've got some serious power, especially when combined with standard fantasy super powers
>>43121my ideal choatic evil character would be a troll lich.
>>43014.tey erus toN.
>>43039Actually, it was a schiavonna, and he didn't use weapon finesse.
>>43042If you must know, if Thez was a porta-potty, she'd be "occupied".
>>43048Korak's sword isn't a 'cane sword', its a basket-hilted sword that transforms into a cane when the user engages the mechanism in it.
>>43053Damage-wise, its a long sword.
>>43056Oh god
>>43058At least this one wouldn't be wearing pink armor
>>43070Not knocked out, just stunned so she could shove the bottle of air down his throat without him resisting. He is,... safe.
>>43113>He's make up for the lack of purity in evil in the shear scale of what is done. I definitely wouldn't do pointless, non-self serving evil actsSee, that's exactly my issue here. I want to do
really ebil things, even if only once in a while, but I can't really think of things she could do and get away with in this environment. When I think of neutral ebil, I think "does whatever she can get away with", although it's hard to keep secrets in a campaign like this.
>the defining feature of the good-evil alignment is service to others against service to selfIdk.. I can think of a lot of characters who were objectively ebil, but really weren't helping themselves at all. I always took the dicotomy of "good vs ebil" as "helping people vs hurting people". The defining qualities of an ebil character should be determined by their cruelty, malice, or willingness to cause great harm or suffering unto others, for whatever reason or lack of reason that may be.
Even in lore and fiction surrounding /tg/ games, it's not hard to find objectively ebil characters who didn't really do much in service to themselves. A lot of LE characters could be some jerk committing vile acts for "the greater good" (bullshit), while other LE or even NE characters may be loyal cohorts to ebil people they respect, or champions of nations that happen to serve ebil gods. For these kinds of characters, you can tell their evil by the cruel acts they commit, their depravity, or the dastardly methods they use to carry-out whatever it is they do: if you're killing babies, even if it benefits you in no way, you're probably ebil. Even CE characters don't have to be motivated by self-interest to be ebil; oftentimes they're only motivated by pure hatred something else that makes them choose to destroy everything or hurt innocent people.
>>43124Killing babies
always benefits the person doing it anon
