So it happens that 4chan got hacked and lot of stuff is getting leaked.

This is big. Amongst the janny list(together with email addresses), even the yotsuba source code was leaked.

END OF A ERA
Well I’ll shit post here from now on
>>382850Let us see, beginning on December 16, 2024 til April 14, 2025; there are 120 days.
Then 226,745,669 Jewish Internet Defense Posts posts divided by 120 days is= 1,889,547 posts per day
Then 1,889,547 posts divided by 24 hours is= 78,731 posts an hour.
Then 78,731 posts an hour divided by 60 minutes is= 1312 posts per minute.
Then 1312 posts per hour divided 60 seconds is= 22 posts per second.
Make your own conclusions, but for me this is 98% jew bots and the rest are real flesh kikes.
Besides Occupied Palestine, take into account the numbers from other ZOG countries which are also pumping jewish subversion.
>>382850Certainly explains all the meme flags.
>>382847honestly feels kind of glow but also kind of real. maybe inter-department feuding?
>>382853anon im not sure if you fucked up the math or the dates
>>382860It bothers me to have to admit to being wrong, but it certainly appears that not only WAS this a diabolical and organic thing, but Soyjack of all fucking groups just embarrassed ALOT of the internet.
>>382864the only thing that made me feel nervous about glow is the lack of passes leak. the anon who did it said that he did not want to implicate normal users but i dont really give a shit about finding some pass cucks I want someone to be able to do ratio data on where the bots are coming from, though if anything here
>>382850is true then it's basically a superfluous effort.
>>382864not much to embarrass as 4chan technically is fucking old codebase that uses old php version, old mysql, old php mysql module that has been deprecated for at least 15 years and was replaced with mysqli module, etc. My wonderings in this is that was this remote or onsite hack, as if it was remote one, why hasn't this happened long before as nothing doesn't seem to be updated in years.
>>382860>honestly feels kind of glow but also kind of real. maybe inter-department feuding?Probably organic, pretty sure all it would have taken is getting access to one mod's credentials. The feds use 4chan the way they use reddit, so taking it down themselves wouldn't make sense and if they did take it down it would be via seizure. I think other countries are also out of the question as /pol/ is a very useful place for countries like China, Russia, and Israel to spread propaganda. Of course if I were the hacker, I would have wiped the ban list and blocked Israel and Indian ips from posting just to try and do something useful and send a message to the mods.
>>382868when i said glow by department fueding i mean more along the lines of ackshully dodge. but yeah i have no real idea what the goal is here i just hope trump and his kike supporters leave our anime website alone for once.
>>382867Main part to make the hack possible was to get the servers real ip address. So I assume that was what kept a hack from happening earlier. But who knows, might have been a few different entities having full access and this was just the first to pull the trigger and take it to next level.
also I dont have a kiwi account can someone tell that retard who keeps kvetching about moot in gamergate that his uncle worked at silver stream media and also that the situation exploded over /v/ finding out about the DoD funding?
>>382862Oh fucking shieeeeeeeeeeeeet. I fucked up by 10 years. I apologize.
So, it is 120 + 3650 days (10 years)= 3770 days.
Then 226,745,669 Jewish Internet Defense Posts posts divided by 3770 days is= 60,144 posts per day.
Then 60,144 posts per day divided by 24 hours is= 2,506 posts an hour.
Then 2,506 posts an hour divided by 60 minutes is= 42 posts per minute.
Sensitive data won't be released because the leaker/hacker has beef with leto.
I give it a week or so till 4chan is back up
>>382874>a weekSurely if they take that long the remaining high quality users will flee to altchans and twitter.
>>382875If that happens they will just replace them with bots, not a big deal
>>382877How would that be any different?
>>382878What do you mean?

>>382933That's what stinks about this. It's perfectly plausible that Sharty or whoever infiltrated 4chan staff, and that the infrastructure is over a decade out-of-date, and that moderation isn't the band of 1337 haxx0rs they used to be, or that Hiro is AWOL and incompetent,... that all tracks. But if I were in Vegas, my bet is that there's an as-yet unmentioned co-conspirator still on 4chan staff.
>>382935>the website used FreeBSD 10.1I didn't know how old that was, so I looked it up:
>FreeBSD 10.1-RELEASE was announced 14 November 2014,[27][28] and was supported for an extended term until 31 December 2016.[29] The subsequent 10.2-RELEASE reached EoL on the same day>In October 2017 the 10.4-RELEASE (final release of this branch) was announced, and support for the 10 series was terminated in October 2018. Lmao
>>382941Still though, we'd be talking about a rogue element and not the community as a whole. So what's the motive? Surely someone didn't just hack one of the world's most renowned discussion forums, dox all the staff, and leak their source code because they were mad about jannies or something like that.

Regarding more ontopic things, I have sneaking suspicion this 4chan outage was planned. Allow me to explain.
>adjusts tinfoil hat
America, the UK and the European Union have, over the past several years, created legislation/bills/laws in the interests of protecting children from online harm in one capacity or another.
The measures to counteract online harm (as vaguely determined by these various laws) requires excessive manhours and safeguards in order to implement effectively, or just outright drop serving users in these territories.
As much as a cesspit 4chan was, it was home to some rather dark minded people who went out and did some horrible things, so naturally the governments who created these laws would have 4chan in their sights for a financial murderfest, all in the interest of 'protecting the children'.
I then offer the proposition that this was a deliberate act. A means of killing off 4chan beforr a financial bomb went off, or law enforcement got involved. We all know it was a honeypot, especially after trump was elected the first time (search /pol/archives for tranime before 2016 compared to after), and I have reason to believe not everyone on there was a psychopath capable of utmost cruelty, just a bunch of spergs with nowhere else to go.
Moreover, I don't find the following believable.
>10 year old FreeBSD install, no updates yet public facing
>hacker had access for over a year
>DB not released
>Slapped together code
I even suspect the files released (a8z45n.7z) aren't even the legitimate code running in production. I very well could be wrong, but something doesn't quite add up.
>>383020Wish I knew where /scaly/ went. r/dragons is both dead and also full of the most vapid shit
Ahem...
Reminder that the entire sharty mod discord server was leaked on election night where Froot made pedophilic jokes about Epstein
files.catbox.moe/bsvj2n.7z
Reminder that data showing ALL of the sharty namefags were in various soycords, including colony which was a literal CP/Grooming server (kiwitroons helped cover this up)
files.catbox.moe/dy0vtg.zip
The antioch shooter (whitest soytroon btw) was connected to their site and actively posted on the sharty and soyjak.blog.
https://watchpeopledie.tv/h/aftermath/post/272247/antioch-school-shooting-january-22nd-2025It's also important to note that the vast majority of actual /qa/ era soyspammers were Foodists so not above making jokes about CP, Daisy's Destruction or zoophilia, the entire userbase of the sharty was replaced overnight.
https://ghostarchive.org/archive/iF1IvSoytroons are completely and totally OBSESSED with emulating the old internet, so much so that they actively copy and emulate everyone else around them due to being absolutely creatively bankrupt, they copied Encyclopedia Dramatica with the soy wiki, and the Soysylum is just a shitty version of the SCP foundation, they're obsessed with the old internet but don't seem to grasp the fact that their shitty moral crusader LARP would've gotten them BTFO on any of the platforms their obsessed with, including old Encyclopedia Dramatica which quite literally encouraged people to spam CP on ebaumsworld.
>>382864Soyjack aka the sharty is a O9A/the com tranny fed group that grooms/entraps right wing people online.
They are literally fed backed glowniggers htat groomed Solomon Henderson into doing a mass shooting.
>>383024>This was plannedAgreed, and your analysis - while including aspects that had not been considered previously - is quite compelling. This feels more like either weaponized incompetence or deliberate sabotage on the part of the site and management, that was only set off by this one guy.

>>383026To add onto this, a few members of the colony soycord were involved in sexually extorting a minor to produce a film called "Mao's Destruction"

>>383033Honestly, that's the most embarrassing aspect of all this. Yes, 4chan is obviously a more valuable 'target', but when they (Soyjack) came at us they were soundly BTFO. For 4chan to fall like this is just, well embarrassing as said.

Gonna post this here too if pones want a glow narrative behind the hack. The guy behind this account is an indian pedophile, child groomer and scam artist who used to run the kaliacc network on twitter under the name Sonya. His remilia corporation/milady network has been funded directly and indirectly (passage press) by Peter Thiel, who funds other right wing controlled opposition like the BAP network.

My guess is the three .edu emails are just college students who were dumb enough to use their school email for their janny logins. I looked at the first one, which is @g.hmc.edu, and it seems like that domain is specifically for students. If you look here
https://www.hmc.edu/biology/faculty-staff/ you can see that all the profs and admin staff have @hmc.edu emails, while the two with @g.hmc.edu look to be students working for the department as some kind of assistants.

All they need to do is upgrade Ghostscript to a version that isn't riddled with CVEs, and maybe adjust the way they're calling it if the command-line arguments for it changed. >>383177Like anon said here
>>383179 it's not really that hard, yet we could have a whole altchan for ponies. Make /mlpg/ like /g/ on 4chan and it would be good enough.
>>383185>>383177We've been asked repeatedly, i assume by the same person, "make a board that isn't /mlpol/ but is some more specific thing." We've responded again and again "Just post that thing you want on the main board. It's within topic."
Before /mlp/ was made on 4chan, pony posters didn't say "Wow, I really want to post ponies but it doesn't feel on topic here. I don't feel safe to post." They posted ponies everywhere regardless of the wishes of everyone else, until the mods gave up and made /mlp/. After the April 1st merged board of /mlpol/ was frozen, we didn't just say "guess we'll die then" and stop posting, we continued posting relentlessly on /qa/ until
that board was frozen, and we came here. If you want to post you'll post, regardless of whether you feel satisfied of how "on topic" it is.
If you're not posting to a board that is very obviously about ponies, it's because you don't want to post. Not because the topic forms some kind of imaginary barrier.

>>383214>>383209I've been questioning if the "no generals" rule should be removed for a while now.

>>383214>proprietary ASPNetChan codeeven 4chud is open sause, why stay pooprietary?
>>383186This is assuming everything is just like /b/ and that sucks. The always present politics is a deterrent from regular posts, and always has been. It's not about safety, it's about the general culture. More people don't want pony and politics mixed than people who want politics and ponies as a board. It's that simple, and it's why this board has always been dead. /pol/ and /mlp/ can sustain themselves and did. It's not like /co/ where one blanket board is needed for all cartoons.
Where did everypony go, though? I'm familiar with a fair few splinterchans and they've all seen a modest rise in activity, but there must be thousands of thousands of spergs still out there someplace.
I don't really believe newfags exists. My thoughts are that as fast as 4chan is up again, regardless what is leaked, people will return to their home on the internet. >>383328Honestly I'm just happy to get guys off 4chan. This place is great too, been coming on and off for a few years. Maybe even 8kunt will get revived to spite Hiroyuki.
>>383329Thanks anon. No one thinks this is the scenario anyone planned for, we're making the best of it like everyone.
>>383329I'm trying to keep an eye on every information source I can so if you know of anywhere else people might have ended up you should post it. So far this place seems most active funnily enough.
>>383329infinity was killed off by glows, its never going to be revived. what they brought back was an unusable and radioactive trashheap.
>>383331nhnb feels more active at the moment
>>383329Yes, this place is good too, but it can be really slow at times. Liveposting just offers a different vibe, conversations feel a lot more real and personal, a lot closer to the feeling of sitting in the same room and chatting.
>>383329/mlpol/ is kino, i didnt even know this site still existed until a year or so ago, i thought it died down. same with nhnb
>>383332Very funny post in light of what happened to 4chan.
Actually by funny coincidence /xomy/ is sort of a sister board to this site. We got fed up with 8ch admin on the exact same day you guys were kicked off 4kidz - April Fool's Exodus.
>>383340It's pretty crazy how far reaching the effects of that April Fools were. All sorts of random corners of the internet appearing and then also somehow surviving for years.
>>383337Feds feared infinity's autistic organization, 4chan is really nothing like it and infinity hasn't ever been replicated again, all the alt spliters suck and have no activity. Which is why people went back to 4chan, people dont want to post in dead boards.
>>383316>Russian flagYou were born to suffer. It is your purpose. Embrace the suffering.
>>383344I need to brush up on my Russian with duolingo and visit dvach's mlp board some more, the russian side of the fandom is actually thriving still from the look of things.
>>383346I've never visited much but from talking to russian anons time to time, the russian chans died a miserable death long ago and what little activity exists is complete faggotry.
AFAIK the fandom as a whole is still hanging on but it's basically all on tabun nowadays.
>>383344Nah, i am actually pretty content with my life. A man doesn't need much to be happy - a roof over his head, some food and a stable internet connection. And ponies, of course.
>>383346>visit dvach's mlp board some more,Dvach is dead. There's a good amount of activity on websites like Tabun, VK pony groups, pony telegram channels and other places like that, some conventions - the pony community in Russia is very much alive, even if less active than in the US (obviously, there are less people in russia). But russian pony boards are dead. Like, 10 posts per day dead.
did NHNB just die for anyone else?
>>383349Ooops, forgot to turn off my vpn, sorry.

>>383350Yeah showing bad gateway.
>>383329I've never lurked much since that april fool's but honestly I should. It seems much comfier than nhnb, in everything from the website to the rules. I'll try to stick around even if 4cuck comes back, and if not then I might live with having to make my home here.
Honestly most of all I think I'm going to miss the various slow boards on 4chan. /g/ was mostly shit but had some neat generals. /diy/ was fun to browse. /ck/ also. All of this is shit that will not have any kind of bunker prepared, and won't have any "community" coherent enough to organise anything somewhere else, and people will probably just disperse to who knows where, maybe random discords, twitter, or just nowhere at all. And there won't be anything quite like /tea/ or /3dpg/ or /ohm/ or /dpt/ anymore, and it's not something you'd be able to find anywhere else.
I never thought I'd say this but I do hope 4chan isn't dead forever.
Yup
>>383350 just saw it go down, bad gateway error so potentially they had a massive user spike and Cloudflare cut them off fearing a DDos
What is the bump limit here by the way?
>>383346>dvach1) it's harkach
2) unlike 4ch, it's literally a government honeypot (run by mail.ru/vk, a pseudo-private company)

>>383350Nowhere is safe. I always knew bronies were the most persecuted race
Opinions on sinister Celestia worship?
>>383352Basically we moved to a weeb ERP site called meguca after sunshine got exposed back in April 2017. Made a /pol/, trolled the fuck out of Kampfy for months (if you've ever heard of megooka tranny goons, that was us), had some surprisingly influential RW ecelebs drop in sometimes and then we got nuked after doorcuck fucked up the Halle synagogue shooting (not one of us probably) and the site admin got doxed. We bounced around russian liveboards for a while until we stayed on nullchan.
>>383352Hmm, I'll try. In summary people stopped trusting pig farmer Jim the admin, he just had way too much visible glowing. Then there was the mod team, lead by IMKampfy, and he went increasingly out of control after blompf's first election win. Any criticism of the zionist orange was getting binned and banned. Not just that, but he was increasingly on drugs or some shit, because he would have epic meltdowns in the middle of the night for hours.
Around that time is when the Sunshine leak happened. 8chan was building dossiers on its users, and we dipped.
>>383350Yup, looks like it, nhnbs servers burned up once they got posters. They never had any infrastructure to be a real bunker.
>>383365>Nohoovesnoboard died
>>383360>harkach's admin shilled for rutube ffsYou've got an even more concrete proof - he LITERALLY said in an interview with Varlamov (available on youtube) that he provides all information to Russian authorities when they ask for it even when he doesn't have to because he thinks that "we should help our police". What a joke.
>>383350i just want to /bale/post reeee

>>383372Another hack maybe? Seems to be quite similar to have happened to 4chan. Or did the servers just melt because more than 10 people posted at once? lol
>>383373to what happened*
>>383373they broke 1500 posts in the last hour, its definitely a server melt
>>383375In that case if they come here I hope they don't crash this one too.
>>383373Nah. the admin is just a faggot who had no history of maintaining anything like a server load since they never ever had any consistent user base they never bothered to upgrade
>>383378So they ran out of bandwidth or something?
>>383379likely overloaded the server and it just crashed.
From what I've seen, nhnb admin is insanely ban happy and definitely didn't plan for the activity spike
>>383379Nhnb built their 'bunker' on a shitware foundation, seems pretty simple enough. A number of things could happen, they got cut off because of the bandwidth, they overheated, or cloudfare cut the site since it showed signs of life which it never had (lol lmao even)
>>383371I have a whole bunch of our old memes from that era, but I don't know if I saved a whole lot of the actual, ehh, evidence. I'll poke around a little more and see what I can find. The Exodus wasn't even the craziest thing that went down over there though...

>>383385Same anon. but I'm thankful for alternatives. I can't imagine being like most other boards with no bunkers.
I hope it comes back soon too. But I'm glad for /mlpol/ and NHNB

>>383385Same anon.
I'm glad /mlpol/ exists, it looks comfy enough. I didn't think to come here until now in the evening and it's like a breath of fresh air: ponyfags still exist and are still posting. A home away from home for now.

>>383404>If you can can you give us a QRD of what they're doing there?in general or right now?
in general they dox people
right now most of the website participates in 4chan monitoring thread (Before hack it had 400 pages, now it's in 600s)
>I can't get onto kiwifarms from here without a VPN or TorAirstrip One strikes again
>>383402Soyjack isn’t loading for me.
>>383405Up till now I for one haven't bothered because 90% of my time was spent on 4cuck (and I'm not jumping through hoops to buy a pass)
Maybe now I should actually grab one finally...
>>383395I'll admit that /mlp/ is far from being a perfect board, but it's still a good place. At times even a great place. If you ignore all the bait and shitposting at times you can participate in insightful discussions and talk with very interesting people (this is one of the main reasons why i appreciate imageboards so much - you can stumble upon genuinely interesting people). It's really not as bad as you're making it out to be.
>I can't get onto kiwifarms from here without a VPN or Tor.You should really get a vpn, just in case. I've got several because like half the Internet (including 4chan and youtube) is banned in Russia and it's practically unusable if you don't know how to bypass censorship.

>>383414It had flaws but it wasn't unusable. The 60 second post timer was a non-issue in 99% of cases, and since they got rid of recaptcha v3 a couple years ago even the captchas have been fine to type in.
It could've been better (e.g. no eqg) but for what we had as the most active pony imageboard, it was good enough.
>>383417There's 600 pages of shit I'm not going to read. It doesn't look that interesting for new information. Though there is an article.

>>383422I'll admit, one of the things I liked most was /mlp/ allowed eqg since I'm a massive sunset shimmerfag

>>383414>including 4chanI wonder why Russian 4chan ban is so...Unprofessional? boards.4chan.org is banned while ALL other subdomains are not, making posting possible
it's literally a question of switching from boards.4chan.org to *.4chan.org
>>383422I don't think 4chan's post timer is a bad thing. The problem is pairing it with a captcha every post.
>>383426same, but sometimes their autism leaks to the greater chudnet
>>383424>>383425Yeah it works, my bad
>>383427I don't like eqg but I do prefer shimmer to glimmer
>>383431Meh, once they got rid of the picture captchas and you can type it in straight up most of the time (and sometimes spend 2 seconds quickly moving a slider) it's really not that bad.
No captcha is obviously better, but for a big site that has no choice but to deal with dedicated spamers and bots, it's understandable.
>>383436There are easy captcha and hard ones. If you try to post from a new device you will get a 900 second wait and hard captchas but if you posts a few times to prove you're probably not a bot they get a lot easier and less frequent.
>>383430IIRC the site got banned because someone snitched to the roskomnadzor and sent them a link to the yaoi board. They probably tried to block only that board. Maybe that's the reason.
By the way, i am REALLY surprised /mlpol/ isn't banned. Probably nobody snitched yet.
>>383437The "hard" captchas are still easy.
The 900 second wait is the real killer. Sucks for posting with fresh cookies. Undeniably a bad change, but it's also a pretty recent thing.
>>383421Did you know the admin of nhnb was the same one downvoting every single picture of g5 on ponerpics?
>>3834364chan would have to deal with a lot less spam if the mods weren't cancerous faggots and they got rid of the indians. Half the site is probably jeets and the staff get a kick out of violating their own rules while banning people they don't like.
https://files.catbox.moe/yypkoa.txtfunny commit messages from the 4chan repo
>>383439It prevents ban evaders from being able to spam too hard if every time they get banned they need to wait 10 minutes to start spamming again. Overall I don't think it's a bad thing.
>>383305Retard question: the global rules say "no generals" but then reference the issues /pol/ has with general. If /poner/ is to be used as a bunker for /mlp/, would pony generals be allowed on it? For better or for worse, a huge chunk of modern /mlp/ activity was in generals nowadays.

>>383452Personally I feel like the whole show is brought down by the terrible first movie that serves as a rotten base for everything that comes after. Also as a concept I don't understand why they made it so far removed from the FIM world. Like why even bother having a whole AU cast when they could have just brought the actual M6 through the portal.
>>383462A movie about them acting like ponies and having to sneak around humans would have been funny.
>>383462>>383452In my opinion the whole premise is flawed. I watch MLP because it's a cute show about cartoon ponies set in a fantasy world. Nothing can be further away from that than a fucking high school show. I've still watched all the movies but i'm not a big fan of them. I don't possess the same visceral hatred towards Eqg like some other anons - i simply don't care. It doesn't move me like ponies do.

I have a bunch of videos queued up from the regular talking heads and a few unrecognized voices, the SoyJack thread, the Kiwi Farms thread, and this thread open. I have a chat in a chatroom to read, and I've absorbed bits and pieces of stuff on Mastodon.
Time to see how bad my information addiction is, and what's going on.
Current state of sites:
4chin - broken
nhnb - working
mlpol - working
soyjack - working
pony.social (mastodon)- working
pone.social (mastodon) - working
ponerpics - working
Looking at soyjack as a data point to show that it doesn't look like a wider attack on imageboards.
Holy crap, the soyjack thread is at over seven-thousand five-hundred replies. I have ZERO chance of following this in real time.

I put together a one hour playlist from YouTube with music, animations and such, focusing on fan-made MLP content, then there's an episode or two of a show. We transition to the second half of the night here operated by someone else who shows some shorts, a classic show, then a movie, then ponies. The japanese dub of G4 and an ep of G3.

If the content in the Kiwi thread is any indication, /mlp/ may be gone for quite a while, or worse. Huge shame. what up fags? Long time no post, but I figured I'd drop by after I heard the news. Here's another bump
It's very unlikely that 4chan will return soon. It wasn't just compromising a single account, the entire server was compromised. The only time the board is slid is when it's a raid, but threads automatically archive so as soon as the spam is removed everything is unchanged, so bump limits may have been removed entirely

>>383772/mlp/ was slow enough that threads could stay like easily 10+ hours with no bumps at all, so just one or maybe two anons would be enough to keep a thread up. A thread dying in "a few hours" (so like 4-5) would be very rare and a sign of unusual posting activity or maybe someone trying to slide things.
Not everything has to be /v/ or /pol/ tier, those really are too fast to follow unless you're actually actively online. But /mlp/ was so slow you could still easily check your favourite threads once a day and they'd have like 10-15 posts each. And I do think that's somewhat comfier than the entire board getting 10-15 posts in a day and a thread you like maybe getting two posts per week.

What do you guys think about this assessment? I'm inclined to agree. Should 4chan die forever, i don't think any replacement site would get much traction. Everyone would scatter and huddle in their own small boards, discord circlejerks and other similar places. plenty of people face this every day when they see the site they knew change for the worse. >>383850Its the layout for me. Other alt chans, including this one, unfortunately have confusing and unpleasant lay out. 4chan layout is just less offensive to the eye and more intuitive. Sharty for example genuinely hurt my eyes, the background is too bright and the font is too small and messy.

>>383859This many janitors and the board is a massive shithole.
>>383850It's rather pessimistic but not necessarily entirely wrong.
A bunker needs widespread knowledge and good organisation. I think modern /mlp/ is possibly too fractured for that to be possible. /vt/, for example, apparently immediately moved to some other website, but /vt/ was much newer so they had already just built up a super fast board basically from nothing only a couple of years ago, making it much easier for everyone to coordinate a migration. /mlp/ has over a decade of history, multiple groups that hate each other (to make things better, often with variously complex overlaps between the groups), nobody agreeing on the best way to run things with everybody having strong opinions on this, and plenty of anons either having holed themselves up in some small selection of generals, or just taking frequent massive breaks, etc.
The one thing that every /mlp/ poster has in common is that we were all tolerating /mlp/ as it was, no more rules and no fewer, no better jannying and no worse. It was the lowest common denominator and as such the one place where everyone could still be counted on posting in. With that option removed, and everyone forced to "pick" their "favourite" alternative, the rifts in ideology between the posters are just going to open up immediately and you'll end up with competing camps hating each other. You already see this with nhnb and here.
Maybe, maybe, if there was a single obvious "alt-/mlp/" that everyone knew of and treated as the obvious bunker/alternative, with no other viable or trusted ones existing, maybe then a migration would've been possible. But as it stands we've already splintered into two on day 1, and I think that anon is also not wrong that plenty of anons just didn't think about bunkers at all and don't know about either of these.
>>383874>You already see this with nhng and hereFalse. Nobody who has been here prior to 2 days ago knows the first thing about nhng, and the posts that assert animus are inauthentic and homosexual.
>>383874Yeah, good post. I feel like most of these problems come down to people caring too much about stupid, irrelevant stuff. It's the fate of all communities that have been around for a long period of time - you have multiple little cliques and circlejerks, and people get too comfortable in their little groups and begin forget why we are all here in the first place.
>>383879Sorry, vpn. It's weird when you don't get hit with a "vpn posting not allowed" message. This board has too few anti spam measures
>>383875I am talking about specifically the refugees. I'm not saying there was ever any bad blood between nhnb and /mlpol/, I'm saying the /mlp/ posters trying to pick a board are already picking a favourite one of the two and forming camps against the other, such as calling nhnb ruletrannies (even based on hearsay and wrong info) or nhnb calling any critics barbiefags (even without any eqg context).
>>383880>This board has too few anti spam measuresdoes the board even needs them?
>>383874Oh yeah, forgot to mention - i wasn't talking about /mlp/ specifically but rather about the site as a whole. I don't think there will ever be another 4chan if the original one goes down for good.
>>383882I think this board was spammed by Sharty pretty badly a couple years ago. They have an article about raids on this website on their wiki
>>383884>I think this board was spammed by Sharty pretty badly a couple years agothey spam everything, including (now dead) 4chan
>>383884>I don't think there will ever be another 4chan if the original one goes down for good.remember tirach and harkach?
>>383886That was another time. When was tirech created, 16 (!!!) years ago? The internet was very different back then. I feel like imageboards are a pretty obsolete website format as of now in the sense that here's much less demand for them in comparison with the early 2010s.
>>383883it's 3pm you dongus
>>383884Oh yeah, for the entire site it's looking grim. I don't much care about /pol/ or /v/ - though I admit the big boards like that did serve kind of as my doomscrolling fodder, I never made a tiktok or anything but just refereshing the /pol/ catalog and scrolling through was a go-to timewaster. Still, objectively not important (to me).
But I've already lamented above about some of the smaller boards. /g/ had a lot of consumerist garbage but some very nice discussion too, and was healthily fast - almost every general-purpose altchan has a "tech" board but they're all absolute graveyards. /diy/ had some nice threads to hang out in. /ck/ was fun to scroll through. /vg/ was mostly a shiftest but there are one or two generals that also felt like part of my home, I'll miss /egg/ if it dies for good, and again the good ones didn't have an associated discord or anything so there's no way for anyone to coordinate and nobody planned any backups. /wsg/ was fun to scroll though once or twice a month. /an/ had some quality threads, and again 8chan apparently has zoo allowed on its /mlp/ but it's going to be orders of magnitude slower, and without any of the non-explicit comfy discussions and the non-horse stuff.
All of this stuff will basically be gone forever without 4chan. Aside from the big boards, 4chan was basically THE western imageboard, and as such THE host for hobby boards. Without 4chan, various hobby topics simply do not have any imageboard space left at all, period. It's all going to be discord servers, maybe half-dead forums, and garbage like that.
>>383750Ok so, if zebras are niggers, what are actual black horses?
>>383891Aryans with black hair
>>383890>All of this stuff will basically be gone forever without 4chan. Aside from the big boards, 4chan was basically THE western imageboard, and as such THE host for hobby boards. Without 4chan, various hobby topics simply do not have any imageboard space left at all, period. It's all going to be discord servers, maybe half-dead forums, and garbage like that.Very true, and that's why i want 4chan to come back up so much. There's simply no place like it. Although i feel like me may be doomposting too much - i mean, the team behind the site is still there. They've got their work cut out for them, sure, but rebuilding the website isn't an insurmountable task. 4chan will be back, probably before may.
>>383888I'm more optimistic about imageboards
when you think about it, IBs are the simplest form of public forum one can have on the Internet: No registration, just text, images and numbered posts
A noticeable chunk of zoomers dislike modern web, some of them migrate to private discussion platforms just to keep themselves "sane"
let's ignore common problem of private discords, okay?/ I do believe that, given a proper environment, boards can become "popular" as they once were years ago.
>>383895>accidental opened oekaki>with canvas disabledlol
>>383831I was on /fimfiction/ ranting about the Glim fanfic that the kiwi author abandoned since 2013 and I was severely invested in
Then I noticed the /qa/ thing with the hirogook post and the music, listened to it on repeat for quite a while and then everything died when I refreshed the thread
>>383895>I do believe that, given a proper environment, boards can become "popular" as they once were years ago.Well, i suppose that's where we disagree. I don't think imageboards will ever truly die - like you said, they offer a very easy way to communicate with other people and on imageboards you don't have to commit to anything or worry about keeping up your image or anything like that. There will always be some demand for such forums. On the other hand, i feel like you are overestimating the amount of people who care about or need this sort of thing. People are fine with Discord and Reddit and whatever other social media they may prefer. Imageboards will always be a pretty niche thing, with 4chan being an exception due to how popular it is.
>>383898> or worry about keeping up your image That's an absolutely huge thing, though. Lots of 4chan's boards were driven by posts/threads that were used as a "test" before they "risked" posting them to reddit
>>383884I hope this site doesn't have the same pdf vulnerability 4chan had.
>>383349>stable internet connectionYeah... about that... *dns blocks your favorite thing*
>>383904That's what vpns are for
Afternoon, this thread seems to be the best place to post.
I'm one of the admins of Ponepaste, I've put up a banner to help lost anons find their way to find more pony.
A few have asked to add this place to the list if you want to send some traffic your way.
If you want me too then I will, the offer is there.
>>383908Good man. Let's all remember to give the newfags a warm welcome, they're coming from barbiefag territory.
>>383910Alright, adding mlpol to banner.
>>383705Here is how fucked up Peter Thiel is, sir.
>>383816>More shartytranny advertising
>>382929most likely from canada
I haven't been here in a long ass time, came to see if you horse fuckers outlived 4chan. Glad you made it.
>>383933Yeah, the amount of esl I saw from leafs was even greater than mutt flags.
It was especially easy to tell them apart from actual canucks when they got riled up over shitposters fucking with them.
>>383151hello anon from slop, I'm without a home and don't know where to post my slop. Were you the anon doing human ponies?
>>383219I haven't been here in the past few years, and just remembered about this place today. For what it's worth, I always felt that the "no generals" rule was completely useless. There are still general threads that persist for ages, like that eternal Trixie thread. All that the rule accomplished is that the general threads on this site superficially avoid the G-word in their titles.
While we're still here, is ponerpics ever going to get fixed? There are several functions that straight up don't work like "Related" and galleries.Next and previous image don't work neither. Is there any chance these bugs are going to get fixed?
>>383692Thank you for your input. ^^
>The Princess and Kaiser and Heart of WarI will check them out. Is Heart of War the one about Flurry Heart become a warrior princess or ruler?
>>383963Yeah it jumps between her, Anon, and an oc.
I think both technically have her becoming the sole monarch, just with vastly different undertones. Fantastic reads by all means, should probably keep you occupied for 3 or so weeks.
>>383972>>383963>incompleteI strongly urge you to think about this fact before you delve in. I fell for it with "Asylum" and i fell for it with "Equestria's Twilight", and the longer and more engaging the story, the more awful you feel when it ends on a cliffhanger and the author has no intention of ever finishing it. You do you, but i have learned my lesson and only read finished stories now.
>>383975Wise words, wise words.
I started on The Princess and the Kaiser myself when it was getting nearly weekly updates, and look where it is now - over a year gone by with zero progress.
>>383975Jej. I once read a manga that accidentally did a late series character development ~40 chapters in, walked it back, then made another 100 chapters of haremslop. Complete waste of time.
>>383977It's better not to read incomplete stuff, but there's always hope. For example, the author of "after that fateful night" came back ELEVEN years later and finished the story.
https://www.fimfiction.net/story/3669/after-that-fateful-night
>>383980vpn again.
Also, an anon from /fimfic/ downloaded a fimfiction archive, analyzed it and found a number of other stories that had new chapters added like 10 years later. Of course these are extremely rare outliers, but you never know.
>>383975Brutal
I pleasantly spent 2 weeks going at a leisurely pace through 130k words of Not My Destiny and Glim, getting invested into the caracters, only to hit the fact that its been left incomplete 12 years ago
>>383975>>383977I see where you are both coming from, and I might only be speaking for myself when I say this.
But reading as many stories as possible gives some very helpful insights if you intend on creating your own fic. Be it with plot direction, pacing, and even genre to an extent.
Ive followed Heart of War since 2017 and have subconsciously compared every other single piece I've read with it. So much so that I want to write my own, but don't want to disappoint any readers by inadvertently dropping off the face of the earth.
>>383980>>383982This does happen, but it happens extremely rarely, and in the vast majority of cases even if there is one more update it is almost always goes like this
>author comes back after years and years>posts new chapter>"hey guys I'm back! I'm gonna finish my old story now!">never logs in againThe cases of an ancient story actually getting picked back up AND FINISHED are probably in the single digits, especially if the gap is longer than 2-3 years (a "short" hiatus like that is a bit more plausible).
Mind you for Princess and Kaiser, I don't think it's totally dead, I've heard that apparently the author is really busy IRL but has still been working on upcoming chapters. Plus a single year is not a death sentence yet. But it is still very jarring when you're reading regular updates and then suddenly get stuck for a literal year+, and also the fic is now downgraded from being super active and reliable to "maybe it's not dead, hopefully" which is a lot less certain.
>>383983That is a fair point. Some people also think the experience is worth the brief disappointment at the end.
Though mind you if you want to read to become a better writer, you're probably much better off reading classic literature, the kind that's critically acclaimed. Some pony fics do reach a very high standard, but most even "good" fics are more like good enough as amateur writing and enjoyable as far as ponyfics go, and of course the majority is really rather subpar and flawed.
>>383983If you want to write something you should. Maybe it will go somewhere and maybe it won't but at least you have something written that could go somewhere.
>>383985I've had ideas for a fic floating in my head for years and have committed a lot of ideas to memory and notes. I actually hashed out a rough structure for the first few chapters after reading P&K and put a few paragraphs into pastebin before crashing at my desk.
I'm set for a week of vacation after Easter Sunday, so I'll hopefully be able to throw a prologue up and get some opinions on it in the near future.
>>383988>Though mind you if you want to read to become a better writer, you're probably much better off reading classic literatureShould also add, I've been neck deep in a lot of black library books and other warhammer literature. Ciaphas Cain and the Gotrek & Felix series to name a few examples. But the mods just had to drop gr15 for the recent April fools and reactivate my itch for pone. Hence my urge to put pen to paper.
>>383983>>383988By the way, if this is the first time you're doing any creative writing, common wisdom is that (like most other things you do for the first time) it's very unlikely that you will get everything right. So just like with any other skill, it's important to start actually doing and practicing. But don't necessarily expect to put out a magnum opus with zero prior experience.
Of course that's not prescriptive, and it's possible to start writing and then improve as you go and then for example go back and re-edit earlier chapters. Writing is more important than not writing, either way. Just something to keep in mind - not meant to discourage, but rather on the opposite to encourage you to just go ahead and do it and not get bogged down in perfectionism by setting your own expectations too high for yourself, and thus never getting any practice in because you're unsatisfied with what you're coming up while lacking the practice and experience to do better.
Talking about incomplete fics, I remember when i was epicly trolled by the author. So i see this story - "letters from a friend at the end of the world"
https://www.fimfiction.net/story/65656/130k words, a Trixie redemption story - an interesting premise,
finished , so i decided to give it a read. Guess what? Turned out it's the FIRST part of the story that ends on a cliffhanger, and the second part was abandoned in 2014 after a single chapter.
https://www.fimfiction.net/story/233420/Why wouldn't you at least leave a note about it in the description or before the first chapter? I was extremely dissapointed.
>>383992Ah yes the classic Empty Horizons trick (yes I'm still mad)
>>383988Will keep an eye out for it.
Are we finally past the bump limit?
>>384000Experiment in progress.
>>384000been since after 750, but as catalog doesn't really move, keep going
>>384001Apparently so. So what do we do now? Join other threads or remake this one?
>>384004For future reference I think the bump limit is 800.
>>384003Might be 750 yeah.
>>384004This board seems slow enough that I don't see a point in remaking, at least for now.
>>384004The Mods could change the Limit, I'm not sure if they can after it's been hit or not though.
>>384009As it is past bump limit its time is limited no matter what and less and less people will be able to find it as it slides down the board. A fresh thread that collects any useful info before it disappears would probably be wise.
>>384012Fair point. So "4chan refugee rendezvous point" of sorts with a QRD of the hack details and a QRD of /mlpol/ and where to go (mainly highlighting /poner/ and
>>383305, basically)
>>383831Was in the ai thread on /mlp/, went out for dinner and then saw that "/QA/ fucking won" had been appended to everything.
>>384014or comfy 4chan happening surveillance
also another info package
>>>/poner/670 →
>>384014Something like that. There's also the janny logs to work though. I did about 7 so far and another guy a few more and I might go through more later. It's quite an interesting insight into the life of a janny, gives us an idea of what gets done for free and gives us something to do.
>>384016That's true.
Actually maybe the next thread should be posted in /poner/, since that's explicitly the /pol/-free /mlp/-only board for /mlp/ refugees. Based anons can then migrate to /mlpol/ also but those who want to remain contained won't have to venture outside.
>>384017I think an OP/qrd can just link the neocities link. A thread digging through it and posting findings sounds fun though.
>>384021but any new anons will most likely land in /mlpol/
>>384021There are loads of logs and that neocities is quite slow to load. Going through them is more difficult than you might think but I believe it's a worthy exercise overall.
>>383831Ok /trash/sdg making some humongous tittie toriels and naked Krystals.
>>383995I mean the whole second part of that story has been finished. Of course, that ended on somewhat of a cliffhanger too so I'm waiting for part 3 to be released and hopefully that'll end the story but it's such a well written fic I really don't mind because it takes so long to get through both parts. It also could be worse, you could be waiting for the author to continue Night's Favoured Child for like 12 years.
i can't bake new one as i don't currently have access to my main computers image storage
>>384023Maybe but not necessarily. I dunno, I'd make it in /poner/ but I don't have a strong opinion on it.
>>384028I am angry because it's advertised as a "trilogy" but the definition of a trilogy is three separate stories within the same continuity. The Horizons series is literally a single story, just formatted in three volumes, which is not what a trilogy is.
>>384023I concur
The meeting point for the 4chanocaust in /mlpol/ the site should be a thread on /mlpol/ the board, new bake should stay here
>>383874Can you tell me where /vt/ migrated to? After april fools I was getting along well with the Vallure thread.
>>384031>I am angry because it's advertised as a "trilogy" but the definition of a trilogy is three separate stories within the same continuityDo you want it to be three seperate stories? I kind of liked that the plot focused mostly on the mane six. I assume the author is going for a lotr style where each story continues immediately from where the last one ended and will culmiate with everyone meeting up and having some final epic showdown with celestia or some such. In any case, it could definitely be worse since author is still active unlike Night's Favoured Child where I have to assume the author died or something.
>>384031You can post where you want but a landing point on /mlpol/ for people finding the website would probably work best to gather people.
>>384038I am going to make a thread here that collects information about the hack from this thread and anything we know about when/if 4chan is coming back. You can make something on /poner/ as well if you like.
>>384035https://boards.holotower.org/hlgg/index.html from what I've heard. Checking now it looks prodigously active so seems about right.
>>384036No, I want the author to be clear about it being one story, an incomplete one, rather than slapping the "complete" label and tricking me into reading it.
>I assume the author is going for a lotr styleI agree, yeah
>where each story continues immediately from where the last one endedNo, LoTR style is where it's a single story and it ends exactly once.
>>383875>1PBIDThe fracture point exists now, and didn't exist before. People from nhnb are shitting up mlpol and /poner/, since they believe all the bad people are over here, and all the based people are over there they dont care. The old alliance of /mlp/ and /pol/ doesn't mean anything to these chronic ragefags
>>382875Mostly altchans, I should think. Xitter was regarded with contempt by most Anons there, excluding botfags and glowies constantly making Xitter screencap threads
>>382944>>382933Sharty are a tranny grooming cult backed by feds. They groomed Solomon Henderson to attempt a mass shooting. Don't underestimate their psychopathy or manipulation.
I think feds are under new management and wants their tranny cult to go away. Intel agencies don't announce firings or new plans/goals.
>>384059>No, I want the author to be clear about it being one story, an incomplete one, rather than slapping the "complete" label and tricking me into reading it.Eh, I can't really be too mad about it, if it were one story it'd still be listed as incomplete now and as you said, I may have never read it. However, I really enjoyed reading what is finished so far so I don't really have any regrets about it and I assumed the author did it so they could take breaks between writing the different installments.
>>383831Idk what it was but I was arguing with an anon about how big mares should. Judging by the real ponies, average adult equestrian mares should be around vid related. What do you guys think? Is it a good canon size for mares? Should we ask Ms. Faust how big FiM ponies are?
>>384131kek that's actually adorable
>>384134Exactly, its color make me imagine it as pre-alicorn Celestia.
>>384137>pre-alicorn Celestia.Beg your pardon?
>>384139Celestia when she is still normal mare sized, like twilight.
>>384141Oh alright, I interpreted that as she was on screen at one point in a flashback.
I haven't watched any of the episodes following the release of the movie.
>>384142It's okay, I should've worded that one differently.
>>382951>>382950>>382962my understanding of the leak was that it was the russian pony based chan that did it.
>>384137>>384139Anon is thinking of yellowstar
>>384131I personally prefer actual pony sized Ie big enough to ride. but there is no wrong way to fantasize.
>>384026while I hate gook moot and love 4chan, this is going to be a great lasting impression to anyone who thinks this retard owns 4chan.
>>384155Lasting impression on site quality too. The slow slide into shit was so slow it's hard to notice. It's a breach of fresh air being on mlpol/8chan
>>383874>The one thing that every /mlp/ poster has in commonthere was also the migration off of pastebin to ponepaste that what seemed like a supermajority also agreed upon
>>384183>pastebinI'll admit, there's times I miss it. But that's probably the nostalgia speaking.
>>384183I mean the thing is pastebin wasn't some primary community site, it was just a tool we used to host our greentexts. The tool became unusable, someone made a better tool for poni needs, everyone started using that instead.
A far cry from the board itself getting imploded and everyone having to coordinate moving somewhere else without even being able to, well, talk on the board.
>>384186you're not wrong
i was referring to the 'oh shit' factor that every anon at the time had, because all it really was one day was pastebin putting up a warning that they were going to start purging pastes (read: shit they didn't like), causing horsefuckers to panic and start archiving everything similar to what /h/ and other boards did when it was thought that sadpanda was getting shut down
that combined effort of archiving/evacuating every last pony greentext from pastebin while ponepaste could get built in the first place really stuck out to me, and the fact that /mlp/ was better prepared for pastebin's purge than /g/, /mu/, or other boards was very amusing to me
>>384187Oh yeah, archiving is some good autism. Horsefucker archiving is pretty good in general, see: TPA for youtube videos, ponemusic for music (rip though), etc. Or the boorus having multiple copies. Or the /mlpg/ archives which, as far as I can tell, are some of the few surviving archived threads from so far back.
It's nice.
>>383874>The one thing that every /mlp/ poster has in common is that we were all tolerating /mlp/ as it was, no more rules and no fewer, no better jannying and no worse. It was the lowest common denominator and as such the one place where everyone could still be counted on posting in. With that option removed, and everyone forced to "pick" their "favourite" alternative, the rifts in ideology between the posters are just going to open up immediately and you'll end up with competing camps hating each other. You already see this with nhnb and here.People are tribal in nature and it getting worse by the day. But in the end of the day it's the survival of the fittest and eventually 4chan had to go down.
>>384158unfortunately a lot of the places on 4chan i go to probably wont survive without a real chan. the idiots in
isekai wont survive smuglo.li's autistic spell everything grammatically correct /a/. /vg/ had a section for kirby, megaman, and falcom games. mlp had tech sanctuary and im just not confident we'll see that continue here but we'll see. I wonder if the mint threads will move here for now. I dont know if I ended up getting my coin or not.
>>384205>>383874personally I understand the hatred of barbies given they are ugly and all, but i hope mlpol's poner survives, we already have /ponerpics/ and honestly we need a way to preserve content from eqg especially the voice lines without atuistic ziggers starting fights over it. this isnt fucking 4chan so everyone can >nohooves to their hearts content without tranny jannies approval. that ought to be enough for people. In my opinion while I am a huge 4chan fanboy the site spiritually breathed its last death when the sage command was no longer allowed to be announced so it could not be taught to minorities.
>>384207I'll say here and say it again, fuck the tranny jannies on 4chan.
There was this russian poster on /pol/ and whenever somebody make a thread with a sexy woman pic in the op, the russian would always reply with a furry fox pic and post that say "no tail". Guess who get ban? The russian furry poster. Everyday I pray that Putin never conscript this man so he can keep posting furry fox pics and making the jannies work.
>>384212There have been many such staples of culture that were sistematically destroyed by overjannying
The BGC greek dude was also one of them, there was another russian spamming venti with "0/10" on every woman bread, the fact that one could get a very big holiday by provoking lee into the thread (I personally liked doing it with picrel, was hit or miss for both baiting barneyfag and getting b&), surely there are many other better examples
But still, 4ch is like a public walk, society in the open, even if it was full of degeneracy and overmoderation one could still get a chuckle out of it by lurking on a handpicked thread. The fact that sharties went ham on it out of self-righteous wokeism is very retarded
Even more so that the large amount of real organic traffic down there prob went out onto twitter and discord circlejerks at this point, it's only dwindling even more the whole imageboard ecosphere
>>384216to be honest i dont blame sharty but i also think they where short sighted, if i had that kind of back door i would try to find a way to get long term access.
It's baffling that anyone's treating this as if 4chan is going to die for good when we know for a fact it's infested with feds. It's too useful to them for cointel purposes to go away forever, it'll be a couple weeks at most, but it'll go back up and it'll be back to business as usual.
>>384218while I agree that it will be back up within a couple of weeks, I am unsure if it will be business as usual. I suspect that there will be a decent sized drop in users. Which might be good for some boards, but bad for places like /mlp/
>>384216overjannying have destroyed too many boards on 4chan. I know for a fact a tranny janny went hard on /u/.
I also the BGC greek guy. So many funny moments.
>>384224/u/ used to have a dedicated mlp thread back in the day and do their own rpg maker threads. it was never good even back then but its a shell of itself now which is odd given how much free real estate dykeshittery gets.
>>384218the problem isnt that we know its useful the problem is theyre a bunch of whiney inshitified retards who can barely even do their jobs on their best day of the year. nobody has any reason to think they wont cock it up enough to kill the site.
>>384225But I do miss /qa/ before it got shitted up and shut down. Jannies would you ban you if you post the "eating the corndog" meme on /pol/.
>>384222Imageboard users aren't that transient, I already know a bunch of people that keep trying to get onto the site even though they know it's down, all out of sheer rote.
>>384227Whether they can do their jobs well or not isn't the relevant bit, it's that they want 4chan to continue existing for cointel purposes. That's pretty much why it stuck around this long despite being decried globally as a so-called problem. It is actively being protected by the US feds ever since they gained control over it in the late 00s over the CP issue, and extended it to /pol/ 2016 and onwards. The US isn't even the only country with a vested interest in 4chan staying online.
>>384235>Whether they can do their jobs well or not isn't the relevant bit, it's that they want 4chan to continue existing for cointel purposesif you do a shitty job running the nuclear reactor in a submarine it doesnt matter how much you need the sub, the reactor is going to melt down and you will lose your sub. the people in charge of 4chan have no answer for this, and the fact that it got that way in the first place has everyone cogent of the fact. If they had any sense at all, they would just put the site up and hire a couple people to watch it. but they wont. they are retards anon. utter retards. they cant problem solve like this.
>>384212I could have sworn he was FSB or some level of government intelligence. His whole job was probably to shitpost anthro waifus, which I can respect. Even though I prefer pony.
>>384273You don't think it's a bit hyperbolic to be comparing a security hole in a taiwanese papermaking forum to a nuclear meltdown?
at some point i'll need to acknowledge the 4chan tabs open on my browser aren't ever going to update again, but not today. people are strange. i know enough about IT to be aware those threads aren't coming back even if the site comes back. you'd have to fight me to close them.
>>384321They have thread numbers, so when the site does come back you'll be able to look them up in the archives and also use them as a reminder of which threads to seek out again to lurk in.
That being said it's not necessarily guaranteed they'll do a post DB wipe. They might, especially if it's easier and they find the work to migrate and patch everything already hard enough, so it's perhaps even likely, but there's nothing saying that they must definitely do it.
>>384326imagine if it comes back, and everyone and their brother tries to respond to chicken jockey which crashes the site again.
>>384338chicken jockey was the last post on /qa/
I'm pretty sure /qa/ will get completely deleted with no trace of its existence persisting
>>384358Based. /mlpol/ has final victory over /qa/
>>384359Frenly reminder: Mlpol shut down /qa/ LONG before Soyjack ever thought to
a guy from here had been hanging out in my thread on trash for a couple of weeks, but now with the rush of people i doubt i'll spot him.
so, fun story about QA, from waaay back. i forgot all about this, but there used to be a guy in my group who made it his life mission to annoy QA. they fucking hated him, it was hilarious. he was an invincible ban evader that would come back any time mods banned him. crazy swedish bastard, i never found out what happened to him.
>>384430What did he post?
>crazy swedish bastardnow hold on a sec
>>384430Your thread on trash?
Glad to see you're here!
>>384440he called himself rainbow wuma, and would post smug rainbow dash pics in 10 seconds flat after every ban.
>>384442my thread was one of the last remnants of the first /b/ pony threads from a long time ago. i'm the dedicated autist that was keeping the official pony thread alive, if you ever saw it.
>>384444Yes, I recognized you. Thank you again for your dedication! I'm Hazel by the way.
>>384456i should have known because of the french flag. it's good to see you. yes, this is smokey. i was considering making a bunker thread for us, but i'm not sure which site to use. there's poner here, which seems mostly mlp types, then mlp on 8chan.moe, and there's also a trash on 8chan. any thoughts?
>>384457I thought you would recognize me because of the flag. I like this place, sp could be an option too if you want to avoid poner.
i was thinking about it, and it's possible ponies may have indirectly killed 4chan. because when i showed up there, it was a wild west in terms of moderation. People screamed and screamed to "bring back snacks!" as in, return the style of heavy handed modding he'd dished out. then, ponies arrived. people started harassing moot until the point he not only created more mods, but also the janitor position. the hated jannies that would ruin every board, and invite the group that eventually claimed the site's destruction. he also created mlp as an excuse to ban ponies everywhere else. moot only cared about 4chan for the popularity it brought him, so when people at cons started yelling at him about ponies, well. there was going to be some action. but that's why my group never got along with the mlp board, because it was literally made to spite us.
>>384463i like this place too, and ninjaz did kind of invite us right before shtf at 4chan. i think poner is fine. i don't have any ill will towards the actual people of mlp. in fact one of my friends had been making inroads to unite us before everything died. i'll see what i can do.
>>384466That's nice you're creating new connections.
Sure, as you like. I'll stay around anyway and I will let Duchess know if you're doing something. Take care.
>>384476excellent. i don't actually have him on steam. now let's see if i can do a cross board link right:

ok there it is. great, i get to be a chan newfag again.
>>384314As above, so below.
>>384361Why would soyteens shut down their own board zoomer?
>>384638Uhh... A bird in the hand is worth two in the wings?
>>382842THE S(OYJ)ACK OF 4CHANTINOPLE
>>384457Fuck, I haven't heard that name since 2016 and everyone was still on 8chan, is Blueberry still around or is he ded?
>>384639>SoyteensDon't use their psyop term. they are tranny groomers.
>>384932i think blew died. i haven't seen him in forever.
