Welcome back to thread number like 5 or 6 of Occupied Equestria, a My Little Pony RP based heavily upon the Equestria at War mod for Hearts of Iron 4, and using the mechanics of D&D 3.5, and set in South-East Equestria after it has been conquered and split between the Changelings and a foreign fascist power
Onyx is cleaning glasses, Spark has secured a contract to clear a quarry of Zombies for a real estate developer, Silver is eating meat, Ash and Iron are trying to raid what they believe to be a gangster's den, and Dark Star is holding hooves.

>>75764>Wanted to take Vow of Poverty, so just has been following the vow's for the sake of still qualifying if I ever got to.Druids have access to a lot of really cool equiptment though.
>>75767>>75770Was that a Supernatural reference?>>75766Thanks. I'm guessing I'll be getting 6 Cure Light Wounds potions for Silver, then. Leave him with 100 Bits.
>>75769Tbh, Playing an Artificer made me realize how absurdly rich even low-level PCs are. A +1 magic weapon costs as much as a house.
Also, keeping inventory is a hassle.
>>75767Crossbows don't require strength. Those are good.
>>75771Maybe...>>75773But it really seems like they
should, seeing as you have to pull the string back. In any event, a crossbow would need quick-reload to be used effectively by a ranger
>>75774Crossbows are mainly for low-level casters. They'd be useless if they required strength.
They take a move action to reload anyway.
>>75774Also, Quick-reloading is a +1 enhancement.
Besides, a character with 7 strength can lift 70 pounds.
Being able to hold a gun steady through recoil sounds more like a Dex measurement, since it's really more of a matter of precision.
Okay, well NOW the family thing is happening...
I'm still free for a while.
I'm getting up early tomorrow though, so it'll need to be quick.
>>75779I'm losing faith that we'll continue with the RP apart from imagining doing things.
PEOPLE CAN'T MAKE UP THEIR FUCKING MINDS, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
>>75780Ditto, but for more reason than one..Last where we were, both characters had gone to bed.
>>75783It's not you guys, it's the fact that people in my family keep saying they're going to do something and then don't.
>>75782Maybe if I feel funny, I'll try to sneak into Ash's room and sleep there non-sexually. It'll surely make the nuns horrified.
>>75784Roll a 1d20 to see if your family makes up its mind.
Wow, I really did make it through the day without casting any spells, even through I'd prepared to burn everything to the ground.
>>75787
Unless you count the cure light wounds.
>>75784Well, Sister Ash would sleep for as long as she needs to before getting up early for morning prayers, since she still set that time as her designated spell-prep time.
>>75791Iron would wake up a bit later than Ash and search for food like he always do. After that, not much else, just wait outside with his belt, armor and shield equipped except for his non-shield hoof, of course. Maybe he tries to bond with the children by acting a big meanie that the colts will take down, but with the rhetoric present, it's not going to go well.
>has to pick spells again
Are we playing tonight, or should I go to bed?
>>75793I don't know about you but I'm heading to sleep. If GM eventually comes, Iron just equips everything except the gauntlet from his fullplate, eat something and wait for Ash outside the Abbey.
>>75786They already did, but what the hell.
Alright, I want Silver, Spark, Dark Star, and Onyx to shop and do whatever they are going to do for the afternoon, so they can catch up with Ash and Iron in the timeline
>>75802Dark Star goes back into the hotel to look for blue to get her to cash in the gold
>>75777>70 poundsThat's less than even a skinny female pegasus.
>>75805After he leaves the interrogation room, the officer walks outside to tell him to go a certain direction down the hall, herself leaving the room entirely, and closing the door to the room. When Dark Star does not respond or go the direction she tells him, she does not pursue.
The fourth floor is not locked as per usual. Dark Star is likewise able to get into the room without a key, and finds the room basically as he left it a couple hours before. Blue Skies is not in there
>>75806"Maybe i should have asked which room she was in."
he turns to leave the room and go to the certain direction down the hall
>>75807She was directing him to further down the hallway. When Dark Star returns, the hallway is empty
>>75806Quadripedal creatures have a doubled carrying capacity.
>>75808heads to the room she mentioned
>>75809>>>75810It appears that she was indeed referring to a set of Bathrooms at the end of the hall
>>75811Well, it applies to horses and centaurs...
>>75812I'm not doubling your carrying capacity just because the setting happens to use quadrupeds, any more than I am preventing all of you from using weapons or most spells just because none of you have hands
>>75813While the Grand Baltimare Hotel has bathrooms in each of its rooms (Errr... They were built that way. The Blackhooves have done some... renovations), there are a set of bathrooms at the very end of the hallway. When he goes in, he can see that they are functional, and also reasonably fancy, with intricate decorations on the wallpaper, a fake plant here and there, and fancy light fixtures. The bathrooms are empty
>>75816Fine by me. I hadn't intended on carrying very much equiptment anyway.
