Can the party avoid tearing each-other's throat out? Can they successfully complete the dungeon and rid Port Barry of the giant glass octahedron that sits motionless a short way off the docks? Will GM have an aneurysm from it all?
Welcome back to the Nuts RP thread, where new faggots (players) are always welcome and previous faggots interact based increasingly loosely on D&D 3.5e core rules.
This thread begins with Thez completing a marvelous and unplanned concert now that she can cast "Dancing lights!" again, and a large crowd has formed around the square, where both Infernius and Trump appear to be intending to address the crowd, Thez having vacated the impromptu stage with several bouquets of flowers and adoring cheers from the crowd.
She has obscene skill pertaining to "Perform"

>>53500It depends on gms interpretation of if hellstorming the kikes is chaotic evil or chaotic good.
I hope we'll get to play tomorrow.. If Anons are available.

Are we going to play tonight or not?
>>53522I'm delaying on baking a new bread for several reasons, many of which should seem obvious.
One which might not be obvious is that I'm curious how high the record can be set for post count in thread. ^_^
Tracy takes hold of the controls and begins steering the ship towards the mountains.
>>53528There's only so much discussion that can occur in a single day. The current discussion seems to be that the game be on standby for the time being, with the potential for irrelevant shitposting. But, it's only been a day, so who knows.
Can Tracy come out and play?
>>53538I thought The Game was supposed to be on hiatus for this week?
Tracy is currently dragging a very large wagon alone on a trail through the mountains.
Can anyone explain to me, like I'm an idiot, why I can't access the discord for more than three seconds?! It crashes my browser every goddamn time. I thought the problem would go away after I got new internet, but it didn't!
>>53540Maybe uninstall and reinstall the app?
>>53540I can't comment on that, other than discord is hit and miss with apps.
You,....
>>53541Tried that. Tried everything. I'm fucked on this computer.
It's been doing this all goddamn week.
>>53543Does Rabbit work for you?

>>53548I'd rather not, desu.
So, is The Game ready for this week? I want to play.
This thread is cripplingly long.
>>53549There's a few details that need addressing yet, I can give you a rundown if you'll stop in and chat with Ben
>>53554So what's she doing with the wagon? Don't say pulling it.
>>53555She's taking her birds to visit their father for the weekend.
*fluffy heads poke out of the windows on either side of the padded wagon*
"CHEEP!"
"CHEEP?"
>>53556>>53557Big fuggin wagon. Pulled by a wee pastel pony. Its allowed, but it also presents a funny image
>>53558I left it as implied that she was regular warhorse sized. It's only a 15 DC check to assume hybrid shape, right?
>>53554>>53558>A small blue pony named "Tr--ie" pulls a wagon>>53559Does she need to be? It's a hell of a lot easier to pull a big load on wheels than to carry it
>>53559However you want to do it is fine, but the image of wee Tracy amuses me
>>53560the birbs need a much larger wagon
>>53560Tracy's birds are as big a mammoths.
The wagon I had in mind is like 5 times as big, and she still looks small pulling it by herself. Big, fancy, beautifully furnished wagon, with colorful drapes over the windows.
\r
>>53563Sure. That's what they were.
>>53562>>53564Can you please not start shit this weekend?
>>53565What do you mean "start shit"?
>>53566Don't start a fire using shit
>>53566You know damn well what I'm talk about
And by the way, if you want to have a fancy wagon, actually aquire the wagon. You want to attack whatever to get the wagon, actually attack whatever. You want to already be halfway to the mountains, declare when you are leaving. Don't just say "oh yeah I have and did this shit"
>>53568I didn't consider the wagon to be significant. She could just push it off of a cliff when she's done with it, if that's a problem.
>You want to already be halfway to the mountains, declare when you are leaving.I figured time had passed since the last session.
>You want to attack whateverI will when I get the opportunity.
>>53569You want to "kill off a small caravan" it can't happen off screen you lazy meta-gaming fuck
Glad to see nothing ever changes between Tracy's and Trump's faggots
>>53569Technically, Tracy could have declared the start of the scene with "Tracy attacks the lead wagon-driver," so just having the wagon without going into detail is a compromise. Besides, I don't mind if the players do a little story-telling; a wagon (even a large one) is pretty mundane to cause a fuss over, especially at the start of a story.
>>53572I don't give a shit about the wagon, it's the "killed a caravan"
>>53570I figured the action of killing 10-16 irrelevant, nonelite NPCs wasn't an issue, for the sake of a joke.
Bottom line is, Tracy, in one way or another, found a wagon just barely big enough to hold her birdies for a ride into the mountains to see their father.
>>53574Uh, yes it is
>Non-eliteSays fucking who? Since when is it established that the NPCs of this world haven't gotten wise to the vulnerability of transport. Or for that matter, when was it established that caravans even exist? In five months I don't believe I've heard a single mention
>>53573Nonsense. Tracy may have >9 Wis, but she's experienced enough to be able to discern when victims wouldn't be able to put up any fight. She wouldn't seen a bunch of NPCs, thought "they look squishy enough", and then it would've been a quick and easy bloodbath. No significant consequences.
>>53575>the NPCs of this world haven't gotten wise to the vulnerability of transport.Apparently, those kobolds in question weren't prepared for a wild horse attack.
>>53575Does it really matter? It's just "Tracy killed something." leave it at that.
>>53576Yeah bullshit. Multiple times in combat we've gone up against enemies that were different than what we thought and Tracy's 9 wis didn't help her.
Did she know how powerful Trollestia was?
That what was Trollestia was actually Ponimaru?
That what she thought was Trollestia was actually a random unicorn?
>>53577No, fuck you
>>53578And fuck you too
>>53578Yes. She's a naughty, naughty, ebil mare.
>>53578And when Trump wasn't looking Tracy killed
forty happy merchants. She killed 40 happy merchants. That's as many as four tens.
>>53579They were fucking kobolds, m8. 1/4 CR. Stop mourning field monsters.
>>53581Kek
>>53581Not only is that four and ten happy merchants, but that's equal unhappy families which is four times as many!
>>53585>implyingI'm saying thats alot of yids that would be doing funeral processions. Infernius might get a chance to get Aushwifty
>>53586Stop fucking around with a joke
>>53587Right, so kobolds. It looks like they had raided a large merchant wagon and Tracy was reclaiming lost transport. Or she grabbed a wagon on her way out of town, cuz they have those.
>>53589Oh stop it, m8. Nobody else has a problem with a few irrelevant happy merchants dying offscreen. Learn to handle the bantz.
>>53592No, it's because you're starting shit within 20 minutes of coming back
>>53593>start shitIt only "starts shit" because you insist on getting butthurt and reading into it to much.
>>53594There's no reading into what is explicitly stated. And there's literally no reason for you to do this shit either. It doesn't serve any purpose
>>53595>no reasonI don't need a reason. It's for fun.
>>53595The purpose is to tell a story. In this story, Tracy "got" a wagon, and is taking birbs to hopefully see their father.
How she got the wagon is still subject to best shitpost
>>53596Okay, then I will bitch back, for fun
>>53598It literally never needed to be stated
>>53599Yes, but if it was merchants that would please Elway and the Fuhrer
K, gotta go
Don't do anything that makes me want to blow characters up when I get back ^_^
>>53598She got it from a horde of kobolds, who themselves just stole it from a troupe of happy merchants, led by some jerk named Barry.
She chopped up the bodies into fertilizer with expert skill, and buried them beneath a grove of young pine saplings, with the help of a few young dryads, who were glad to receive the resource for their trees.
>>53598Tracy killed a caravan of 40 happy merchants, only to realize that it wasn't big enough.
Hitler noticed this sacrifice of happy merchants, and bestowed a larger wagon to her, because he likes ignoring Infernius
Is Infernius's Flamberge a 1 handed weapon or a two-handed weapon?
>>53606It's a Zweihänder type, right?
>>53606Well, the name of the weapon literally means "double handed sword, " and when I saw GM roll dice for it once it was the same as for a greatsword
>>53610Just making sure it was a Zweihänder, and not a rapier-type Flamberg. They come in all shapes and sizes.
*channels divegrass energy*
>provoke
Learn to handle the bantz.
Also, if you have something to say, say it on the thread.
>>53613Is everything bantz to you? I actually do care about the fictional world and the characters. Is that so wrong?
>>53614>Is everything bantz to you?As far as offscreen irrelevant/ambiguous action goes, yes it is.
>I actually careTracy doesn't though.
>>53615Tracy is nothing more than a figment of your imagination. She has no will or wants of her own, and no actions besides those you command. Can you please have some respect?
>>53616Tracy is canonically a serial/spree killer. Her single most consistent character-defining trait is that she mortally stabs people/ponies at random, for seemingly no reason at all. If she had the opportunity to kill a bunch of merchants every once in a while, she would, and she'd do it for no other reason than that she wanted to.
>>53617I knew it! There was another shooter. The secrets that Kennedy knew and wanted to tell us was that Equestria is real and how we can get to it.
>>53617So you're telling me that because the source you stole the concept from has her as a 1 dimensional character who is shit for a serious campaign, you feel compelled to play a 1 dimensional character who is shit for a serious campaign
>>53620Just develop a character and don't be constrained by the source materials
>>53621I mean a campaign where you can actually give a shit about what goes on in the world
>>53621Unironically this.
Nothing about this campaign has been even close to serious. Tracy killing hypothetical NPCs is not the leading cause of that.
>>53622These.
Develop tracy into a 3 dieminsional character like Infernuis.
>>53622>develop a characterI am. I'm developing a NE serial/spree killer who kills things whenever she can get away with it, because she's eevil and criminally insane. Killing irrelevant merchants for no reason is part of that character development.
>>53624She'll still be a serioal killer though, that's not about to change.
She could use some development though. Sometimes I feel like I'm playing a side-character, because she doesn't have very many motives/ambitions.
>>53625Can you please not?
>>53626You are playing a side character, because you think that "lol kill low level NPC lul" is a character
>>53626Im not asking you to change that.
Im asking you to make her 3D
>>53626I need get her working on that guild. I think the mine beneath crumbling remains of Durpistan would be a great location for an ebil organization.
I also want to put her on the path to rediscovering her abilities.
>>53629I dont think that would be a good place for it. Because we need to harvest the metal.
>>53629There are 1000 places to take this character. Why must you take her the *only* way that causes conflict, *and* is entirely non-helpful to the story as developed thus far?
>>53630>we need to harvest the metalCan't Tracy oversee the miners? I thought that'd make a great cover for the guild, since that'd give reason for people going in/out of the tunnel.
>>53632Because the purpose of the party in the larger story is to strike against the evil forces that are threatening the world. With that you're deliberately harming the people we (and especially I) are trying to protect and develop and build with. It conflicts certainly with my character goals
>>53634>purpose of the partyI don't remember signing onto one of those. I just saw that it'd be bloody.
>fight ebilYou don't have to be good to fight ebil.
>trying to protectYou don't need to protect the happy merchants on their way to the port.
>>53635>happy merchantsYou have zero intent for it to be happy merchants
>to fight evilYour character is so 1 dimensional that she has no established motivation to fight evil
>Don't remember signing one of thoseBecause you literally decided in *January* that this was your goal with the character. It is not what you started with
>>53631Ah, nerd bickering. I just thought up this weird idea... this may be crazy and I have no idea if it would work...
set up your own role play with specific rules fun sucking fag I mean, really? Complaining this much about someone isn’t going to help either one of you enjoy anything out of this, just form your own session if you need everyone to conform. Otherwise, learn to work with the player, such as an in-character dialogue to try and end what you find problematic though reason or action. And it will give you that character depth your drooling over. >>53637THE NEW POSTER SPEAKS TRUTH, HOLY SHIT
>>53633I suppose, you would need to give Infernuis a good reason for you to oversee it.
>>53637Who are you?
>>53637Nigger I've been here six months. Who the fuck are you?
>>53638Thank you my good sir. I enjoy watching what you guys get into now and again, but I never really have had time to join one of these, nor do I think I would be good at it.
>>53636>she has no established motivation to fight evilWell, it's implied she wants to steal things and find an excuse to chop plp up, but yes, I'll admit that she hasn't really had very many motivations to fight anyone she's met so far. I also did my best to illustrate her motivation to finish-off Soros, for the sake of her own powers.
>>53641You never know, most of us didn't think we would be good. Its really fun desu.
>>53642Why would she want powers? The source character has no interests in powers
>>53641Didn't know we had lurkers.
You're welcome to join anytime, if you'd wish. We're not so great at it either.
>>53641>we actually have a lurkerYou have made me happy Anon.
>nor do I think I would be good at it.Truth be told, I knew nothing about any RPG when I started, and when I look back at old threads I realize how fucking terrible I was. My point? Anyone can do this shit. It's just shitposting with dice and math. >>53643I might sometime, but school is killing me this semester. If I can catch a break one day for a longer period, I might see if you guys will put up with a noob such as myself.
>>53645>>53646Thanks. I will definitely try when I find the time.
>>53647They put up with me, so I'm sure they'll put up with others.
>>53644Well, I made that comparison to the crocodile from Peter Pan, but I guess that's a stale thematic at this point, because we haven't heard from Soros in a while...
Regardless, if you stole the power to fly and walk through walls, but lost most of it in a Gatorade accident, wouldn't you be motivated to gain it back, or at least pursue the means? Tracy, as I played/interpreted her, wanted to explore her powers for her own devices even before that incident. As of now, it's the only thing she really wants to attain for herself alone. I intended for her to explore and learn to exploit her abilities, and use them for feats that no other pony could do.
>>53650So the only things you want to do with this character are the only things that will create conflict. Lovely
>>53651>create conflictWhere did I mention that?
Fuck it. I am done caring. I have enough to worry about. I have a different community that needs saving
I wanted to have *one* universe, online or real or fictional, where you could actually accomplish something before being stabbed in the back by your own allies. I will not find that here
It's been an interesting if not always pleasant 6 months, but I cannot survive one more. Thank you to those of you who helped me in my recent troubles, which are still ongoing, and there are still greater problems looming for all of us
>>53652>>53653Please stop fighting. And dont leave brad.
>>53655I don't want to fight. These arguments are pointless. I can't help it if he gets triggered by everything I do though.
>>53654>>53655I turn on the news and television or facebook or whatever and all I see is a world in decline, with every community I value and everything I value dying or being stamped out. The tides that gave so much hope in 2014, 2015, and that wonderful year of 2016 have long since broken and are receding.
In my personal private life I am still unemployed and still have failed to accomplish much of what I thought I could. It's heart breaking, because hopes were so high
The most heart breaking of all is the future of this site and community. I don't want to say aloud what is going on since that is (probably) confidential, but it scares me and it stresses me
And so I come here so I can be the hero who helps protect a world he cares about and helps to build from a set of villains. But our own damn allies want to be the villains. If we can't care about nameless NPCs then why should we give a fuck about the villains in the main campaign? And if we give a fuck about the villains in the main campaign then how can we ignore players? Another thing to care about
I can't eat right now because of stress. I am done
>>53656All I have asked of you is 1. please stop trying to break the game by combining deviations from set rules when it benefits you with strict rules lawyering when it benefits you and 2. Please play more of as an anti-hero than become yet another villain we have to fight and worry about and protect the fictional world from. The entire point of the main plot is to be in tension and be worried about what harm they may do and are doing to the world. No need to do that yourself. Is that really so much to ask for?
>>53653And this children, is why you don’t seek fulfillment in a fictional world. It is nice to escape to, but never to live in.
This is a game. The people here seek as much enjoyment as you do. They just have different ways of going about the game. If you must leave, then we wish you the best, but you can’t have universal control over everything in any universe. Sometimes when something doesn’t go the way you plan, it gets annoying. But role play is about adapting and solving problems through communication to players and the GM. You may need a break, no one is forcing you to stay, but I urge you to reconsider before quiting for good.
>>51841Now the OP seems ironic, doesn’t it?
>>53657We care for you sir. You should not be so stressed. If you think leaving will help, you may. But we want you to be happy, and I doubt you will be if you leave.
>>53658I've been communicating for months. One issue has been resolved, but that is it
This is a very bad time for me. Under normal circumstances, I could handle it, but these are very bad circumstances
>>53659Understood. I wish you the best. Your in my prayers. If you even need to someone to talk to, remember, you have us. We may not be ideal, but we hope you can think of us as friends.
>>53657I know the feel, also i learned that jews are vastly over represented in the law field. And they take most of the spots that open up.
>>53661I just wish I could have talked to him more and helped him out. He is so far black-pilled, it’s not even funny. He thinks his friends on here are purposely attacking and derailing the game. And his personal life is in worse shape than here. It’s tough. I want desperately to help, but there is only so much a lurker can do.
>>53662Im sure a new player would help white pill him. Also it does kinda seem like a party member might be doing it on purpose.
>>53663Well, the power just went out where I’m at, so I can’t get any work done. Want to guide me through how this role play works?
>>53662You on discord? He's online
>>53664Sure. First off what race would you like to be? Human? Pony? Minotuar? Something else?
>>53665Nope, never used that before.
>>53664Basically, just describe the kind of character you want to play, and that character will wake up in an empty room. To meet the other characters later. It's pretty much open-game/story from there; although the party does get to kill sme really cool (((villians))).
We platy on weekends, and shitpost through the rest of the week. You can be any race or alignment you please.
>>53668Got a specific type you would like to play mudpony, pegasus, or unicorn? Also stallion or mare?
>>53668Great, another pony. What kind of pony?
>>53670Earthpony, and stallion I suppose
my connection is on the fritz today, sorry for delays >>53667Oh, you don't have to worry about it.
>>53666Hi again Satan
>>53668https://dnd-wiki.org/wiki/SRD:ClassesHere's a class list for your consideration.
Currently we have a Cleric, Paladin, Rouge, Sorcerer/bard, and whatever the hell Thez is at this point.
>>53672There's no rush.
What's he like? What's he do? Any notable talents/profession?
>>53673Better he describe what he wants to be before just picking a class.
GM will be here in a while to guide you through character creation.
>>53672Next we would pick your class, theres barbarian bard cleric fighter rouge soccer wizard and a handful im forgeting.
>>53674I guess, but I found it easier to model a character after the class I wanted
Quick poll, what's everyone's favorite season and/or episode?
>>53677I havent watched past s1
>>53679Chill let him answer one question at a time.
>>53675Was ranger one?
>>53674Hmm... how about the talent of resourcefulness? He can survive off the land using what’s around him.
>>53677It has been a while since I watched the earlier seasons. If I remember it was two, but so far that one season seven episode with apple jack’s parents was my favorite.
>>53679Im bad at names. Can you help me come up with one?
>>53681I can help with a name, what color is he?
>>53682I think that may work. What do you think?
>>53681Ranger is a class. And it seems to fit your character's talents well.
>nameWell, probably something in relation to his talent would be appropriate, or his cutie mark. What's he look like.
>>53683Color... hmm. A dark blue perhaps?
>>53684Yea i think the class fits very well.
>>53686Okay good, whats his mane color
>>53685 character creation is definitely not my strong suit How about a stick for a cutie mark? It could represent the crafting he would do with them.
>>53687I can’t picture how this will look in my head. How about something like black or navy? A bit darker than the body.
>>53689I think it would look fine.
>>53689Not a problem, you're doing fine.
GM will be here later on; then we can actually start him off.
>>53692Sounds good. Can’t wait to see how this goes.
>>53693What's your character's previous occupation, if he had one? You mentioned he was resourceful and a survivalist. How does he use those skills?
>>53695.... I swear that was supposed to go in the porn-dumping thread...
