Its that RP thread again! Spectators can shitpost, new players can try it out with little/no investment, and established players need no explanation.
We return as most of the party is either in Sparintenar preparing for a swank banquet - a custom among the Spartans - or speeding towards; except Thez. ;_;
Our newest player Stix is exploring the surrounding forest area, as is his proclivity as a ranger.
Tracy, speeds toward Sparintenar at full speed for some reason unknown to GM at time of OP.
Thez is at the Sticky Wickett, having brought Bones along to have a mostly one-sided conversation, accented occasionally by >doot
Game is temporally not set to fire off at a particular point, but last thread passed 2nd bump so,....

>>56473"Hello, Adam." Tracy says, taking off of her mask
"I came over from the mill. I heard Eric disappeared recently, so I thought I'd poke around a bit."
>>56474. . . solo? (Fae, notwithstanding)
>>56475Plus I am my own Silver.
>>56473Grr... I broke the string because you made it sound like it couldn’t be used. Why would you bring up that I may not be able to use it during potential combat if I could use it?
REEEEEEE
Just get Stix the string and we can discuss these small, but important details later
>>56464>"Are we there yet?""No now stop complaining"
"99 Bottles of beer on the wall, 99 bottles of beer! Take one down, pass it around, 98 bottles beer on the wall"
Snek begins to wonder how painful falling off the airship would be.
>>56478>I am my own Silver. This is a great part about playing a pony.
>>56476"Yeah, well you won't find any sad faces in the crowd, if that's what you're hoping to see."
>>56478Because the whole point is for players to get creative by their characters.
Ask yourself this question. If I were a pony ranger (NOT the mighty morphin variety), how would I overcome the limitations of hooves in order to use a bow (or some other easily swapped-in range weapon)?
>>56477The Generals don't have horses with them and heavy horses are pretty slow. Infernius may be interested but he's busy. Tracy just fucking vanished on him (normally he'd do this with her), Torcuil took the Airship and left. Stix just vanished from Town almost as soon as he arrived. So... what are his other options? Unless the Spartans insist on an escort
>>56482I don’t want to argue with the GM over this, but I did say I was digging it in the dirt for support. However, I got an idea on how to do this effectively in the future, if I can make my way back to the tower sometime.
>>56482"Commander squirrel, you okay?you've been quiet for long time.
>>56482Does he need like a passport to go in and out of the Empire like going into Britain from the EU (or the EU from Switzerland), is there like a demilitarized zone between the Sils and the Forest, or what?
>>56484>I don’t want to argue with the GMYou are weak
>>56482"Not at all, just wondered if anyone was stabbing in my territor- i mean- disturbing peace.. hehe.."
>>56486Or maybe I am reasonable and don’t want to consume all of our time over petty squabbles. But take your pick, I’m fine with being called either
>>56483You could call her and she'd appear in minutes.
I wanna go look for the useless loser Eric though, or at least get to stab the guy who stabbed him.
>>56489Please no stab. Hanging is more appropriate. Or maybe something like Crucifixion.
I don't actually care how you kill him, just shitposting >>56484What I was getting at - and I may have misrepresented this - is that while I have an issue with ponies in general using bows and such, I'm not opposed the the exceptional character who can, just so long as their story makes sense for why they would know a thing. I wouldn't allow Stix to perform a tea ceremony with any efficacy, but I can envision that he could use a bow. But, I want the player to explain it. ^_~
>>56492Oh yeah. That's a bit unkosher now because of events... I was thinking of how some Roman General crucified 5000 men of the Sparticus slave rebellion (or some servile uprising) and set them all along the road in between two cities. I thought "damn, now
that is a statement"
>>56491 ah, sorry then... and I’m sure you don’t argue over everything >>56493I see. That’s going to be a tad challenging as I’m making the character up as I go it seems.
Stix pays for the string.
>>56493"... So.. Where did you last see that guy anyway? He sounds pretty unpopular."
>>56494The Romans were pretty brutal.
>>56495No, he does; and he will.
Everyone makes their character up as they go.
>>56496"Well, I'm not one to be spreading rumors, but that there," he says pointing to a shack. " is where his old lady lives. That THERE," he says pointing to an obviously disparate building, "Is where his
new lady lives, if you catch my meaning," he says with a chuckle.
>>56493Wait a minute. Is there like a foreign minister or something?
>>56497But you have to admit lining a road with 5000 crucifixions sounds pretty awesome
>>56496Don't forget the Flowershop as well>>56495Yes I do >>56495He'd argue about anything
>>56499>sounds awesomeUntil you realize the Roman captains force you to clean up all of those bodies once they decay beyond use for a message to enemies
>>56499No, just me
>>56499The flower girl is a separate case than Eric
Tracy's eye twitches a bit...
"..Yeah... I think I get the gist of it..." she says through gritted teeth
>>56502GOES DOWN THE ROAD TO GATESIL.
Unless the Spartan he asked for directions has any words as to why that is unwise or impossible
>>56501But that's what they have slaves for
>>56502Well sure, but it's possible that it has the same actor or actors
>>56503Kek
[1d20+21 = 36]
Rolling to gather info around the pub on where Eric was last seen.
Tracy's new goal is to make sure Eric is dead if she ever finds his sorry, cheating ass.
Tracy goes to the Flower shop, because why not.
>>56502>>56502*gets up*
"Bye commander squirrel!"
*finishes dead soviet*
>>56508That's twice as dangerous.
>continues to be ignored>>56508>two waifusWhat are you, a fucking mormon?
>>56510>notice me senpaiI noticed you, but I don’t think it count
>>56512Eh, it's probally for the best, my eyelids are getting pretty heavy
>>56510Destroy something. That's a good way to get attention.
>>56513Sleep well meme magician. Until next time.
>>56514>floating on an airshipI don't like my options on "things to destroy"
>>56516Shoot some meteors at the ground and see what you can stir up.
>>56510>>56509He could have a happy marriage with several wives. Or it could go down like part 2 of the Cell Block Tango
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1qQCFQCneA >>56516Sleep well, and dream of volumptuous Unicorns, who have their way with you when they've had too much to drink
>>56519Tracy goes to the flower shop and searches around for the tastiest-smelling flowers.
>>56518Also parts 4, 5, and 6 of the Cell Block Tango
