In the far-off, northern island of Mended Horn, the party there has learned that they face an enemy they have dubbed "The Traveller." They have decided to go to an old, abandoned village there in hopes of rescuing some communist sailors.
In Baltimare, Dark Star tries to get things in order, while Virgin Flame looks for her old friend.

>>185902"As long as I am here, you will be allowed here. I don't see them negotiating with any changelings after our ordeal."
>>185903"Are you the 'Wolf Whisperer'?" She smiles as she asks that, then returns to a serious expression. "Do they have some special history with the Changelings?"
>>185904Spark also smiles at the suggestion.
"They have tried to stay out of their way, but they are coming to see that hopes of any beneficial relations are pointless. They will simply play dumb if changelings poke around."
>>185905"You seem to think that trying to go to the border now is inadvisable. Should I try to stay here?" She asks
>>185906"At least rest a bit. You have been through a bit to get here. Plus, maybe the wolves have a better route to take to get to your friend. It can't hurt to find out."
>>185907"Perhaps, but do the wolves feel the same way?" She asks
>>185908"We can always find out. It isn't like they will bite for asking."
Brie sees/hears all of this and is flabbergasted
>>185910Pressing her lips together in a mild scrunch
"You say that, but they
are literal wolves. They don't have the best history with ponies..."
>>185910Does Brie have any comment?
>>185911"I don't mean to brag, but I did help get them through changeling territory to give their chief the best shot at staying alive currently available to us. They owe us a little rest at least."
>>185912No, just taking it all in
>>185913She looks down towards the snowy ground, and her ears move forward as well. She looks back up a few seconds later.
“Well then, I think they would listen to you, and do you a favor. I’ll stay here. It’s much better than Whinnyapolis, anyways.”
>>185915"Sounds like a plan."
Spark motions her to follow him as he heads into the village.
>>185898Silver: "В чем дело?" -
"What's the matter?">>185898Kira: "Really? I guess I've never asked an animal before what their name is...what would you like to be called?"
>>185912Tenchnically speaking, Brie can only understand Kira in all this
>>185924Silver shrugs. "Не знаю, я никогда не пробовал. Посмотри на это с такой стороны, если это сработает, то оно того стоило, а если нет... это будет далеко не самое худшее, что с тобой случится." -
"I don't know, I've never tried it. Look at it this way, if it works, it was worth it, and if it doesn't... it won't be the worst thing that happens to you.">>185924Kira: "Hmmmm...oh! What about 'Hazel'? That's a pretty name. Or 'Poppy'?"
>>185922It seems as though Brie is witnessing a Dr. Dolittle scenario. Either that, or Kira has well and truly lost her mind.
>>185927He definitely looks hesitant
>>185927>"Ooh, that could work. Uh... what's a hazel? Or a poppy?">>185928The mouse Kira is speaking to in a full conversation will occasionally reply with a "tchtch" or a "
squeak"
>>185929Half smiling at the purple pony, Silver says, "Плюс ко всему, он сохранит вашу голову в тепле." -
"Plus, it will keep your head warm.">>185929Kira: "Well, hazel is a type of tree that grows nuts, and poppies are a kind of flower."
Brie lights his last cigarette
Subtext, he's in "survival" mode from here out
>>185889>It seems like maybe it could be getting to you."I have already successfully rebuked its advances. It will not be able to enter my mind for some time now."
Probably good to move along the action
>>185931>"Oh! I like nuts!">>185931 "Uh..." >>185939"Are you... sure? Because it kind of looks like it may be getting to you."
>>185942Once we get everyone gathered, sure.
Silver: "Просто пытаюсь заставить вас почувствовать себя лучше." -
"Just trying to make you feel better.">>185942Kira smiles at the mouse. "Hazel it is! Does that sound good to you?"
>>185942I am present, but I might be occupied doing Christmas stuff
Brie clears his throat louder than necessary to clear mucous.
Okay, but do the party members know what they will do next? I have a couple things that could just happen while they are there, but I want to know if there are plans about what to do next
>>185948I thought we were going wards the ship.
>>185949There was alot of talk about "The Lighthouse", whichnis right THERE (pointing) so one assumes thats where we're going
>>185950>>185949>>185948Killing the Traveler should take top priority over everything else. Once he's dead, the island should be significantly safer and we'll be free to explore and complete our main objective.
>>185951Any more questions for the survivors?
>>185951Sure, that's something to do. Let's go fight it
>>185954You have the floor, ask away. We're waiting on your resolution here.
The fog has largely blown away. As the party are on the top of a smaller hill, they have a clear (enough) view out to the hills in the north east, south east, and west, and to the ocean both north and south, if only they look.
>>185948Okay, last two questions since people are getting impatient, and I'm just gonna type them out without them being translated: are there any secret way onto or off of the ship, and can the commies guide the party to the ship?
>>185962Wait, so which ship is the Traveller in?
>>185957>>185958Ooc, I want to locate/attempt to secure the airship. On the one hand its probably the shatterpoint for this whole mission, and at the very least we might finagle a long rest out of it.
IC Brie wants to kill all the things now, he doesn't like not understanding the nature of the evil he is facing. He was quite content with managing other psychopaths, vested groups, interests, etc.and will be very pleased to see his/a blade - having been stabbed through the heart of this Traveler - see come to a shuddering halt.
What? You think I have better things to do today? Lol, have some lewd bats >>185951>>185962Cavaliere looks to see the features of both ships, trying to single out the freighter.
[1d20+7 = (13+7) = 20] >>185981>>185982Brie Looks to Cavaliere and Rosey, and on to Defiant, Silver, and Kubana. In a blink of an eye, he has his fancy blades in hoof, and the next his hooves are empty. His eagerness could not be more apparent.
"Well, I'm CERTAINLY not going to stand here like an idiot holding out a potion for anypony to take at leisure for 2 whole days,..." he mutters, putting the potions away.
Posey takes one of the cure moderate potions, if nopony else does.
"Unless you have a case to make as to what you intend with the potion. I'm not trying to be dismissive or confrontational, just wondering what you have in mind, if anything."
>>185987Silver can take the potion.
