As we join the party for this round of tomfoolery, Infernius is residing comfortably in the Tower. Tay is also, despite a rebuke from Thez, and likewise Torcuil is resting comfortably.
On other fronts, several of Trump's Generals have been burned alive by acid, while others feebly attempt to fend off a dragon with their bows. Trump and Tracy speed in to aid the scenario, while Fae attempts to direct combat and help PCs and NPCs alike to live another day.

Okay. The scenario is this (described through latent dialogue). The Trolls had inhabited the particular section of forest, but in doing so had drawn the attention of the resident dragon. In exchange for not-murder, the trolls would offer meat. To help assuage the dragon during lean times (such as this) they woul prey on less-wild animals (read, Port Barry loggers). Neither the Dragon, nor the Trolls ever wanted to start a fuss, but it was a matter of individual and group survival.
The dragon its self doesn't really care where its meal comes from, it just likes them 'pickled' (seeded in bog-water for a duration).
Ultimately, by sending out a logging party, the party caused this whole debacle by upsetting the delicate balance of power and existential circumstance by inserting a human presence in an otheriwise homeostatic dynamic, resulting in potential catastrophe to the hoomans, which was mitigated by the party.
Congrats, the party are the bad guys. ^_^

While I want to say "Success, it is so",... you don't know where it COULD go at the moment. I mean, it could stay here, but the Trolls (which are largely dead) had killed offf much of the local fauna. You could leave it there and hope that said fauna returned,... its a gamble either way.

To ceremonialize the situation, and to assuage any doubt, Thez walks forward and offers her hand. "Eat it, it will rejuvenate." to which the hungry dragon does eat. Her arm is quite meaty, and though not enough to sate a dragon of her size, the gesture is not dismissed.
"If there are lands beyond this that I may hunt and prey on that do not cause harm, I will do so. I'm sure you have differing standards of propriety, but you have been kinder and more considering than any I've encountered (realize, no one is nice to black dragons, in general).

Let me state for the record, I had absolutely no intention or predisposition that things turn out this way, it was entirely a matter of momentary inspiration, serendipity, and identification with a dragon that is evil (yes) but really just wants to survive, and is operating in a context that it didn't initially plan for but was making the best of.
