RP Thread. Its D&D mixed with shitposting. Classic (flexible) rules, and more autism than you could shake a whole group of autists at, even if you did so autistically. New players area always welcome, whether continuing, one-time, or 'just shitposting'.
Welcome back to the ahem 'Bathhouse', a progressive thread that I'm sure plenty of anons wish would just fucking die already. What, its true,....
This particular beginning is heavily seasoned with enthusiasm and delight. Hot on the heels of killing a bunch of We Wuz, the party almost shattered for several reasons, both in-game and out. In spite of it all, the characters continue on their quest to do,... well,... stuff.
Trumpaladin has been gifted a quest from Lord John Elway. Infernius has been gifted a quest from the Fuhrer, Tracy wants to stab more shit, Torcuil is beginning to get clever with his use of Snek not like that you perv and Thez is thanking her lucky stars that she even exists anymore.

>>48609True. Tracy went towards the source of the sounds, which would mean that she was in the room with Trumpaladin and Torcuil, and thus would be subject to both Holy word and word of Chaos
>>48608She did though.
Has Tracy been able to Sneak Up on the orcs yet?
It's getting close to midnight..
>>48611GM WENT TO SLEEP
And just because something says hibbity hooblah doesn't make it an Orc. Hell, it could have run away and was what sounded the alarm to the undead horde. Also, where is she getting the cover to hide while she's in the open?
And what the hell is this shush?
>>48610What the fuck is this?
I said she went towards the Hibbity hoobla sounds.
Revisionist kike.
>>48614Uh huh. And point to me the location on the map where the hibbitty hooblah sounds were
>>48614Because what the hell is this shush? If you have secrets than I have editing
>>48615>>48610Why would you edit posts to put words in my mouth?
>>48617Because your post was nothing more than an "lol" to be a dick
>>48618Who's lying? You're the one trying to have her go in a different direction than the sounds would have been
>>48619>lyingActing in a fraudulent manner with intent to deceive: You edited that post so it would look like I had said something that I hadn't.
>>48619>nothing more than an "lol" to be a dickI was scoffing at your immature impulse to delet things you don't like.
>>48620No, I was editing it so you'd see it, be pissed off by it, and then delete it like you normally do.
>>48622I only delet things if I find them to not represent what I actually meant.
>>48621And you're making shit up about Tracy's location because you don't want to say what the hell is going on.
>>48624>implying the PCs would be able to tell if Tracy is visibly deafened by the Word of ChaosYou used Holy Word just before that.
>>48625Okay then. You can say that instead
>>48627Instead of saying she's in a different room, given that b1 is almost certainly the direction of the voices as the only other hallway loops around
>>48628She explicitly moved away from the group, so she could Sneak Attack those orcs she head.
Skeletons, zombies or mummies don't go "hibbity hoobla", sand regardless, she is moving in a direction where she doesn't have a sectarian feud on her tail messing-up her stealth, so she can advance the dungeon.
>>48629>>48629>>48629Point to precisely where on this map she was located
>>48629Don't you see? The hibbity hooblah was of guards sounding an alarm, and they responded by bringing in a small horde
>Mummies can't speak hibbity HooblahGM described the rural folk of Washington state as being hibbity hooblah types. How much of an expert in languages are you to say orcs alone speak it?
>>48632GM used it in
>>47832 to refer to rural types. It can mean a lot of things, perhaps not just orcish. And if it is orcs, why would that mean they weren't in the direction of the horde?
>>48629GM makes it very explicit in
>>48486 >>48447 >>48494 that the hooblah sound is coming from the same direction as the "sound of dragging limbs." The hallway with Hooblah is B1, which was the source of the mummies and so forth.
>>48633Thats also how the orcs talked.
>>48631Then why did Infernius encounter it before Tracy, when it was Tracy's turn to move?
When he said "hibbity hooblah types" I think he meant SJWs.
Either way, I had Tracy Sneak off where she couldn't be seen, so she could get a Sneak Attack.
>>48632This.
Anyway, it's past midnight, so I'm turning in.
>>48635Well no shit?
>>48636Deleting your posts, because secrets piss me off, and deleting posts pisses you off. So we'll be even that way
Fuck you
>>48636Night.
>>48633Infernuis still loves you.
>>48637lol
I'll just make my turn again in the morning.
Goodnight.
>>48638Goodnight, m8.
>>48636>>48639For the twentieth time, the sounds were comming from the same direction the horde came. There was no sneak attack possible
>>48641Besides, you can't sneak attack the undead
>>48643Why are you so intent on being a dick in how you play and approach this game?
>>48644>being a dickM8, as far as I can tell, you're the only one who has a problem with any of this. It sounds like a personal problem.
I could ask you why you need to delet/edit posts on an hourly to express your feelings, but I really don't care why.
>>48645What are you trying to accomplish by being in a different room (implausibly) to avoid a word of chaos?
>>48645>only one to have a problem with any of thisBecause you target me in your dickery
>>48646I thought she was in a different room/hall; I still think so. It wouldn't make a difference either way, because the affects wouldn't be noticeable.
>>48647How? Because I thought she was a different room?
To me, it just seems like you're too quick to take things personally.
>>48648Because I don't like to be conspired against or fooled
>>48649>conspired against>fooledIf I intended to do that, I wouldn't be so open about it.
>>48650Then what is it you're being open about? And why did you bring up the effects of the word of chaos then delete repeatedly?
>>48651I felt like I might have been incorrect and then hesitated, twice. Then I looked it up and found out I was correct the first time.
>what is it you're being open about?Literally nothing.
>>48654If you've organized it to where she's killing off my character's humans without his being able to react to it then I'm more pissed than you can imagine
>>48655Dude if he has a secret about his character its okay. People keep secrets from other characters and players to build tension and drama, making the story feel more real and important.
>>48657Tension and drama is one thing
>>48657Acting in a way completely adverse to my character goals without chance to respond is entirely different
>>48660Yea that would be different.
>>48661That's the reason I am concerned. Something like in
>>48656 >>48659This also seems rather suspicious.
>>48663They are your humans too. Men and women of the European stock, followers of Hitler or potential followers of hitler
>>48665There is nothing to be afraid of.
Go to bed.
Check'em. >>48666I don't think you appreciate just how serious the issue is
>what supposed to have happened
Eat dinner
>what happened
Pass out on couch during movie
I have no excuses
>>48670You are forgiven.
I make that mistake all the time.
>>48670Those we're orcs earlier, right?
>>48672No, "Hibbity Hooblah" is just an insert for "random language that is not determinable".
>>48673Ah.
So where's Tracy headed towards?
>>48674I'll figure out in the morning...
>>48676I said there was nothing to be worried about, Anon.
Don't let it bother you. There's absolutely nothing to be afraid of.
*Faggot actually, unironically goes to bed, for real, this time*
>>48592This. It was supposed to be an easily-referenced post where I could step away for a moment, eat, and then resume. I will re-think/assess my strategy
>>48688Needs more Infernuis face.
>>48696That makes much more sense
Think there could be any Unholy weapons in this temple?
>>48702That's the good part about fighting ebil guys: they've usually got some badass equipment
Can non-wizard classes use staffs?
>>48704I noticed Use Magick Device could be applied to spell-trigger items, like staffs and wands. I just didn't know if you had to be a wizard to use it in the first place.
>>48705I'm not finding any prohibitions
>>48706I think only wizards use them because you have to roll a 20 Dc + the spell level if you don't have the spell on your list of spells you can cast.
>>48707Use magick device is actually one of the most useful skills for thieves (rogues and bards). With a 30 DC, you can even emulate another alignment. An ebil rogue can can use a holy weapon without penalty, if they roll high enough.
>>48705Wait, it's only a 20 DC to use a wand/staff. I confused that with the scroll DC.
>>48710Uh... Have you been to sleep at all?
Disrupting Weapon lasts 17 rounds. How many has it been since Infernius cast it? Just 2-3, right?
It's been way the hell longer than 12 to 18 seconds since you searched to prepare to open the door to the room that the rats were in before going to open the door where the golems were before going to the room where the snooze was before having a small horde attack before having a theological argument break out. Way the hell longer than 18 seconds
