>>30572You mean the >rape? We're past that. The clients really liked your performance.
>>30572K. So to reiterate: "Yes well, it is good that you're here. We've been in communication with the Grand Court, and they are most interested in your appearance and performance. News of your performance in Sparintenar made quite a stir it seems!"
>>30574I recently formed a girl group with my friend thez shes really good, i would like you to sign her to.
>>30575"Be careful of that one, she attempted to pass fraudulent documents through Mr. Trump. The board of executives has black-balled any billing or hiring of her."
>>30576That just will not do, let me speak to these executives for my friend.
>>30577"If you would like to a meeting can be arranged, but it won't be any time soon. These are very busy people, you must understand.
The contract (he indicates his stack of books) is specifically geared toward you being the sole talent present on stage, and there hasn't been any allowances made for additional staff."
Do I need to roll a die to start training these birds during the rearing? I want to at least be able to at least teach them "Come", "Heel" and "Down" before they get big enough to cause any serious damage.
>>30578I understand and i would like to schedule a meeting herr sigmund. How was the income for the concert?
>>30579KEK! That's hilarious!
"I'll pass that along. The concert? You mean the one for the Grand Court? The payout for the artist is 10k gold."
>>30582>>30581No i was asking if it brought spartinator a good sum of gold.
>>30583Now I'm confused. Are you referring to the proposed performance or previous?
>>30585How could there be? They were entirely spontaneous, its not like tickets were sold. There WILL be profits for Sparintenar, but that will depend on her performances going forward.
>>30586Good i would like to boost there economy.
>>30474>tfw birds have only 2 IntThe writers of these books greatly underestimate the intelligence of animals..
>>30581>hilarious???
I'm taking this from a wiki. I wanted to know when to roll, because some of these checks take several weeks.
Am I just reading into it too much?
>>30588>Animal INTIKR? I'm not going by the "book" on animal OR monster INT, that's absurd, across the board for all general animals,... yeah.
>>30588Well, its not exactly an opposed check, so it can just be assumed to have happened. The first impression of one was Tracy, and the other was of Trump's face, so they're all-but imprinted at this point, barring significant trauma.
>>30589>imprintedI practiced falconry for 6 years, and idk what you're talking about..
>>30590Well I know jack shit about baby birds, so nevermind.
Hey thez can i talk to you?
Oh, and to address the question about animal behavior references.
I'll start with inbred hamsters. When a hamster is properly sired and bred they develop into cohesive and social groups with the other hamsters they live around. This is observable in both wild and domestic hamsters. They share resources and responsibilities.
When hamsters are inbred, they increasingly begin hoarding and stealing everything available to them, be it resources, or in case of domestic, all the toys. In times of scarcity, they will - as a group (the whole inbred family) - will literally cannibalize other hamsters.
This is why pet farms are such a problem, but that's a rant for another day. The implications I was making by that reference is to beg the question: "If that's how hamsters act when they're inbred, how do people act?" refugees, for example
>>30591Did you mean bonding of some kind? They're usually blind for the first several hours, minus the ability to tell light from dark.
If you meant familiarity, birds are usually comfortable around the individual they spend the most time with, although the biggest factor is the person who knows how to handle them properly. Most birds are quite intelligent, and can recognize human faces easily; they're capable of recalling how an individual has treated them in the past, and they even hold grudges sometimes. Each bird is unique and needs to be handled in respect to its personality (which is subtle as fuck, but exists nonetheless), so trainers who spend a lot of time with their birds by default know how that bird needs to be treated.
What they remember early on though is what sounds and patterns they associate with food, which is why you have to begin handling them all day on the first day to make sure their rewards and motor system is intact. If you expose them to loud noises or rhythmic music in the first couple days, it royally messes them up because they can't even eat/fly properly.
pic unrelated
>>30594I- i am going to negotiate to the council on your behalf.I told sigmund we had recently formed a girl group in case he asks about it.
>>30593>pet farmsOh, don't even get me started on those..
>>30596T> "Don't worry about it, its fine. I'm glad you made a good impression, there will be other opportunities."
>>30599No i will not let this injustice go.
*Tracy mouth-feeds her birds, for the 6 gorillionth time*
>>30601T> "Really, its okay. So I don't perform this once, big deal. I'm out of practice anyway, and I have to completely reassess my performance capabilities (this is true, her skill point modifiers are all fucked off now). Its actually better this way."
>>30602See this is what I'm talking about. Don't worry, you got this. Still, they're going to be running around and destroying shit before they're fully trained, don't doubt.
>>30603so thez didnt react to any of these?
>>30547>>30540>>30533 >>30603Your not mad at me a-are you?

How big is the central yard in the tower?
I keep meaning to have Tracy remind Slovenia to have the Stables renovated, but it always evades me..
>>30604She knew Infernius could just spontaneously heal himself, and that he was just being a drama queen.
>>30606he cant heal himself if hes seizing.
>>30607What's his Concentration rank?
>>30603>they're going to be running aroundWhere can Tracy let them run around?
>>30609we should make an aviary.
>>30611It'd have to be a bigger than the tower though.. These creatures range from Gargantuan to Colossal.
I though about a large perch though, for Huge flying creatures. I still want to build that castle in the mountains one day too.
>>30604I'm sorry, I thought you were shit-posting. 8O Of course she would have reacted. We can assume the Thez and Taylor dialogue occurred slightly earlier when Sigmund first showed up.
>>30605"No, I was occupied with something else that day, its nothing to worry about."
>>30606Friggin' huge. There's a holodeck also. You guys have completely ignored the middle section. I know I was vague about omitting details, but you've only explored half the thing. The forge area is in the relative basement, on the opposite end of the Tower. Also, the birds will be able to perch on the Tower when they get to size.
>>30614>holodeckThis.
Can we grind experience in there?
>>30516Just stop doing passive aggressive bullshit intentionally to piss me off. That's
much worse for the continuation of the game than anything as petty as post deletion.
>he would have been stabbed precisely 17 times by now, 4 under conditions tang would have been life threateningOh yeah well
I have had to do charting myself to keep him from doing full round attacks on her until she is dead. And when the hell were these 17 times? I don't understand your character well enough to avoid these
>>30614Yep.
>>30615>>30616Sure
>>30617No, but combat skills and feats yes.
The black lines indicate stuff. One of those is the vault, and one is the infirmary. The whole structure is connected by a long spiral staircase that whisks the person to their desired spot.
Oh, the forge is the one at the bottom
>>30619>combat skills and feats.. I can characters gain feats through training?
>>30621Well, some feats require "training" to gain. For example, two-weapon fighting is one I was going to require a competent teacher for, since the character would otherwise have to roll around using 2 weapons for a while, incurring penalties and such. With the holodeck characters can grind feats in their off hours. I am of the mind that some feats - particularly cobat feats -
should be grind-able.
>>30622Do trained feats still take-up spots for bonus feat selection?
>>30623See
>>30618 because I know you are not done
>>30624I'll do that when I find a ride home.
Torcuil could practice "Shot on the Run", rather than stew in his cave Xp
Tracy could practice Skill Focus: Edge
Not sure what sort of combat technique Trump would practice, but he could.
But, this also leaves players open to being fucked with by other players. Only the rooms prevent that.
>>30623No, they don't. ^_~
>>30622so what happend when infernuis got sick?
>>30627One of the guys from Sparintenar runs forward and starts patting Infernius on the chest.
"Sir! Are you okay? ARE YOU OKAY?"
>>30628But you can assume to not have time to work on magic items though. Xp
>>30630I couldn't help it. Since I'm not sure exactly what you have in mind, Thez would first determine whether or not he was injured or whatever, and if unresponsive she would <whooooof> to the entertron.
>>30631hes screaming about his head and seizing. even after hes in the entertron.
>>30628Can it virtually-generate enemies for Tracy to grind Improved Death Attack and Stealth-related Feats?
For that matter, could
>>30631With the right Feats, you don't need magick items. Less expensive too.
>>30632"How is that possible?" How IS that possible?
>>30634>>30635*infernuises eyes roll back in his head*
"thez it hurts it hurts."
I do want to craft that duct tape though..
>>30633"Hey, Infernius, can you cast a Spell on this Glue?
>>30636One more question. Can it simulate Motion? If a couple players wanted to simulate hunting Devourers at high speed with the Ghost-Mobile, would that be possible?
>>30638He's having seizures at the moment
>>30637Uhm,... unless Infernius is hungry, the Entertron is supposed to fix anything. I'm,... Thez is,... completely unsure how to respond to this situation.
>>30638Devourers are weak enough you don't need a ghostmobile to do it
\r
>>30641Oh, with the exception of Soros, I haven't even started messing with monster advancement. Almost every monster can easily be ranked up in size/HD/ability
>>30642Which reminds me, how can I advance Fae?
>>30642>The devourers are biggerBut that's only an issue if you're a bitch
>>30641>>30645im not fighting devourers without the ghost mobile they can trap your soul my man.
>>30646>>30638What's the point of fighting devourers anyways? They live on the extra-planar realm so they are not a harm to anyone, at least no one who isn't evil, and they leave behind no treasure.
You're better off looking for creatures on this plane to fight
\r
>>30646I got your message, and I'm even more at a loss.
>>30641>Devourers are weak Stronger than a young adult black dragon; they can suck out your spirit essence too, killing your character permanently. They're the creepiest pasta, basically made to punish players for using Ethereal haxx for too long. Besides, the ghost mobile is supposed to be for long-distance, convenient travel.
>>30642This
Not to mention Templates. Just imagine a Vampiric, Paragon Red Dragon attacking suddenly.
>>30644I too would like to know this, for Tracy's birds
and Tracy. This has got to be the strangest request I've ever gotten
>>30650I'm still going to have to file devourers under the "why" category
>>30647The Ghost Mobile could be used for ebin, strategic Blitzkrieg haxx, if mastered properly.
>>30647>they are not a harm to anyoneThey're a threat to anyone anywhere. They shift between Ethereal, Astral and Material planes at will, not unlike Nightmares.
>>30652You said you wanted to fight undead, right?
>>30651>>30653its pretty original though.
>>30654you had me at blitzkrieg.
Alright, so Infernius is freaking the fuck out cuz reasons, and Thez is freaking the fuck out cuz he's freaking the fuck out inside the "Make u all better" box.
>>30657I've been reading about Nightmare and Fiend tactics a lot. They make for ebin shock attacks, carrying their allies straight through ramparts and castle walls, I want to fully exploit that, with a chariot of equal match.
>>30658You'll want it when we're fighting gods/titans/etc.
>>30660im gonna make a keen undead bane lance.
*infernuis stops vomiting*
>>30661I don't think we are likely to get that far.
We have enough things we need to worry about now
>>30662Better also learn to rebuke them, so we can just run them over.
I want to crack them open and see what's inside.
>>30665Dream big, Anon.
Expect the best; prepare for the worst.
>>30665i intend to play until we are level 40.
>>30667>untilI want to acquire forbidden magick to make the characters into immortal demigods and take over the world, then lead an endless cavalry across the planes, growing stronger with every victory, and consuming every world in their path.
We Wild Hunt Nao.
Dream big.
>>30666>>30667Let's save it until we all like each other. In the mean time, no chariot
>what insideNothing of value. If you want treasure and valuable corpses, hunt dragons
>>30670Devourers may carry the spirit essence of their victims for a long time. By destroying the Devourer you free the soul inside.
>>30673we 100% need to save whoever we can.
>>30673>>30674I definitely do not want to do this
>>30678it is ethically wrong to leave them there.
>>30672IKR!
>>30675Isn't it the heroic thing to do to repose the trapped souls instead of letting them get slowly eaten away by some undead abomination? Also, if we exterminate enough of them, we might be able to find out where they come from, and save the world from the undead forever.
>>30680As I have said before, no chariot until we actually like each other
>>30681We have more important, more short term problems than looking for monsters to slay
>>30684
You said just this week that you wanted to go hunting red dragons because they're a threat to the world? Devourers are a threat to everyone. At least you can see red dragons when they're about to attack you, and they don't steal your freaking soul.
>>30685Tell you what, work out whatever your character's issues and your personal problems are, and maybe the Game will work well enough that it will be possible to do these things
>>30683same goes for you buddy
\r
>>30681>>30685Seriously, Devourers
are creepy AF, they're like Akuma from D.Gray Man
>>30686>Art of Deal intensifies >>30688Because the character (and player) dynamic is fucked and it makes no sense to proceed on anything that requires cooperation until that is resolved
If I learned anything from hundreds of hours on Civ IV Rhyse and Fall, it's never go on a campaign of conquest while you're on the brink of civil war
>>30689civil war? there are no threats that we know of right now other than the drow.
>>30687Ikr. Fuck liches and nightwalkers. Devourers are the creepiest past.
Also, the party needs to learn how to fight undead in extraplanar environments, if they ever want to go to the NEP and come back alive.
>>30690Fix your character, then we'll talk
>>30691We're never going to the NEP
>>30692What's wrong woith his character?
And why don't you want to (eventually) go fight the shadows in the NEP?
>>30692what are you even talking about? about me wanting to save the valuable souls?
>>30692bullshit the voidstone can kill the terrasque we are going
>>30692Seriously. Now you know why Lenos was so adamant with Infernius that one time.
>>30693We'll talk about "eventually" after you let me see your flowcharts
>>30694The voidstone will kill you and the Tarrasque is dead
>>30694>wanting to save the valuable soulsThis, desu.
Characters with Codes of Conduct are often required to do all they can to save innocents from evil, especially the undead who defy the logic of the gods. It'd make sense for Infernius's character to feel spiritually obligated to repose those souls who were trapped in that place worse than death, being a Cleric.
>>30696Didn't I tell you I threw the booklet away?
>>30699Either tell me what Tracy wants and doesn't want (because I don't fucking know), or accept that Trumpaladin is the lover she deserves. And stop passive aggressively insulting me at random points without provocation
> required to do all they can to save innocents from evilEven if that evil is a nominal waifu
>>30698I don't understand what you don't understand

>>30701why would killng the terasque not be saving the innocent?
>>30702thats the best part though.

>>30708True, and the only NPCs who know are the ants. XD
>>30708and you didn't even say that in character.
>>30710Ignorance is strength. Embrace it. Besides, attacking such a beast from multiple points is better than all inside a vehicle
>>30712Why would I have said that in character???
>BECAUSE WE KILLED IT A MONTH AGO
>Characters don't know that
>>30713we would use that cart on the terasque thats stupid.
>>30715That would just leave all of us vulnerable to all of its attacks at once. THAT is stupid
>>30715>>30714We're not going to allocate in game resources to fighting an enemy the characters have every reason to believe is gone
>waiting for email response>>30715Next time we have to deal with it, make sure Torc has Reverse Gravity prepared, so he can cast it underneath the beast and make it flail helplessly in the air.
>>30717Chariot is useful for a wide variety of things

>>30721I don't want a damn chariot until other things are settled
>>30722I fucking know righ? I hate how Paladins are the strongest melee fighters, yet I'm still very weak comparatively because that ain't worth shit >>30723You have to be in the material plane to do damage
>>30719For Torcuil, that's a range of 260'. It allows for a saving throw if solid objects or towers with gravity fields are within grasp.
And yes, its a field effect so directed spell resistance is avoided
>>30725we could blink back to the material realm after we dodged the attack.
>>30723Idk about direct attacks, but it would certainly help Transport the characters around very quickly.
>>30724>strongest melee>what is fighter? >>30728Why the actual fuck are you arguing with me and trying to correct me here? I was agreeing with you about how the classes are imbalanced and trying to be nice, and then you respond with insulting sarcastic bullshit. Fuck you
>>30727That's not how it works, we'd still be vulnerable, but I don't give a shit. I'm not continuing this stupid argument about a meta-gaming issue.
Any further post on this argument will be deleted
>>30729I'm not arguing. Fighter is just the strongest melee. Not good at very much else though.
Paladin's are great in their own way though. Their skills and spells are specialized for the purpose of helping/saving others, and they excel at slaying ebil creatures. Being immune to plague helps when you're trying to save the kingdom too.
>>30678stop trying to start drama.
>>30730The party's need for a spoopy mystery machine can be addressed on an as needed basis. I agree that there is no need, and all the crafting is building several trebuchets and training cannon teams. At best, spoopy car is a "next time" at best.

>still stuck here for a while>>30746Well, I like Black knights because they're so much like Paladins, only not bound by a preset creed. The Code of Conduct requires that Paladins always think of others before themselves, respect authority, and never fight for their own personal interest; fug that white-knight BS. A Blackguard fights for power, glory, and whatever personal/traditional reason it is that motivates them to their cause; in Tracy's case, that's for the good of her family. I love knights, but I'm not fond of being bound to a pre-determined creed. For those reasons, I find they make great anti-heroes, and anti-hero is the best character imo.
Also, they're edgy, summon fiends, usually wear badass horned armor, fight any way they want (including tricks, sneak attacks, and poison) and command undead instead of just turning them.
It's my favored class, a knight who fight for his own reasons, and doesn't immediately lose all his cool powers if he changes his mind. Fighter/Blackguard is best combo imo, although not as great as Fallen Pali.
