>>42912It's mostly because I am still jealous of and hate the fact that you haxxed your way into super powers. Being able to fly, being able to fly
magically, and being able to fly at a speed that is three times (unarmored) human speed and three times my flying mount's speed. That's really the main reason, although that was a necessary but not sufficient cause.
But then you were saying "do a ride check," which seemed like weird rule cucking for a number of reasons. First of all, why not just mount normally? It's not like Tracy's dive speed isn't faster than infernius's dive speed. She could catch up, and I figured since Trump had initiative anyways he could mount and then she speeds off without losing a round.
But it just seemed like rules lawyerring against my character in a way that made little sense and was extremely hypocritical. Yeah I know you're supposed to have a 10 on a ride check to ride a large horse into battle. No one cares, and we haven't used ride checks the whole campaign, so for you to insist on it then seemed like bringing up an obscure and unused rule for no reason.
You said "he has to roll a 20 to fast mount." When I checked later I realize that means a dice roll plus modifiers, but at the time you said that I thought you meant "he has to roll a natural 20" which just seemed like a smug and cocky as fuck statement.
So it was me being upset with the Tracy character being able to fly at 90ft, combined with annoyance at being rule cucked, and more than anything, it was extreme hypocrisy of the two at the same time. Just think about it for a moment "he haxxs his way into making his character be able to fly, and fly at
three times the speed I could walk (without armor) or my special mount could fly but he wants me to have a 50% chance of failing to
sit on a damned horse when ride checks haven't been enforced in this entire campaign? Fuck your haxx, fuck your attempts at rule cucking, fuck your hypocrisy, and fuck you." And that was the feeling
>>42918That was a shitpost. But if we're being more serious, like a mare.
