Can the party avoid tearing each-other's throat out? Can they successfully complete the dungeon and rid Port Barry of the giant glass octahedron that sits motionless a short way off the docks? Will GM have an aneurysm from it all?
Welcome back to the Nuts RP thread, where new faggots (players) are always welcome and previous faggots interact based increasingly loosely on D&D 3.5e core rules.
This thread begins with Thez completing a marvelous and unplanned concert now that she can cast "Dancing lights!" again, and a large crowd has formed around the square, where both Infernius and Trump appear to be intending to address the crowd, Thez having vacated the impromptu stage with several bouquets of flowers and adoring cheers from the crowd.
She has obscene skill pertaining to "Perform"

>>52876This. Although I think the "not treating it as a threat" could have been solved very easily by having a group of wraiths or some other monsters drift out and perma-drain Tracy while she was "training" would have been a simple enough solution
Also, you can expect that the next adversity will not be one that can be put on the backburner
>>52879B-but would h-he get revived?
>>52882NO. He would NOT have. You're welcome.
>>52883Tbh I would have probally quit for like a week if Snek died
>>52884Loot doesn't come bac to life, m8.
Know this: although your character can come back to life in the Entertron, your equipment cannot: so keep it out of danger.
*polishes shoes*
*stares at mushroom cloud*
".... So.. What next?"
>>52885>locks Snek in a glassteel vault and never lets him out so he's safe>now I can't use him and he's sadThis sucks
>>52886"I've got some gnome friends we could visit. They could probally tell us the history of the airship, and we could find those fuckers."
Well I have a legal seminar class now. Can we have a set group of hours when activity is not going on, and massive plot elements don't literally explode during lecture?
>>52890You lose XP if he dies too, so keep him safe.
"I have some unfinished business with the faggots who run the dome up North..."
>>52891The building exploded as a precedent. Other than that, nothing significant is going on.
As for the "General hours" bit, I would like that too. In particular, I'm contemplating a prohibition on ridiculously-exhaustive sex scenes during critical hours (namely, weekends)
I actually am very sorry for not taking your dungeon serious GM.>>52891I guess whatever times your lectures are, but I won't completely stop shitposting.
>>52894>>52896I knew there was something off about it.
>>52894>>52896I don't want players to be sorry, it was poorly implemented on my part. What I do advise and request is that more attention be paid to the character's disposition, and less attention be to their faggot's. Yes, the faggot determines what the character does, but the character is the one who can die or experience consequences. I mean I could have had Thez maintain a vigil over the temple, as though it was something that could blow up at any time, or could possess numerous high-level spellcasters, but that would have been railroading.
>>52898I suggest adding some railroading and mix it with the sandbox.
>>52898>more attention be paid to the character's disposition, and less attention be to their faggot'sI can agree with that.
It's been getting pretty gay in recent weeks, with all of the out-of-character metafaggotry..
>>52899>railroadingThat reminds me, I forgot a critical element of the building exploding. Yes, there was the whisper of "This is not over," but there was also a tell-tale and familiar cackle of a malicious jester whom the party currently possesses the (a?) head of.
Yeah. I've been waiting to reveal that shit for months now.
>>52903Oh shit..!
I was wondering when keeping his corpse was gonna' bite me in the ass..*checks closet and sifts through skeletons to see if he's still there*
>>52904And there aren't a dozen or more spells that enable a particularly proficient spellcaster to perpetuate themselves with,... Trump even admitted being disappointed that he didn't have any equipment on him,...
almost as though he didn't see the results of that encounter as consequential. >>52907Tracy breaths a sigh of relief, having confirmed that her favorite corpse is still intact.
For the record, I had thought that this would have been revealed in the Banquet Nuts thread (hence the OP image)
>>52909>Banquet NutsJee, that was like 20 nuts ago.
>>52911>is a mageBut yes, mages are generally pussies that are always trying to cheat death in one way or another
>*Death-chan kisses Torcuil on the cheek* >>52910Yeah, I know. I thought it was going to be revealed then, and then again during court city, and again with the temple.
So to summarize (though little has
actually happened, but now the characters realize they're not as cushy as they may have thought):
Kefka is alive somehow. Consequently, the Spartan contingent desires to relay with command. The gnomes (good call) can be inquired about the airship, Cardishore is back on the table so to speak, and there are a variety of other cities and nation-states that are now within reach (cuz airship).
>>52912Im not a mage, im a cleric.
>>52913I was expecting it, but didn't know when it would happen.
>>52911Pretty sure a lot of gods can resurrect after time so long as they still have worshipers, or certain aspects of their portfolio remain as part of the universe.
>>52915Actually, I'm glad those necromancers didn't get their hands on any part of Kefka's body. That could've been uber-spooky apocalypse-tier..
*hides precious body-parts*
>>52916If Kefka's powers were rooted deeply enough in this world, he might be good as immortal.
We still don't know just how power he is as a mage or a deity.
[1d20+5 = 8]
Local Knowledge check, to learn wtf even is Cardishore.
>>52916Theomachia is on my list of stuff I wanna do on this campaign. Glad to have a second chance to kill him at full strength.
>>52921On the contrary, the Xp was for the Terrasque, which is alive again also, but the "defeat" threshold was achieved
>>52922>>52923Feels like i didnt earn it.
>>52920>>52912It's not a god. Just a mage. A Mage like few others, to be sure, but the difference matters
>>52921You don't necessarily have to completely kill something to get XP from it. You can gain experience from removing the threat of an encounter, if you role-play it well enough.
Look on the bright side, we'll get to fight them both again at full or even heightened strength, so you'll have a chance to earn that XP seriously.
>>52925>*slight disappointment* >>52926"Tracy you hear that laugh?!?! It sound like kefka!"
>>52928*barbed kunai sinks into back*
"Get over here!"
>>52929*tosses skeleton back into closet*
"That it did. Looks like the cosplaying freak is still around somehow."
>>52931"If he back maybe terrasque is back too."
>>52932*wipes sweat*
"Hahaha.. Why would you think that?"
[1d20+20 = 36]>>52934Bluff"N-nothing... Didn't the dog-thing turn into a football?"
[1d20 = 15]>>52935Counter!
"Maybe me havent looked in awhile, maybe me walk down to field then come back."
>>52936"Uhm.. Uh... Sure... You go do that..."
*nervous whistling*
"The football disentigrated. I saw it while showing the stadium to... Someone, and Fae confirmed it"
>>52939"Me think tracy knows something."

Rolling to Hide
>>52942"When me mentioned that terrasque
Could be back, she started sweating and stuttering."
>>52943"Aaaand then, she ran. Alright,
Now I'm convinced."
*sigh*
>>52944"Lets go find out what she knows!"
>>52941"You can't hide while we're looking straight at you, you furry nigger"
[1d20+21 = 29]
Rolling to Move Silently
*puts on disguise*
For if you ever find her Xp
>>52952So we can count Tracy as gone?
You can't hide while being observed, by the way, and you need concealment. She'd at least need to run first
>>52954Infernius turned around to go look in some field; and your character wasn't speaking, so there was nothing to say he was in the same room.
>>52928"Well, now what? Kefka is back. Those three lichs are definitely coming back. I don't know if the Tarasque is back but it isn't contained as a football, of that I am sure. We can't even keep the damned group rogue from trying to kill and rob White people. AND WHY IS THAT FUCKING DRAGON STILL ALIVE!" Trumpaladin loses his cool in that last statement
"So... what do we do?"
*sighs*
under his breath "at least I am free now" >>52956"Well me say we should start by looking for tracy to see what she knows. The dragon lives because lennos is sweet on her."
>>52957"How do you find Tracy? Neither of us are as fast as her and we don't have the ability to find her while she's hiding. Fae is fast enough, she can spot and listen as well. She can track her scent. That might work. Torcuil could scry on Tracy. I'm mostly just worried about her doing harm.
If she's coming back for anything, it's those birds. She loves those more than pretty much anything. Except crime and crafting I guess.
That fucking dragon lives because
Torcuil and Thez are sweet on her. Lenos only found out she existed much later."

Rolling to Gather Information about Cardishore.
>>52960"Eh, this really is not the way I wanted the break up to happen. But I guess I'll take it"
>>52959Because doing that while the GM is unambiguously unavailable is going to be super effective
>>52964"I meant between myself and Tracy"
>>52959>Running away from the group because you don't want to reveal critical information, and then staying away so you can complete some quest or whatever by yourselfYou're a dick by the way. If you want to play a single player game that is perfectly tailored for your particular preferences, buy a video game. GM spent hours building that dungeon and you made him throw it all away when you just went "oh I don't want to do that, I want to do something else"
>>52966Tracy had every reason to avoid talking about that.
>>52965"But tracy love you uncondi-tionally."
>>52968And those reasons were? It's an excuse to be anti-social and uncooperative
>>52969"That's false. I think you know that"
>>52970"She say that she do anything for you and foal though."
>>52971"Do you believe that?"
>>52972Why you bring out the cute ponies?
>>52976"Find forc, rally the troops and invade!"
>>52977I guess Torc is now a fork
>>52977"Infernius, you don't understand. The enemy is far stronger than we anticipated. Kefka alone is the equal of all four of us. Those liches are almost our equals. There will be an entire garrison there. And we'll be facing all of them at once. And now there are only three of us."
>>52979"Lets see if we can open alex."
>>52980"What? Do you mean Sad Alex?"
>>52979>Kefka alone is the equal of all four of us.Torc senses that someone is underestimating him again
>>52982All he needed was a simple mantle, and POOF he's immune to you
>>52981"Yea and theres that guy we can resurrect."
>>52984"I don't think we can just use sad alex, and Korak is not going to be friendly"
>>52985"Not korak the flashy one. You know the guys head thats in the main room."
>>52979Don't be a bitch. Your character literally radiates courage.
I say bring it on
if we can't win, I'll just run away.>>52983Not if he rolls a 1.
>>52983Well sorry Mr. Rain-on-everyone's-parade
>>52985Technically he would only hate Torc
>>52984"The best strategy to take would be to encourage the enemy to invade first, because no one will ever commit all of their forces to an invasion, they'd always leave a large portion behind to guard the homefront. But we could commit all of our forces to attack that reduced-size force, and we could do so on ground and terms favorable to us. Then, once that us destroyed, we quickly attack the enemy's territory while they are disorganzied and before they can rebuild their forces. And dthat's exactly what I tried to do, first when we thought we had dealt with Kefka, and then when we thought we could destroy the phylacteries in the pyramid. But now..."
>>52988>"Tracy, why you run away?">>52989Trump has repeatedly been blamed for what you did to piss him off
>>52991>"Okay. Why are you hiding?">>52992*sits down*
"The best I can figure is we go to Sparintenar and see what help and knowledge we can get there"
>>52990>Trump has repeatedly been blamed for what you did to piss him offHow can he be mad and Trump for Torc killing him...
And invading his ship...
And setting his slaves free...
>>52994>"Doing what? Why did you leave so ingloriously?">>52995Everytime Trump talks with a pirate he's blamed fro everything in the Korak incident. Although I agree, it's 100% Torcuil's fault
>>52996Kinds of non-lawful characters generally wouldn't be very trusting of paladins, especially pirates; you probably never really had a chance of making allies out of them. Their old boss is still dead too.
>>52998Every time he brings one back to life to try to bring him to his side.
I say just revive them all, give them some clothes to wear, and release them into the wild. Pirates should be free spirits.
>>53002DO WHAT YOU WANT CAUSE A PIRATE IS FREE, YOU ARE A PIRATE!

>checked is checked
>>53006Trumpaladin did an alignment check of Korak, and he was lawful evil
>>53007Oh, I thought he was Chaotic Neutral.
Guess that makes sense for a slave-trader.
>>53007But the crew¿
>evilHaven't you said
multiple times its a Paladins job to rid the world of evil?
>>52993"We buy some tech from gnomes?"
>>53008That would be Lenos
>>53009The crew are known to be interested almost exclusively in money, but are perfectly capable of obeying orders from a superior, and care about moral virtues like honesty, loyalty, and duty in their assessment of a man. That sounds like lawful evil to me. Why would they have an alignment different from Korak?
>>53010"I need a moment. At least"
>>53011>The crew are known to be interested almost exclusively in moneyYou intend to pay them all salaries?
>>53012That was the plan at the time
>>53013I say just let them all go. They'll find work in the port themselves.
>>53011*hugs*
"Help me bring alex over here."
>>53015"I don't think we're finding him"
>>53017"What are you talking about? Hes over there"
*points to statue*
>>53020Ryuk guards him.
I wouldn't mess with Ryuk...
>>53023*walks over and grabs the statue and bings him over to the table*
>>53026Too bad you guys don't have a sorcerer that can turn flesh too stone
>>53027Well, vise versa in this case
Trumpaladin moves further away from Infernius, and then finds a couch to lay on and pout
Sad Alex's petrified body transmits radio signals across the entire continent.
Sadly, the gnomes have not yet released radio.

>>53047"Aww..."
*pets pony*
*Pulls her across his lap*
*realizes that both are still on a couch*
"Now use your search skills to find the remote and use magic device skills to turn on Netflix"
>>53048"What's a remote, and what's netflix?"
*does what he says, regardless*
>>53049"You're adorable sometimes*
*when she comes back to him, he plays with her cute pony forelegs and hooves*
>>53051*picks up pony and cradles her*
"Do you want food?"
>>53052*nibbles fingers expectantly, like an animal at a petting zoo*
>>53053*carries pony into kitchen area*
"While it would be a bit grander to take you to my restaurant, this will work in a hurry"
Trumpaladin makes a delightful set of pasta for himself, and a Trump brand angus stake cooked to blued rare, just the way he imagines Tracy would like it
*gives steak to pony*
"Here you go"
>>53053*Also picks out a carrot*
*places carrot near pony mouth*

>>53064*Opens mouth to accept piece of almost-raw meat*
*Closes mouth and chews before swallowing*
[Happy pony noises]
>>53065*does this with the entire steak, piece by piece, fascinated to see the pony eat*
*pets pony with other hand*
>>53066*Graciously accepts every chunk of meat, chewing each piece thoroughly before swallowing*
*Purrs happily as Brad pets her, appreciating the feeling of his fingers running through her mane*
>>53067*pulls pony onto his lap and pets her, running fingers through mane and fur and tail, as he starts to eat his own meal*
>>53068*Rubs tummy and smiles contently, comfortable on Brad's lap*
>>53069*rubs pony tummy as well*
>>53070"~Hmmmmmm.."

>>53074"I never did ask you what foods and drinks you like. Maybe I should have asked that first"
>>53076"I can eat just about anything, but I think my favorite thing is
food pellets."
Did anyone save that greentext where Anon notices the lack of salt in all of the food in Equestria so he gets into the habit of bringing a saltshaker wherever he goes, and the ponies begin to freak out because they think he's addicted to salt?
>>53077*is shocked at this revelation*
*continues eating pasta*
"Did you have a home before coming here, in any proper sense?"
>>53079"Yeah, yeah, I know it's junk food, but I just can't get enough of them when they're around.."
>Home"..Not really... I've hung around places for quite a while, but I was always more of a migratory ungulate."
(she's a drifter)
>>53080"Did you move around out of choice or because of circumstance?"
*retrieves food pellets* >>53082"I ended up moving around quite a bit. Multiple cities, generally for different jobs. There was this one time my I almost bought a home but I figured I'd be out of there long before I could pay off the mortgage. Almost got married too. That didn't last. I was in a different state not a half-decade later. My parents had one home where I grew up. I wish I could have stayed rooted....
You like moving around?"
>>53083"I wouldn't say I liked it; it's just how I lived. I do prefer to move around a bit more though.
I only ever wanted to be a mommy.."
