>>186151 →>What do you want?I want to fulfill the mission, advance my story, flex my powers, find treasure, and level up.
>listing numbers Not sure what you mean here.
>Then your character deliberately provoked the Traveller into hostility when he wasn't initially hostile, and then furthermore you've provoked multiple new summons within combat.Well, I know that "it's what my character would do" is not an excuse for poor behavior, but I was just roleplaying Posey as Posey, asserting dominance against invading ayys, and encouraging it to expend resources on her own terms instead of during the fight against it.
>Then you asked if your character could be in more danger.I was considering that because I felt like I wasn't contributing to the group enough lately, so I offered up myself as a pincushion, even with my reduced HP.
>And now you complainNot complaining, bro.
>too many encounters and they are too pointless.Combat is part of the fun, but I was thinking tactically with the mission in mind, since the rest of the party benefits from not expending their HP/healing resources when they can avoid it.
>You complain the combat is too easy.No...?
>You complain the combat is too hardAlso no.
>You complain it is too easy immediately after saying it is too hard immediately after saying it is too easy. Literally no. I am not complaining. You are misinterpreting my posts.
>You want combat that has no relevance to the storyI like random encounters that yield treasure and XP to level up, but yes, I am fond of tactical combat.
>but as soon as there are less than a handful of fights that serve the story it's too much combat and the story needs to be shorterI didn't ask for that. You suggested it, and I said that would be fine.
>Likewise on the loot, you say that the magic items belonging to the party are suited for level 12I was expressing surprise, not complaining.
>Then you say that too many enemies are not dropping loot.Well, treasure is always welcome.
It's not a huge deal though.
>Then you don't care much when enemies that have pockets and wallets to raid have money and various items on them.I've been looting them this whole time, haven't I?
>What do you want?I want to continue the adventure without arguments.
>Would you rather we eliminated that damned cursed crown, we eliminated the agreed upon pay out, we eliminated any possibility of magic items in safes on the ship or artifacts in the research bay, or of rescued NPCs or their families paying out rewards, or of taking pictures of the Traveller and leveraging them for more money - basically if we took every single rewardOf course not.
>You're like a cat that wants to be let outside. Then come back inside. Then let back outside. Then come back inside. Then outside then inside then outside then inside.Well, sometimes my posts contradict eachother, but they're also made weeks or even months apart, so idk if the cat comparison is appropriate...
>Do you want combat or not?Sure I want combat.
>Do you want a complete overhaul of the way in which loot works or not?Idk what you mean by overhaul, but loot is always fun.
>What do you want?Well, mostly, to level up, but otherwise I just want to play. I'm fine with how things are going.
>It's driving me insane. Fucking pick something.GM, I appreciate your concern for my enjoyment, but you really don't have to think that hard about it. I have said time and time again that I am fine with the way things are going. The only evidence you need for that is that I am still playing it. I wouldn't still be playing if I didn't like it. I don't play games I don't like, so you don't need to worry about it.
Sure, I had reservations about the rate the story was progressing, or some of the toxic arguments that pop up every month, but I'm still here, aren't I? It's fine. I fine. Your game is fine.
I haven't been meaning to complain, but if my posts come off as complaints, then that is on me. I will be more considerate to prevent showing ingratitude.
