Dark Star is very possible slowly having the life squeezed out of him, unable to move his forelegs. Her grip remains tight. Her chest, neck, and forelegs press into him, and he can feel short, course fur.
"I always wanted to go. June is a legacy student. His father went here. Mars is real smart. I didn't think I could go here." She pulls away just enough to look Dark Star in the eye
