>>98877I feel much more in the zone now than I did last night.Thank goddesses. I do not want to slip at this moment. He alights his horn so he can see his goal: the porcelain throne, the centerpiece to any self-respecting bathroom, and what a fine centerpiece it is. Silver lifts the seat up with a flick of his magic and leans bipedally over the toilet, forehooves bracing himself against the wall. He looks down to his Sword, still sheathed.
Okay, my friend, I know you deserve rest, but I need you to come out for this. And you do not have much of choice, I am afraid. A second later, and with a little magic stimulation, he has a proper, firm hose to aim down towards his target. He lets out a sigh of relief as he empties his bladder into the awaiting pool of water below him. His mind, meanwhile, begins to wander.
First, his thoughts arrive at the topic of his two current companions. It sure seems like there's a delicate balance between the two. Star seems to be very stubborn in his refusal to show his feelings or concerns to Skies, and is extraordinarily jealous of anypony who gets even a little close to her. Silver had been cuddling with Skies for but a second, and Star immediately jumped to the conclusion that the two were fucking. It's so bad, Star doesn't even want him in the bed.
Silver's aching back, however, tells him that he's going to have to respectfully disagree with Star's request.
Skies, in turn, seems a little hesitant to talk to Star about her own problems, though it might be he's missing something that the two have already talked about. He smiles to himself as he looks down at his Sword, his thoughts moving to the physical attributes of his companions. He has to admit, Star has a nice ass. If he was gay, Silver could imagine Star would be quiet the catch.
I wonder what Skies would think about him and I together. Maybe she would want to watch. It does seem like something she would want to do. Ultimately, homoerotic thoughts aside, Silver just hopes everything will be alright with them. He wishes they would just talk this through, so that their relationship isn't harmed any further by all of this resentment and uncertainty.
Second, his thoughts travel to those of the drones, even if only briefly. He hopes they're alright, wherever they are, and that they're thinking of him. He could almost imagine trying to raise them like they were his foals, if he had the time and the ability. He most certainly would want to. Maybe he'll see them again, someday. Hopefully it's in a pleasant manner, and not in the field of battle or something like it.
...Huh. What perspective they have given me. All I knew was from fighting them in War, how menacing they seemed to be, and how much of threat they were to ponykind. And now, since I have met those drones, they almost seem like ponies. If only we could all sit down together, and reach that same understanding. Finally, his thoughts travel to those of his future, or what is left of it. Assuming he does not perish or fail in this mission Skies has given him...what then? He's considered joining with the Black Hooves. It would certainly come with many benefits, and it would be the most direct way to end the fighting that only makes it easier for the Hegemony, but...are they really the best path to peace and a united Equestria? This Duke, he has positioned himself as the sole protector of ponykind in the world, as laughable a proposition as that is. New Marelanders aren't Equestrians. The Black Hooves are a New Marelander creation, not an Equestrian one. They're tailored to the interests of a far-off country, far removed from Equestria, and whether the Duke likes it or not they will not accept mandates from a foreign power that is unaccountable to the Equestrian people (probably why they aren't very popular here, now that he thinks on it). Equestria
must be free. Whether that's by working with New Mareland to make both countries stronger or by working alone, it's up to the Black Hooves and the Duke to decide.
He's seen there's still ponies who believe in Equestria, maybe even Harmony as it used to be, before ponies like Comte, before Communism and Socialism, before the never-ending wars of intervention. They're remaining quiet, though, probably waiting for somepony to lead them. As most Equestrians are, they are stronger together, and nopony wants to be the one to step out of line alone.
Something needs to be done though, something more than Silver has talked about in the past.
Where are Harmonists in Baltimare, I wonder? I am not much of leader, but will I have to be one who takes up reigns, and give these ponies hope for future?
