/MLPOL/ Watch Party Part 4: We Endure
The horrors persist, but so do we.
Welcome, newfags and oldfags. This is a thread about a weekly get-together some of us like to do on Fridays.
Account registration is not required.
Starting at around 7:00pm EST (8:00pm Central Time), and continuing until the end of the night.
Cytube is the current site hosting the Watch Parties, and the normal room is https://cytu.be/r/FlappyPterodactyl . This may be subject to change, so double check the announcement post in the thread.
These nights consist of going to a website with a video player and a chatroom and having a good time. The format we're using lately starts with the first hour being a series of pony animations and music. This is followed with a couple episodes of a show, then we switch over to a livestream portion for a brief intermission, followed by a series of classic shorts, followed by a movie, followed by two episodes of another show, followed by MLP episodes, then the room is usually pretty open to whatever.
The mood of the nights is “Good Vibes”, and we tend to like more classic content compared to a lot of what's on offer these days.

It's now November, but it's so darn close to Halloween that we still have some Pony Halloween content to watch!
In a continuing display of getting shit done, there are still some new Flawless songs being published.
A grab-bag of media from ElectroKaplosion and Cosmonaut Pony make up the largest single contributors to the list in terms of number of playlist entries. To this I've added a Halloween Comic dub by Scribbler Productions, an animatic from Cosmia's Stash from the Chinese side of the fandom, a spooky pony animation by Halo12 titled “That's Not My Little Pony (animated)” that ponifies one of the creepy games about being a border guard for an apartment of some kind, and there's also a video from Sweetie Bot 2560, which is impressive.
This Sweetie Bot video, “Sweetie is not giving up !” is about a project to build a robot pony. The voice is AI generated, and the behaviours are programmed, but the physical prop and movement are real engineering. New frontiers in robotics and Pony are being explored here!
For bumpers, I've inserted some shorts about ancient historical cooking videos. These cover meals like the Spartan Black Broth, Roman colloseum snacks, and a Parthinian Chicken recipie.
Comfy Night will ensue.

I'll have to take a step back today from putting the regular stream playlist together. IRL stuff is coming up, and I'm not currently available to put it together. There's a good chance that I'll be late tonight, too.
With luck, I'll be able to hand off the night to someone else, otherwise, our options are that I can pick a previous night's playlist, or we can have a potluck night.

That sounds like a great idea, but I don't see a video that's up right now. There's a trailer and ongoing live premier of the video. I won't know how to build the rest of the night until I can see how long it is, otherwise most people might miss it.

I'm still getting the playlist for my portion together, but my end of the stream should be good to go at least. I'll have the schedule up in about 15-20 min probably. We can probably throw something together in the cytube, maybe a tamers watch party as someone suggested, combined with whatever else people want to throw in the queue.
If we don't end up getting anything together for the pre-show, my stream will probably be running at the usual time, probably about 1.5-2 hours from now. I will post the link here when it's ready to go.

I've got an animation from Vilord Studio as well, titled “Trixie Revenge”. It's eight minutes, and has a trailer as well. I expect much TrixiePosting in the chat when we get here. A Terminator tries to stop Wooldoor's new children's show from turning the world gay after Clara alerts it of this problem, causing Wooldoor to go on the run, with the aid of Xandir, who is from the "gay future", caused by Wooldoor's show, while the Terminator befriends Captain Hero. Toot pursues the mythical Wienermobile, although Foxxy and Ling-Ling, believing it is just a myth, seal her in the closet to prevent her from searching for it.

In a bit of a break from pattern, I'm going to open up the room to fill in my YT time. There's a buncha stuff happening in politics, and I'm sure we have different ways of keeping up with things.
I haven't done the after-party stream mostly because I just get really tired after the stream and have a hard time making it to my Saturday morning event. Let's see if we can get a bit more watch party time in during the week.
This is going to be far less structured, and I may drift in and out as I juggle a bunch of other stuff.
I'll be watching the Sargon vs Metokur stream from 2018. It came up somehow this last week.

In line with that, the first part of the Watch Party will consist of Red Green and Pony Christmas Songs. These are the songs where they sing regular christmas songs instead of the ones clipped from the show.
There are some other animations here and there, shorts, and at least one pony non-christmas song (it's about Flawless again) , and we'll wrap up the pre-Drawn Together stuff with k00l's Pony Threat Simulator 13 that was released about a month ago.
I think I screwed up my Drawn Together episode numbers somewhere, so you'll notice a discrepancy here and there.
