My character assumes that Kefka is motivated in the way he would be motivated were he in Kefka's position? Is that the right way to look at it? probably not. But it's a reasonable enough explaination for why Kefka was so fascinated by the story of jews and why he didn't kill them or why he left at that point in the conversation. So basically that's my character's interpretation and I'm sticking to it until the facts change
