Hey all.

I was originally going to be at Mare Fair this week but I couldn't make it, so I will be handling movie night on my own tonight. Flappy left us a playlist, so we can probably go through that, plus I will have a movie and a few oddball things I can show. I'm assuming quite a few of us will be gone, so I'll hold off on the regular program (Big O, MLP, etc) until next week. Tonight will probably just be a fun assortment of oddball things for anyone who wants to drop in.

I'll probably open up the room roughly one hour from the time of this post.

By the way, on the topic of anime, I think Cromartie High School could be a good one, especially for in-between longer, more serious series. It's 26 12-minute episodes, with no overarching plot, and one of the funniest animes I've watched.

So, that's good to know.

I'm also pretty glad that we have something like Mastodon going on. It feels like a standardized "social media" layer of the internet where anyone can run their own stuff on it. Like the old internet.

...Well, how about that? In _less than two weeks,_ Tamers12345 has moved on from his 27 minute animation and has made another animation that's an hour and five minutes long.

That takes care of the lack of Drawn Together episodes and then some.

So, to recap, this week we have a slightly shorter music section, with the new Pony Thread Simulator (~20m) and the new Tamers video: "My Little Pony The Movie: The Death Of Twilight Sparkle".

With last week's release of Tamers12345's movie length animation, there are already no less than FOUR separate songs based on his character, “Flawless”. So, I popped them into the playlist.

The rest of the playlist has a trend towards Pinkamena and a few “grimdark” looking PMV animations by SinclairDuGore.

Other mixed media entries into the playlist include seven minutes of a voiced dub of Crookedtree's famous Ask Pinkamena AskBlog, a two minute match of something that looks like Fighting Is Magic between Nightmare Twilight and Pinkamens, and an “animation meme” of that “choose whether to admit potential monsters into an apartment building” game, but pony-themed.

Internet Archive seems to not be fully up yet, so we'll figure out that second part as we go forward.

In Watch Party news, I think I'd like to try a Monster Movie Marathon of some kind this weekend. How is Sunday looking as a prospect?

As we approach Nightmare Night (wow, time flies, doesn't it?), we approach another Watch Party with a series of media to enjoy.

Thare a wide variety of horror-ish content. Mostly songs and animatics with slightly creepy imagery. We've got another couple of Flawless fan songs to celebrate, by Evershade, Thrack, and BGM, so they're on there. We've got some slightly unsettling animations, a short or two of social awkwardness for a different kind of spook, a Speedpaint video by The L Clown, and a classic Spooky Surprise to top things off. It's the original CupCakes video by MisterDavie on YouTube. Hopefully it's not region locked or otherwise censored.

It's now November, but it's so darn close to Halloween that we still have some Pony Halloween content to watch!

In a continuing display of getting shit done, there are still some new Flawless songs being published.

A grab-bag of media from ElectroKaplosion and Cosmonaut Pony make up the largest single contributors to the list in terms of number of playlist entries. To this I've added a Halloween Comic dub by Scribbler Productions, an animatic from Cosmia's Stash from the Chinese side of the fandom, a spooky pony animation by Halo12 titled “That's Not My Little Pony (animated)” that ponifies one of the creepy games about being a border guard for an apartment of some kind, and there's also a video from Sweetie Bot 2560, which is impressive.

This Sweetie Bot video, “Sweetie is not giving up !” is about a project to build a robot pony. The voice is AI generated, and the behaviours are programmed, but the physical prop and movement are real engineering. New frontiers in robotics and Pony are being explored here!

For bumpers, I've inserted some shorts about ancient historical cooking videos. These cover meals like the Spartan Black Broth, Roman colloseum snacks, and a Parthinian Chicken recipie.

Toot pursues the mythical Wienermobile, although Foxxy and Ling-Ling, believing it is just a myth, seal her in the closet to prevent her from searching for it.

Hello again!

In a bit of a break from pattern, I'm going to open up the room to fill in my YT time. There's a buncha stuff happening in politics, and I'm sure we have different ways of keeping up with things.

I haven't done the after-party stream mostly because I just get really tired after the stream and have a hard time making it to my Saturday morning event. Let's see if we can get a bit more watch party time in during the week.

Hearth's Warming / Christmas Time is here once again in our wonderful little community.

In line with that, the first part of the Watch Party will consist of Red Green and Pony Christmas Songs. These are the songs where they sing regular christmas songs instead of the ones clipped from the show.

There are some other animations here and there, shorts, and at least one pony non-christmas song (it's about Flawless again) , and we'll wrap up the pre-Drawn Together stuff with k00l's Pony Threat Simulator 13 that was released about a month ago.

I think I screwed up my Drawn Together episode numbers somewhere, so you'll notice a discrepancy here and there.

Hearthswarming is on, and I hope you have heaps of happiness!

There is, of course, and overwhelming amount of Christmas Content out there, so let's get some stuff on here and get the night rolling.

The playlist I was looking at last week had too much music in it, so the Pony Christmas songs came to this week instead! That is, the Hearth's Warming related songs from the video.

We've got a couple of survival-related bumpers to help remind you what to do in the event of something like a Tiger attack, a couple of animations and other songs towards the end, and a bit of a morale bumper bit of music at the end.

That was a good stream last night. Drawn Together is such a great fit for the night that it still surprises me now and then. Bad Santa was a bit rough to watch, but I'm very glad that it ended on a more wholesome and positive note. I suspect that the experience would be enhanced with a rewatch. It would turn the MC into a more tragic figure after seeing his positive interactions with the other character.

This is a new year, which means that every single Friday FishFuk Watch Party has gone perfectly so far. Isn't that amazing? Let's see how long we can keep that streak going.

To establish the basic pattern, the playlist of tonight's first half will be music, from artists of various notoriety levels, along with some short bumpers here and there to vary the pace, feature content of some sort, and then two episodes of a serialized show.

Our feature animation will be “History with Pinkie Pie - Amelia Marehart [Animation]” by Vinson Visions. We have several music tracks from BGM, Pony Degeneracy, several of Vinson's shorter videos as bumpers, Alex Jones clips voicing Doomguy, another Alex Jones video but in the form of a folk song, two calm background animations that should help with balancing the energy level by freeedon, and more besides.

I'm preceeding this with an episode of the Red Green show to welcome people in, and following this with two episodes of Drawn Together

Stream Room News for the week is that I've found an emote that I think will do for Judge Fudge. The code is :show-drawntogether-judgefudge:, or something to that effect. I'm eventually moving the emotes around so that the emotes based on images or characters from various shows we've watched will be under the “shows” tag, if you want to use the emote search bar.
I've begun some work on a second room that's a bit more purpose built. I'd like to get some of those plugins working so we could shitpost ponerpics images with convenience. Generate some more value out of our cultural resources. So far, I have no delivery date. Improvements so far are a better URL.

Season 3 Episode 09 - Charlotte's Web of Lies
During a men's night, Captain Hero, Xandir, Spanky, Wooldoor and Ling-Ling play the "Drawn Together Drinking Game" and become thoroughly drunk; unfortunately, Ling-Ling kills Xandir, depriving him of his last life (as he is a video game character), an act that Ling-Ling feels regret over. Meanwhile, Captain Hero, Spanky and Wooldoor, still drunken, drive out in the Foxxy 5 van to buy some more alcohol, but run over a "homeless" man, who Captain Hero and Wooldoor decide to bring home, while Spanky, being drunken, runs into the bushes. While in the bushes, Spanky meets Charlotte the spider, who he has an overnight affair with. Meanwhile, during Captain Hero's shift to take care of the "homeless man" that he ran over last night, he discovers that the man is his arch-nemesis, Scroto, who makes him wash his testicles. Meanwhile, Spanky is being stalked by Charlotte, after she has become entranced by him. While this is happening, Ling-Ling reveals his tragic backstory and crushed dreams of becoming a dancer to an anger management club, before going out to pursue his dream, and winds up getting a part in the stage production "Drawn Together: The Musical".

Two more Flawless fan-songs are here, “THE MARE IN THE MIRROR” from lightning Bolt's Channel and Koron Korak's DarkSynth song “Flawless Crimes”. I don't entirely know what to expect, but that genre title sure does sound nifty. MelodyBrony has another Tamers12345 fan song titled “The Bitter End”, which just released earlier today. I'm not entirely sure what it's about, but Tamers definitely has enough content out to make lots of fan media of.

The end of the first month is here! It can be nice when events fall on important days, even if the reason that day is important isn't a huge deal in the grand scheme of things. I say, if something isn't important for outside reasons, then we can make it important ourselves!
That said, let's walk through what we have in store for the night.

I've put a bunch of music and PMVs in from a channel by the name “elameaa”. They seem to have been pretty productive over the last year and a bit, so let's give that content a looksie.
Interspersed between the music are a number of comedy skits from Chris and Jack, some animations from Mashed featuring Mario characters, and an eleven minute Nigel and Marmalade animation titled "Nigel and Marmalade: Rat City".
For the new show, I'm going to float out the idea of doing a Farscape episode every once in a while. It's a high production value sci-fi show that doesn't feel like anything else in the space, and it was produced by the Jim Henson company, who was behind The Muppets. We'll start with Episode 1. With Sci-Fi shows, it can sometimes take up to a season for it to find it's footing. I haven't done a full rewatch of this in a long time, so let's see how things go.

Sorry everyone, I've been having trouble sleeping the last few days, then today I just zonked out for like 16 hours and slept through movie night. We will resume our normal schedule next week.

Music, shorts, PMVs, and a little variety on the side is how we're doing things this week.
On the music side, I've grabbed a few works from Seaclipse and SYLVVER, We have a stop motion animation from Crossline Animator (I'll put more of their stop-motion animations in in a future week), and a skit where al jokes interviews himself. Also, a short video walking through how we can use actual PDFs, Portable Document Format files to run Doom. It really can run on almost anything.

We ended up watching two episodes of Farscape last week instead of just the one, so we're on Episode 3 this week. Farscape is going to last 5 seasons, so I might space things out, depending on how things go. I know that if we watch Babylon 5 somehow, that I'd love to pair that with Duck Dodgers.

Season 1, episode 2. The crew learns that Peacekeepers have installed a Paddac beacon on Moya, and it needs to come off. In a hasty landing attempt, she ends up sinking into a swamp. In order to remove the beacon and take off once more, they need to find supplies to sedate the Leviathan and sever the beacon from her primary neural nexus in season 1, episode 2 of Farscape: "I, E.T."

Season 1, episode 3. Moya is getting hot and Aeryn is struggling to handle it. The crew narrows the cause down to an infestation of bugs on the ship, but these aren't your simple cockroaches and they prove to be significantly more crafty foes than expected in season 1, episode 3 of Farscape; "Exodus From Genesis"

Hearts and Hooves day is here! I mean, precisely. We're not a few days late, we're exactly on time! Ain't that nifty?

For the variety hour, I gathered many animations, theory videos, and songs. Most of them are themed around either Cadance or Chrysalis, or Hearts and Hooves ideas in general. Aside from those, the two-part “Insults are magic” series by Toshimatsu is also in the list, accounting for almost twenty minutes of time. One lore theory video is about Cadance's Backstory.

Season 1, episode 4. A group of Tavleks boards Moya and takes Rygel, dropping a powerful gauntlet in the middle of the scuffle. After figuring out that it injects stimulants into the wearer and is equally as dangerous to them as it is to their foes, the crew passes it around as a strategy to save him in season 1, episode 4 of Farscape; "Throne For a Loss"
