On other fronts, several of Trump's Generals have been burned alive by acid, while others feebly attempt to fend off a dragon with their bows. Trump and Tracy speed in to aid the scenario, while Fae attempts to direct combat and help PCs and NPCs alike to live another day.

Think of it this way, he's a young dragon, of a species that loves metal coins, his only assets are his estate and whatever treasure lies beneath the bog. Since he's young, he probably wants nothing more than to have his own, personal hoard of metal coins. Let me state for the record, I had absolutely no intention or predisposition that things turn out this way, it was entirely a matter of momentary inspiration, serendipity, and identification with a dragon that is evil (yes) but really just wants to survive, and is operating in a context that it didn't initially plan for but was making the best of.

So when it comes to proposed changes to the site - even though I have zero authorization or mandate - I am always quick to assess the scope and nature of those requesting/demanding the changes. In the case of flags, there is valid concerns about them, but I also have no doubt that an indeterminable (yet still existent) percentage of the anons calling for the change haven't really ever posted, and probably won't even if there are no flags. Or perhaps, they want the flags gone so they can better troll.
Tl:dr There's no doubt in my mind that some calling for no-flags are spurious. W/e the case, I have no problem making sure that opponents do not get their way, and new users get what they want out of the site.

Aside from those however, the only point to a cursed item seems to be as a booby-trap against anyone who might attempt to run off with 'whoever's' treasure. Beyond that though, I can think of very few situations where a competent spell-caster would go through the trouble of crafting such an item (except perhaps TO deliberately malign someone), but in such cases its hard (for me at least) to imagine that such an item would be retained and not either destroyed or whatever. That's my initial impression at least.

So if I haven't made it clear, the following are my character's actions after what happened last night.
First, communicate to Fae about A whether the generals or she were able to track down and kill any trolls and B whether an alternative route back was found and they returned.
Then, Trumpaladin and Tracy do whatever needs to be done to retrieve all of the treasure. This means 3 times standard in three categories: coin, items, and goods. All are collected. First he tries to get Kiynen to retrieve the treasure and bring it to the shore. Then he tries Torcuil. If those fail, he casts DRAIN THE SWAMP. And Torcuil also casts DRAIN THE SWAMP. And if that fails, he takes his armor off, and dives into the bog, along with Tracy, to get it out himself. The point is he gets everything if it takes all night to do so.
These are collected and placed into Tracy's bag of holding, or on sadle bags, or in bags on Trumpaladin's person. Fae is called in if necessary. Any human remains not already collected are retrieved. If there are troll relics to find, he retrieves those, if the Generals or Fae did not. Then he returns to the tower.
When back, though the treasure is placed underneath the eyes of Tracy and Trollestia in the stable (those parts that are not on Tracy and Trumpaladin's person), Trumpaladin immediately takes the human remains, and ressurerects the soldiers in the entertron. Inferius is called in for this (he would have to be) to apply "calm person" and to grapple as necessary, if they are hysterical like the pirate was.
Ressurected soldiers are told the following:
"Though you were killed in the line of battle in an ambush by a black dragon earlier tonight, you have been restored in life and health through the Power of Football. Not even in death does duty end, neither yours to me nor mine to you. Know that the ambush revealed the presence of a waiting dragon, that had in the past recived sacrifices of humans, which was scared away when other Generals successfully landed hits on it. The Generals proceeded towards the Troll encampment and killed or scattered what remained of the trolls. The bog was returned to in force, with the result that the dragon was removed and the entirety of its treasure taken. This expedition resulted in the elimination of what had been a man-eating arrangement and hunting party that occasionally encroached on Port Barry, and the pacification of an area of marshy forest to the east, that may now be used for other purposes, besides the collection of a treasure. Now you may help yourself to food and drink in our kitchen area. Just be sure to report for the game tomorrow."

First, communicate to Fae about A whether the generals or she were able to track down and kill any trolls and B whether an alternative route back was found and they returned.
Then, Trumpaladin and Tracy do whatever needs to be done to retrieve all of the treasure. This means 3 times standard in three categories: coin, items, and goods. All are collected. First he tries to get Kiynen to retrieve the treasure and bring it to the shore. Then he tries Torcuil. If those fail, he casts DRAIN THE SWAMP. And Torcuil also casts DRAIN THE SWAMP. And if that fails, he takes his armor off, and dives into the bog, along with Tracy, to get it out himself. The point is he gets everything if it takes all night to do so.
These are collected and placed into Tracy's bag of holding, or on sadle bags, or in bags on Trumpaladin's person. Fae is called in if necessary. Any human remains not already collected are retrieved. If there are troll relics to find, he retrieves those, if the Generals or Fae did not. Then he returns to the tower.
When back, though the treasure is placed underneath the eyes of Tracy and Trollestia in the stable (those parts that are not on Tracy and Trumpaladin's person), Trumpaladin immediately takes the human remains, and ressurerects the soldiers in the entertron. Inferius is called in for this (he would have to be) to apply "calm person" and to grapple as necessary, if they are hysterical like the pirate was.
Ressurected soldiers are told the following:
"Though you were killed in the line of battle in an ambush by a black dragon earlier tonight, you have been restored in life and health through the Power of Football. Not even in death does duty end, neither yours to me nor mine to you. Know that the ambush revealed the presence of a waiting dragon, that had in the past recived sacrifices of humans, which was scared away when other Generals successfully landed hits on it. The Generals proceeded towards the Troll encampment and killed or scattered what remained of the trolls. The bog was returned to in force, with the result that the dragon was removed and the entirety of its treasure taken. This expedition resulted in the elimination of what had been a man-eating arrangement and hunting party that occasionally encroached on Port Barry, and the pacification of an area of marshy forest to the east, that may now be used for other purposes, besides the collection of a treasure. Now you may help yourself to food and drink in our kitchen area. Just be sure to report for the game tomorrow."
