Dark Star is currently carrying Blue Skies to their bedroom. He was panting after all the exertion of carrying her from the HQ to their house, but he was doing it for her. It’s time for him to celebrate, and he knows no mare better than Skies to finish up the celebration with. Skies giggles, obviously loving all the attention Star is giving her. “While I did say I wanted to be more passive, I didn’t mean you needed to show me your strength. I told you the work at the docks was enough to prove that,” she flutters her eyes seductively. “Nevermind the other missions you have made after that, you stud.”

Dark Star fondly remembers his missions that finally made him reach the rank of major. He had essentially solidified the Black Hooves’ political position and even made the independence of Baltimare possible after the many jobs, battles and the war against the griffon and changeling menace to the point where they stood down and reclaimed a quarter of the colony for his faction. He feels proud of it. Star kisses Skies on her neck. “Well, you are my mare. Of course I would carry you to the ends of Equestria.” This earns a little purr of affection from her as well as a big blush.

“I bet you are expecting a little reward after all of your work.” She whispers to his ear smoothly, then giggles some more. This causes Star’s member to come out of his sheath and harden slowly. Star sure was lucky to be with her. He had to thank Iron for the little push back at the docks, because he loves to be with Skies from the bottom of his heart after that moment. The item I'd really have my eye on is a +2 Magic Titanium Breastplate, which would give +7 AC with virtually no drawbacks. But that would cost 8200, which more than almost any pony could afford. I think a basic Flack Jacket with magical enchantment might be a better option though for most of you

Breastplates aren't really right for rangers. They cause penalties to essential skills, and once they get to 18 Dex, they become a hindrance.
Tower Shields are for guarding: they'll protect you from arrows, axes, Ray attacks and Dragonfire, so long as you're on guard. Every fighter should have one just in case.

She leads him to the stairs again, and takes him down a level, to the basement. When she opens the door, he sees a floor more befitting a secret police headquarters. While the upper floors, even the first, look more like hotel rooms, the basement level has concrete floors and rooms with bare concrete. She places hoofcuffs on Dark Star, which are more than a bit uncomfortable.

She places him in a cell - and that is indeed what it is - and leaves him there. It is a full two or three minutes before the white unicorn officer comes down with the Stallion in question. He is a black haired grey Earth pony, and he is placed in an adjacent cell that is seperated by bars, and appears to be the second half of what was once one room. He stares at Dark Star uneasily. "Alright, we're holding you here until we get some paper work sorted out"
