Welcome to the latest thread of Occupied Equestria. Set six years after season 6, it presents an alternative history where Chrysalis chose a different approach to her second attack on Equestria. The Changelings have conquered half of Equestria, while an Equestrian splinter colony - soured to Princesses notion of harmony with all creatures thank to their dealing with griffins - Invaded and took the other half. In Baltimare and the Equestruan Southlands, the magic of friendship has weakened, as Communists, Changeling infiltrators, Fascists, gangs, and even ancient necormancers and dark gods threaten the city and the surrounding regions. This role play is based in large part upon the Equestria at War mod for Hearts of Iron 4, and uses D&d 3.5e mechanics.
In the latest episode, we are starting day 4. Ash is finally getting to sleep after dealing with foals that scarified animals to evil gods, Iron is disappointed to find that the only sex he is getting is in his dreams, Dark Star has declined to have sex, Onxy has discovered the joys of socialized medicine, I don’t know what Spark is doing, and Silver has discovered that when you don’t complete a quest, you don’t get paid for it

>>80830>one of the headsOh, now I see what it is.
I was confused to how many creatures there were. Ash would have been too, until she got close enough to illumunate it.
>>80835That should not hit, I assume.
>>80825"lets go see what it is."
>>80838It's a big skelly with many heads it seems.
>>80837Sister Ash has 14 AC (16, defensive fighting). Caleb has 23 (27, guarding). Plus, Luminous Armor imposes a -4 penalty to melee attack rolls against them.
>>80838Large, scales, fur, 3 heads, MLP universe: it's a Chimera.
On second thought....
Onyx's turn
Wait...
I'm obliged to mention that I rolled to confirm that crit before taking into account that undead we're immune to crits...
6 damage...
>>80843>>80842Well okay.
>>80841If my turn comes up, should I even move or do I stay as cover for you?
>>80845If it just attacked you, you shouldn't have to move.
With you in front of her, Sister Ash still has cover.
[1d20+11 = 25]
Onyx attacks the creature.
>>80846Alright, so I don't move. Got it.
>>80851I wonder if that would do it.
Alright, next round of combat. i know that Caleb rolled for this round, but with a 1 on initiative, I am inclined to make him wait until the next round
While I am not sure if Silver and Dark Star could have made it in on time for the second round... Fuck it, roll for initiative, and Caleb, roll again
>>80851It's pretty damaged, but not dead
Alright, new initiative order. Minor note that the skeleton should have been above Ash in the last round
Shimmer
Skeleton
Ash
Asshole
Silver
Onyx
Dark Star
Caleb
Shimmer's turn
>>80859He doesn't mean physically. He means he's beats you on turn order. I am still in front of you as cover, so you should be safe.
>>80859Ash now has not one but 2 meat shields in front of her. She'll be fine
>>80864Depends how much Dex it has.
[1d20+5 = 9]>>80863Touch attack lands. Barely, but it lands. Rolling reflex save
[1d20+7 = 11][1d20+7 = 20]>>80868Not bad. Not bad at all
The skelecton now lashes out at the two fighters before it
This first set is a bite, a gore, and a kick for Iron, who is right in front of it and has been
>>80869Gee, the full plate and tower sheild really make all of the difference.
[1d20+3 = 18]>>80869And a bite and a kick for onyx
>>80871It sure did. Almost pierced it.
[1d4+2 = 6]
[1d8+4 = 11]
Iron escapes Karma again while Onyx gets both a bite and a kick
>>80874Oof, I'm gonna need to heal that.
>>80876Yep. I have some potions for him too if it's not enough.
>>80874Sister Ash telekinetically picks up her greatclub from across the room, in what I assume should count as a move action, still fighting defensively.
She reaches over to Onyx and touches him with Regenerate Light Wounds.
Onyx immediately regains 1 hp, and will continue to do so for another 14 rounds.
Alright, now it's asshole's turn
[1d20 = 18]>>80878Ok, I think I could attack without leaving full cover, so I'll do that.>>80879Iron, determining the skeleton will probably take the hit, puts all possible points of bonus hit chance into his damage
which should be 11 if there's no penalties. If there is,
point it out and the damage will lower and hits with all of his strength.
>>80880*strength with his unarmored hoof.
>>80880The max power attack can add to damage is 5. So only 5 damage from power attack, plus strength, plus weapon specialization. Unarmed is not a two handed weapon. But still, hit, and roll damage
[1d3+12 = 14]>>80882Ok, I'll keep that in mind. Rolling
