This RPG is set in the land of Equestria after it has been conquered and split between the Changelings and a foriegn fascist nation. It is based in large part on the Equestria at War mod for Hearts of Iron 4, and uses D&D 3.5 mechanics
4 of the group have taken a job to clear a site of a future real estate development of undead. They seem to have stumbled upon a centuries old evil long forgotten by Equestria. Meanwhile, Ash has discovered foals from the order of Saint Prancis orphanage practicing dark magic and sacrifices in the woods, while Iron is having not-so-pleasant dreams

>>78179Right, that child, too. Still, Cauldron could help with that third one.
>>78179>>78175REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEUNITE WITH THE PARTY
>>78181B-but think of the children.
>>78180I promised Ollie I'd come back for him. I don't want to break that promise. It was a shame I wasn't able to find him that night.
>>78182i would if i knew about it
>>78173You cast it like twice trying to find a stack of bounded papers
>>78175The suspicious adoption is in
Manehattan, and talking to each made mare probably wouldn't be
that complicated
>>78178>arguing in a location without Blue Skies to retortInteresting if underhanded tactic
>>78178"Thank you, we rely on the generosity of practitioners"
>>78176"Come again?"
>>78185So, is the first adopted child is basically impossible, if not time consuming?
>>78185I only cast it once. It lasts 5 minutes.
>>78185"im not trying to be disrespectful. but it would make sense that since changeling feed off of love. and since they have her as a prisoner that they would use her as a free love generator."
>>78185Hey, if she's going to insult his core religious beliefs, talk smack about his former leader, and belittle his Motherland...Silver nods, his memories going back to the Cathedrals of Severyana and St. Petershoof from before the Reds came. "It is shame, to see such wonderful, Holy place become yet another casualty of war..." He sighs.
>>78188"They have enough ponies captured, already, without needing to rely off of love she receives from Her ponies. Meanwhile, even in clutches of bugs, She remains symbol of hope for all Equestrians in otherwise hopeless situation. We need Her, and belief in Her, far more than Changelings need her for their food."
>>78189"How Many Ponies Do you think worship and love celestia?"
>>78188"That would... be more than a little concerning"
>>78189Okay, seriously, why are you not playing a Paladin? If you were playing a paladin, you'd have special spells against teh undead, you yourself could cure diseases like ghoul fever, you could do mundane healing and fill the badly needed role of a healer. You said you didn't want to because you didn't want to be locked into a certain position and wanted to be 'true nuetral' or something. But Silver has not been true nuetral. He's been a harmonist and it is showing in how the character interacts. So why not be a harmonist Paladin. It's like Iron being a Barbarian but refusing to play a Barbarian class...From outside:
"IT'S ONE FUCKING WINDOW"
>>78191"Again Father im not trying to be disrespectful but. if they continue getting the love from her...well it wouldnt be good. and im not trying to get you to question your faith. im just worried about what the changlings will do with it."
>>78190"I do not know how many ponies live in Equestria, especially after war. But it was very common, almost universal, before Great War for all Equestrians to at least pay homage to Her, even if they did not visit places like this regularly."
>>78191Like I said, I'm new. Fighter just seemed like an easy class to try to learn the mechanics of the game, before diving head-first into all of the spells and such other stuff that I have no clue how to do. If I knew more about playing, yes, I would probably play Paladin, because that kind of play style seems like it would suit me. Unfortunately, being new, I've managed to turn an otherwise supposedly decent character into a train wreck, so I don't think I'll get the chance to.As for Silver being more Lawful Good than True Neutral, I'd also chalk that up to me being new and not fully understanding how to match his actions and words with his alignment. Sorry, I know I suck at this.Silver rolls his eyes. Blue just doesn't understand what it means to him, and to those Equestrians like him.
>>78194"Those who close their minds to reason, facts and logic, shall fall prey to reality...."
>>78193He looks at him, and then looks more questionably.
"I best be gettin' back to my studies. But remember who healed you"
>>78196Oh please. There is so much worse >>78197"I will Father. It was Good Seeing you Again. oh and thanks for feeding me all those years ago."
>>78197*looks at Iron*He nods. "Thank you again, Father. I wish you all best. May Her light shine forever upon you."
>>78199He has a grin on his face
"So I
had seen you before. Tell me. How is your brother now?"
>>78203See this as a thing to drop if you seek this path.
>>78202 >>78192Barbarian could be good if you wanted to Prestige class.
Fighters tend to multiclass a lot.
>>78200"You are welcome, my foal. Come back any time you are indeed of spiritual help"
>>78201"uh. im not exactly sure Father. he fought in the war and he never came home."
Dark Star looks Down and the Father can see tears
"i think the church has a leak."
>>78205There's also a martial Artist class in d20 Modern that increases unarmed damage but still gives bonus feats.
http://www.d20resources.com/modern.d20.srd/classes/advanced/martial.artist.php >>78207He places a hoof on Dark Star, and pats him
"He came home. He came home indeed, and never doubt it"
>>78209>>78205Remember not to multipost on yourself unless it's very important. Breathe and try not to do that any longer.
>>78208Cows are sentient.L in the MLP universe.
I was going to summon a Bison as a companion, but I didn't because I considered that Buffalo's were probably also a race.
>>78211Noted.
>>78210"I hope Hes in a better place. Could We pray for him Father?"
>>78214So are niggers.
That doesn't make them okay to eat.
>>78206With that, Silver steps out of the Cathedral, confident that Dark Star will be okay. He doesn't pay much attention to Blue as he passes her, instead deciding to step onto the sidewalk, turn around to look at the Cathedral, and light himself up a cigarette.
>>78215Niggers are filthy though.
>>78213"Oh course, my foal"
He takes Dark Star's hoof, closes his eyes, and recites the following
"Celestia our eternal guardian,
Your light brings us to birth,
Your teachings guides our lives,
and under your light we return to dust.
Princess, those who die still live in Your presence,
their lives change but do not end.
I pray in hope for my family and my friends,
and for all the dead known to You alone.
In company with Luna,
Who likewise forever lives,
may they rejoice in Your heavens,
where all our tears are wiped away.
Unite us together again in one herd,
to sing Your praise forever and ever."
>>78216Blue skies: "No smoking within 15 feet of the building. Have some respect"
>>78217So are cows. They literally cause greenhouse effect by farting so much. What's the difference?
>>78215Buffalos are basically Prairie niggers. They can still talk, and they're intelligent.
Cows also talk, and are still sapient, if not a bit stupid in comparison to ponies.
Anything that talks has an intelligence score of at least 3, and doesn't qualify as an animal. Creatures with at least 3 int can advance as PC/NPC classes too.
>>78217I wouldn't eat them even if they were clean.
Food doesn't talk. If something talks it isn't food.
>>78218He doesn't really want to keep track of how far away from the Cathedral he is, and he thinks he's far enough away already to be respectful, anyways. He's more concerned with just looking at the gorgeous building. It's...soothing, really. In an unfamiliar city, with unfamiliar experiences, and unfamiliar ponies, this Cathedral is the one familiar thing he's encountered thus far. It lets him stay grounded in the reality he's in without loosing his mind, and he's very much thankful for its existence. "Did you ever get chance to see Temple of Light in St. Petershoof, Blue?"
>>78218"AMare. thank you Father. i feel better now. also i would like to make a Donation to the church."
Dark Star Hoofs Father Maren a 25 bit note and his old revolver
"i know you might object to it. but you could get some bits for this revolver father. i would have donated more but im a bit broke for right now."
>>78219Cows Don't Try to Rape White women.
>>78222That has nothing to do with whether or not we eat them.
Cows are sapient in FiM. They speak; they have self awareness; they give each other names. They're effectively people.
You could argue that they're less intelligent, but Half-orcs and Wood Elves are too: that doesn't make them okay to eat.
>>78223> that doesn't make them okay to eat.ROOD i love Ork steaks with a side of Hal Elf
>>78221the building does not have a light on it to illuminate its features, although he can tell that it has a solar pattern on its face engraves into the granite, and a number of engravings of ponies doing various acts in a granite frieze that adorns the top of the structure. Again, these are difficult to see under the lighting conditions, although far from impossible because the whole facade is white granite
"No, Steel Stallion came in at around the time I was born. Even if he hadn't, it was a very long ocean voyage away"
>>78222"An old man like he shan't be taking any guns for any purpose. Keep it, and hope its serves you better than it did today. But we can take your bits. Thank you, my foal"
It seems I will have to phonepost for the rest of the day. Expect slow response time.
>>78225What kind of race were you playing? Even Orcs won't eat other orcs. Orcs only eat other PC races sometimes because they're often Chaotic Evil and savages to boot.
A Lawful creature wouldn't break a strong taboo like that, and a good creature wouldn't eat other sapient races. A creature that eats other sapient races is neutral, [i]at best.
