Neela and Girka are silent for a moment. Equestria is after all a land of magic, harmony, and ultimately friendship. And perhaps Kira helped them see that. When the 800 lbs snake blocking the only exit to the room asked them if they really wanted to die for a few shirts, it seems to have left an impression. That, or they really would rather the neighbors not call the police over their loud arguing.
Girka: "Oh... Okay... Fine, you can take some things. But if Dehan asks what happens to his things, I am going to tell him the truth."
Neela: "You can keep this... let me get a few things and get out of here."
Neela takes a bag, gathers a few items, then tries to go to another room. She avoids physically contacting Kira if she has to walk over her, or just waits for her to move.

Moving across the ship, Posey goes past the axels and down a ladder and off the ship, onto a birm of dirt.
As everyone knows that the maximum effective range of .303 British is 200 yards tops, Posey presumably travels at least that distance. While the canopy is thin, Posey does find a large tree with hanging branches and small green leaves to rest under, positioned on a small rise in the soil away from the moving water. She can hear the sounds of the birds and the insects, and perhaps thankfully, not that much else.

Kira nods and slithers in as best as she can. Neela discovers one of the many benefits to having a lamia around, as she is indeed quite strong and is able to help her carry a good many things. Kira shows interest in what Neela grabbed from the vent, if she can see what it was.
"You said the lease for this place was up in two months, right? I'm guessing that means they only have two months left to live in this apartment. Maybe we can get the furniture back when they're ready to leave?"
