In the far-off, northern island of Mended Horn, the party there has learned that they face an enemy they have dubbed "The Traveller." They have decided to go to an old, abandoned village there in hopes of rescuing some communist sailors.
In Baltimare, Dark Star tries to get things in order, while Virgin Flame looks for her old friend.

>>185732Brie goes apeshit with the camera. How many puctures we got left?
I assume we're retaining all the notes and journals and documents?
"I came into this mission expecting a Stalliongradii or other force working in tandem with, attempting some military espionage. It seemed cut and dry. But this,... this is increasingly beyond my ability to comprehend, OTHER than that we need to kill it, and fast," he finishes, and with a DC [1d20+5 = (14+5) = 19] spot check, one might detect him mutter the phrase "if we even CAN kill it"
Addendum:
The village has a number of rectangular ruins, including a larger one, along its lone path. There is a low wall circling the whole set of ruins some distance from it
>>185731 "Да, Чернобог. Вы тоже с этим сталкивались? Комиссар обратился к военным с просьбой прийти на помощь. Убейте его, если это действительно возможно." -
"Yes, Chernobog. You have encountered it as well? The Commissar has asked the military to come help. Kill it if indeed it can be." >>185733Noted.
>>185731I didn't realize Rangers had wild empathy
>"Yes, there are strange things out there. And a weird, foreign, smell. What are you doing here, pony? There have not been ponies here before today.">>185738There were 26 to begin with.
>>185736Nothing besides remains.
>>185742>26 to begin withOkay. One of the suicide pony, to corroborate the briefcase.
Any other suggestions?
>>185742>The village has a number of rectangular ruins, including a larger one, along its lone path. There is a low wall circling the whole set of ruins some distance from itAre there any other structures of interest, besides the church?
>>185741Obligatory
[1d20+7 = (3+7) = 10]>>185742>I didn't realize Rangers had wild empathyThey have it. Cavaliere has that feat too.
What was in Evening Damp's photographs?
>>185745Eh, Im gonna structure my easter eggs so players can know even if characters dont ^_~
>>185745>Rangers had wild empathyThey can trade it for at-will Speak With Animals, which is better, imo.
>>185742Silver: "Он говорил о себе посредством Морского Камня. Мы узнали больше, просматривая записки, которые были у других при себе. Можете ли вы рассказать нам что-нибудь еще об этой вещи, что могло бы нам помочь?"
>>185742Eeyup, Rangers actually get it at 1st level. This is just the first time I've gotten the chance to use it.
Kira: "A bunch of ponies came here from across the sea, and they brought something really, really bad with them."
>>185743Reminder, this comes after taking at least 1 Staryu pic, and one ettin-thing pic. If that puts us at 23, thats okay
There is one ruin that is larger than others.
Behind this structure are a number of what seem to be old graves, and holes dug into the ground
>>185749>"Like what? Like a hawk? Or a, or a c-cat?!"The mouse trembles in fear.
>>185752I don't believe that action was ever declared
>>185753It was not declared
The proposed staryu pic and ettin oic would be said to occur while I was passed the fuck out and GM was opeating Brie who had the camera.
The idea is precipitated on the notion that GM would have known to have Brie take a choice oic or two in advance of the surprise round. This has not been properly adjudicated.
>>185754If decided that Brie was still too excitable to have the presence of mind, I will accept that. But, in the interest of appealing to several proclivities beyond my own, I argue this point. With respect
>>185753>I don't believe that action was ever declaredHis player wasn't present during the encounter, but he had the camera and was therefore the only one who could have done it.
>Behind this structure are a number of what seem to be old graves, and holes dug into the ground"~Ooh! A graveyard!"
Posey prances towards the graveyard
>>185757Some small rectangular, and especially sun shaped stones remain over graves. Most of these are weathered, and include letters that Posey seen in modern ponish. Several graves are obviously disturbed.
>>185753Kira: "Like all of those put together and worse, little guy. Me and my friends are trying to stop it. I know it's a lot, but is there anything you know that could help us?"
>>185755Silver: "Да, шапочки из фольги. Вы заметили какие-нибудь слабые места на нем? Рот, например? Была ли у вас на «Костроме» какая-либо техника, способная пробить шкуру зверя?"
Evening Damp's photographs were never described.
I will be inactive for the rest of today. Cavaliere will present his findings and the untranslated documents to Silver, and follow the party around to help with anything around.
>>185758>Several graves are obviously disturbed."Hmmm, somepony may have had some fun here."
Posey looks closer
On the camera front, Im really gonna micromanage this:
1 shot of the suicide doctor pone
1 shot of the crazy-stilts-ettin thing (cuz surprise)
1 shot of one of the starfish bitches
Would seem to be at 23/26
Or, 25/26 with the suicide picture. Either way, we have documents to very heavily reinforce the spoop that will be WELL documented (at the expense of immediate murder e,_,e) murder, so any pics not previously taken will hopefully be sufficiently validated (and maybe a bureaucrat ALSO gets stabbed)
Please note there are foreign language notes as well
>>185759>Да, шапочки из фольги. Вы заметили какие-нибудь слабые места на нем? Рот, например? Была ли у вас на «Костроме» какая-либо техника, способная пробить шкуру зверя? "Нет, мне сказали, что он мстит вам, когда вы пытаетесь его проткнуть. Пока ничего не произошло." - [color #FD7] "No, I am told that it retaliates when you try to pierce it. Nothing has yet."

>>185761Dug up. No rectangular cuts that would imply a square shovel, but otherwise it's hard to say much about how the holes were dug. It most likely would have gone down to the level of a buried body.
>>185759>"... Well, when you can feel the static, something bad is going to happen."There's definitely room for a mouse in Kira
>>185764Silver: "Какое оружие вы взяли с собой на эту миссию? Даже если ничто из того, что вы принесли, не может пробить его шкуру, возможно, мы все равно сможем попытаться засунуть ему в глотку гранату."

Rolling religion to identify any potential ghoul or other corpse-eater activity.

I guess I'll do my part and roll Arcana

If Kira can persuade the mouse to come onto her hoof, Kira can pick her up, left her to her face,
then shove her into her mouth give her scritches behind the ears
>>185769I'mma say no for the moment
>>185772Soon
>>185774Then I will be lurking, if anypony needs me
>>185774Okay then. I guess we're done with the graveyard.
Posey moves towards the large, rectangular structure.
>>185774Wild Empathy: "Would you like some nice scritches, little friend?"
[1d20+9 = (6+9) = 15] >>185778>"Scritches? What are scritches? Maybe?"The mouse comes out of its hole
>>185779While the little friend comes out of the hole, Kira reaches over with a friendly hoof and...
scritch scritch scritch...gives him some gentle scritches on the top of his head.
>>185775Nothing discouraging, theres lots of skills hes good at, but his motivated interests are spoken for so will need impetus to.check on
>>185774What is in the remaining large, rectangular structure?
>>185782Posey goes over to this to see that there is a single interior wall with a doorway, meaning that 80% of the area is a single, big room with a big opening for a door (the frame has since collapsed in on itself), the floor of this room is fairly rocky. The other room is maybe 20%, and has a stone floor. The outer walls are mostly preserved, and there is even a corner in the smaller room where a tiny portion of the roof remains.
>>185780Tell me,
Does Kira pick up the mouse, or does she scritch it on the ground?
The mouse twitches its black eyes, which look up towards the vastly larger Kira
>>185772>>185781Brie is above the center ridgeline of the hill that separates the north bay and the south bay. From this spot, he can see almost the entire island.
What does he wish to view?
The points of interest are:
Northwest hill (to the left and behind, near the lighthouse)
Southwest hill (this was in front of the party when they came to the island)
North Bay (to the left)
South Bay (to the right)
Eastern Hill (in front)

"Well, there is the one hundred millimeter. Two twenty millimeters, I think? And I think there is a forty millimeter, but I am not sure. There is at least one twenty millimeter, and I know a one hundred millimeter was there." >>185783Primary focus is on unexplored areas, and areas threats could come from. >>185783Silver: "Насколько низко можно их нацелить? Можно ли их использовать для стрельбы по чему-то, ну, не знаю, скажем, по палубе «Костромы»? Или, точнее, на что-то на палубе?"
>>185783Kira gives him scritches on the ground, she doesn't want to be too forward and startle the little guy.
>>185784>>185786He isnt concerned with a full analysis, outside a good spot roll. Hes quite expecting the local scenery to jump out at him
>>185783Is there anything in the room?
Posey walks in and looks around.
>>185705Its kinda funny. Here I am whining and suddenly, I can't play for a couple of days. I will be in an internet deadzone.
