>>29905 So Tracy is in her dungeon right now, tearing up dirt, and collecting everything she can find? >>29903 Where is Torcuil right now? Is anyone in the tower ATM?
>>29907 >dexterous hooves Not really.. Their cartoonish abilities are rather inconsistent. They can always pic up items they're familiar with though. >>29909 Yes, to give Trump's faggot one less thing to complain about.
>>29911 It does sound important. However, being in the tower you do hear some unusual sounds from the stable are, along with Trollestia very clearly and unmistakably saying: "Um,"
>>29920 But why though? She was clearly intent on searching every inch of the dungeon for buried treasure. I can't imagine why she would divert from that,....
>>29922 Don't you police me on meta-gaming. I had her sit on those eggs for two weeks, instead of killing commies and whatnot. I'm not about to let her miss this. >>29923 She wasn't making very much progress picking them one-by-one, so she got bored and gave up.
>>29930 I don't think so, I'm inclined she was pretty successful, kept finding piece after piece and was difficult to distract from her task. >>29932 #megagaming
>>29933 Rude >>29934 >Your Tracy's Cage-ite is reacting with your meta-braclet >animation >Your Tracy meta evolved into Meta Faggot >>29935 Uh, based on his kilt and shit, a dark dark yellow
>>29936 She's getting called in the moment it becomes obvious Trumpaladin doesn't have the animal handling skills to teach these younglings the pledge of allegiance
T> "Banana?" (more awkward than normal face. A beak pokes through the top of one egg, while the other egg wiggles sideways and rolls on the floor. A shrill sound of "BEEEEEEEEEEP" can be heard issuing from the brokwn egg.
>>29952 I dunno, its like a bleat, except avian and giant-sized-infantile. >>29954 >steam The egg that's already broken breaks a bit more, and though it goes against all evidence, a bird head peeks out.
>>29961 >Is too flushed and hormonal to respond like normal "~Teehee.. he's hungry..." she chuckles deliriously >>29966 *dumps out a broom-closet's worth of Elephant meat* *grows to full size* *begins pre-chewing*
[1d20 = 5] >>29967 Is that all? I thought you wanted to go random-magic-item shopping. Thats what the bazaar is btw. You find lots of compasses. >>29969 B> Bite The fallen-over egg begins to crack from strikes.
>>29973 Well that too, but at the very least Torc wants a compass He is gonna start map making so he knows where the hell everything is >>29975 >elephant Wut?
>>29983 Then she'll shrink after she sticks her head in it's mouth, and vomit from internal pressure; also, she's in warhorse form. Don't ruin this for me!
[1d20 = 19] >>29984 It doesn't take much insistence to be able to have a face get nommed, which could then be spewed into. The one on the ground breaks out of the top and grapples Trump's leg.
>*sounds of muffled barfing and deflating pony* *feeds baby bird* *withdraws head* (because even birds gag when they do that shit) "There, there.." she coos softly *moves to fill stomach again and move on to birdie #2*
>>30012 >hostile Oh hush, you. Learn to handle the bantz. >>30015 Certainly good urban stability. There's hardly anyone else in this state who was born and raised here.. Almost everyone else either moved here from somewhere else or is planning to go somewhere in the future.. Florida is still best state though.
>>30019 >>30020 Had a gator in our pool, gators across the road in the ditch, in the neighbor's yard, my county has more gators than people, and we have a special festival for alligators
>>30019 Ah fuck, it hurt to write something against my home state. I love you Texas >>30021 Wait, really? A festival? Also, how do you feel about gator tail?
>>30024 You don't go to the best country held captive by the Union for the shitposting. You come for the superior food, low cost of living, and homely feel
>>30025 Of course. Laso first, then tie legs. Like they do at the Rodeo
>>30028 Only certain kinds of bestiality are illegal here. It's illegal to have sex with porcupines (they do it on a case-by-case basis, because they don't want to deal with the resistance)...
Before leaving with Fae, Trumpaladin sets up a music player to play in infinite loop a set of American patriotic songs to slowly drive the equines insane ingrain the spirit of patriotism into his fiance's adopted children
>>30049 I don't know, but if Thez can do pop concerts and I could arrive in Port Barry to "Shoot to Thrill" I can play America the Beautiful and the Marine Corp Hymm on loop in the stables
>>30050 They have adorable downy fluff. >are they man? Idk yet.
Tracy spends the remainder of the day feeding the birdies and keeping them warm, and watching to prevent cainism. >>30051 >>30052 Let them sleep first.
>>30054 Birds take priority. You have to watch birds of prey at this age, to make sure one doesn't kill the other. >playing music while they sleep >being this bluepilled on falconry Don't play music to chicks, especially not when they first hatched. It makes them retarded and unable to understand commands.
>>30055 I just figured she'd want to do something like that with husbando eventually. She'd have many hours until the game, and then could just have Trollestia watch them.
We can play other things to them (like Locke's Second Treatise on audiobook)
>>30058 >could just have Trollestia watch them lol no >play other things Wait until they're mature, or else it fucks with their heads and command comprehension. >Tracy's faggot raised falcons as a teenager, and a couple eagles. >>30062 >Would they be drowning-in-the-fucking-rain retarded? With recorded music? Yes.
>>30066 My father raised turkeys, you couldn't leave them in the rain because they would drown. Fucking retards. Torc desides to turn in because nothing concerns him, but his faggot will still lurk
>>30089 >>30088 Somebody once told me the world is gonna roll me I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed She was looking kind of dumb with her finger and her thumb In the shape of an "L" on her forehead Well the years start coming and they don't stop coming Fed to the rules and I hit the ground running Didn't make sense not to live for fun Your brain gets smart but your head gets dumb So much to do, so much to see So what's wrong with taking the back streets? >>30096 [growling pony noises] Idk if that's allowed, desu. I used to hum to my birds, but only when they were adolescents. Also, isn't he still at the bazaar?

>Tracy's faggot lets out a sigh, trying not to be pointlessly triggered by memories of falcons that couldn't even fly straight because their heads were so fucked up after idiots at the aviary mishandled them
"Traveling in a fried-out Kombi On a hippie trail, head full of zombie I met a strange lady, she made me nervous She took me in and gave me breakfast And she said."
>>30164 What sucks is that the manager didn't have the crop to fire them, and they did it again with the same results. I actually almost got arrested for beating the shit out of one guy who thought it'd be fun to bring a portable boombox to the aviary... Seriously. Don't play music to baby birds. It's just tragic to watch them grow up fucked-up from the start...
>>30167 Oh God, now I'm triggered. Yesterday, I had to listen to a presentation in a legal seminar by a woman (student) who was breaking down crying as she was talking about how the English proficiency requirement in Naturalization tests was racist, and how evil it was that "whiteness" was central to the idea of being American for a long period of time
>>30169 Thank you for the information >almost arrested I got the cops called on me for campaigning for Trump, that was a fun day. >>30172 oh god I want to die Why are people so retarded
>>30175 >>30174 >I got the cops called on me for campaigning for Trump Thank you for your service
Like she asked people in the class first to sum up America in one word, and she said that for most of history it was "whiteness." She went on talking about how assimilation was oppression. Not quite but almost crying. This was a white girl at a fairly high ranked law school talking about her paper for the class. Disturbing
>>30187 i would feel that way too if i hadn't seen so many niggers chimp out over the smallest shit. >We came here first, and we built this country Fucking This.

>>30179 >>30181 Thanks. The cops came after the guy called (I was standing on the side walk infrount of his buiness by a voting site) realized the call was bullshit, and then promptly left. >>30179 >pukes >>30190 >prepares popcorn for cinematic
>>30195 Nah, Torc isn't that kind of faggot (he's probably the least gay of this mix, tbh...); he's just terrified of contact with other sentient creatures because he's a 40+ year old cave-NEET.
>>30201 Idk. He'll show up sooner or later. >>30202 >bind a Minotaur My character recently invented duct tape... Idk if it was ever finished though. Careful though. He belongs to Thez.

>>30308 >>30306 >>30306 I can't deal with fucking mystery. Like I made that big post about meta gaming a couple days ago, it was a reply to him, and he was the only person not to acknowledge it. And now he does shit like "guess what I mean by "your mental retardation."" If you're going to insult me, fucking say what you mean. Because I have no idea what you are talking about. COMMUNICATE

>>30315 "On the same token, you're gonna have to let it go about me raping Trump. That was NOT consentual, it was NOT romantic, it was NOT intimate, it was just >rape. >>30319 "You're the one who let the cat out of the bag! Don't EVEN get me started on you, this was supposed to be "that awkward question Thez asked Infernius one time that was never mentioned again but noooooooooo,...."
>>30321 "I asked you about telling Tracy, and you said "be careful about how you incite her jealousy, but you could." And of course I wasn't going to keep such an important piece of information secret. It's one of those things she had the right to know about"
>>30326 Jews didn't invent the practice, but a few of the orthodox use it. It's basically a magic scroll that warns you whenever you're about to do something less than %100 football, so you don't fall by accident.
>>30325 "But I don't want to play. I want to fix things"
>>30327 "It needed to be said sometime. I wanted to tell her in private. She didn't want to leave the stables, and no one else did. In fact, it WAS said in private, just through empathic link, but everyone here is such metagaming faggots that they don't understand they can't hear what is said in empathic link, and Torcuil's faggot forgot he said his character left to go in town"
>>30328 Well yes, but I think it's a forehead thing that's basically a jewish practice
>>30330 I always saw a phylactery as the center/focal-piece of a hidden or buried shrine, at least as far as liches are concerned. For magic items or priest reliquary I have them as "elaborate accessory." Kind of like a wallet-chain.
>>30332 This. The practice of writing prayers (on in this case spells) on a scroll ahead of time to store the power of the verses is a practice seen in every culture that had written language. >>30334 >as well Just have a phylactery with the black sun, and keep the swastika brand as your holy symbol.
Cuz Thez is technically still in the stables with Tracy. "Hey, you can scribe scrolls can't you? I think I overheard you saying something about scrolls. I could be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure it was you. Can you scribe scrolls?"
>>30345 "Okay, thanks!" Thez is excited by the information. She pets the <nom,... struggle,... POP> bird who just tried to eat her. "I'll be sure to be covered with blood and gore next time I come this way," she says all cute and like one would to a child. Baby-talk essentially. >>30352 Not quite yet, they're still newborns. Give 'em a day.
>>30353 >There is no way a Roc could possibly hunt and return 60 times in a day They hunt big creatures. >>30353 >just leave out chopped meat for them to peck Not intimate enough.
>>30360 "Hmmmm. I don't know about elephants, but I've heard guys at the Fight Club mention these furry things they see every so often. Monmoths? Mahmoud? Mammoths! Yeah, I hear there are Mammoths in the area.
*manages to remove head* "There, there, baby.." >>30363 "PLEASE refill the bag first." *gently pets birds to calm them* >>30366 "Really? That sounds like fun. Maybe I'll try hunting around there some time."
>>30195 Oh, now you're just being a dick >>30196 >least gay Who is the most? >>30197 Better >>30254 Okay, what the fuck did I miss? >>30375 Figures >>30378 Tell me about it, Torc was first
>>30381 Rapes of characters while faggots are away are invalid, and you were being a bitch by personally insulting so I figured I'd do it to piss you off
>>30398 Then players and characters should make better use of the rooms. There's more to them than shiny foot-lockers (except Tracy's room, she broke hers).
>>30419 Why the hell did you rape infernius with Trump standing by you >>30420 Why did you let it happen >>30422 Torc will help infernius kill if Infernius gets him
>>30451 SIEG HEIL >>30452 "Give me a second Infernius, I need to ask a favor of Troll for this one." Torc strolls to the stables, whistling Scotland the Brave
Tracy's Faggot, I know you hate to talk about anything personal, but unless you at some point talk about the obvious tension that's existed for two months I do not see how this game can continue
>>30433 Dammit. Fine, it's because you play a very shitty romantic partner as a character. Session after session, you behave in such a way as if you believe that just because this character is supposed to be in love with yours that you can just treat her however you want to without consequences. Lately, since I stopped charting so intensely and applying Good Boi Points to the math, I've had to play her in character think of all the crap you do to her every day: You casually talk about taking away her child or forcing an abortion; you chronically flirt with her female friends, even when you know she'd never do the same to you; you suggest killing her pets like it's nothing; you try to set up all kinds of arbitrary restrictions on what she can/can't do; you never trust her even in the least bit, even though her only motivation is the well-being of her family; you expect that just because she's been loyal and obedient in the past that she would continue to blindly follow your orders without her own input; you watch her like a hawk and try to change things about her to make her less edgy, instead of trying to sway your own character towards her even the slightest bit; and worst of all, you act as if by rewarding her with affection you can shirk-off all of the above and much more, just because you know she'll forgive him. Is that how you treat normal, hoo-man women irl? How do you maintain healthy relationships like that? Holy shit. When I did this with math, it was relatively easy for me to apply "unconditional love" as a constant, but I was always writing-off negative points just to keep the game moving smoothly. Did you notice that your character is the only one who's been here for three months but hasn't been stabbed by her? Do you really think he never did anything to deserve it, or that she never had a reason to be angry at him? Even Thez had her tail cut off when Tracy had the opportunity to do it. Your playing a relationship with a character who has, unconditionally and unwaveringly, given your character her utmost devotion, but just treat that feactor like it's some kind of haxx to push her around because you know she'll still love him. If I were committed to playing an actual yandere character, he would've been stabbed/wounded precisely 17 times by now, four of which during circumstances that she would've had every opportunity to kill him. At this point, the only thing "yandere" about her is her willingness to continue to give her unconditional affection even when her partner doesn't deserve it. I've done plenty of romantic RP logs and even co-authored a few short stories, and this is quite honestly the most annoying kind of person to write with (especially when playing the girl, which is already the hard part btw): the guy who think he can just play a pushy, manipulative, inconsiderate dick, just because "she already loves me"; it's infuriating, and it makes the romantic game so much harder to play. Gosh, it reminds me of my cousin's manipulative prick of an ex-boyfriend: she was absolutely crazy for him, and he knew that full well and constantly pushed her boundaries. Fuck! tl;dr I say I'm not as antagonistic as I could be because any other character I've played/designed would've either snapped violently or become spitefully subversive by now, but Tracy has only been 100% loving and affectionate all the fucking time, and I've kept it that way because I know you'd do something retarded, like cut her legs off or try string her up and suffocate her fetus, at the slightest sign of grumpiness or hostility.
I have my own reasons for why I don't like you, like how you delet posts whenever you feel like it because you think things will disappear if you censor them hard enough, but in character Tracy has only ever been a loving, devoted partner. I'd say more about out of character stuff, but I've got tests tomorrow, so I'm going to bed.
>>30473 Well, for starters, you delet countless posts at your own discretion just because you feel like it, and you have a chronic habit of taking everything so personally that you even allow your shitty personality to leak into things as dandy as RPGs. *goes to bed and unplugs computer*
>>30468 First off, you know the relationship was pushed on me right? Like, you know I did not want it, and then Torcuil and GM pushed it on me, and so now I’m in it.
>If I were committed to playing an actual yandere character, he would've been stabbed/wounded precisely 17 times by now, four of which during circumstances that she would've had every opportunity to kill him. This is my biggest problem with the character, because when the fuck were those 17 times? Like really, what pisses her off? I have no idea what triggers her, what she doesn’t like, what you don’t like, because everything is charted out on math I don’t understand. I never watch anime. I don’t know Yandere tropes. I have no idea what kind of insane girl you are basing her on. The only experience I have with Yanderes comes from real life experience with a small number. And I have never been stabbed by one. Never. One stabbed herself, but I have never been stabbed, and I have no idea what the hell triggers it. Like what the fuck does your character want?
I have no idea what the hell your character wants. Remember when I made a list of 12 possible things I could tell or ask Tracy, and dismissed them all as “but she isn’t interested,” and then you replied “every single one of those things is wrong, every single one of them”? That’s how little I understand the character. Seriously, I am that ignorant about what your character wants. I figured she wanted affection, so I gave her that. Aside from that, I have no idea. > I stopped charting so intensely and applying Good Boi Points to the math WHAT THE FUCK IS ON YOUR CHARTS? I swear to God it would be easier to decode the Voynich Manuscripts than to figure out what your character wants from mine, because I don’t know. > you suggest killing her pets like it's nothing That was meta, never in game > you never trust her even in the least Because you fully intend on violating that trust 100%. Like you openly talk about doing things while he isn’t away. > you chronically flirt with her female friends, even when you know she'd never do the same to you I’ll concede this one. It’s because I had intended on playing a polygynist character. I’d never do that with an IRL woman, ever, but I’m playing the Waifu Thief here, so he does that. > arbitrary restrictions on what she can/can't do Not poisoning an unborn child with mutagens is not arbitrary. Neither is not eating human flesh. > You casually talk about taking away her child or forcing an abortion Oh that was very far from casual. That was dead serious. Think of it as a custody determination in a divorce. And divorce is a messy as all hell affair.
>Is that how you treat normal, hoo-man women irl? I have never dated a woman who was inclined to eat human flesh. I have never known a person who was inclined to eat human flesh. In fact, in working with District Attorney’s Offices and Criminal Appeals and Immigration agencies, I’ve seen a lot of shit. I have dealt with a refugee who stabbed his social worker in the eye and dry humped her, and a guy who threw a can of sulfuric acid at four small children that exploded and burned off their faces. A guy who raped his seven-year-old step daughter over a year. A man sentenced to death because he raped and killed his wife, drowned his seven-year-old step daughter in a bathtub, then picked his two step sons up from church intent on killing them. A Narcoterrorist commander whose unit killed 200+ people in the Columbian Civil war. All sorts of horrifying stories of rape and violence from the gang wars in Central America, besides so many cases of manslaughter and domestic violence. I have never, never second-hand known someone who would eat human flesh. Tell me please, have you ever dated anyone whose moral character was worse than most death row inmates or people the US government felt were important enough to have extradited from foreign prison?
Tl;dr What the hell does your character want from me, because I don’t know What do YOU want from me, because I don’t know, and I want to get past all of this. \r
>>30477 Okay, but will you really give it a chance? And see >>30475 because I am dead serious when I say I do not understand your character (or you) at all.
>sigh Sorry folks, but winter is the time of year that GM's job suddenly and liberally involves the use of a 15lb sledge-hammer. He frequently finds himself passed the fuck out where not intending to have, often when he was in the middle of doing stuff. Its not narcolepsy, but it looks that way over the internet. With that said,....
The delegation from Sparintenar consists of about 15 bright-eyed, enthusiastic, minimally disciplined individuals all wearing combat fatigues and all strapped with a (now consistent and identifiable) large combat knife. They all await Trump (or a suitable representative) with a slightly dismissive degree of discipline, meaning they stop being discipline to fuck with or talk shit to one another. Many comments about one another's mom are tossed back and forth.
In addition to the youths, is Sigmund, who appears to have a hand-cart that has a series of books stacked on it. He is happy to indicate that he is waiting and must speak with both Taylor and Trump at their earliest convenience, though he his quite content to look around (literally look, he's staying in place until participated with).
>>30485 This is that damned part of year where the apartment complex switches the air-conditioner to a heat pump so it heats, and then the Schizophrenic weather changes and it can be 80 degrees inside for days at a time. It's miserable. Thankfully the weather is staying cold for now, but it happened the last two Decembers
Trumpaladin rides in to the scene on Gleaming Brass Dragonne, who herself would be a suitable respresentative for the group, as "For Those About to Rock" plays as he glides down. He dismounts and stands besides Fae, taking off his helmet, and showing his luscious hair.
>>30486 Ever one to make an entrance, and in standard form, Trump arrives and wows the crowd to sounds of awe. "Well met Mr. Trump! I have been instructed by Baz to relay a bit of information. These youths have been selected to take part in a Football-exchange program. They are tasked with living in, working with, and experiencing Football in its natural habitat for a period to be determined, until such a time as they can be observed to know and can speak to Football freely and unrestrained. You may consider them 1st level hirelings, but without any of the leadership restrictions, since technically they're Baz'. As for myself I must speak at length with Taylor if she is available and not raping anyone for the moment. There is much to discuss with regard to her record contract, and already there have been requests for scheduling and events."
"If everything proceeds within reasonable parameters of 'as planned', then these lads are the beginning of what will come to be known as the Spartan Football Team." This is a big deal to the Spartans, they've never known another nation-state that was 'proper' enough to engage in any sort of competitive exchange or venture. Basically, they see Port Barry as maybe containing proper rivals.
These people sound like the actual historical spartans, losing discipline the moment they are away from home. They are perfect
Fae stands majestically, although ready to speak on the subject of the sacred ball the instant needed
Trump to Sigmund: "Send my regards to Baz. He has sent a very fine group here, as expected of the stock of Sparintenar. They will not be disappointed, nor will he. As for Tay, I really can't say where she is at the moment"
To the men "Gentleman, you are here to learn Football. You already know much of it, since the most essential elements are also essential elements of military training. The ability to work together as a team. The ability to take orders. To tackle, and to take hits. To be loyal to and supportive of a team. Individual players can stand out as heroes and receive fame if they do well enough. Where you must fill in your knowledge are those bits of Football that are, well, American. That is where I hope to help you the most. The shear excitement of the Touchdown, the pleasure of the tailgate party, merchandising. Wearing lucky clothing on game day. All the tactics and statistics that make the game unique. And most importantly of all... The legend, of John Elway"
Thez <whooofs> to the scene. "Sigmund! It's been too long,... WAY too long! How are the negotiations proceeding with my contract." Sigmund eyballs her twice, and adjusts his glasses. "Yes of course. Who are you exactly?" T>"I'm,... Thez,... I sent,... Trump had,... mu contract." "Miss, that was no laughing matter. I don't know how you happened to fabricate one of our contracts so effectively, but I can say that it was both an impressive and insulting forgery. You clearly have no respect for the amount of time and effort that goes into one of these arrangements to so whimsically attempt to defraud one, and our company has no interest in doing business with you, thank you!" He finishes in a huff.
Trump recalls the part where Baz indicated that "Only a player could possibly recognize or remember this contract." (referring to Thez')
>>30492 "Oh yes, there are definitely parties. Drinking and merriment, and the game itself is a sort of merriment. But you must maintain your discipline during the game to win. In that regard it is no different than war."
>>30493 With that, the youths adopt a more formal stance, displaying that they do still have discipline. >Baz She would say "Who is Baz?", but at the moment she's been crushed. Basically, she's now realizing that even though the contract survived the reboot, no one from Sparintenar actually remembers her natural 20 (using live dice) on her performance check, which already has a +27 modifier, and thus her most magnificent improv concert essentially cease to exist. She also realizes that without magic, she can't do instant-shows anymore.
>>30494 "You came on the perfect day, because tonight is a Football game. You will watch the game in our grand Cathedral the way all the citizenry of Port Barry do, and the way the citizenry of Sparintenar shall when an appropriate counterpart structure is built in your city. After receiving a quick overview of how the game is played, you will partake in the Tailgating, the Nacho eating, the beer drinking, and all the associated revelry as you watch the game played before you. That'll be tonight
When that is over, you shall retire to our monestary. That location shall become your home until your leader sees fit to recall you. In the morning, you shall participate in practice, along side our Generals, our mendicant order, and from my magnificent priestess here" Fae stands Magnificently "You shall practice on the training field and you shall receive instruction on the Art of the Game indoors. If you learn well enough, play well enough, you shall graduate to become your own team."
Trumpaladin tears up at this moment "If you learn the game well enough, by God, you will have not only truly earn the right to call yourselves Spartans - the Game being the epitome of the Spartan virtues - you might just earn the right to be American"
>>30495 One of the youths speaks up. "Sir, uhm, Mr. Trump? Our orders are to not return. We are not return until we know Football to such a degree that our time would be wasted. Baz sends us to understand Football to such a point that we may speak at length and without reservation of,... uhm,... I forget his name already, but he's the guy who you're always supposed to mention alongside Football. So we're supposed to learn to speak of Football, but not only speak of but BE Football, and until we are, we're definitely down for some nachos <appreciative murmurs> beer <moar> and revelry <almost cheering at this point>." >>30496 Simplifying meta - If Trump were to press her for info, he would learn that Thez never met Baz in previous, so she would not know his name or designation. She did catch a glimpse of a tiny-fellow in a Halo suit (yes, oh yes) but never Baz and definitely not a squirrel with a bazooka.
>>30502 "But of course. Fae should accompany them, to give them the quickest of run downs. When they are settled in, they should probably see the city"
Since it was mentioned >>30475 >Torcuil and GM pushed it on me True, but lets be fair. At the time it began, it was a vetting process. I had no idea if you or anyone was serious or just trolling; I wasn't certain of either player's sincerity so I went with it. Desu, I thought both characters were trolls. >>30503 Checking Trump's pali, Sechs proceeds as directed. The city is quite to the Spartan's liking, being both simple and utilitarian but with a finesse and expertise of form that comes across without reference. Being accustomed to routines, they are quickly and easily able to modify their previous schedules to fit their new environment. Taylor (eventually) crosses paths with Sigmund, and both have a conversation that is consequential. Meanwhile, there's two adorable fuzz-birds in the stables. They're so cute, and dumb, and >nom on face "Sqweeeeee!" says the other, flapping its non-wings excitedly.
Having said, I have no regrets; this is the world where - in a certain sense - Tracy does get with Flash Sentry. Xp Also George Soros gets his shit cut off and BTFO.
>>30511 I guess I'd better step up the game then. Tracy has only killed two horses so far. Her would destroy entire countries out of jealousy, torture his children and drive his cohorts to suicide, and she'd do it all without Zeus noticing. I do base my Yandere writing theorems in part off of Greek mythology though. >>30513 Thanks. I g2g now.
Taylor eventually learns that there was a great reception to her performance and especially to associated news of the Emperor's demise. Her performance/appearance is greatly desired in the Grand Court (formerly Court City). And cuz I'm bored here is a shitty recolor
>stuck here for almost an hour, mobilefagging with borrowed phone >>30517 Good for her. >Tracy is reading about it in the Awoo News Paper Does the Grand Court still hold any sort of centralizing authority in the continent, now that the Emperor is gone? Or are they just a bunch of uprooted nobles waiting to get their throats slit?
>>30521 They don't have an army, the court is entirely administrative. They don't deal in war, they've just been positioned to make some semblance of order over the world of Kefka's reign.
And I still can't figure it out, what creatures can Tracy Command with her Paladin's Mount Ability? Does it really apply to all Ebil Outsiders, or just those few that would be listed as "fiends" in 5e?
>>30524 They're not known for being freaked, though there is uncertainty how to proceed in Kefka's absence. A Steward has been appointed to oversee operations in the meantime, but that is more of a reflex action than a permanent arrangement.
>>30525 Kek. I've been feeling like most of the creatures here would respond that way too. They're like Pacific Islanders: they don't know wtf "America" is, but they might be open to it if it gives them cool stuff and saves them from plagues.
>>30526 I have the feeling that Kefka wasn't very much of an administrator by how he behaved. I imagine the court did most of the work, even if they're all just a bunch of butt-kissers.
>>30510 After all the crap I've given my friends for texting while driving, I could never RIP if I died because I couldn't resist shitposting for a few minutes.
>>30539 The Phylacteries of Faithfulness that Tracy crafted earlier and had Infernius enchant: the football-shaped locket and a silver headband, both containing scrolls with the entirety of Mein Kampf and the Preachings of John Elway written very, very small, respectively. This way, the character will know right away when they're doing something Jewish or less than 100% Football, so that they won't Fall by accident.
What did Thez ask Tracy about her scroll-scribing before for again?
>>30494 >no one from Sparintenar actually remembers her natural 20 That's actually really quite sad.. it's like rolling quints without getting checked... That recording contract seemed really important to her.. Not to mention they might've not even recognized her anyway, since those posters were made while she was half fiend.
>>30547 *Begrudgingly drags bull to entertron after realizing that he's too dumb to heal himself* Btw, I didn't see any Truth Domain under the listed Domain spells lists. What Domain's spells are you using?
>>30567 Yeah, they don't get the same melee bonus as Paladin's but they can cause freaking Earthquakes once a day, not to mention that spontaneous Heal casting and channel power. Druids are cool in their own way though, and Rangers can are always the best at whatever it is they've chosen to do.
>>30572 K. So to reiterate: "Yes well, it is good that you're here. We've been in communication with the Grand Court, and they are most interested in your appearance and performance. News of your performance in Sparintenar made quite a stir it seems!"
>>30575 "Be careful of that one, she attempted to pass fraudulent documents through Mr. Trump. The board of executives has black-balled any billing or hiring of her."
>>30577 "If you would like to a meeting can be arranged, but it won't be any time soon. These are very busy people, you must understand. The contract (he indicates his stack of books) is specifically geared toward you being the sole talent present on stage, and there hasn't been any allowances made for additional staff."
Do I need to roll a die to start training these birds during the rearing? I want to at least be able to at least teach them "Come", "Heel" and "Down" before they get big enough to cause any serious damage.
>>30585 How could there be? They were entirely spontaneous, its not like tickets were sold. There WILL be profits for Sparintenar, but that will depend on her performances going forward.
>>30474 >tfw birds have only 2 Int The writers of these books greatly underestimate the intelligence of animals.. >>30581 >hilarious ??? I'm taking this from a wiki. I wanted to know when to roll, because some of these checks take several weeks.
>>30588 >Animal INT IKR? I'm not going by the "book" on animal OR monster INT, that's absurd, across the board for all general animals,... yeah. >>30588 Well, its not exactly an opposed check, so it can just be assumed to have happened. The first impression of one was Tracy, and the other was of Trump's face, so they're all-but imprinted at this point, barring significant trauma.
Oh, and to address the question about animal behavior references.
I'll start with inbred hamsters. When a hamster is properly sired and bred they develop into cohesive and social groups with the other hamsters they live around. This is observable in both wild and domestic hamsters. They share resources and responsibilities.
When hamsters are inbred, they increasingly begin hoarding and stealing everything available to them, be it resources, or in case of domestic, all the toys. In times of scarcity, they will - as a group (the whole inbred family) - will literally cannibalize other hamsters.
This is why pet farms are such a problem, but that's a rant for another day. The implications I was making by that reference is to beg the question: "If that's how hamsters act when they're inbred, how do people act?" refugees, for example
>>30591 Did you mean bonding of some kind? They're usually blind for the first several hours, minus the ability to tell light from dark. If you meant familiarity, birds are usually comfortable around the individual they spend the most time with, although the biggest factor is the person who knows how to handle them properly. Most birds are quite intelligent, and can recognize human faces easily; they're capable of recalling how an individual has treated them in the past, and they even hold grudges sometimes. Each bird is unique and needs to be handled in respect to its personality (which is subtle as fuck, but exists nonetheless), so trainers who spend a lot of time with their birds by default know how that bird needs to be treated. What they remember early on though is what sounds and patterns they associate with food, which is why you have to begin handling them all day on the first day to make sure their rewards and motor system is intact. If you expose them to loud noises or rhythmic music in the first couple days, it royally messes them up because they can't even eat/fly properly.
>>30601 T> "Really, its okay. So I don't perform this once, big deal. I'm out of practice anyway, and I have to completely reassess my performance capabilities (this is true, her skill point modifiers are all fucked off now). Its actually better this way." >>30602 See this is what I'm talking about. Don't worry, you got this. Still, they're going to be running around and destroying shit before they're fully trained, don't doubt.
>>30603 I mostly just want to keep them from killing each other. It sucks when the eaglets do that... How big is the central yard in the tower?
I keep meaning to have Tracy remind Slovenia to have the Stables renovated, but it always evades me.. >>30604 She knew Infernius could just spontaneously heal himself, and that he was just being a drama queen.
>>30611 It'd have to be a bigger than the tower though.. These creatures range from Gargantuan to Colossal. I though about a large perch though, for Huge flying creatures. I still want to build that castle in the mountains one day too.
>>30604 I'm sorry, I thought you were shit-posting. 8O Of course she would have reacted. We can assume the Thez and Taylor dialogue occurred slightly earlier when Sigmund first showed up. >>30605 "No, I was occupied with something else that day, its nothing to worry about." >>30606 Friggin' huge. There's a holodeck also. You guys have completely ignored the middle section. I know I was vague about omitting details, but you've only explored half the thing. The forge area is in the relative basement, on the opposite end of the Tower. Also, the birds will be able to perch on the Tower when they get to size.
>>30516 Just stop doing passive aggressive bullshit intentionally to piss me off. That's much worse for the continuation of the game than anything as petty as post deletion.
>he would have been stabbed precisely 17 times by now, 4 under conditions tang would have been life threatening Oh yeah well I have had to do charting myself to keep him from doing full round attacks on her until she is dead. And when the hell were these 17 times? I don't understand your character well enough to avoid these
>>30614 Yep. >>30615 >>30616 Sure >>30617 No, but combat skills and feats yes. The black lines indicate stuff. One of those is the vault, and one is the infirmary. The whole structure is connected by a long spiral staircase that whisks the person to their desired spot.
>>30621 Well, some feats require "training" to gain. For example, two-weapon fighting is one I was going to require a competent teacher for, since the character would otherwise have to roll around using 2 weapons for a while, incurring penalties and such. With the holodeck characters can grind feats in their off hours. I am of the mind that some feats - particularly cobat feats - should be grind-able.
Torcuil could practice "Shot on the Run", rather than stew in his cave Xp Tracy could practice Skill Focus: Edge Not sure what sort of combat technique Trump would practice, but he could. But, this also leaves players open to being fucked with by other players. Only the rooms prevent that. >>30623 No, they don't. ^_~
>>30628 But you can assume to not have time to work on magic items though. Xp >>30630 I couldn't help it. Since I'm not sure exactly what you have in mind, Thez would first determine whether or not he was injured or whatever, and if unresponsive she would <whooooof> to the entertron.
>>30628 Can it virtually-generate enemies for Tracy to grind Improved Death Attack and Stealth-related Feats? For that matter, could >>30631 With the right Feats, you don't need magick items. Less expensive too.
I do want to craft that duct tape though.. >>30633 "Hey, Infernius, can you cast a Spell on this Glue? >>30636 One more question. Can it simulate Motion? If a couple players wanted to simulate hunting Devourers at high speed with the Ghost-Mobile, would that be possible?
>>30637 Uhm,... unless Infernius is hungry, the Entertron is supposed to fix anything. I'm,... Thez is,... completely unsure how to respond to this situation.
>>30641 Oh, with the exception of Soros, I haven't even started messing with monster advancement. Almost every monster can easily be ranked up in size/HD/ability
>>30646 >>30638 What's the point of fighting devourers anyways? They live on the extra-planar realm so they are not a harm to anyone, at least no one who isn't evil, and they leave behind no treasure.
You're better off looking for creatures on this plane to fight \r
>>30641 >Devourers are weak Stronger than a young adult black dragon; they can suck out your spirit essence too, killing your character permanently. They're the creepiest pasta, basically made to punish players for using Ethereal haxx for too long. Besides, the ghost mobile is supposed to be for long-distance, convenient travel. >>30642 This Not to mention Templates. Just imagine a Vampiric, Paragon Red Dragon attacking suddenly. >>30644 I too would like to know this, for Tracy's birds and Tracy.
>>30647 The Ghost Mobile could be used for ebin, strategic Blitzkrieg haxx, if mastered properly. >>30647 >they are not a harm to anyone They're a threat to anyone anywhere. They shift between Ethereal, Astral and Material planes at will, not unlike Nightmares. >>30652 You said you wanted to fight undead, right?
Alright, so Infernius is freaking the fuck out cuz reasons, and Thez is freaking the fuck out cuz he's freaking the fuck out inside the "Make u all better" box.
>>30657 I've been reading about Nightmare and Fiend tactics a lot. They make for ebin shock attacks, carrying their allies straight through ramparts and castle walls, I want to fully exploit that, with a chariot of equal match.
>>30662 Better also learn to rebuke them, so we can just run them over. I want to crack them open and see what's inside. >>30665 Dream big, Anon. Expect the best; prepare for the worst.
>>30667 >until I want to acquire forbidden magick to make the characters into immortal demigods and take over the world, then lead an endless cavalry across the planes, growing stronger with every victory, and consuming every world in their path. We Wild Hunt Nao.
>>30672 IKR! >>30675 Isn't it the heroic thing to do to repose the trapped souls instead of letting them get slowly eaten away by some undead abomination? Also, if we exterminate enough of them, we might be able to find out where they come from, and save the world from the undead forever.
>>30684 You said just this week that you wanted to go hunting red dragons because they're a threat to the world? Devourers are a threat to everyone. At least you can see red dragons when they're about to attack you, and they don't steal your freaking soul.
>>30685 Tell you what, work out whatever your character's issues and your personal problems are, and maybe the Game will work well enough that it will be possible to do these things >>30683 same goes for you buddy \r
>>30688 Because the character (and player) dynamic is fucked and it makes no sense to proceed on anything that requires cooperation until that is resolved
If I learned anything from hundreds of hours on Civ IV Rhyse and Fall, it's never go on a campaign of conquest while you're on the brink of civil war
>>30692 what are you even talking about? about me wanting to save the valuable souls? >>30692 bullshit the voidstone can kill the terrasque we are going
>>30694 >wanting to save the valuable souls This, desu. Characters with Codes of Conduct are often required to do all they can to save innocents from evil, especially the undead who defy the logic of the gods. It'd make sense for Infernius's character to feel spiritually obligated to repose those souls who were trapped in that place worse than death, being a Cleric.
>>30699 Either tell me what Tracy wants and doesn't want (because I don't fucking know), or accept that Trumpaladin is the lover she deserves. And stop passive aggressively insulting me at random points without provocation
> required to do all they can to save innocents from evil Even if that evil is a nominal waifu >>30698 I don't understand what you don't understand
>waiting for email response >>30715 Next time we have to deal with it, make sure Torc has Reverse Gravity prepared, so he can cast it underneath the beast and make it flail helplessly in the air.
>>30719 For Torcuil, that's a range of 260'. It allows for a saving throw if solid objects or towers with gravity fields are within grasp. And yes, its a field effect so directed spell resistance is avoided
>>30728 Why the actual fuck are you arguing with me and trying to correct me here? I was agreeing with you about how the classes are imbalanced and trying to be nice, and then you respond with insulting sarcastic bullshit. Fuck you
>>30729 I'm not arguing. Fighter is just the strongest melee. Not good at very much else though. Paladin's are great in their own way though. Their skills and spells are specialized for the purpose of helping/saving others, and they excel at slaying ebil creatures. Being immune to plague helps when you're trying to save the kingdom too.
>>30730 The party's need for a spoopy mystery machine can be addressed on an as needed basis. I agree that there is no need, and all the crafting is building several trebuchets and training cannon teams. At best, spoopy car is a "next time" at best.
>>30738 >I still feel it's not balanced Oh, absolutely. The writers of these books must've been partial to mages or something. Idgaf though. Mudpony pride!
>>30475 >I pushed it Logical fallacy time: I don't remember it, so it never happened. >>30485 understandable >>30749 This whole fucking game confuses me Sue me if Torc isn't te most well thought out character
>still stuck here for a while >>30746 Well, I like Black knights because they're so much like Paladins, only not bound by a preset creed. The Code of Conduct requires that Paladins always think of others before themselves, respect authority, and never fight for their own personal interest; fug that white-knight BS. A Blackguard fights for power, glory, and whatever personal/traditional reason it is that motivates them to their cause; in Tracy's case, that's for the good of her family. I love knights, but I'm not fond of being bound to a pre-determined creed. For those reasons, I find they make great anti-heroes, and anti-hero is the best character imo. Also, they're edgy, summon fiends, usually wear badass horned armor, fight any way they want (including tricks, sneak attacks, and poison) and command undead instead of just turning them. It's my favored class, a knight who fight for his own reasons, and doesn't immediately lose all his cool powers if he changes his mind. Fighter/Blackguard is best combo imo, although not as great as Fallen Pali. >laptop losing charge
>>30764 >Paladins always think of others before themselves, respect authority, and never fight for their own personal interest... A Blackguard fights for power, glory, and whatever personal/traditional reason it is that motivates them to their cause Um....
>>30772 You're fine, Infernius' faggot just introduced a major story-element, causing an otherwise unseen shift in the matrix that I'm still working out the details of.
Rather, one pair is normal and one pair further duplicates. The duplicating one appears identical to the normal one, sometimes resulting in extra pairs of chopsticks. >>30781 It wasn't, but sure
>>30784 Assuming we’re still doing this, I’d like to go over cooperating on mounted combat, which I really should have done before the dragon encounter, rather than spring it up on you.
In general, I don’t expect there to be much conflict because we have almost identical approaches to battle. We both first weigh whether it is possible to avoid fighting at all by either diplomacy or just ignoring the problem. We then estimate the chances of failure, and if it’s higher than about 30% we run. Then try to find the way of attacking that is most favorable. You like stealth first attacks and I like taking the initiative to have the first strike, which is similar. If we see that we are taking damage, or it is riskier than we thought, we retreat and find a different way of approaching the battle. In short, our battle strategies could be described by the words “I fear death.” I do want to point out that by now both characters have extremely high hit points, especially Tracy, and combined with healing powers, we could be more aggressive and sustain a few hits. Just do things how you normally would, and my only requests are that you be considerate of the fact that (like Tracy) all of my strong attacks are melee and require close range, and also try to communicate battle strategies before engaging in them especially because Paladin spells, which affect both rider and mount, can make a difference.
I do want to warn you that according to the Nightmare Tactics guide the Ethereal Jaunt is a full round action, meaning she would need to come into the material realm in one round, and then attack in another round, so she can’t stealth attack like that although her rider could attack the same round.
Now here’s where I want you to accommodate my character in mounted combat. When one or more of Trumpaladin’s protectorates – soldiers, citizens of Port Barry, Fae, or certain other NPCs – are under attack or at risk of attack, Trumpaladin will draw fire towards himself and away from them, as a way of protecting them, completely disregarding risk. Especially when he created the danger to them in the first place. This would mean no stealth, retreat, or etherealness during that period of time, lasting until the danger has passed or Trumpaladin is out of action. If you want to look at the motive idealistically, it is a devotion to his duty to protect certain others. If you want to look at it cynically, it is a desire to protect reputation and avoid being seen as a coward.
Please just say that Tracy goes along with this. Cauchemars are creatures of pure hate that do not fear death, so why wouldn’t one attack relentlessly when its rider wants to? Or maybe she recognizes that it’s extremely important to her flashy that he gets himself killed rather than avoiding being seen as a bad leader, so she stays in combat until Trumpaladin is knocked unconscious, then Ethereal Jaunts to someplace else to protect herself and her unborn child. Please remember that Tracy has ~172 HP in Cauchemar form. She has more HP than a young adult Dragon, and nearly as much as an adult dragon. She has more than twice as much HP in that form as Trumpaladin. So let him get killed (or reduced to so low HP he’s satisfied) then approach the battle as you like.
>>30786 >Or maybe she recognizes that it’s extremely important to her flashy that he gets himself killed rather than avoiding being seen as a bad leader She simply would never think that way. Nonetheless, she'll cooperate in any charge. Just don't charge headfirst into a firehose full of acid before the fight has even begun, and take a strategic strike first.
>>30789 >She simply would never think that way Why not? How would she think?
If you're referring to the black dragon fight, that fight had already begun.
>strategic strike The strategy is to hit it with a sword and reduce its HP until it is dead. 20's are critical hits that can severe limbs >>30790 The link you provided a few days ago
>>30791 >How would she think? She doesn't value image the same way he does, and ultimately cares more about his wellbeing than his honor; despite that, she'd still obey to her best understanding.
>>30793 Oh that's not an issue. She doesn't need to value honor. Just "he really cares about this weird thing that I don't care about, but I care that he cares, so I'll let him have this - until his dumbass gets himself knocked out, then I'm taking over"
>>30794 >"he really cares about this weird thing that I don't care about, but I care that he cares, so I'll let him have this - until his dumbass gets himself knocked out, then I'm taking over" That's exactly how she thinks.
>>30786 >Ethereal Jaunt is a full round action The link I showed you was largely in the context of 5e. Etherealness as an SU ability isn't exactly the same as Ethereal Stride. Idk how long it takes though. Wiki for 3.5e says it functions just like the spell and can be used "at will", but doesn't sau how long it takes. Casting time for the Spell Etherealness is 1 standard action.
Allow me to explain the Black Dragon encounter. After the dragon had made its attack, Tracepaladin were one round away. This means the Dragon would likely have been able to get out one more attack before it could be attacked. If the dragon were not alerted, that would mean an attack on the soldiers, and probably killing or dragging off at least one more soldier. Whereas if the dragon were alerted by means of a whistle, it would then focus on Tracepaladin as the greater threat (or run), which would mean no more soldiers killed. Tracepaladin could have been attacked in that round, but they have the HP to take the hit. Perhaps sacrificing a sneak blow would have drawn out the battle by one more round, but that doesn't matter, since they could take the hit, and could do the damage anyways.
>>30796 My guess is that means it takes one standard action.
>Goes outside to go to his car >Wonders why the rain is falling at less than half of its normal speed >Investigates precipitation, and finds that it consists of quarter inch diameter pieces of what appears to be ice with the consistency of shaved ice >Finds that the precipitation is now sticking to colder, raised surfaces like parked automobiles Is this normal for any of you? I have never seen this phenomenon in this city, and I haven't seen it anywhere in three and a half years
>>30804 Since she's willing to leave the birds for extended periods of time... Would a little pony like to accompany her husbando to a Football Game? So I don't have to make him take Slovenia in her place...
>>30828 I think Trumpaladin should have returned to the Tower after the Spartan delegation was taken off to the Monestary, although I'd believe that he may have taken them on a tour of the city instead. Fae should be able to handle most of it. I could try talking to Darkie
>who does the football team play against, if they're the only football team in the world atm Shhh! I'd presume a separate Port Barry team
>>30830 >How do you decide who goes on which team? >And who are we rooting for? Yes.
But if you want a more serious answer, think of the way chariot racing was organized in the Eastern Roman/Byzantine Empire circa 600 AD. They had two major teams in Constantinople, the Green Team and the Purple team (or maybe it was Red, I am not sure) and different people in the city would follow each team, though both were in the same city. People took the Chariot racing damned seriously, like modern Soccer fans starting riots over the shit. The teams were even mobilized into a militia when the city was attacked - they were the only ones to defend Constantinople from the rebellious general Phocus when he attacked the city in 602 AD. They failed and Phocas conquered it, but you get the point
This is why we really need another city to play against \r
>"Dreams. I got sent a question asking what would Tracy do with her kid or kids if she ever actually had em.
>If it was a girl she would bring her to her Father as soon as shes old enough to breed, and get her pregnant too. She wouldnt stop until all of her foals are carrying Daddys seed, just like her. A nice big breeding family."
>>30839 With only a few select scales, could Tracy possibly craft a pair of animated clawed gauntlets to fit over her hooves, instead of the full suit, and leave the rest of the scales for everyone else?

>>30856 You'd be better off spending one-third as much time in the Holodeck to obtain the Weapons finesse feat so that you could apply a plus 4 dexterity modifier to that sword you took from Infernius Darkie, which already is special and has a plus two modifier to it. clawed gauntlets have less power than flaming hooves anyways
>>30860 Yeah, but being able to use contagion on my enemies during sneak attacks sounds swank. Also, Tracy didn't take any of Darkie's weapons. They're in the armory if anyone wants them.
>>30860 That's really not a bad idea. Not to mention, a schiavonna in one hoof and a fine rapier in the other would look pretty dope, especially peppered with Demon-Plate >>30858 Contested. Human sociological authority includes maneuvering the dominance hierarchies; power is a many-faceted gem, not exclusively merit and expertise.
>>30861 >>30860 Okay after some thinking, I contest myself. Hell is where everyone holds equal authority. The punishment is admitting your power is worthless when you give in
>>30867 But that is the world anon. The conscious reality is an aggregate agreement by all parties operating in a quantum mechanical dynamic. It is the persistent dream brought of "everything" participating across an overlapping and fully connected to "everything" plane.
>>30865 I still want those animated claw-hands though. They'd make life so much more convenient for her. After those are finished, she can start practicing with them on the holodeck.
>>30872 How long would it take to craft these? I'm hungry for hands. >>30874 I don't want the full-plate armor, I really just want the hands. I want to animate them into usable fingers.
>>30881 First off, if you're going for assassin, aren't there a whole lot of other things you need first? And You could do more with a rapier and the cane sword \r
>>30879 Costly, personal (as opposed to professional), obnoxious, tempermental,... the most insufferable that the GM can readily and consistently evoke. >>30880 Mage hand is ineffective for combat. Tracy has Lyra-esque hand-envy >>30881 "I do miss claws, they are nice to have," Thez laments. >>30882 You mean more stuff for you to not ever properly examine or ever use? How're your staffs doing? What are in all the pockets of that robe you casually gave away? What do the chopsticks actually do? >frustrated GM noises
Also, Torc, do you want the Robe of Scintillating Colors? It's not as useful to Tracy as I thought it'd be, and there's no point in holding onto items she won't use. >>30882 This. Tracy has been searching for magic signatures with her Detect Magick wand. >>30883 With Claw Hands, she could use a Hand Crossbow without shooting herself. Also, on top of her Death Attack, she could also contaminate her victims with horrible diseases. Victims might realize they've been poisoned, but the Incubation time for Slimey Doom is more than a day. Victims could be treated for poison, only to turn to cum from the inside out in their beds, having not realized they'd contracted the deadly disease.
>>30884 I will acknowledge I am an asshole Will I change? Probally not because I'm to lazy too. But I didn't mean that shit, I forgot to say Torc still wants that compass. I need to learn to specify more. But I also will inspect my shit if you really want me to >>30886 The hell does scintillaniing mean? But I'll take it. >>30885 Go wild
>>30888 >The hell does scintillaniing mean? pic >>30890 The robe isn't for stealth, it's for partial concealment. It was ufeful to Korak because he used gunz. Anyway, I didn't feel like holding onto things she's not going to use. I'll give up on that, and look for items that can help her flank enemies or make sneak attacks.
>>30885 That's meta, you'll find out later. You're already wearing a suit and full-plate, you wouldn't put a worn trenchcoat covered in zippers over that. >>30888 Sorry, I'm picking on you about item respect because you're the least guilty. You do have cool stuff though, and I have back-story for lots of it.
>>30895 These boots are like the best item I have after Vanderiem though. I think they can even be used mounted (if the mount is on the ground). Also, why you gib to torc for free but I have to pay high? Reeeee
>>30893 Essentially, the robe of shiny colors gives bonuses to dodge and bluff when the partial concealment is engaged. The character can get up to 50% concealment, giving a +2 to armor class, as well as contextual techniques.
>>30894 You wouldn't wear a trench coat over a set of plate arm out over a full suit. I wear a heavy jacket in doors every month of the year except July and August. I need pockets. And waifu just gave away robe... *sad Paladin noises* \r
>>30894 Yeah, I do wanna know more about the pistols for sure And I guess Torc's staves and the spooder ring And also, the fuck is an ear cuff? >tfw I've asked about stuff before and GM wasn't on >>30893 >sparkling or shining brightly I wish I could say I know how to use that effectivly... >>30898 What color is it? Torc make be etting some new clothes...
>>30898 Ugh, now I don't want t give it up anymore..! >>30900 If you don't want to use it, I can still use it. It stacks with Tracy's smoke concealment. I just didn't want to feel like a loot whore, since I never got the chance to use it...
>>30900 >shiny When idle, its a non-reflective black, almost like velvet or suede. >(g)ear cuff That's worth mentioning, especially with recent events. On the "inside", as in the part that makes contact with flesh, its polished and clear-laquered silver. On the outside, its a series of very fine and alternating-width gears and sprockets. It is as though the surface of the device contains a small but still-oversized for the given space dimensional pocket and has installed a gearbox. Near the bottom, it literally says (and has the whole time: Made in Krenshal blur-blur)
>>30896 I don't think they can be used while mounted, because they'd have to transport the mount too. What would it take to craft those, btw? I can't find them on the list of magick items. >>30913 Reee! No take-backs. I feel like a whore for not wanting to give it... Okay...
>>30915 I have that written down as blinking, is it both? Also, nice. What about the guns? iirc they shot ice or something like that. >>30916 Torc will enchant shit for Tracy in return
>>30917 Just let her use it again, if she needs to do a major battle. I've been running her without armor to keep her speed up while mounted, and that robe was actually her best defense, despite never being used.
>>30919 If she's doing a major battle the odds of her being mounted are reasonably high. If anything, it should be Tracy's general use for her normal Rogue-stealth work, and then transferred to Torc to help him during battles
>>30917 No, its Blinking (as per the ring, but not a ring). It utilizes variant volume and geometry to make infinitely tiny spaces mechanically functional. >Ice guns Not much else to say about those, beyond the crazy-custom pics and descriptions of opulence and design. They appear as a top/bottom-barreled pistol, except the top barrel is actually the bullet-forming process condensed into a barrel-shape/size. The bullet rounds ARE ice, and the method of propulsion is unclear.
>>30922 >Rogue-stealth work That's not what it's for. It's made to make the user harder to hit her vitals while observed. When stacked with improved Evasion, Improved Uncanny Dodge, on top of her Smoke Concealment, it makes for a fine suit of armor. For a rogue like Korak, it allowed him to use bluff checks to make sneak attacks with his guns while observed.
>>30926 I studied the item catalogs pretty autistically.. I fucking love magick items man. It's the best part of being a Rogue: stealing all the cool shit.
>>30928 I have a really awkward question for Trollestia, but I wonder if I should save it until after the Football Game until the next day in game time
>>30931 It's past one O'clock, so I'm hittiong the hay. Whether or not Tracy manages to find anything at the bazaar, she then goes back to the tower, feeds her birds, tucks them in to bed, and then grinds for the Mobility Feat.
>>30942 But the moment he's cheering at the end of the game she kidnaps him and drags him off to who knows where, for some crazy fantasy kink that makes Space Cowboy look like missionary. Goodnight.
>>30953 Yer fucked m8 The snow has you now >>30951 Torc doesn't know that >>30959 Apparently my posts didn't go through because my wifi went out. What does Torc find out when he inspects the staves?
>>30956 I'm still working out how to even figure out what's wrong with him (in character). I've got most of it sorted, I just need a few more details. Don't worry though, we've got a piece of him just in case he's obliterated. >>30960 The Staff of Transmutation is pretty basic, but Torcuil discovers that the spells coded into the Staff of Power regenerate over time.
>>30961 Nice, but can I get a reminder on those spells? And I guess the last one for today is the Bracer sheild thingy. >>30962 >its supposed to get down to freezing the next couple days I want to die
My guess is that he's got some kind of parasite/possession/brain-condition that the entertron couldn't purge because it was alive >>30956 *goes to infirmary and picks up a syringe with a lethal dose of morphine, and a few other ambiguous drugs* *injects bull* (he won't die from it when he's in the entertron, but it should boost his Concentration, lessen the pain and make him easier to diagnose) *Casts Eagle's Splendor to make him articulate* "What's your problem, drama queen? Where does it hurt?"
>>30971 "Have you tried using magic to diagnose it? Commune? Status? Divination? Deathwatch?" (she knows about your spells, because she was trying to make items)
>>30979 >Tracy's patience runs out as her faggot runs out of MD reacyion images "I'll show you warm..!" *leaves and returns with a gallon of gasoline* *castrates bull* *covers bull in gasoline and burns him to smithereens* *throws severed balls back into entertron, to grow a new Infernius* "Feel better yet?"
>>30990 *contemplates stealing horn, but restrains herself* "Well, that's the best that my medical proffession can offer.. Good luck, Infernius." *takes bull tongue because reasons*
>>31004 It can't be a physical parasite though, because Tracy already immolated his body. Detect Evil may reveal impure beings/spells within the body. Maybe try, Break Enchantment?
>>30981 Kek >>30994 >>30990 Torc runs from this biological weapon while his faggot laughs his ass off >>31006 10 shekels says it has something to do with him becoming a jew
>>31006 Well... Does the Entertron fail to resurrect all parasitic lifeforms inside of a host when the host's material is entered but the parasite's is not? If this is the case, then when Thez was casually killing the entire party for fun, she would have Killed tracy's child, but did not resurrect it. So Tracy's child would be dead and Tracy no longer pregnant.
>>31011 >when Thez was casually killing the entire party for fun, she would have Killed tracy's child This has been bothering me for a while, desu.. That time was the only time she ever died.. (I've acyually been extra cautious with her for that reason) For that matter, would Blasphemy have even killed her, since she's ebil? I actually figured that Thez just one-shotted with a melee attack in the moment, while the utter foulness of "that phrase" had her stunned, although GM never specified that. Either way, she was out cold >>31016 >'It matters what the faggot who controls this game throws at us' *dodges virtual wrecking ball*
>>31018 "Infernius... I don't think I've ever apologized to you for what I've done. I'm sorry.
I'm not going to lie to you and tell you I'm not the kind of guy to steal someone else's waifu, because I am. But I value our relationship far more than that. I value our friendship more than that. I value you. And I would not intentionally do anything to hurt you."
>>31007 >with him becoming a jew If it were that, wouldn't he have lost all his class abilities because of it too? We don't have anyone who can cast Atonement, so he's fugged if that's the case.
>>31029 "We should, either in the library or the forge. I kept trying to get Tracy to stop wasting her time on those eggs and just put them in front of a fireplace, but she didn't listen"
>>31033 *holds torch closer* >>31034 "He's been bleeding from every orifice for hours now. The only reason he hasn't shriveled up is because of the healing affect."
>>31047 Did you ever take the Improved Sunder feat? Without the feat, it only functions as a +1 longsword, the feat is also a requirement for Blackguard.
>>31051 GM explicitly stated Suiboto is a hell of a lot better than a shatterspike. In fact, he replied to one of your "Tracy crafts a shatter spike" with "or, you could just use the much better one Trump never uses"
>>31054 >thows self off cliff Can a chracter us a spell of a higher level, but then has to deal with penalties and shit for a while? Also, what level clerical spels can Infernius use?
>>31059 You can cast Detect Evil unlimitedly. Also, you should take the feat. Even if the sword worked without the feat, you'd still provoke attacks of opportunity whenever you tired to use it, meaning you could get your head cut off when you tried to sunder an enemy's weapon.
>>31061 >Unlimited detect evil Wait, really? *casts detect evil, even though it will just reveal an evil presence... aaaannnnnnnnnnd it's Tracy >>31061 >you'd still provoke attacks of opportunity whenever you tired to use it We'll let GM expalin how Suiboto works
>>31068 We don't know. We do know that he is suffering physical efects, but those could be psychosomatic. We don't know if he has a parasite, and we don't know what it is infecting. Everything that could heal the body doesn't seem to work, so my guess is that if there is a parasite, it is either one that affects consciousness, or it is one that is not affected by healing - the only way that could happen is if Infernius is pregnant
>>31068 He is suffering severe physical effects sort of similar to deadly influenza, but "remove disease" and the Entertron do nothing, suggesting he is not actually suffering from disease even though he clearly has the symptoms of it
>>30963 K. Magic Missile Ray of Enfeeblement Continual Flame Levitate Lightning Bolt Fireball Cone of Cold Wall of Force Globe of Invulnerability It is unknown how many charges the staff has, or how quickly they regenerate. Don't break it. The Bracers are more ornamental than one's average 'functionally magic' bracers (they WERE made for Thez). They have very clear symbols and icons of contemporary shields, as well as a glass(steel) lens that duplicates the proportions of the shield its self on both pieces. When in use, the shield is just out of arm's reach, though if it is lowered to the ground, it can be stood on as a stationary 'plate' (or crouched on and used for a sled if you find yourself going down a snow-covered hill). >freezing Oh is it freezing? You poor baby,... where I live its below freezing for the next 2-3 months. Xp >>30966 Damn >>31000 She hasn't said, she was just making sure you could. >>31011 When THEZ was casually killing the party? I,... oh you were just incapacitated. >>31046 I gotta work till 10:30p tonight >>31060 No higher level spells, except scrolls (and u have to make a spellcraft check). >>31062 I have to remind you,... the creation of scrolls is a magical item crafting. Meaning, you can't be scribing scrolls at the same time you're working on your singular item,.... >>31071 Oh boy
>>31072 Looking at the wiki it's looking like Trollestia probably can't do what I really want her to do...
You do remember when Thez was casually killing the party with the Starlight Glimmer thing right? I was pissing her off by asking some question so she killed Infernius and Tracy and Me. I think this was very shortly after the Kefka battle, but I am not sure
>>31082 Fire away >>31083 Yes. Tiny and elusive, somewhere in Infernius's head. >>31084 Babies aren't parasites, unless their parents are parasites. Xp
>>31088 >Yes. Tiny and elusive, somewhere in Infernius's head Oh Shit!
>babies aren't parasites In the mammalian life cycle, the earliest stages are spent sucking blood and nutrients from a host with which it remains in prolonged contact, despite being a seperate organism. This meets the biological definition of a parasite
>>31090 >parasites Only if you're engaging the most detached and dismissive definition of parasite possible. In the same sense, an apple on an apple tree is a parasite. Xp >>31092 Just one, tiny but strong. >>31091 >psionic
>>31088 >Tiny and elusive, somewhere in Infernius's head >>31092 *vanishes* *returns with giant sledge hammer* "Do you want to try a Smite Ebil attack, Flashy?" >>31090 Offspring of placental mammals are not considered to be parasites.
[3d20 = 30] THIS is where those boots would've come in handy, if you'd used them. *gets mounted and chases after the bull* >100 speed *Catches up to him instantly and slashes with intent to sever legs*
>>31112 I don't know, he had a good head start, and there's lots of places to hide in the middle section. While I have the chance, the middle section is something like a a strip-mall, except that goes in all directions. There are an amazing number of specialty buildings, shops, and features, all abandoned for hundreds of years. It would be covered in dust if the whole building wasn't essentially sterile.
The only thing that's known is that there is a tiny evil presence in Infernius's brain, and that he hasn't left the Tower, either by the front door or by teleporting using the dais.
>>31120 THAT will lead Tracy right to Infernius. The former (with Trump) can prepare to approach and rodeo, but its not like Infernius doesn't know they're there.
>>31125 You remembered! You did remember right? The party has a Rope of Entangling >>31126 Detecting the parasite takes a full 3 rounds due to the size and nature. Be aware.
>>31136 No, that was in the treasury when the party first reclaimed it from the ants. I thought Tracy took possession of it, but then I suppose it either got stolen or buried in Tracy's dungeon in that event.
[2d20 = 31] *walks straight through walls and whatever to get to the bull's Aura location faster* >>31137 Shouldn't that take two checks? Spot and listen (both +5) to hone-in faster. She can still feel the aura too. >>31139 She kept most of her equipment in the bag, I just never had the chance to use that one (or I forgot when I did).
>>31139 CALLS FAE Orders (via link) "Bull is on the lose, infected with a mind control Jew Parasite. Use your track to hunt him down in Tower middle section. Grapple, then rope him if you find him - alert us"
>>31145 >>31143 Ain't nothing stealthy about a 2000 pound horse with heavy breathes charging through a strip mall. Ethereal Jaunt would take too many rounds. Just go around in a single round, or Break through the walls, since you weight a literal ton
This guy was bleeding from every orifice when he ran off. Should he leave a trail of blood, or at least the scent of his blood? *sniffs ground for blood* >>31147 >heavy breathes >rogue pic one
>>31151 He could with the dais. >>31153 *follows bull wherever he is, if he's still there* >>31154 Yeah, but she doesn't have to snort every turn. The dais is the teleporter. That's why I said to send Fae there.
>>31157 >>31155 Trumpaladin and Trumpaladin's faggot have no idea what a dias is, why there is one in the tower, where there is a dais in the tower, or how he could teleport using the thing he's never heard of before 20 minutes ago \r
>>31159 Yeah I saw google. That doesn't explain why it's in the middle section, why it teleports or anything. >>31160 Eh, I missed it, and Trumpaldin wouldn't know that either
[frustrated nightmare noises] "I swear, ext time I see that emo bovine, I'm going to grind him into hamburger!"
Tracy then paces about all the abandoned shoips and whatnot, Searching for abandoned items and anything else interesting. She uses her Detect Magick wand to identify any plausible magick items of facilities. >>31164 I think it was.
>>31156 Sorry, my browser keeps freezing. >>31146 What does this mean? >>31138 Okay, I missed this one legit >>31157 >>31158 The dais is at the top, but Thez has that covered. If he teleported, he may still be somewhere in the tower. >>31160 No.
[3d20 = 34] >>31173 >he may still be somewhere in the tower Casts Detect Good Again, to find his aura. Spot+5 Listen+5 Track (via the scent of his blood and diarrhea, since he was bleeding profusely, and hasn't bathed since then)
>>31176 Desu, you'll have to wait until Infernius' faggot returns, I'm giving him creative discretion on this. Depending on what he had in mind by teleport, its possible he's not in the tower.
