German Politics are very slow and people dont like change. They usually only vote for the people they know. the general participation in elections is lackluster, usually less than 60%. Most people who do vote are old and only really care about pensions. There is a defacto natsoc party, but i do suspect them to be controlled oppostion. There is also a communist party, but they are barely faring any better in elections. Germany has kind of a 2 party system, but I'd lie if i said the general course of politics is subject to much change regardless of who is actually in power. Even if the AFD was to take over Germany tomorrow i have my doubts that they would change all that much.
