This RPG is set in the land of Equestria after it has been conquered and split between the Changelings and a foriegn fascist nation. It is based in large part on the Equestria at War mod for Hearts of Iron 4, and uses D&D 3.5 mechanics
4 of the group have taken a job to clear a site of a future real estate development of undead. They seem to have stumbled upon a centuries old evil long forgotten by Equestria. Meanwhile, Ash has discovered foals from the order of Saint Prancis orphanage practicing dark magic and sacrifices in the woods, while Iron is having not-so-pleasant dreams

And lo on this night in the game, while the ponies did go about their business, a darkened shadow did flit from rooftop to rooftop, almost as though propelled by magic or unseen force.
As it did traverse from place to place, the position it had occupied would resound with a loud "POP" and would be bathed in multicolored lights. On and on, this went on, where like a very slowly lit fuse visible only from high in the air, did this whoever bounce from point to point, raining "Dancing Lights!" down on those ponies who looked upon. And then, with the same swiftness that it had appeared, whoever it was vanished without a trace. All that remained was the smell of sulfur, a hint of the most basic of magics, and the warm feeling that somepony, somewhere hoped that everyone had a happy new year!

I was just wondering,since some undead spread by infecting their victims via the Create Spawn ability, like Wights and Shadows, while other are just created via intentional necromancy or some kind of similar curse.
Creatures killed by Wights become Wights in 1d4 rounds, which makes them much more dangerous than ghouls.

And meanwhile there is this Changeling after him, as well as some collaborationist police officer. But the guy confronts the mare, and she gives a reasonable enough explanation for why she left him. They evade the Changeling until it is time to leave. But the guy shoots the Changeling and the collaborator decides to join the Equestrians, while the other guy goes off with his wife on an airship to Yakyakistan. And he lets go of the mare though they still seem to kind of love each other. It’s sort of sad and touching, or at least Blue has a tear

Yeah, it really isn't. My Will save is already good, and since I'm Wis-based, most mind affecting abilities and spells won't affect me anyway.
Vow of Poverty though, that's what I actually want to play. Fit right up her alley.
However, I've been playing her as a celibate for the time being, since that's an aspect of ascetiscism, imo. Particularly since she loves children, so denying herself her own foal is her way of reaching greater selflessness. It's not that she's taken a Vow, but it's her basic creed to deny herself worldly pleasures; minor exceptions may apply though.
