NO HOMO
This begins yet another edition of the Game thread, this time extra sweet 'cuz Norfilly won't stop being so damn cute.
The party has successfully felled the Terrasque, removed the head from the Nerd, watched as George Soros got his fool head blown off and was BTFO yet again (how WILL he live down the infamy?) and now ventures off to collect sticks, or build telescopes, or whatever it is they plan to do now that there's a new thread that isn't over 1.1k posts.
There is now an official bath-house, and characters seem quite taken by it both in spite of and to troll any detractors who would otherwise throw salt in our fun.
This is an ongoing RPG thread geared toward D&D-esque adventuring, shitposting, funposting, bantz, shitposting, funposting, and murder.
Feel free to join! The bathwater (and blood) is nice.

But we need to be responsible with that power. We need to make sure we will help - not do evil. Unless we have the best of intentions, we'll leave the world - maybe other worlds - worse off.
Thez really impressed me when she showed that she was sacrificing herself for the sake of her friends. That's a hell of a lot better intent than I had - I wanted to take the mage's place as emperor. It's better than what Tracy and probably Tay intended as well. But bless Thez - she's looking at this too narrowly. It's not just us, it's people everywhere who could be affected. We need to think of that."
>>19725"me with you on that trump."
Fug, Norfilly really makes me feel like we have a legit filly poner in the group.

Explanation inbound
Thez explains the encounter with the golden woman. "In the moment, and when presented with the situation, Trump sought to introduce himself, as though diplomacy could have mediated the situation. And yet, it should have been obvious that that was not a time for pleasantries. It should also have been obvious that Trump was not dealing with an equal. For that, he was silenced. Torcuil did well, but his demeanor was plaintive, as though he could 'politely' demand to know who he was speaking to, and moreover, he did not answer Her question. I'nis did right in telling her "Fuck you" and would have succeeded in that, but he failed in that he neither answered Her question nor maintained his resolve. It didn't help that,... I had kinda told Her all about him, and by that She was angered by his mere existence. One of the Laws is "Commit to No One",... and I'nis was evidence that I had broken the Law. Tay however, decided (whether consciously or not) that she had an opportunity to take advantage of. She probably knew she could easily be disabled or murdered, but saw an opportunity for herself and acted upon it. This is precisely the spirit that She represents, acknowledges, and is lenient toward. Tracy neither answered nor faltered, which again shows resolve and determination, and when Tay blew Soros' head off Tracy disregarded the situation to take advantage of another opportunity. Both could be considered to have acted disrespectfully, but it was a defiance that showed utility in the face of overwhelming force, rather than an attempt to counteract, placate, or deny that force. And when She demanded their names, they answered with neither supplication nor assertiveness. There was a daring in their answers that showed Her the very thing She craves from all living things, resolve. And then they bantered! In that, She could see why I had defied Her for you all. It is not that She felt Trump's or I'nis' or Torcuil's responses were invalid, but they were predictable and,... well,... male. But when She acted to harm all of you, even though I know (ALL too well) how easily She could destroy me and the rest of you, I didn't hesitate. I couldn't stand the idea of you coming to harm, especially because it was my fault She was there in the first place. It was ALL my fault, and because it was my fault, it was Her's," Thez says meekly (not like in the bath house).
"When I first crossed Her path, I was little more than a pile of rags, having,... gawd I can't even imagine how long I had been wandering. Through this gate and that, portal after portal, zone and dimension, one after another. Time-changes and life-experiences and fractured personalities and life-times that seemed real. I walked through a gate, the gate that led to Her domain, which is at the border of the Abyss and Hell, and I simply walked by Her. I didn't even notice Her at first, so she just watched me, and followed along. She put obstacles in my way, and I destroyed them. She set traps for me and I evaded them or I survived and healed from them. Finally She stood before me Herself,... and we fought. We fought for days. I wasn't really conscious of what I was doing, but I still remember it. For perspective, the gate which I had walked through was forbidden to Demons, and those who ventured through were quickly dealt with. I can only imagine Her surprise when a mortal, a child even (there was some time-reversal shit prior) walked through. So as we fought, She expected a quick and simple conclusion, but that is not what happened. I forced Her to use an ability She had not shown anyone. It wasn't even known that She had it, so secret was it, but still - and largely because She underestimated me - I forced Her hand. That is how I piqued her interest. It was after that that She remade me of the house of Thez, and placed a Geas on me that from that point forward I would take it as my name."
>>19728In the deadliest single aircraft disaster of all time, some 520 out of 524 people died. A small number of people in the rear of the airplane - in the smoking section - survived. They survived because they were smokers, while everyone else died. That's what that experience felt like.
>>19731"that a good *looks in book* metaphor"
>>19731"That is what She is. She is Wrath personified. She is Lust in form. She is Sloth, and Pride, and all those things mortals have come to fear. But she is not wholly evil, and because I was remade by Her, my fault was Her's. And so, She removed Her fault from me."
>>19730"me wish i could have saved you from all that"
>>19734"Only death could do such a thing, and that I would not abide, which too was what caught Her interest. Her gifts are horrible and wonderful, but not for the faint of heart."
She turns to Trump. "She could indeed remove everything of Soros from Tracy, but it would not come without a price. Be wary of asking it."
>>19735"heart aches at such a bleak thought"
>>19730"What was your name before?"
>>19733"To be completely honest, I wasn't really intending on intervening at the time. I was far more interested in Tracy, and to a lesser extent, on Tay. It seemed like whatever was going on with the Golden Lady was between you and her. But Inferius and Tourcil were talking, so I figured I'd step in."
>>19736"Like what kind of price?"
>>19738"something more than gold is always the price with devils"
>>19739"my mother would know more..."
>>19739"We have to make a Mephistopheles bargain? Aw hell no. It was Tracy's Mephistopheles bargain that got us into this mess. Is there another way?"
>>19738"Gilana. Gilana de Fatima Korragar. Thank you for asking."
>>19739"This, most assuredly."
>>19739"Perhaps we have more in common than I had anticipated."
>>19741"What Tracy did was not a bargain, though clearly some form of exchange took place. I don't know what reversing that exchange will mean, nor can I anticipate how she will respond. She seems to rather like the changes that have occurred."
>>19742"You are welcome. What name do you prefer to go by?
"It's all the same. She sought to harness evil powers, and that always comes a price. Yes I know she's just fine with it, do not remind me"
*shudders*
"Trying to save her came at a far bigger price"
>>19743"now do you see why i told the filly not to talk to the gold lady?
>>19743>>19744She chuckles. "The path to hell is paved with good intentions. Thez is fine, I've known it for so long that anything else seems,... odd," she smiles, and looks at Infernius. "But I won't stop you if you choose to call me something else,... I'nis."
>>19746"oh and by the way the only way i faultered is because her aura reminded me of you."
>>19748"A mistake I hope you won't repeat," she says with a wink.
>>19749"if she challenges me ill fight her to the death before i surrender!
>could tay makes me mp4 related gm? >>19746"Let me ask you. Is it worth it? Good intentions I mean"
>>19751"If you're asking me whether I would choose death over good intentions, I'll still favor the latter."
>>19753"thats one of the reasons i love you"
>>19754She smirks. "Would you do any different?"
>>19755"no" infernuis says with a wink and a tickle to the ribs.
>>19756"You're lucky I don't have a tail a tail anymore, else I'd drop you without even shifting my weight," she says crossing her arms playfully.
[9d20 = 66]
"Okay, I can't break the grapple cursed items! but I can still beat you while IN a grapple,"
T> Nonlethal full-round attack
Fun fact, while engaged in a grapple, the two parties engaged can still fight, just not with weapons. Since Thez is a monk, she can use elbows, knees, etc. without incurring any penalties. Since her combined attack bonuses (buffs included is +59 (-5 with each consecutive hit),....
>>19764Why would I know that?
>>19765Inferius is right. It's only proper to smite women if they are extra-planars or Bolsheviks (kind of the same thing) and Thez is no longer half demon
"The best there's ever BEEN!" she says brushing her hands off (I'm assuming you're not gonna make me roll for damage, that was 9 consecutive hits at 2d10+str+buffs damage, not enough to knock Infernius out completely, but enough to daze him).
>>19766My bad, I'm certain I mentioned it a few times.
>>19768"Didn't you just say that you wouldn't repeat that mistake?" Xp
>>19771To be honest, the fact that you let her pick on you is what first drew her eye.
"YOU shut up!"
>>19772"did you hit me or was that a flurry of kittens" infernuis says smugly.
>>19773Her eyes narrow. "Consider yourself lucky that I can't speak Blasphemy anymore. I still have the stones though."
>>19774"ah come on you know me was joking"
>>19777You did good Inferius, you did good
>>19776>>19777"Oh, and I wasn't? What's wrong? Big ol' bull can't handle the bantz?" she says jumping into his arms, kissing him.
Tulpas,... sheesh As an aside, would it be gloating if I were to point out that by this thread the Game now accounts for right around 15k posts? That wouldn't be gloating would it? I would hate to gloat, that would be improper.
>>19782"Yeah he's the worst. That, and he really needs to
get off his ass and start shooping my reaction images!"
Sigh.
Alright then, that's it for me. Catch you later!
What happened while I was asleep?
>>19762Can grapplers use natural weapons? Hooves, teeth etc?
This is probably more just a statement for counter-factual speculation than for actual gameplay purposes, but a Paladin's mount can command a similar animal kind to "approach, drop, fall, flee, or halt" as many as one time per day per two paladin levels. So a pony belonging to a level 16 Paladin could force a horse or pony within 65 feet of her to come to her, assume a prone position, or stop moving, up to eight times per day.
How far did that rumor about a Dragonne picking-off travelers along the road between Port Barry and Pip spread?
>>19791With the requisite feat (Improved Unarmed Combat) yes.
>>19792Yes
>>19793Didn't you tell that one to the Pip merchant?
>>19795>Didn't you tell that one to the Pip merchant?Yes, and to a few guys in the line at the dome.
>>19796You would have to ask around those areas to determine the effects.
>>19798How much game-time do you really think that will take?
>>19799About 8 hours?
It's not important anyway..
>>19796Imagine you're standing at the counter in a roadside store. The door opens, and in comes, standing upright, a blue horse with an emaciated appearance about the size of a seventh-grade human female. Incredibly, the thing talks, with a voice that sounds like it is hiding a deeper malevolence. It tells you that a lion-dragon is killing people along the road, and leaves. You're definitely retelling that story, but somehow I feel the content of the warning will be lost.
>>19799That would take days
>>19795GM, how far has the legend spread of the Protector in resplendent amber-clad armor, riding a gilded Lion, who slays Bolsheviks and protects travelers from Highwaymen - whom he hangs with glee?
"He does it for free" the legend tells
\r
>>19801>StoryThis is what I'm thinking too. "Did you hear about?" "A talking pony?" "Yeah, it was crazy! She said something about, I don't really remember but she was all..."
>DaysDing
>>19798She can, if you really want, but I'm telling you now that the newest story of the party v. the Nerd will have spread far faster and far wider.
On a totally unrelated note, and because I normally am not afforded the opportunity to do so, I would like to state - for posterity - Checkmate.
>>19802I was thinking of checking out the dome again, actually.
>>19802Is that ding in the sense of "the bell goes ding for a correct answer" or "I just got dinged by email from Haynes and Boone" (rejected!)
>>19803I have no idea what you mean by that, but you can't have good intentions by it, and it scares me
>>19804That would take a full day plus a rest period, so you can be 'back' by tomorrow at earliest.
>>19805Correct
Don't mind the other, it means I'm FREEEEEE
>>19806I was looking to go on a long journey and explore the map more.
>>19807Why not go to the Emperor's capital with us when we try to conquer it?
>>19808We feel like I'd be less restrained if she went off alone for a while.
>>19809What if it's a tough as hell fight though? I have no idea if we can literally walk in, if we have to face another madman, or if there will be an entire army (obvious Sechs will be consulted first)
>>19810Yeah, but I have things I want to do, and goals I need to have her achieve to complete the form last my development plans. It'd be a lot easier if she weren't always being being watched.
>>19809Also, if it were to be discovered that Tracy murdered every individual at the dome, Flashy wouldn't be bothered by it
>>19811Well, if you're set on that course its your decision. I will point out that Cardishore is on the way to Kefka's Citadel though.
>>19811to complete the formulas for*
I might just scrap this sheet though..
>>19811I'm only being specific/particular because that will eliminate your ability to interact with anyone else until the next time the group 'meets up' again. I'm not in any way opposed.
Also, forget ye not that one has to wait in line just to get IN Cardishore,....
>>19727Should I tone it down a bit, or be honoured?
>>19816Nah, you're filling the role well.
>>19816>tone downABSOLUTELY NOT!
ahemYour adorable nature is a delightful and well-received addition by my estimation. ^_^
>>19804this, go see whats up over there tracy.
>>19820We went to the dome and you got stuck in line. We already know what is there is of relative little interest. There's something else we should attend to
>>19818hey gm can i do another recruitment drive and have training day for my police force?
>>19821it wouldnt hurt to see whats inside the city! and tracy can phase out of the buildigs if she gets stuck again.

>>19824I know "Dancing Lights" if needed...

>>19822Sure. I still haven't figured out how big the force is in general, but I'll add a bonus to the equation if you wanna do that.
>>19826^_^
>>19826She already registered formally. I'm skipping security next time.
She wants her knives back anyway.
There is at least one other way into the city, but that's a good one too and the one that involves the least involvement of the party (since Tracy seems to want to 'go rogue', not in a negative sense).
>>19829they might have hella treasure..
>>19832i might take my police force over there for a raid after they're trained.
>>19833Kefka's Capital city is the obvious target for a raid. It's likely a Keystone to other cities. It's a logical location to bring mountains of tribute to
>>19829Cardishore is on the road to Kefka's City. Scout ahead and do what you want there, then join the main party (which will be a hell of a lot slower) on its way to the Capital
>>19830have i got any more feat slots from lvling?
>>19838I'm not sure what you mean.
>>19839And I'm not sure you ever declared any feats to begin with. Players get (standard) 1 feat for every 3 levels, meaning (unless I missed it) u have 5 feats to designate.
>>19840i had took some but i havent used them since then can i re pick im not really happy with the ones i have.
>>19843You absolutely need "Leadership." It's the most important one, take it

>>19849>If I take that mask off, would it hurt?Inferius: only if I'm a bitch
>>19851The closest I can find that matches your description is a dancing weapon, so I would have to require a few weeks to research the item. What's more, you can't just enchant any old stick, enchantments require masterwork materials AND crafting. In fact, I SHOULD have required it for the Snek staff, but its a little late for that.
>>19852can i take a 20 if i craft stuff?
>>19850As far as I can tell it was more bitching about Tracy from Trump
>>19852That is not even fucking close to what I want
I basically want something like a flute, that plays itself
>>19855Right, which requires enchantment, which means masterwork materials, and a masterwork crafted flute. Since there are no flutes that play themselves listed, one has to be researched and developed.
>>19856are there any feats that help me dual wield axes?

https://dnd-wiki.org/wiki/SRD:Leadership >>19862So it is. The max level available from among the PB (port Barry) citizens is 3rd so,... I'm thinking 15 3rd level police. This is in addition to the Denver Broncos that Trump has been working on, as well as the Fight Club that Thez has been
beating training.
