This RPG is set in the land of Equestria after it has been conquered and split between the Changelings and a foriegn fascist nation. It is based in large part on the Equestria at War mod for Hearts of Iron 4, and uses D&D 3.5 mechanics
4 of the group have taken a job to clear a site of a future real estate development of undead. They seem to have stumbled upon a centuries old evil long forgotten by Equestria. Meanwhile, Ash has discovered foals from the order of Saint Prancis orphanage practicing dark magic and sacrifices in the woods, while Iron is having not-so-pleasant dreams

If you were playing a paladin, you'd have special spells against teh undead, you yourself could cure diseases like ghoul fever, you could do mundane healing and fill the badly needed role of a healer. You said you didn't want to because you didn't want to be locked into a certain position and wanted to be 'true nuetral' or something. But Silver has not been true nuetral. He's been a harmonist and it is showing in how the character interacts. So why not be a harmonist Paladin. It's like Iron being a Barbarian but refusing to play a Barbarian class...

Like I said, I'm new. Fighter just seemed like an easy class to try to learn the mechanics of the game, before diving head-first into all of the spells and such other stuff that I have no clue how to do. If I knew more about playing, yes, I would probably play Paladin, because that kind of play style seems like it would suit me. I was thinking Lunimous Armor. Think I can stand 1d3 Strength damage, for the sake of a +4 Armor bonus and some Daylight.
It wouldn't stack with the Ascetic's Exalted bonus, but it's not like I actually have it..
I can also prepare Barkskin, if you really want it. Healing potions will also come in handy.
