>>160880Amber peers outside the window. "Do you know if they surrounded the house?"
>>160882One answers
"No. I don't know. They must have spread out at least along the one side before approaching. They have only come through the front, at least so far."
Amber thinks she sees a griffin on the left side moving up, who is in a black uniform, and is possibly police.
[1d3 = 1][1d3 = 2] >>160883Amber looks for a servant's uniform.
>>160884Unfortunately, that is not easily available. Or at least, she does not see one within like of sight.
>>160885Oh well. Anyway, this window is too obvious, best to move to another room.
>>160886You can also roll search, wisdom modifierThe other two griffins are intrigued by the movement, watching Amber go.
The next room over is a sort of study. It exists in a sort of “tower” section; a round room with large windows and a high ceiling. It connects to another room.
>>160887Is it too late to look for such a uniform?
[1d20 = 16] >>160889Yes and no. Amber finds in a drawer in the kitchen the essential clothing and coverings of a cook.
>>160890Good enough, time to wear that then.
>>160891It is so. The primary piece is a shirt with long sleeves, but there is a headdress and pants if desired. The whole outfit is simple white, and appears to be designed to minimize hair and feather spread.
Be advised: this item of clothing does
not have openings for wings. Amber will be unable to fly or use her wings for other purposes.
>>160892Who needs to fly anyway? Now Amber goes into the study and sees what the other room is.
>>160894She enters into a room that appears to be a guest bedroom. It has windows, although with curtains and a large bed with green, floral patterns, as well as a dresser, and two other doors that branch off from it.
>>160864It is so. Silver presumably carries most, snd gives some portion to Khoi to carry.
Next comes the selection of seats.
>>160897Silver looks at the position of the screen and the rows of seats and figures the middle-most seat are probably the best for viewing the movie, if they're open.
>>160898Silver's philosophy towards the movie experience is very different from Dark Star's...
The exact middle row is taken, but it's easy enough to go just above or below. The theater is not unoccupied, but it is not especially crowded.
The creatures, presumably, take their seats.
>>160899Silver smiles at his date after they sit down.
"This is nice, already. I am excited to see movie."
>>160900She sits down in the sit, pulls up the dress with her magic so it doesn't get caught under her, leans back, and looks around. She makes an uncertain smile, which shows her small fangs and front teeth.
>>160901This just makes him smile more. He places a hoof over hers and holds it.
"You have beautiful smile, Khoi."
>>160895Entering this place would probably feel wrong, if there weren't other intruders at the moment. Hiding under the bed could always be an option, though that would be the oldest trick in the book and Amber doesn't do that. Instead, Amber looks through the other two doorways.
>>160903The door on the left: it's a closet. It has a number of clothes, shoes, sheets and such, and is big enough for a griffin to barely squeeze in, but is no walk in closet. The second leads into a sort of small room with a vanity and leading to a bathroom with a shower. This room is not a dead end, but leads through the bathroom into another room it seems. It's more blatantly a recent addition to the house, with tile walls replacing wood.
>>160904That's odd architecture. Amber goes on through the bathroom.
>>160905Past the shower and the toilet (again, obviously not a part of the original construction of the house, and built for a guest rather than a master bathroom, this enters into another bedroom with shelves, a night stand, a (smaller) window, a bed, a small closet, and a door on the right.
>>160906So it's a shared bathroom. Taking care not to be seen through the window, Amber looks to see what's beyond this door.
>>160907This leads into a hallway. The best guess is that this hallway wraps around the house on the opposite side of where the library and the stairway to the basement is.
>>160908That's convenient, being as far away from the police is wise. Amber walks along the hallway, peering out windows to see if there are any griffons outside.
>>160909No griffins are visible. The sound of steps on wood imply that rooms further down the hallway are boot so empty, however.
>>160910Do any of the windows appear to open?
>>160911In the bedroom, there is one window. It seems that by undoing a latch inside, it will unlock and tilt up to open.
>>160912Amber undoes it and climbs outside, checking to make sure it's clear. Does it look like there are any automobiles nearby?
>>160913The short answer is yes. Several are parked outside, never the road
>>160914Do they look like police cars? Where is the car Amber was supposed to take at?
>>160915Yes. There are cars by the road that appear to belong to the police, as well as carts. The car that Amber was supposed to take is pulled in by a tree, over by the driveway, slightly in front of and beside the house.
>>160916Hello! Also
>>160829*with your protection
>>160917Would it be possible to reach that car without being seen?
>>160919"Either way" He says, making a side glance, and trying to not to laugh.
>>160918I think you know what you have to do
>>160920"What have you never platonically shared a room with 2 drunken mares before?"
>>160921"I've never willingly put myself in that situation, no." He says
>>160922Yes, or stealth.
Does Amber have skill points in these? Either way, dexterity
>>160924Unfortunately for Amber, there are two officers outside
[1d20 = 2][1d20 = 11] >>160924>>160925.... But fortunately, they did not seem to hear her
>>160923Dark Night Puts his hoof to his chin in thought
"Why not? They are nice mares."
>>160925There are a lot of police here, and it's unlikely Helm will be able to convince them to leave. Unfortunately, this also means Amber's friends will likely be detained and there is nothing she can do to get them out. It would be wise to drive away, but is the luggage in the car?
>>160927"Don't tell me they just took the alcohol and your room and then didn't give anything in return." He says. At the very end, he looks up to Dark Star
>>160928At least some of it.
"
Pop."
And then
"
Pop Pop."
"
Pop Pop Pop."
>>160929"Well they tried, but i turned them down."
>>160902She looks down to Silver's hoof. Khoi neither grabs Silver's hoof back in kind, nor pulls away, but simply watches Silver's move. Her fur is soft and well kept, as Silver can feel. She briefly moves her eyes up, and says
"Uh, heh. Thank you."
>>160930"Why" He says
>>160932He makes a single nod
"Then why'd you buy then shots and take them up to your room?"
