I'm actually reading a nice history of Prussia right now on Audiobook. Iron Kingdoms is very detailed and interesting, as well as available for free on Audiobook on Youtube. It's not Rightwing propaganda though. The author tries to stay as neutral and unbiased as possible, and 11 hours in and there has been no leftwing bullshit, so I think he's fairly successful.
