>>180686First, Kira now arrives, seeing the carnage that has occurred in the first round. Silver calls out to her, loudly as he can't hear himself over the ringing, "CROWN!"
Kira's Initiative:
[1d20+3 = (20+3) = 23] Well that didn't go to plan! Shit!
>>180684A what
>>180680*glaring zigger noises*
>>180689Roll 1d20 plus your character level.
>>180688Sweet, back-to-back actions!
>>180686>>180687Silver switches targets, targeting the yeth hound with first an overhead strike then a thrust with his greatsword.
Overhead:
[1d20+12 = (5+12) = 17]Thrust:
[1d20+7 = (4+7) = 11]Kira, meanwhile, makes a beeline for the red griffon wearing the crown, and makes a touch attack to attempt a grapple.
Touch Attack:
[1d20+9 = (6+9) = 15] >>180683Uh... Yeah, you're right. Heather is the mare. Flowercup is the flly,
It's still Heather
"Oh, we're working on one."
I need to review the staff of the church.
>>180693That's a successful touch by Kira.
But Silver doesn't penetrate through it's unnatural hide
>>180694Grapple: Kira attempts to wrap her coils around the red griffon, restraining him and making him an easy target to take the crown from.
[1d20+13 = (14+13) = 27] >>180696He has a much higher grapple than that, but he was only going to succeed on a very high roll anyways...
>>180695Kira has grappled the mean griffin
Yellow stabs at Posey
[1d20+4 = (20+4) = 24]
Black lost his fort save
>>180694>Uh... Yeah, you're right. Heather is the mare. Flowercup is the flly,>I need to review the staff of the church.^^
Vir nods along with Heather's words.
"Tell me if you need anything. I can... Uhh, maybe help move stuff. I'm going out to the courtyard... Where could I train? I don't need much space."
>>180695Great. Now he can't use his harpoon to fight back when Posey disarms him, meaning that I have a huge advantage with disarming him
>>180698"~Aaaiiieee, not so hard!" Posey says, as she's stabbed where her heart should be for the second time this fight.
>>180700Posey orders her unseen servant to pick up the crown and place it on her head as soon as she disarms him.
Since she's adjacent, she can't use her polearm to disarm him, so she uses her bare hoof.
[1d20+12 = (2+12) = 14]Also, Dreadful Wrath targeting the dog, DC 22
I'll demoralizes the dog too
[1d20+18 = (5+18) = 23](Last round I forgot flanking bonus, which may have ended the fight a round ago, but whatever...)
>>180702....I could also disarm with my other bare hoof (two weapon fighting), since I didn't move
[1d20+8 = (20+8) = 28] >>180701"Well..." She presses her lips together. "Yes, well, no, we don't have a cloister, if that's what you're asking for. But there's a walled in courtyard with a fountain, and then an even more private garden in the back, if you like."
>>180702>>180705Posey is able to literally knock it off of his head.
The unseen servant has some sort of revulsion to it.
Red is only able to open his eyes and shake his head
>>180702>>180705The hound
which passed its will save bites at Posey again
[1d20+10 = (5+10) = 15] >>180706>You can use a disarm action to snatch an item worn by the target. If you want to have the item in your hand, the disarm must be made as an unarmed attack.Posey is holding the crown. Is she affected by it? Is it cursed?
Posey pets the dog with her horn.
>>180706Is it my turn?
If so, Dust would elect to get in range to the hound to lift his flail really high, and bonk it over the head.
Idk how 3.5e works with thinks like attacks of opportunities, so I'm just gonna roll my attack and resolve that stuff after.
[1d20+9 = (9+9) = 18] >>180707It physically feels as if it contained a charge of static electricity. It is unpleasant to hold.
>>180708Its hide is obscenely thick, so that fails to push through.
>>180709Posey took a full round action, so her turn is over.
Unless putting the crown on her head is a free action. She really wants to try it on.
The White Griffin moves back into the cockpit.
Brie and Cavaliere are away at the moment.
>>180711I'll need a minute, I've been conscripted to help with supper. Maybe Brie will get back in that short time.
>>180706>Red is only able to open his eyes and shake his head"Your reign is over! Surrender!" Posey says, trying her hardest to make the message clear from what she knows of Northern gruffonian.
>>180706The clippity clopping echos through the hall of the church.
"I'll go to the garden, after I have dro- Put this down," Vir says and nods to the head on her withers. ^^ "I'll just exit the church and keep walking to the back right?"
>>180714Red blinks multiple times
"Hva?"
>>180715She smiles
"Oh no, you have to go through the door in the back, then down a hallway, and it's a door that will be on your... left. It's a
private garden."
>>180711GM, who is where? White went into the cockpit, Red is in the middle? Yellow is still to his side, and black has the rifle? Does Brie have an unobstructed line of approach on Black?
>>180717I'm guessing with the mind control spell broken, combat is over?
Oh wait, there's still the dog.
Can I roll diplomacy to pet the dog?
>>180719You can wait your turn, please (he says through very very thinly veiled resolve to hold his patience)
>>180718Red is in the middle, physically surrounded by Kira. Silver is in front of red. Posey is to the right of Silver. Yellow is to Red's side, kind of near Brie, but in perfect stabbing distance all the same from Posey, evidently
Black is in the stairwell on the far side of the cabin from Brie. He is stunned this round and not able to move. Because both Brie and Black are kind of "behind" Red, Posey, and the like, he kind of does have an unobstructed line of approach, save for the edge of the stairwell and the almost 15 feet of distance.
>>180722Fucking FINALLY
Charge action, closing distance to Black (60' max), improved grapple attack action
[1d20+12 = (14+12) = 26] Excuse me, that was the grapple check.
Touch attack [1d20+8 = (17+8) = 25]
>>180723whumpHe ain't moving. It succeeds.
>>180722Okay, so, before any more actions are taken, is:
1.) the dog still present and hostile?
2.) Red still hostile?
>>180726The dog is present and hostile
Red does not appear to be hostile.
Assuming both succeed, which by all mechanics they should, he can no longer use the rifle effectively. Brie will end his round attempting to hear for any commotion further down the stairs
>>180725Ponies with a familiarity in History: Martial Arts will recognize the technique Brie just performed as being the "Himeru Kyuu", or "Cloaker Coffin", a traditional technique of Kyushin-Ryu jiu jitsju. If going for the kill, he would instead opt for the lesser known "Himeru Ansatsu", or "Cloaker Assassination".
The Himeru technique is specific to bats, involving the wings to mimic the grasping capacity of the indigenous subterranean creature."I know, right? I have my own narrator!"
I would like to propose - since he did give me permission - that Brie shout to Cavaliere "Try to hit the off button on the doggo"!
Meaning, try stunning the doggo
>>180729Kek
Brie can hear downstairs, though the tinnitus isn't helping. He hears nothing special. He can see downstairs. There is water, but no griffins are visible.
>>180731His earplugs are in, under the mask
>>180730Are you controlling Cav, then? I'll wait to take my turn(s) after if that's the case.
>>180727Okay, free action time then while we figure out if Cavaliere is going to take a turn.
Silver shouts, "COIL AROUND DOG, KIRA," his hearing still not exceptionally well after the sonic burst. Kira nods at Silver in understanding.
On my next turn, I would like to roll diplomacy vs the dog.
Posey speaks infernal, and she's holding the sea crown. She may be able to make it back down.
Posey likes dogs.
>>180733Cav did suggest it before he left. I'm not controlling him in this way, merely suggesting in character based on what he seems able to do (Brie has PLENTY of experience with stunning hoof, tho he doesn't know how the technique is performed)
Theres uhm,,, some lewd stories involving stunning hoof Shrugs
Cavalieri’s guns wouldn’t be effective past the damage reduction, anyways.
Cavaliere:
Stunning Fist [1d20+4 = (4+4) = 8]
Alr then, unleash the noodle
>>180734Does that mean you would rather prefer that we didn't kill the doggo?
>>180738It depends if it's summoned (in which case it should disappear if it's summoner is incapacitated)
Or called (in which case it would actually die when killed).
If it's a called creature, it could be helpful to use on our adventure, if we treat it well.
I guess this warrants an Arcana check
[1d20+11 = (17+11) = 28] >>180738Cav missed his stunning fist, its Silver and Kira nao
>>180717Vir smiles back.
Vir walks over to the place where Heather indicates and lowers herself slowly down on her belly. She then extends her right front hoof and right hind leg away from her body to the right. She leans downwards on her right side so the head is tipped off but then she rolls over onto her left side and catches the head smoothly with her hooves like shellfish clam. She then stands up and lets the head lay there.
Vir pouts as she sees the head is still grimy, she tries to clean it a bit more as rubs it off with her hoof. Getting some of the grim on the fur of her hoof instead.
She blinks as she remember.
"By the way, I found it on the bottom of the Delabear River near one of its bridge's pillars. There was a saddlebag next to it... And a pair of glasses bu-but I doubt... Could that been related to, somehow or..?" Vir trails off.
>>180742"I... Don't know. We don't have a saddlebag missing. Nor any glasses. But there are many ponies who have walked across that bridge..."
>>180744Vir scratches the back of her neck, embarrassed and successfully add some of that wonderful grim to her neck fur.
"Yeah, I don't why I thought that would be related. Seems far-fetched now. Hehe."
She feels the urge again and licks her lips. She blinks.
"I'm go and find that garden now."
