Set six years after season 6, Occupied Equestria presents an alternative history where the Changelings have conquered half of Equestria, while a former Equestrian colony - soured to Princess Twilight's notion of harmony with all creatures because of their encounters with griffins - Invaded and took the other half. In Baltimare and the Equestrian Southeast, the magic of friendship has weakened, as Communists, Changeling infiltrators, Fascists, gangs, and corrupt creepy politicians threaten the city. This role play is based in large part upon the Equestria at War mod for Hearts of Iron 4, and uses D&d 3.5e mechanics.
For those on the train. The train goes along at high speeds through the darkness past farmland, trees, and other trains... until it starts to slow down, and comes to a halt.

>>98351I mean 30 feet, the maximum of ranged weapons for sneak attack bonus. Maybe 25 feet. He is melee range from the two partisans.
[1d20+3 = 9][1d20+7 = 14]>>98352Fine, plan alpha-c
Grapple nearest partisan, using bluff to attempt to deny dex bonus. +7 is the bluff, +3 is the grapple
>>98355>>98354I don’t think Brie won that grapple
“DON’T FUCKING MOVE CHANGELING”
>>98358Hmmm,... the 9 was the attack roll,...
>>98358>>98358I see, that was the melee attack roll. It looks like he landed
>>98361Nah, he might have passed the bluff, but even so he didn't pass the 10 base AC even without dexterity
>>98362Well.... that’s an even worse position to be in
The partisan hits him with the butt of his carbine
[1d20+3 = 19]>>98364Fail. Now the other tries the same
[1d6+1 = 3]>>98365>>98362Brie is hit in the barrel with the butt of a carbine
>>98366Brie uses tumbling (+3 ac) while repositioning himself so that his back is to the wall, and there is one (or more) partisans between him and the rest of his opponents
>>98367Is he trying to tumble past these two to the end of the car, Otis he going to the side of the rail car?
>>98368Past? The end? The side? A diagram would be really useful
>>98369It's something along these lines. Remember that the whole car is divided into sections of seats facing each other, and that there are a decent number of civilian passengers
>>98370Okay, Brie is trying to get behind one of the two partisans, so I'm going with the pink one
>>98371Shouldn’t there be like a roll or something?
>>98372No, tumbling gives him a +3 to AC against whatever they might do. If moving as he is separates him from one of his threatening opponents, they get an attack of opportunity, but that's all on you.
[1d20+3 = 22]>>98373The pink one tries to hit him with her gun
[1d6 = 6]>>98373>>98374I think he got hit anyways
>>98375So he got hit, that wouldn't impede his positioning
Also, laptop (and me and character) is dying so until next time
>>98377But as Brie feels himself throbbing in pain from the rifle butt slammed into his back...
BANG
BANG BANGSee you >>98379Do you not want to come back?
Are Silver and Star kill?
>>98382I think so. My phone is not doing me any favors either with current battery charge, so I'll be forced to scram as well
Well, as Silver lays in his makeshift bed, he ends the day on a bit of a lower note. He has discovered that his only living son is infected with the gays, maybe. The stallion he loved has firmly rejected his advances. And the mare he fancied, it turns out, is actually a bit of a cunt.
As for Dark Star - whatever he was feeling before, whatever his train of thoughts - they are probably better now, with Skies cuddled between his legs
>>98380Roll the dice. There's a better than fair chance that Brie just died.
>>98390Don't you have a high dex score? It should help out in avoiding the shot.
>>98390As a possible side note, maybe you're not the one being shot.
>>98391>>98392Technically speaking, he would have to turn away from the guns in order to engage the opponents immediately to his side. This and the fact that he would be between the partisans and shooters means he is flanked, which denies his dexterity bonus. Since he's trying to get behind the pink pony, he wouldn't have taken a hit to his back, but that's a moot point.
Tl;dr No. Unless all 3 shots missed, or someone else is shooting, the overwhelming probability is that Brie just died.
>>98390>>98393A thought, but not one immediately validated by Brie's experience.
The Pink pony levels her carbine at the mysterious pony or bug that takes the form of one of her comrades, but does not shoot, at least, not yet. When the shots are heard, the green pegasus stallion behind her dives down into a prone position. She remains up for a second longer, then falls to the ground herself, still looking at Brie, but not able to effectively keep a ready stance. She looks more than a little confused and afraid. This is nothing compared to the white earth pony stallion (civilian) in the seat to the left of Brie, who was already afraid, and now falls on his belly and covers his eyes with his hooves. No shattering of glass nor thud accompanies the sound of the gunshots, which sound like they are coming from outside. The Lime green unicorn remains standing, and looks out the window to her left
"Sentries are under attack!"
BangBang Bang>>98387Who knows. But Vanhoover at the beginning of the Great War is not great betting odds [1d20+3 = 12][1d20+7 = 23]>>98394If that's how you want to play itUnwilling to see if he's been shot or how badly, Brie seizes on the pumping adrenaline coursing through his body, turns, and plants both his daggers into the Lime Green officer's face.
not literally going for the face, just posturing >>98395Do you mean he throws them at her? The only pony within easy melee range is the pink mare, although the stallion behind her is a 5 foot step away
>>98396Yes, at her. He prefers to throw knives anyway.
>>98397That will be his next move.
>>98398One hit, one miss. This should count as sneak attack damage as she was looking out the window to her side when Brie threw the knives. He may fall with a move action, as the pink pony tries to pick up her carbine and position it.
[3d6 = 13][1d4+1 = 3]>>98399Also I forgot that uncanny dodge means he doesn't lose his dex bonus even if flanked
>>98400What is his Dex bonus?
The lime unicorn is sure as shit hurt
>>98401+3 dex, and IDFK what the armor suit gives
[1d20+1 = 8]>>98402Well, right now he should roll for initiative on the prone pink partisan pony
[1d20+3 = 23]>>98403Does the disguise effect count as a quick action?
