That... doesn't quite work. At least two soldiers have found Posey and engage her as she is exiting

"What are you doing in this area at this hour, ma'am?" One asks, fairly demandingly.

And...
"What's in the bag?"

The soldiers take the bag to look through it. Or rather, one takes it, while a second stands further away and keeps a gun trained on Posey. When it is verified that Posey does not, in fact, have explosives, firearms, cameras, or radios in there, they give it back.

One pony writes something in a notebook, while another asks why she was walking down an industrial, dead end street in a sketchy neighborhood, and why she has a chainmail suit. And a bow and arrow.

However, with the coinciding of the skeleton and her student ID, and the absence of any actual contraband on her, she's out of the risk of immediate arrest. In fact, when two more soldiers show up, they are more concerned that Posey is a decoy for actual rebels.

"Just down that hallway" he points a hoof towards the exit on the left "there is an internal balcony over the open first floor atrium at the front entrance. There are a couple stairs on the side. If you don't wish to go that way, there are stairs past the next corner that will take you to the first level. And if you wish to go to the underground... Amber moves past a coffee shop, a shop selling sausages, a bakery, a tobacco shop, hat store, and a wooden crafts store. There actually seems to be more economic activity than back in Katerinburg.

The cathedral must surely have been under contrustion for decades (but not centuries), with a hiatus in its construction, and a small plaque states that it's replacing the older version of the Saint Rufus temple that was destroyed in a fire. What remains is detail on the tiling over the main roof, and the upper portions of the towers. It's open, and surely has been for years.

Silver's group of ponies are a bit disorganized, given how many are wounded. Nevertheless, they gather, and nod to Silver's command. The corporal places the magazine into the well, and it automatically loads a round into the chamber.

Also maybe a removing of the guns the dead changelings dropped. They can take the ammunition for any of their guns that can use them, but it's a good idea that to not leave them for the wounded changelings or anyone else to stumble upon.

"Very well."
Posey takes the bones of Luminous to where the relic is.
She trots along merrily, clearly in an excellent mood.
She sings a little poem as she goes:

"The earth that's nature's mother is her tomb;
What is her burying grave that is her womb,
And from her womb children of divers kind
We sucking on her natural bosom find,
Many for many virtues excellent,
None but for some and yet all different.
O, mickle is the powerful grace that lies
In herbs, plants, stones, and their true qualities:
For nought so vile that on the earth doth live
But to the earth some special good doth give,
Nor aught so good but strain'd from that fair use
Revolts from true birth, stumbling on abuse:
Virtue itself turns vice, being misapplied;
And vice sometimes by action dignified...."

She unfurls her scroll of Animate Dead, unscrews the base, and retrieves a black onyx gem, and places it within the eye sock of the skull, and completes the spell to activate the scroll.
"Luminous Grandeur, I command you to rise!"
Posey auto-succeeds on her caster level check to activate the scroll.

Posey puts on a sinister grin, as she watches the skeleton rise.
I don't know what his stats were, but as a skeleton his alignment would change to neutral evil, and he would only have one hit dice. This makes him an appropriate candidate for the following gimmick:

"Luminous, I command you to take the pastern bone of Saint Filipovich in both of your claws, and hold it firmly." Posey says
The skeleton, under Posey's command, would reach out to grasp the bone. Once it's in its possession, it would immediately gain a negative level, and be instantly slain, collapsing back into a pile of bones.

"Now we play the waiting game." Posey says, still grinning.

In case it wasn't obvious, Posey is creating a Wight. A creature slain by negative levels rises as a wight the following night. The relic isn't useful to Posey because it is virtuous, but by misapplying it's powers, Posey has turned it to vice. Posey intends to recreate Luminous as an undead inversion of himself, and her first order of business will be to use him to eliminate Alluring, to get rid of the last witness while also punishing him for his greed.

She tells Lament (or anyone around), that she's attempting a dangerous experiment, and not to let anypony into the quarters, unless they're interested in becoming wight and based.
Although, until the evening, the bones aren't going anywhere. Posey spends the day researching and taking care of Gloomy. She makes sure that she has time to overlook the bones hours before evening though.

It should, iirc
>A character with negative levels at least equal to her current level, or drained below 1st level, is instantly slain. Depending on the creature that killed her, she may rise the next night as a monster of that kind. If not, she rises as a wight.
A unless the effect says otherwise, a creature slain in this fashion rises as a wight.
This has no clause for condition of the body. The Grim Revenge spell turns a severed limb into a tiny wight.
Inflicting negative levels on undead isn't usually easy, but having them possess holy items is one of those few ways to do it. The fact that a holy sword can turn a 1 HD evil creature into an undead is one of those silly things in 3.5e. A skeleton was the most easily obtainable 1 HD evil creature that I could think of.

Unless what you mean to say is "I don't want you to make a wight", in which case... pretty please?

I don't see that

Also, there's a pretty decent case for Luminous to become a saint.

>pretty please?
I suppose there's a decent case for this, as I tend to be pretty lenient with players basically collecting NPCs (Silver is up to five, I think) including de facto companions
