Set six years after season 6, Occupied Equestria presents an alternative history where the Changelings have conquered half of Equestria, while a former Equestrian colony - soured to Princess Twilight's notion of harmony with all creatures because of their encounters with griffins - Invaded and took the other half. In Baltimare and the Equestrian Southeast, the magic of friendship has weakened, as Communists, Changeling infiltrators, Fascists, gangs, and corrupt creepy politicians threaten the city. This role play is based in large part upon the Equestria at War mod for Hearts of Iron 4, and uses D&d 3.5e mechanics.
The long train ride from Baltimare to Bales has been interrupted by a group of partisan fighters, claiming to be looking for none other than Pinkie Pie, who has been kept prisoner since the end of the war. They don't seem to have found their prize, but they do seem to have found a very pissed off Brie, Onyx, and Spark, as well as another Bat Pony, and both groups have been interrupted by a new set of intruders. In Baltimare, Silver, Dark Star, and Iron await a new and uncertain dawn.

>>100278"Bleib sitzen, wir müssen vielleicht gehen." Brie whispers to Kerr and Wesley, while peering out the window at the pony on the stretcher. Does he recognize anything about it?
>>100281It’s the drained pony, of course
>>100282Is he moving and/or conscious?
>>100283He is not moving, and does not look conscious. Neither is the body completely covered
>>100284RIP in pasta, stretcher pone. Hopefully your memory was wiped somehow.
>>100285If he's uncovered, he's probably still alive. Further, they know there's a changeling somewhere.
Fug, the officer patted both the Lings on the head.
Brie opens the cabin door enough to peek out into the corridor.
>>100286There is a pony in officer’s uniform at the very end of the hall (towards the rear of the train) who looks over when the door opens
>>100287>>100286Well, perhaps he doesn’t look over if there he door is merely cracked open, but he seems to be in a good position to observe movement through the corridor
>>100287>>100288The
same officer or a different one?
>>100289Looks like one of the local police officers previously outside of his room
>>100290How's the planning with Iron going?
>>100290Brie obviously and deliberately opens the door to the corridor and looks around until he sees the officer. "Ah, excuse me. Is there any sign of how long it will be before the train is under way?"
>>100292The officer responds
“The train will be underway to Bales shortly. We have a few more interviews to conduct, and some cars to switch out, but then the train shall depart the station. Please remain in your car unless this is your destination.”
>>100293"Absolutely, thank you."
Brie closes the door and starts pacing.
>>100294Assuming Brie remains in the car, after a while - thirty minutes - the car lurches forward, and seems to be in the process of leaving the station
>>100295"Nun, das war ein bisschen zu nahe, um es zu trösten. Trotzdem scheint es gut geklappt zu haben." Brie says to the Lings. He goes over to the door and peeks out again.
>>100296Both Changelings nod, expressing a sort of fear from the whole set of events
Kerr adds
“Also haben sie uns nicht entdeckt? Richtig?”
>>100296There’s are still a number of officers in the station, though f
far fewer. A number of ponies have been given exams that seek to be testing for disguised Changelings, whether these ponies were all departing passengers or just ponies of interest can’t be determined. The train goes further out of the station, and seems to be traveling fast enough to be on its way, rather than simply going to an adjacent field or train yard.
>>100297>>100298"Es sieht so aus. Sie wissen, dass ein "Wechselbalg" an Bord war, aber bei allem Unglück hatten sie keine Zeit, sich eingehend umzusehen. Ich denke, sie hätten nie erwartet, dass ein Nicht-Wechselbalg ein Paar jungetiere Wechselbalgs begleitet."
I trust I don't have to clarify that I DIDN'T type "jungle changing birds"
>>100299At a new bar nowBoth nymphs look more than a little disturbed
It is Kerr who speaks up
“Sind wir jetzt in Sicherheit?”
>>100302"Ja. Wenn wir in unmittelbarer Gefahr wären, würden Sie es wissen. Wir wären wahrscheinlich alle in Hufschellen."
>>100303Kerr nods. Wesley stands up from his position on the floor, and gets up on the bed, trying to curl around Brie in physical contact, and lay down. He is cold to the touch. Kerr keeps his distance, but lays down next to the heater, which is located by the window.
>>100304Brie gives Wesley headpats
>>100305Wesley actually coos like a Pegasus. His ears go up, and he leans into the hoof, he moves around between Brie and the wall
>>100307Brie is so gonna get eated
>>100308Kerr takes interest in the head patting, and looks up over to Brie head raised up. He seems to be contemplating the merits of Brie versus the heater’s air duct
>>100311>the heater's air ductI'm not sure how to interpret that. Still, Brie gives him head-pats too. "Je weiter wir von großen Ponystädten entfernt sind, desto einfacher wird es. Wir hätten nicht damit rechnen können, dass ein Haufen Idioten den Zug entführen wird, aber es ist äußerst unwahrscheinlich, dass derselbe Zug zweimal entführt wird. Und wenn ja, ... . " Brie's voice trails off, and his eyes drift to his new sword. "Ich kann etwas Neues ausprobieren." he finishes.
>>100312I think it's supposed to be the part of the heater where the hot air comes out.
>>100312*Vent
It’s the vent for the heater in the room
>>100313The implication being he's not sure which windbag to snuggle up to? That doesn't help
>>100314Still not helping. Still, headpats
>>100315cuz u warm n fluffeh.
I think that's what the GM wants to compare.
>>100316Yes, bats are fluffy in spite of their reputation
>>100317Kerr has just realized that, it seems.
I wonder what is holding the GM up in confirming Kerr's huggles.
Maybe he may try to take your love subconsciously. >>100318Love? Cease your lies. This is business and nothing more.
>>100319Children are quite sporadic. Who knows? He may mistake business for
Love~ >>100312My phone died...As the hoof stretches out towards Kerr he first pulls his head back, and his ears down briefly. But he looks at Brie with his yellow eyes, then pulls his head forward, towards Brie’s hoof
Wesley pulls himself forward with his forehooves, inching forward with each pull of his hooves, and feeling sort of like a furry ice bag between Brie and the wall on the somewhat cramped bed. He pulls himself under the blanket and pokes his head out:
“Wirst du uns beschützen?” Wesley ask Brie, looking at Brie with big blue eyes.
Goddamn, the Arcturian Order is made up of some tenacious bastards. I'm watching the Dark Crusade from the safety of Starrygrad right now, and the Order has lasted almost a year by holding nothing except the Tarpian Rock. At this rate, they may just be able to finish the Shield of Hope focus and win the war without doing anything else.
Shit, nevermind, attrition finally forced the Order to surrender.
>>100312Outside Brie’s window pass three and four story grey and white buildings with steep roofs of slate and grey brick. Occasionally, the train crosses stone bridges over small rivers, and through green parks. A large rail sometimes a wall, separates the tracks from the stone streets where ponies can be seen walking about their normal business. Every now and then, the larger tower of a church, or the clock tower of the city Rathaus penetrates juts up from the picturesque mass of buildings. Further out from the historical center of the ancient court city, past the area of historical preservation, larger buildings grow - five, ten, fifteen or more stories tall brick and steel office buildings, lower class tenements, and manufactories with big brick smoke stacks. These grow out of the side of a hill, the whole city built on top of a mountain. As the train winds its way down this mountain, a Brie obtains a final look at the large golden towers of the Princess’s castle. This royal mountaintop palace was the administrative center of the Empire of Harmony, an empire that stretched from the river separating Acornage and the Changeling lands to the far west, all the way to the Griffonian Empire’s Wingbardy, separated from the old Dominion by a small river. It is and was visible from most of central Equestria, and can now be seen from two countries.
But the train keeps a rolling, and with a faster pace than the previous day, desperate to prevent the larger political circumstances from infringing too heavily upon its schedule, and its reputation as a fast and regular passenger carrier
