In the far-off, northern island of Mended Horn, the party there has learned that they face an enemy they have dubbed "The Traveller." They have decided to go to an old, abandoned village there in hopes of rescuing some communist sailors.
In Baltimare, Dark Star tries to get things in order, while Virgin Flame looks for her old friend.

No immediate threats close by, at least, that can be seen
>>185789Nothing stands out, besides some old stones, gravel, a couple high plants, grass, and dirt.

"What have they told you, Silver?"
>>185800Am curious, when did she exhaust the search of the village?
Apologies, just looking to continuity. Forget I said anythin
>>185800Silver looks over to Posey. "Not much new. It seems these tin foil hats they have made allow them to resist Traveler's influence. Right now I am proposing plan to use anti aircraft guns on deck of Kostroma to blow Traveler to smithereens."
>>185804"The journals of a dead Equestrian doctor suggested that the foil delays influence, but doesn't prevent it entirely. We might find ourselves at a disadvantage of any of us falls asleep on this island."
She pauses
"The traveller will undoubtedly be surrounded by many of its thralls. Are you prepared to blow them up as well?"
"In all honesty, I do not believe that will be enough to kill a creature that was able to survive impact from atmospheric heights. Then again, I cannot be sure my plan to rot it from the inside out with blackweave is any better... At least your plan saves us the risk of having to fight through the thralls."
Brie takes a deep sigh to the attempted compartmentalisation
"I am a bat, I can hear you."
>>185805Silver: "Indeed, it means less risk to us, and less risk of them losing any more of their comrades. As for if it will be enough...I have found that pumping enough bullets into most anything is enough to kill it. And these guns fire very large bullets."
>>185807>What is damage reduction"We will have to see it for ourselves. Nevertheless, we will have to look through the wreckage to confirm the destruction of the Traveller, and if it remains intact I will proceed to rot it with my magic."
>>185796Posey can find, either in this building or elsewhere
A buckle
Multiple ceramic pots, mostly broken
Glassware
Several coins
A single golden ring (behind a lose stone)
>>185809>PotsAny of the intact pots look valuable?
>GlasswareWhat kind?
>Several coinsYay, treasure. We can split those evenly.
>A single golden ring"A ring, in a pony village? I wonder what this one was for?"
Posey examines the ring, checking for magic qualities.

>>185812What's the question?
>>185811A few cups, plates, and pots. Most are broken, but a couple are intact.
The ring seems to be mundane, evidently contains a symbol, presumably a signet, and is probably very expensive for this evidently poor village.
>>185814Brie attempted to get a response from Posey about these 2 potion vials. No matter
>>185814>A few cups, plates, and pots. The ring and the coins can go into the bag, to be divided at the end of the mission.
Does the Signet look familiar?

>>185813Though more could be said, the basics is this
Past a half circular bay, and up a hillside, is a large, green hill that tapers down as it comes to a tip. And around the tip, some ways above the water, is a white painted light house. It isn't incredibly tall, and Brie can't see the base, as it is partly on the other side of the hill.
>>185818>Вы все думали, что он мертв, когда подняли его, но вы ошибались. Вы также можете ошибаться относительно его способности двигаться. Мы можем использовать это в своих интересах. "Как это может быть хорошо?" -

[1d20+3 = (4+3) = 7]Knowledge (Arcana):
[1d20+7 = (11+7) = 18]Later, when talking to Silver, he says,
"It's a small miracle any ponies have survived from this ship at all, but they don't look like they will last much longer if we don't act immediately. This entity has murdered eighty ponies in cold blood, and as it cannot be brought to trial we must end it ourselves. It exudes a gas with unknown effects which means we should locate masks if the ship has them. I have these photographs and documents that have some helpful information.">>185812Dust should look at them.
>>185829>Dust should look at them.Posey could probably tell if they're healing potions (if a drop burns her tongue, it's a healing potion), but otherwise she has no means to identify them.
>>185834Brie lowers, to offer the potions to Posey (who he is cautious of, but wanting to avoid any unpleasantries)
"I thought they might be poisons, but on examination they may be potions of some sort," he holds them out for the taking. "I havent been given any sort of description, so Moon knows what they might be."
There's potions? Oh shit.
>>185834>>185835Dust looks over the pony's shoulders to see the potions and attempts to identify.

>>185836>Identifying Potions>In addition to the standard methods of identification, PCs can sample from each container they find to attempt to determine the nature of the liquid inside. An experienced character learns to identify potions by memory—for example, the last time she tasted a liquid that reminded her of almonds, it turned out to be a potion of cure moderate wounds. If we've had these potions before, we should be able to recognize them.
3.5e Wealth By Level absurdly subtracts the value of all of the consumables the character is assumed to have used from their starting equipment (Pathfinder corrects this), so any lvl 5 hero is assumed to have ingested a wide variety of options.
Posey can tell if a potion is a cure potion, because cure potions burn her tongue.
>>185836Examining the two vials, Dust can tell immediately that it is filled with healing potion. More specifically, Heal Moderate Wounds
>According to the SRD, Cure Moderate Wounds tastes like almonds>Dust got an 11 on alchemy>It could be Cyanide or a Potion of Poison (Cyanide tastes like almonds)>>185845Posey puts a drop of each vial on her tongue, to see if it burns her, to make sure the potion is genuine and not poison.
>>185847Continuity is a thing. Posey hasnt taken the vials, nor has Dust. Brie still has the vials.
"You're welcome to them, healing isn't my specialty," Brie says again offering the potions to either Posey or Dust, or Garv, Silver, and Kira.
