In the far-off, northern island of Mended Horn, the party there has learned that they face an enemy they have dubbed "The Traveller." They have decided to go to an old, abandoned village there in hopes of rescuing some communist sailors.
In Baltimare, Dark Star tries to get things in order, while Virgin Flame looks for her old friend.

The Abomination turns, and throws a stone at Defiant Dust
[1d20+5 = (2+5) = 7][1d8+6 = (6+6) = 12]From within, a shot is fired at the abomination
[1d20 = 13][2d8 = 3]Dust's turn
>>185072And... It doesn't quite make it
>>185073Ha! Missed!
The stone goes wide over Dust, hitting the ground behind him. This only invigorates him to speed up a little more, and swing his flail full tilt into one of the abomination's legs as he runs at it.
Attack
[1d20+9 = (19+9) = 28]Damage
[1d10+6 = (7+6) = 13] >>185074Oh! Oh! 19 is a crit for a heavy flail! Rolling to confirm!
[1d20+6 = (20+6) = 26] >>185075You should get a x3 for that lucky double-crit!
The sailor Petrushka charges at, and attacks Silver
[1d20+1 = (12+1) = 13][1d3+1 = (3+1) = 4]The Marine Petruska attacks Brie
[1d20+1 = (17+1) = 18][2d8 = 7]Kira's turn
>>185074>>185075https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UcZzlPGnKdUDust hit's it with his flail in the upper thigh, and hears a crack. At first, it is the sound of shattering bone, but then it sounds like something closer to brick.
"
RAAHH" it cries, before a crack creeps up its hide, it's eyes become more dead looking than before, and with the breeze, it evaporates.
>>185079Silver ducks out of the way of the incoming punch.
Kira, meanwhile, goes stab-stab on the demon in front of her.
[1d20+10 = (14+10) = 24][1d8+3 = (3+3) = 6][1d20+5 = (2+5) = 7][1d8+3 = (7+3) = 10] >>185081Don't forget that Silver gets an attack of opportunity!
>>185079Dust seems pleased with his work, giving a snort as he frantically turns his head to the other enemies.
Soon....
>>185081The first stab pierces it.
But it continues, howling, then biting at Kira
[1d20+10 = (15+10) = 25][2d8+5 = (9+5) = 14]It thrashes at Mala with its quills
[1d20+5 = (12+5) = 17][1d6+2 = (2+2) = 4][1d20+5 = (8+5) = 13][1d6+2 = (3+2) = 5][1d20+5 = (8+5) = 13][1d6+2 = (5+2) = 7] >>185082>>185079Does he? Or does the sailor have Improved Unarmed Strike?
>>185084>giving a snortRoll Constitution to snort the abominations evaporated remains like a line of cocaine to gain its power.
Skipped Mala
Mala shoots at the Starfish with his shotgun

[2d8 = 13]
[1d20+6 = (6+6) = 12]
[2d8 = 12]
I think it's Posey's turn now.
She draws her sword as part of a charge and flanks the demon with Kira
[1d20+10 = (19+10) = 29]
[1d8+6 = (7+6) = 13]
Her Dreads assist, but they take a penalty for shooting into a melee
[1d20+1 = (20+1) = 21]
[2d8 = 4]
[1d20+1 = (19+1) = 20]
[2d8 = 2]
>>185090If that's the case, then Silver tries to smack the sailor in the head with the butt of his rifle for some nonlethal damage.
[1d20+7 = (18+7) = 25]I don't know how much damage the butt of a rifle would do.
Kira screams in pain as the demon bites down and tears a chunk out of the noodle.
>>185091Ooh! Rolling for Posey's confirmation
[1d20+10 = (3+10) = 13]And the dread (if Posey's attack kills it, redirect to the Starfish)
[1d20+1 = (12+1) = 13] Only the Petrushkas remain
>>1850921d4+strength
>>185091Posey takes out her sword and jams it right into the back of the demon between its quills. It rears it head upward, lets out an even more unnatural howl, and then fire spreads across it's body. The creature is consumed, and vanishes in smoke.
The starfish squirms at is shot once, then twice, and then in a shudder, rips apart into black mist
It should be Silver's turn now
>>185096[1d4+3 = (2+3) = 5]Assuming that's not nearly enough to knock him out, Silver unsheathes his sword to pummel the sailor over the head with its pommel.
[1d20+12 = (19+12) = 31][2d6+8 = (8+8) = 16] >>185099Silver slams his pommel overs the Sailor's head, and knocks him cold out
Mala crosses over the fence
Only the lone marine remains.
Brie's turn
>>185096>quills>unnatural howlOh, a Howler. Glad I got it before it could damage our ability scores.
>>185101Im gonna need a full round action just to catch up
>>185096D20 Modern says that a rifle butt does 1d6 damage, but your call. A pistol whip would do 1d4, better than an untrained punch but worse than a monk's punch (and maybe the same as a pony hoof).
>>185103waves >>185105Or 1d6. Sure.
It's not going to make the sailor any less unconscious
>>185106Brie is going to waive his turn, taking the opportunity to.meta emphasize that his player ISNT KIDDING about wanting as precise an idea of when play is possible, imslmnia being a significant factor
Cavaliere emerges out of concealment, holsters his gun and strides up to the remaining sailor (risking an attack of opportunity). If the sailor is within 30 feet he attacks with a punch.
[1d20+4 = (8+4) = 12]
Damage:
[1d6 = 5]
>>185109If you treat that as a full-round charge instead, you could avoid attack of opportunity and get +2 to your attack roll.
Dust's turn
>>185109I believe that hits
The survivors yell something
>>185112What language are they yelling in?
>>185111There's a short wall and house in the way. I couldn't treat that as a charge.
>>185114Severyanan, most likely.
Though he's a bit occupied fighting hoof with claw, Cavaliere asks the nearby unicorn,
"Something important, Silver?" I'm sorry, but it's my turn to pass out now.
Posey does not have reliable nonlethal tactics, so she'll just take the total defense action next round.
Posey will attempt to charm the survivors with her gaze as soon as she makes eye contact with them.
If you would like to interrogate the survivors, you can use Posey for your ends. Her intimidate is +17.
Армейские жеребцы, вы здесь, чтобы спасти нас? - "Stallions of the Army, are you here to rescue us?"
"У вас черный каблук?" - "Are you with Black Heel?"
Is there any player online to finish the last enemy?
>>185124The injured Kira goes over to last remaining pony to attempt a grapple.
Touch Attack:
[1d20+9 = (6+9) = 15]Grapple:
[1d20+13 = (9+13) = 22] The Marine tries to hit Cavaliere with the butt of his rifle
[1d20+1 = (18+1) = 19]

But is grabbed or bitten by Kira
Opposed Grapple
[1d20+4 = (2+4) = 6]
>>185127Kira: "...owie, this really hurts...please go to sleep, Mr. Pony!"
Kira constricts the pony, hoping to make him pass out without hurting him.
>>185131Hmmmmm...is this the Traveler speaking through him? Or is the pony coming to?
All enemies are down; combat is over
>>185133Sounds more like the pony
>>185127Cavaliere is hit squarely in the chest by the rifle, causing him to wince.
Did the attack go through before he was grappled, or was it cancelled? >>185134Silver motions for Kira to stop, as he comes over to the pony in her coils. She stops constricting him for the moment, but keeps him in her grasp.
Silver: "Ты вернулся к нам, солдат? Как тебя зовут?"
The griffon looks at Kira as he pulls his remaining coil of rope from his saddlebag. "Are you okay, Miss?" he asks, before hogtying the unconscious sailor and blinding/deafening him with cloth. He takes 10 for a modified 19.
How much rope does it take to tie up a medium character? I've lost track of how many ponies have been tied up but I want to know so I can adjust my weight score.
>>185139The 60' of rope Kira gave Brie is up for grabs
>>185138His mane is dishevled and brown underneath a blue cap, and his coat is light red underneath his green uniform. He simply mumbles gibberish, unable or unwilling to focus his golden eyes on anything and flailing his legs in fear.
He does not like the snake
>>185135The marine had a higher initiative order >>185139Kira, while holding a profusely bleeding bite wound, says to Cavaliere, "...owie..."
>>185141Hmm...since Posey's player has gone to bed, can we use Posey the character to tell if he's still under the Traveler's influence?
>>185142The griffon, without a second thought, retrieves the tiny vial Dust had given him
moderate cure wounds potion and with his claw holds it up to the lamia.
"Drinking this should clot the bleeding and ease your pain for now."
