Welcoming new players, and raping welcoming back the old ones, itt continuing the RP Game threads. It's largely classic D&D 3.5e, but only as a baseline of rules and details and such. With every session something gets tweaked, added, pissed on, or thrown out the fucking window. We're right now introducing a new character, so anyone interested is welcome to follow along.

We tried two weeks ago, all of us together as a group, to make her patterns of behavior more amenable to working in a group. We asked her to stop stealing and to stop lying. I made a contract with her and had her agree to stop lying to me, stealing from me, and stop attacking my associates. Associates like Inferius. And what has she done over that two weeks? Stabbed, stolen, and probably lied to us. We've tried diplomacy before. It does not work.
Now what do you mean that Marking her will "only create resentment." No. That pony loves almost nothing, and she is afraid of losing almost nothing. But there is one thing she would miss if it were lost. Her ability to move freely. We can threaten to take that away from her - automatically - if she stabs us or steals from us again. Now, with a paladin and a cleric - and maybe a Wizard - all casting the spell on a restrained Tracy, we can cover a wide area of behavior. No more stabbing, no more stealing - you name it. She'll have a genuine reason not to do it now.
But besides Mark of Justice - we also can "quest" her. Cast a geas. Make her stop in a more forcible manner.
Now please, help, or stand aside"

She pulls the garter out, keys in white, purple, purple, and 2nd purple, and a small pocket opens between the two white stones, from which she produces the Emerald Tablet and the Chaos Diamond (its a diamond btw, not an emerald). She then places the garter back in the side pocket, and produces the Disguise Mask.
If either items are not in the quiver, she'll divert to a different course of action, but assuming they are, that's what she does before giving the quiver back.

"The bow is a Ghost-Touch (weightless, and able to be interacted with by ethereal creatures) Oathbow I picked up while venturing through the Abyss. Apparently some elven kingdom had been cast into the Abyss, and everyone had been killed. All that remained of the kingdom was a poor retarded elf-prince who had died defending the women and children. The women and children had died to, but of suicide rather than being slaughtered by infernals. That young boy was so resolute on protecting them that he had remained as a ghost, and used his newfound abilities to confuse, distract, and infuriate the demons long enough for the last of the elves drink their kool-aid and peacefully pass from the wretched existence that had been forced upon them. It was very sad, but I played a game with him that allowed him the chance to be the hero again and to finally comprehend that his duty had been done and so he finally passed on."
