This RPG is set in the land of Equestria after it has been conquered and split between the Changelings and a foriegn fascist nation. It is based in large part on the Equestria at War mod for Hearts of Iron 4, and uses D&D 3.5 mechanics
4 of the group have taken a job to clear a site of a future real estate development of undead. They seem to have stumbled upon a centuries old evil long forgotten by Equestria. Meanwhile, Ash has discovered foals from the order of Saint Prancis orphanage practicing dark magic and sacrifices in the woods, while Iron is having not-so-pleasant dreams

>>78078>>78077For Dark Star and Silver? Like 7:00 to 7:30 ish. For Iron and Ash? Like 1:00 AM

You know what, I'll try coloring her myself once I get access to a computer.
>Tfw mobile
>>78090Oh. I'll still look for some colors though. It may be of use.
>>78092You could use greyed-out green as a mane color option. It may look good on her and it matches her scales if they are golden. Also, it's artistic cuz she is pure.
>>78093This is what I mean somewhat. Need confirmation that the scales are that kind of yellow or if they are less shiny.
>>78093Well, I kind of liked the homdrn scales idea, since a bit of an ironic twist on a character who spurns wealth. It feels kind of speshul snowflake tier, but I liked it, especially since it makes her look like a gold dragon.
>>78093>>78084Why are you hitting on the fictional character while
out of character?
>>78096If you want help on creating mares that don't pierce the reader's eyes, you can ask too, even though you are a bit edgy and don't like my current character. Besides that, I did say Ash was waifu material, and I don't lie.
>>78097So, do you like the color proposed for the mane or are you looking for something less grey? We could go for brown mane too.
>>78098>Telling off the GMYou're asking to get raped again, aren't you?
>>78100I mean, you're only proving my point. Not much else, apart from having to read effects of rape on male individuals.
>>78099Idk, I'd have to apply to think about it.
>>78098I think you are confusing not liking your character with retaliation for insulting one of his. Just a guess though.
>>78102I think a warmer color might be better tbh, like peach or pink.
>>78106But I also like the green, since it resembles the trees that nlmatch her name. Gold is already a warm color, and white is neutral, so green could balance the scheme.
>>78094>Need confirmation that the scales are that kind of yellow or if they are less shiny. They're very, very shiny. Close to actual gold as possible.
The green looks good.
>>78098>>78098Listen you ungrateful Shithead, I have spent many
many hours over the past two weeks trying to create unique environments, characters, and scenarios. I have worked on this during times that I should be spending with my grandparents and writing job applications. And for all of this, you actively mock
several of my NPCs that take extensive time to create, you disregard and throw away story pieces as characters when you want to chase some non-existent waifu, you get possessive over
my time that I spend with family, and you are consistently rude both in and out of character. You know I don't have to do any of this shit for you at all? You know I don't have to let you play?
Learn some fucking manners you autist
>>78104>>78101Jesus tap dancing Christ. It's
sleep paralysis. I used almost every trope on the wikipedia page. But if what you want is truly over the top sadism, I promise you, I can do better
>>78107Stop spamming posts in talking to yourself. Do you see how incredibly long these threads are? Do you know that when there are so many posts it's difficult to open a thread on some devices?
>>78109>sleep paralysisAh, that's exactly what I though it was.
I don't think I've ever had it since I was a child, but it's a dreadfully horrific experience.
>>78108>>78107>>78106Cool. If you're recoloring as we speak, I'd like to see the final product when you're done. See how it looks.
>>78111It'll be a while. I'm going to be limited to my phone for quite some time.
For clarification, I locked the thread because the faggotry (and not the playful fun kind) had reached a threshold.
Carry on, but do try to stop shitting in eachother's cereal
>>78116Good. Nice to see that that's over with.
I haven't been playing for a while now but having followed along, it might do to be less adversarial to one another. In addition, one-line posts, followed by one-line posts, followed by more one-line posts (all in the same 'stanza') fill these threads unnecessarily and make them cumbersome and difficult.
Additionally, while shitposting is to be expected to some degree, it can come across adversarially and make a situation unnecessarily tense and/or cumbersome especially to the GM.
Well, I think I need to rest for a bit. I don't want adversity from poorly crafted paragraphs by lack of sleep. Have a good night everyone.
...The hell happened while I was gone?>>78076"Thank you for seeing us, Father. You see..." And thus, Silver once again describes, in as much detail as he can manage, the events leading up to Dark Star getting infected, the ghast that infected him, the EDF soldier that got ghast-ified prior to the group's mission, and how Dark Star has been doing since getting infected.
>>78122>Curwhinny farm"Aye, there are many rumors about that old farm and quarry, and the merchant who used to spend his nights there. I once knew a mare who lost a foal there. Figured he drowned in the lake"
>The undead"There are many who try to fight back against death with magic, but magic doesn't always do what you wish it would do. It removes the soul, and replaces it with an animating energy of pure desire. Desires like those of the carnal, but insatiable and unmitigated. Something truly terrible"
>The actual ghast"We studied rumors of Griffin knights infected by these sorts of creatures. These are partly resurrected corpses that seek out flesh. A sort of desire to become more whole, if you will. But when they bite, they transmit the animating energy. Almost like a sort of terrible reproduction. Even the sex act has its terrible mimic among the undead. And this energy dwells in the host until it can overpower the lifeforce, after something like 30 hours the new host becomes like that which bit it."
>A cure"I believe I have books for this. Incantations and prayers to remove curses"
>>78122>>78123Forgot one>EDF soldiers"It's always a terrible shame to see a young stallion cut down in the prime of his life. But he that take the sword shall perish by it. May they find now the peace they avoided in life"
>>78125>But when they bite, they transmit the animating energy. Almost like a sort of terrible reproduction. Even the sex act has its terrible mimic among the undead. And this energy dwells in the host until it can overpower the lifeforce, after something like 30 hours the new host becomes like that which bit it."A wave of panic the likes of which has never before seen in Dark Star, hits him like getting a warehouse dropped on him
"W-W-W-WHAT?!?!? you gotta help me Father!"
>>78125>>78126>>78127Silver similarly looks worried. "Please, Father...cure my friend of this affliction. Whatever it is you need to do so, I will gladly provide it."
>>78127>>78126"I Dont want to die before ive had a foal."
Dark Star looks down
>>78129"Then you should keep holy signs before you face the undead"
>>78127>>78128"Aye, this is no mundane virus, and it needs no mundane cure. This needs the magic of the light"
Father Maren produces a large book with big leather bindings and a Sun on the front. He must have brought this with him when he first came out
"With the adequate prayers, this may be removed"
He turns to a page, and starts chanting:
"Removere e medio hujus equo execratione maledicta congessit..."
Hmmmm.... Does this need die rolls? >>78130Silver can only somewhat follow what the Father is chanting, without knowing the language. He wonders to himself how anypony managed to come up with those words.
Well, it isn't exactly a traditional heal check, I would think. Maybe? >>78131The language of the clergy is an older strand of Equestrian than contemporary ponish, he recalls
It would be like a caster level check >>78130>this may be removed>may be>mayDark Star Has turned white from terror
>>78132He decides that he'll stick with the Ponish and Cyrillic he already knows. At least those are familiar to him.
>>78135Atlas, pls don't kill mah fren. ;-; >>78135The cure is not taking as Father Maren chants on,
"eximes te equum!"
Roll again
>>78139Well Thats a Big F From me.
>>78139Third time's the charm, don't give up! Skies needs you!
>>78133>>78139>>78139>>78140"Mali spiritus ad tartarus!"
He's not dead quite yet, but he feels a coldness starting to overtake him
[1d20 = 10]>>78136>>78137It Was nice adventuring with you guys
>>78142"Celestia if you are listening i promise ill... Start Praising the sun again."
>>78143Dark Star feels warmer with the Priest's last words. He thinks he hears a distant hiss as the priest continues:
"Inferis rediret corpus destiteritis"
>>78151That's not good. Time to load that dice or be food for lice.
>>78151Father Maren breaks from chanting to say the following in ponish:
“I’d have thought we could have cured you by now. Either something darker is wrong with you, or Fortuna herself has taken a disliking to you.”
“Filius autem malum lupa relinquo!”
>>78151Keep rolling, you can make it!
>>78155Silver looks anxious, with how long this is taking. "...Father, is there anything I can do to help?"
>>78156Is he rolling for ghoul fever?
He loses 1d3 dex and Con every time he fails.
Also, I'll try to play later.
[1d20 = 13]>>78155Dark Star's Worry intensifies
"..."
rolling >>78158If he rolled a 1, that would start to be true. Dark tar actually still has like 23 hours on the incubation period though
>>78159Finally, Dark Star can feel a warmth come to him, as a red light emanates from him
"Begone evil magic!
There, that should have shattered it. You should be safe from turning into one of those things"
I was going to require a 15 or higher, but the dice is behaving like Dark Star has committing great crimes against its people >>78161Yeah, but if he keeps failing, he'll die.
Ghoul Fever doesn't cause permanent ability drain, but it'll kill you.
>>78162Oh. I was going to prepare Remove Disease for when we met up, I guess that's not needed.
>>78162>if he rolled a 1It was really close to start happening. Good thing it was a 2 then.
>>78165This is why it's good to put some ranks in heal. You can take 10 on heal checks, but you can't on saving throws.
>>78162>>78159Silver lets out a breath he didn't know he was holding. "Thank Celestia..." After a couple seconds, he elbows Dark Star, looking much more joyful than we was a minute ago. "I guess that means you will have to start praising her, huh?"
Yeah, that dice just doesn't like Dark Star, today.>>78164It's still probably a good idea to prepare it, in case we decide to try the crypts again and bring Ash along. >>78166It wasn't a heal check, just a d20. Besides that, if you roll a 1, no matter the bonus it should do the opposite of heal, right?
>>78168>It should do the oppositeNot unless circumstances say otherwise.
Using heal to treat a disease let's you sub your heal check for their saving throw. If you fail, they still roll their save normally.
>>78162"Thanks Father i feel warm again."
>>78167"Well i did say that. Even know she abandoned me when i needed it the most i guess i can give it another try."
>>78170this tbh the party needs to reunite so the time stream wont piss its self.
>tfw can't prepare Path Of The Exalted because I don't meet the abstainance component...
Fug. I shouldn't have cast detect magick...
>>78172"And you are welcome indeed. The Undead are no simple matter. Even from her prison. Celestia looks after her foals"
>>78169More like 2 miniquests, one of which could turn very serious
>>78174Well, there's:
>the supspicious adoption>The 1st made mare>The 2nd made mare>The pedo Social DemocratUnless I'm overthinking things.
>>78174"I have heared that they changeling steal some of the love That is meant for her."
>>78175Pretty sure the second and third child can be picked up at once with Cauldron as a contact. But it's going to be a medium to hard quest for it, without much pay apart from the two children.
>>78172He chuckles. "Well, it is more than just praising Celestia. She is just pony, even if she is purest ponification of what we praise. It is Spirit of Her, of Harmony and Equestria, that we truly praise. That which makes us all Equestrians."
>>78174"Father, you mentioned holy signs, to help against undead. We did not finish our mission, and it is likely we will try once more. If you have something you give us that could help in our endeavor..." He pulls out the 150 Bits-worth of paper notes Dark Star gave him for the armor Silver bought. "...here. Even if it is more than you need for purchase of holy sign, consider it token of my gratitude for helping my friend. And donation, towards repairing damage dealt to this Holy place during war."
