Amber feels sorry for leaving the other griffons back there, but what could she do? She couldn't go into the library or the police would detain her, and hiding wouldn't work because they would probably search the whole manor. There's a small population of zebras just a little further west that were brought in as laborers centuries ago, there's a few zebras that have come in over the years as foals of sailors and traders, and of course there's a whole bunch of them who immigrated recently. And of course these have made zonies, though zebras tend to stay with zebras. Bats... they mostly keep to themselves down south, mostly, but they've started moving into the city these past few decades. But a bat zony? I... think I've seen one? Not sure."
