The basement is... almost entirely clear. There are stone walls, and a roof held up by the few remaining timbers. It is fairly large, many feet across and wide. Much dirt and dead plant matter populates the floor, while walls have cobwebs. At the far end is... what looks like the entrance to a deeper cellar.

It's a cramped, stinky, dark tunnel, with the threat of undead further on. I don't see much reason Silver would want to stop and inspect any corpses on the way, other than to confirm who they are and that they are indeed still dead.
Unless that was the one corpse in the entire area with loot on him. In which case the rest of the group is free to loot him as they see fit.
