Welcoming new players, and raping welcoming back the old ones, itt continuing the RP Game threads. It's largely classic D&D 3.5e, but only as a baseline of rules and details and such. With every session something gets tweaked, added, pissed on, or thrown out the fucking window. We're right now introducing a new character, so anyone interested is welcome to follow along.

>>17351>Can I have something to make the fights a little more in my favor…?Do you not realize that I've intentionally made sure to only give her powers that your character is resistant/immune to (I make her decisions with math, so it's annoying to me if she sees opportunities? She's a field monster: you could knock her out in just 1-2 hits with Smite Evil
(It's the safe word! I've been hinting at this for weeks now. Remember it!) GM can you look up the artillery luger, and tell me if lenos can do that?
>>17361while we are talking about firearms.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UExcdWxmev8can i get something like pic related?
>>17339I can tone down to malevolence, gradually.
But seriously, why do you have to make things harder than it is? You
know that I make most decisions with math, but you still treat it like it's some kind of power struggle? Why does your character always ask so many obscure inquisitive questions that his faggot already knows the answer to? You
know that she's going to be doing all this edgy/evil shit in secret, but your character keeps prying or making passive-aggressive movements to mess-up whatever he doesn't actually know is going on (i.e. following Tracy all the way to the dome for no reason, while Port Barry was being burned down). I have to pull-out a graphing calculator in every scene she's in with your character in it, so stop intentionally saying stuff that no sane person would say around their psychotic stalker: she's not oblivious to your character casually implying he doesn't like her or that he likes other females; I have to jump through hoops to avoid violent outcomes with muh flowcharts.
Just let me do evil shit in secret so I can play her as neutral in the open, and stop making your character ask questions he wouldn't think of or make passive-aggressive movements like it's some kind of game of chess. Nothing my character does hampers yours directly, so let him mind his own business while the mysterious ghost pony wreaks havoc on unrelated/deserving populous at night.
>>17361Yes like that, but god those colors are awful for a gun.
Now I can shoot stuff from half a mile away. Sniping time >>17363>You know that I make most decisions with mathWhy do you do that. Change the math to something better for the rest of us
>>17364I thought you'd like the colors,....
How about this then? This is more along the lines of how I envisioned the guns to begin with.
>>17365Noted, and I think I can accommodate
>>17363As I said to him "Baby steps"
>>17362Its possible, but you'll have to ask the right people the right questions.
>>17359>Change the math to something better for the rest of usIt's not so easy as it sounds (you try to create your own math system to emulate a psychotic mindset). The system as created to abdicate control and make the game more interesting. I reserve one rotating day per week for pure faggot-driven banter.
Also, if I changed it or tried to predict where it will come out as, it wouldn't really be a yandere plot, would it? An essential part to a yandere story is the unpredictable potential violence.
>>17367Thats better, gold is terrible look
>>17363>Why does your character always ask so many obscure inquisitive questions that his faggot already knows the answer to? So he can get answers
>You know that she's going to be doing all this edgy/evil shit in secret, but your character keeps prying or making passive-aggressive movements to mess-up whatever he doesn't actually know is going onI think you just answered your own question there
>I have to pull-out a graphing calculator in every scene she's in with your character in itJust... why would you play like that?
>following Tracy all the way to the dome for no reason, while Port Barry was being burned downHow the hell do you come to that interpretation? I was going somewhere because I wanted to expand my empire, and I didn't give a shit what you were doing. And neither of us knew Port Barry was burning down. Cardishore was the city recommended by GM. I would have just as happily gone anywhere else
>or make passive-aggressive movements like it's some kind of game of chessThen don't play chess with loot or unicorns
>let him mind his own business while the mysterious ghost pony wreaks havoc on unrelated/deserving populous at night. He's Paladin of Port Barry, so Port Barry is his business
>>17372I'm sorry, but if your character can't stop prying needlessly on whims he shouldn't have with his level of knowledge, don't expect me not to be sneaky about things; I still intent to play an evil character.
>>17363Nigger, I scored high on the LSAT. I can do basic logic. If Tracy disappears exactly at the moment the unicorn is being talked about, that means Tracy is going for the unicorn, or at least the odds are high enough to merit spending time on it. Same with who took the thing, and so on and so forth. I have been limiting knowledge
>>17375>prying needlessly on whimsIt's called being suspicious. If you don't want that, then stop being suspicious
>>17373Fukkin subb'd! TY!
>>17375May I suggest that Tracy interpret Trump's inquisitiveness as genuine interest rather than prying? Given Tracy's interest in him, wouldn't his questions be interpreted as concern and/or growing devotion? Rather than respond defensively, might she instead respond with intrigue?
>>17375And I still intend to play a Good one you kike. Have you learned nothing.
>>17373Okay, meta-gaming isn't wasn't I thought it was
New, Low-sodium bread when?
>>17377This.
The love interest can be Yandere too
>>17380How did you know I was going with "Low Sodium"? Soon.
>>17386its the next logical step.
>>17384Wat.
>>17385Yandere means an person with an obsessive romantic interest that outwardly presents the appearance of niceness, but on the inside is just crazy and aggressive. Tsundere is basically the inverse, being hostile and cold on the outside, but being loving on the inside
>>17386>>17380I don't think we've resolved the issue. A less salty bread can wait until there is less salt
>>17389I want low-sodium now, so I can post stuff I want there, and dump my autism in this cesspool of a thread.
>>17388>watI took extensive lengths to create a system that minimized increasing attachment and the decay it created, and applied a function to make it so that your character isn't the center of the world anymore.
>>17390Can we not have Yandere decay though? That just creates a monster none of us want to see
>>17391The system itself is created to regulate decay and become increasingly chaotic: it was originally developed for this purpose. The detachment matrix slows the process, but relies on the character focusing on other thought-lines to obscure obsession: in this case, that thought being the arrival of the new most important being in the world.
>>17392did you even watch the video? it shows you how to play an evil character.
>>17392Uh... Okay. Just can you play it in a way that isn't unfun for the rest of us?
>>17394Fuck off
"Maybe this will help," Lenos says with a strange multi-button rod in his hands.
He points it at the party, and not dissimilar to the Frog Swarm, a stampede of adorable kittens shoots forth from the tip, covering everyone in adorable little buzzes with big eyes and cute little ears. The whole place is now filled with the sound of "Mew"s.
>>17396infernuis hugs as many kittens as possible.
*freezes in place not sure what to do*
"A.. A-ah..! W-wha-what do I do with them? They're all so.. fluffy!"
Finish salty things in this bread, and when its settled, there's a new bread.
https://mlpol.net/vx/res/17398.html#17401>>17395Sure.. I can do some more math..
>>17393I did, it was helpful.
>>17404Good. I hope we can leave drama behind
>>17403Can you give me something so I don't feel deletion-y. Pwease
How about (and I'll dup-post in new bread) we agree to disagree, but not act like faggots toward one another, or else GM will start nerfing characters left and right? ^_^
>sweetest of disingenuous smiles
No offense, I find that most players are being much more reasonable
