Six years after season 6, Occupied Equestria presents an alternative history where Chrysalis chose a different approach to her second attack on Equestria. The Changelings have conquered half of Equestria, while a former Equestrian colony - soured to Princess Twilight's notion of harmony with all creatures thank to their dealing with griffins - Invaded and took the other half. In Baltimare and the Equestrian Southeast, the magic of friendship has weakened, as Communists, Changeling infiltrators, Fascists, gangs, and corrupt creepy politicians threaten the city. This role play is based in large part upon the Equestria at War mod for Hearts of Iron 4, and uses D&d 3.5e mechanics.
Ash and Iron seem to want to head out from the abbey. Dark Star was having a conversation with the rescued foals after doing community service. Silver is having a surprisingly friendly conversation with Blue Skies about politics. Spark is babysitting and Brie is supposed to be doing the same. Onyx is sleeping.

FINALLY DONE!
Okay, after a busy week, I'm available now, mostly
>>90390Hope you feel better soon, m8.
>>90399I love how he has doom in his pants.
I have a feeling some guys call their dicks doom.Or doom guy. That was such a good ending for this session, gaiz!
I really hope no more ponies drop due to this poor timing.
>>90403It's a shame we haven't been playing much lately, but GM has been busy and so have I.
>>90405I know. It's mostly worry that eventually this will disappear if not enough interaction is done between the GM and their players.
>>90405>>90406I'm sure things will start moving again once the stars align and the Ash Crew makes their triumphant return.
>>90407Sister Ash has no other real urgent priorities after finding all of the foals, so she can be persuaded to do other things.
>>90407That's quite a long time in Internet time.
Or in normal time too, I believe.>>90408I'm not sure what to do after that myself tbh.
I was thinking of going back to Cauldron for some jobs.
I don't expect that it will exactly reunite with the other players.
Especially Ash. >>90409We need some kind of common goal/quest...
Dark Star is still at the orphanage
(carrying out his 72 hours of community service), so we can at least meet up with him when we get back, if his player shows up, that is..
>>90410As long as he can show off and get money, he'll be in to do anything.
Poor Blue Skies. She asked what the plan for lunch were... and never got a response
>5 threads of 2000+ replies
is it humanly possible to catch up?
>>90414I don't even think
we are fully caught up yet, and we're the ones playing.
>>90414Pretty sure, yeah.
There hasn't been a lot of actions so far.
My character, Iron, the moment he got here, did some crate lifting, followed by showing off by retrieving some guns from underwater after avoiding a falling crate. Then he intimidated the pony in charge there since he let it happen, which was working until a mare came up and defused the situation. After that he discovers he just intimidated a capo and promptly gets recruited into the Watergront Gang as hired muscle.
Enter Cauldron, a zebra. She's a nice zebra, brimming with both individualty and camaraderie for his other gang members. They both go extort some people. One shot Iron, but didn't dissuade him and they both kept going. There was one that tried to slash Iron with a sword but relented by breaking his will to fight. Finally, there was a bar fight, which was a highlight at the time.
That spanned 2 or 3 threads iirc.
You can manage.
If you want to, I can keep my explaining, although it doesn't look like it's going to be a Tl;Dr situation.
>>90414I mean, a lot of that is dice spam, meta talk about game mechanics that aren't relevant to any of the characters, ERP, and large paragraphs of arguing about geopolitical situations that don't immediately pertain to the story. So, probably
>>90414You don't have to catch up. Just enter whenever you want.
>>90420Don't worry. I'm here.
I can put a mask pretending to be Silver if you want to.
>>90423I'm always down for some rowdy D&D sessions, my dudes.
>>90428After a period of time - and surely it is enough time to do
whatever Silver intended before leaving, because she takes a while - she meets Silver carrying a large pack on her side
"Okay, I was able to requisition a couple masks that should be rated for carbon monoxide and hydrogen cyanide. I have a couple air packs as well, although these are limited in duration"
>>90428>>90427>MeatLike, I know this is supposed to be a double entendre, but I am genuinely uncertain if this means having her around as Silver engages in his carnivorous practices, or if it means another attempt to get her to have some sort of sexual act with him >>90429Apparently he had nothing else he intended to do, as from the looks of things he's just been occupying himself by looking out the window. "I imagine they have enough air in them for what I will need to do, as long as I do not dick around." He looks back at her from whatever he must have found so interesting. "How long will each pack last?"
'Tis a jest, but if it were serious, it would mean the latter. >>90431"Suffice it to say, not very long for archaeological work. You should hope that at least oxygen isn't that limited, or you can do things quickly. Maybe something better could be obtained from scuba divers or magical devices.... do you need anything else?"
>>90432"Hmm. I might have to at least partially clear quarry exit to get air flow going. Here is hoping it will be enough.
"So, I saw diner not too far from here we could have lunch at. It is maybe couple blocks away. What do you think?"
>>90433Spooky ghost posting from the kirin lady. >>90434She smiles
"We can go wherever you would like"
>>90433Standing by for some foal bartering.
Well, now that the /mlp/ game is over with and my computer doesn't have to shit itself anymore, I should be good.>>90435With a wave of his hoof and a smile of his own, Silver leads the way out of the building and towards the diner. "Then let us go!"
>>90437"And thus we go" she says, following Silver out the door and carrying a large amount of equipment in bags on her back
>>90438Silver looks back at her as they trot. "That looks heavy. Need help with it?"
>>90439"Certainly"
She hoofs over a pair of bags full of cylinders, thick gas masks, and filters
>>90440Silver silently hopes he can figure out how to put these on as he takes them off of Blue's hooves.
>>90441“So, where are you taking me?” She asks, smiling
>>90443You're just salty the Russian boi isn't taking you to a diner.>>90442He turns back to her to respond. "It is diner I saw on way here. Looks like good place. It will be nice to see what food there is like. It smelled good as I passed."
As Blue and Silver turn the next corner, the place comes into view. 'Rita's Diner', a relatively small establishment with lots of windows offering a view outside to the street or inside to the restaurant's patrons. From the looks of both the vehicles parked outside and the ponies inside who are eating, it looks like it's still moderately full from being near the end of the lunch rush. The smell coming off the place suggests mouthwatering food that is
maaaaaaaaaaybe just a little bit unhealthy for you.
>>90444She takes a look at the establishment, and ultimately gives a sort of "okay" shrug to it, as she follows Silver
"It looks nicer than the lunch room. Is this the sort of place you like?"
>>90445Fair enough.>>90446"I...do not think I have certain kind of place I like. Back when I lived near Manehattan I just cooked my own meals, and during War I mostly just ate canned food or military rations."
>>90447Presumably they enter the establishment, and find they are to seat themselves
She looks at him inquisitively
"So you lived near Manehattan?"
>>90448"I did, yes, from time when I settled down with Storm to when Great War ended. Though it was still about two hour trot to get to Manehattan from where we lived."
>>90449I guess presumably they seat themselves now?
A purple maned Unicorn Zony takes their orders for drinks, thus taking the prize for most-garish looking creature any one in the party has thus far encountered.
"So that's where you lived all those years. Tell me, what was that like?"
Did you know that kirin horns closely resemble the hair of Chinese women? www.youtube.com/watch?v=-gUZeeT9Hbw
>>90450I think I've seen that OC before.Indeed they do. After startling Silver a little and making him privately wonder why genetics works in such confusing ways, he just orders a water.
"I suppose it was like living in most places. Or near to, in this case. It was just cabin out by itself in rural country, with enough living space for all of our family. We would only travel into city itself if we needed food or supplies, or if there was odd job or contract that needed completed. Rain and Spec would fly and carry White to school in city every weekday. I think we visited Statue of Friendship maybe once during our time there? We mostly stuck to outskirts of city, as it already had everything we needed."
>>90452>Statue of FriendshipSo that's what that thing is called. Good thing to know, in case Manehattan has to be featuredBlue Skies orders... Tea, again. It's not
that unsual when you think of it. Maybe just breed a pony with purple maned unicorn grandparents with a zebra, and you get that creature. Blue Skies don't seem to notice the waiter much, and does not make eye contact when ordering her tea
She asks
"How old are your children, again?"
>>90453I'm fairly certain that's what it's named.Silver lets out a low whistle as has leans back in his seat. "By now? Rain is 39, while Spec and White are both 33."
>>90454She takes a mental note. She
had to have asked because of the obvious age difference between herself and Silver. She's substantially younger than his youngest child. She doesn't seem to mind, and she maintains that smile in speaking to Silver
"Are they fraternal twins?" she asks
>>9045568 and still going strong, that's Silver.>>90458"That they were. White come out only few minutes before Spec, so one could say she has distinction of being born first. They got along quite well, even if they shared only little bit of their personalities." A memory of the two siblings together as little foals crosses his mind. It's just a simple memory of the pair playing charades, but it's still a nice memory for him.
He looks over at Blue, curious a little, himself. "I do not think I ever heard, how old are you, exactly?"
>>90459>>90459"If only I had gotten along so well with my siblings..." She says. The memonry 'blinks.' He hasn't fully healed from the bite last night, at least not yet.
The zony comes by, and delivers the tea in a purple haze of glowing telekeniss magic. Blue Skies takes a small sip, and continues her smile at Silver
"I am twenty five... Twenty four." Whatever her exact age, she's been alive for a slightly shorter period of time that Storm Warning has been dead
>>90462Presumably, he also comes by with Silver's water, which he himself takes a drink of with a satisfied "Ahhh".
He seems only a little surprised at her response, as she's hinted at such before now. "Huh. You are quite young. Almost young enough to be my granddaughter...Селестия, what kind of family we would make for, huh?"
>>90465"Come again?" She asks, evidently not having understood Silver's question
>>90466I'm gonna have to view that later.>>90467"Ah, well...nevermind, it is not topic for such public discussion. I am just saying we would make for very 'odd' family, if we were."
>>90468She looks at him oddly. Blue Skies would make a disapointing daughter, if Silver had sought to take her as a sort of surrogate daughter. She seems kind of promiscuous, and she speaks with disrespect towards the princesses. Probably not the sort that Silver would want to have raised
"What do you want to order?" She asks
>>90469Silver doesn't look like he wants her to be anything like a daughter or granddaughter, at least to her. He certainly seems fine with keeping her as a friend/romantic interest. Either way, he takes a look at the menu in front of him, looking through its contents. "Hmm. I think I will go with hayburger. You?"
>>90470She looks down at the menu, and sort of frowns.
"I don't know, maybe a sandwich"
She looks out in the restaurant, perhaps to flag down the waiter
>>90472"If you do not mind my asking this, why is it you and your siblings did not get along?"
>>90474>>90474Her eyes wonder around
"My older brother never quite respected or trusted me. My younger siblings were a big nicer, but they didn't quite bond either. They thought I tried to hard to get my parent's attention"
>>90476"Well, that is odd." He leans forward, resting his forehooves on the table in front of him as he looks at Blue with a searching gaze. "You make it almost sound like you and your older brother were competing within your family."
>>90477“Well, I don’t I know if I would say it was ‘competing.’ If it was a competition for parental affection, I usually managed to take more, at least earlier. If it was a competition to take the family legacy, he definitely won”
>>90478"Just how many siblings did you have?"
>>90480"Hmm..." He takes another drink of his water. "So, why exactly was it, you think, your brother did not trust you? Did he just want this family legacy that he thought could not be shared?"
>>90482>>90482“I still say it was that head injury he suffered in a jousting accident. It left him not quite right. Anyways, he seemed to believe I had a different father, or something. He didn’t think I was quite suited to be a part of the family”
>>90484"It could be. I do not imagine one's brain could get damaged like that without something going wrong. But surely, you were not so different from rest of your family that anypony would think that, right?"
>>90485“Of course not. Maybe a bit less social, and not interested in weather control. Perhaps he was jealous. In any case, I do not trust using fighting as an instrument of play”
>>90486"I suppose I can not blame you."
>>90487“You did not have any half-siblings, did you?”
>>90488He shakes his head. "I was only child, for both of my parents."
>>90490The Zony returns to take their orders. Blue Skies wavers, and asks for a sandwich
>>90491Silver gives the zony his order for a hayburger, still slightly confused about the zony's genetics. He wonders if zebras make fun of zonies like this because of their garish color schemes.
>>90492Probably. The horn on its head is probably more embarrassing, and it simultaneously has zebra stripes and a pickle head
>>90492She starts the next part of the conversation
“So... you’re the child of an Earth Pony and a unicorn, you previously married a Pegasus, and had two Pegasus children, and you’re a unicorn?” She says kind of awkwardly
>>90495"Well, yes, I do believe you have story straight." He chuckles, not entirely sure where she is leading this, if anywhere. "Welcome to genetics."
>>90496Her expression suggests that, to her, something needs explanation
“And you’re a
unicorn?” She repeats
>>90498"As far as I know." He prods the bone protruding out of his head. "Is there something wrong with that?"
>>90500She moves a hoof out, and cautiously pokes the horn protruding from SIlver’s head. She seems more cautious in touching him here and now than she has in the past. She pokes it twice
>>90503His eyes roll up to look at her hoof with amusement. At the moment, he's not using his horn for magic, so to her it feels little more than a very thin covering of skin with peach fuzz-level fur covering a boney structure. It also feels like it could be sensitive to touch, and the bone feels like it's slightly harder than a pegasus's wing harder in terms of hardness, but without magic it just feels...almost underwhelming. "First time touching another pony's horn?"
>>90504 [Emotional Crit] >>90509>bone feels like it's slightly harder than a pegasus's wing harder in terms of hardnessWhat the actual fuck was I on when I typed this?
>>90509“No... I just find your family tree a bit strange”
She’s stopped poking it, and is now feeling it a bit more intensely
>>90515"Why? It is not like my parents were both Earth Ponies and I was born Unicorn because they had distant Unicorn ancestors."
Blue can find no other word to describe it as she feels something in the horn awaken. Silver gives her a smile as he lights up his horn in a blue aura. It envelops the part of her hoof touching the extremity in a tingly feeling, like she's touching a couch that's lousy with static. As a matter of fact, the fur of her hoof inside the aura sticks up like it's reacting to static electricity.
>>90519She starts to pull away, having evidently awoken something in the horn, but remains fixated on it. Then, she pets it again, almost like a fascinated cat
>>90522Well, her hoof hasn't yet melted or spontaneously caught fire, and the magic field has remained stable. Odds are, the static feeling is nothing but that. "You sure seem to enjoy it."
>>90523>>90521Like what the actual fuck are you talking about?
>>90524“They can be fun.” She pets it again. Then she says
“When I was stationed in Zaphia, I was briefly sent north to follow a task force of the security police involved in hunting members of the political class in the recently liberated Hellquill. There were great big piles of unicorn horns laying together. Several feet tall. Like children’s ice cream sprinkles.” She almost seems to fade out as she says this
>>90530A civil discussion about how Iron would cum on an underwater plant in the sea.
This is peak intellectual discussion. >>90530Silver grimaces from the macabre image. Apparently emotion can manipulate the magic field around unicorn horns, as his flares a little from indignation. "I have heard of such acts of barbarism, committed against unicorns in history, though I did not know it still goes on to this day. Supposedly unicorn horns are supposed to grant you luck. Sounds about as
pleasant as I imagined it." The field reduces back to how it was before her description. "I take it Zaphia and Hellquill are Griffon nations?"
>>90532As if in a trance, she replies
“There was nothing in history like it. Nothing like it.”
Then her trance stops, and can see emotion returning to her face. It’s that smile of hers, and it shows a deep inner satisfaction.
“Aestii is a pony nation, if perhaps a bit depopulated, with a few too many stranglers of the old empire. As for Zaphia... only half is griffin land”
>>90533"It sounds and looks as though those responsible were brought to justice. That is good, if that is truth." He folds the magic field over her foreleg, spreading the tingly feeling all throughout it. She can feel through his horn as his own internal magic flows through his horn like blood, and spreads over and partially through her extended limb. It's a foreign feeling to her own Pegasus magic, if she's ever actually felt it before. "On different note, I am not sure how many Unicorns there are in Nimbusia, but I can tell you that there are not very many in Severyana. There it is most Pegasi, followed closely by Earth Ponies."
>>90534“I wouldn’t speak so quickly... so many of them only needed to head west to Griefenhiem.”
She still seems strangely fascinated by the horn
“ I would ask what would happen if it were severed... but the Reformistin scientists left very good notes on that subject...”
Then she responds to his last statement
“Severyana is Pegasi? Then why did they turn to Communism?” She seems genuinely confused by this
>>90535"Because Earth Pony minority there is still significantly large, only trailing just behind Pegasi for majority, and because Steel Stallion was supposedly just that charismatic, if you believe stories about him. But yes, Pegasi have historically been majority race in Severyana, ever since days long ago, during early days of Three Pony Tribes when southern region was divided into city-states, and ponies in what is now Nova Griffonia were wandering nomads. I remember during one school trip, we saw flags of different cities during that time, and many of them used Pegasi as heraldic symbols. Then of course you had flag of when Severyana was united under Tsar, and his own state symbol: it was two-headed Pegasus, wearing shared crown to symbolize unification of settlements of south and nomads of north."
>>90536“Nomads of the North? Now who are they?”
>>90537"Pegasi, mostly. They were nomadic pony tribes, almost like subculture of Severyanans, in Nova Griffonia that guarded southern reaches from various other threatening tribes: Yaks, Bears, Penguins, even occasional Griffon migrations from Northern Griffonia. They were skilled, hardened warriors from fighting both numerous enemies and land itself, and knew how to live off of land. It came in useful, as it is not very good land to try to settle on. And above all, they were very defensive about their tribes, their lands, and their way of life."
>>90538She smiles, more warmly this time
“Just like the Pegasi to be protective of their lands. Maybe, in time, they too shall be liberated, as the eastern marches were”
>>90539"Maybe. But, let us not talk too much more of this. I do not want this conversation to end up like last one we had."
>>90540Her expression changes to a half smile, half frown. As if on cue, the zony arrives with Silver’s hamburger and Blue’s sandwich
>>90541He gives the zony a nod as he accepts the hayburger. "Thank you." With a lick of his lips, he dresses it with the condiments available at their table, and he digs in, taking a large bite out of it.
>>90542It’s a bit greasy, but otherwise decent. Blue Skies looks around her sandwich, inspecting it, with a sort of uncertain expression.
She sort of whispers the following to Silver:
“What did you do with those... changelings you said you had?”
>>90543As far as he's concerned, it's not bad for a lunch. He'll just need to work it off sometime soon. "Spark is watching them, until I get back."
>>90544"Which one is Spark again?" She asks
>>90547Silver nods. "He is good kid."
Sleep well! >>90549>not intending to be rudeWHO ARE YOU AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH IRON’S PLAYER
But yeah, that scene should be continued. I know the next lines of dialogue, I’ve just been too lazy to dig and find the posts
>>90565"Fire torpedo at target Skies!"
*launches semen torpedo*
>>90566"Captain, we've expended all the torpedoes!"
>>90567"Shit! The target is looking at us sternly! We need to withdraw! Fall back into base!"
>>90569Oh hello. Don't mind me. Just shooting a load on a Blue Skies replica at the void.
>>90242>>90242He laughs slightly
"I don't think you understand.
We are the only game in town. And a betrayal of one, is a betrayal of us all. The gang is family, and it does not take kindly to an attack on family. He'll think twice before lashing out over something as mundane as spanking, which any parent or even the nuns were going to do anyways."
>>90572https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=niByTamxaj8 >>90573Crap. This is not good.Iron feels like he's not lying to him. He's doesn't have many options left. He tries to open up a new venue.
"What do you expect Henhill to become? A mere grunt or a successor?"
>>90575Iron raises his eyebrows.
"Really? Do you not have somepony to create and raise a foal of your own?"
>>90574"I don't... I do not have a colt to groom into a successor, no"
>>90578Iron seems genuinely confused, somewhat losing focus on the foal negotiation.
"But you have stability and confidence. I can see your power from here. Why are you not swimming in mares right now?"
>>90579"'Swimming in mares' isn't exactly conducive to family life"
>>90580"You can always pick one to harbor your young. Why did not choose one and have a foal with her?"
>>90581"There have been... shall we say, difficulties in relationships'
>>90582Iron cocks his head.
"Of what kind? Have you been metaphorically backstabbed by too many mares to trust them or something?"
>>90583"That's... Not necessarily the issue, but this life isn't made for the typical family stallion. Or at least, it doesn't attract typical family stallions"
>>90584"Well, you do not have to have a typical family life in order to attract a mare into staying with you and raise a foal. You sound like you would protect her to the ends of the world, and your supposed monopoly on gang warfare means that there is little to no possible traitorous acts."
A poke of his chin.
"The one problem may be that she could be an undercover cop, which should not be too hard to find out since you seem experienced in your line of work and should find out without much issue."
A scratch on his side.
"I only suggest this due to the unreliability of Henhill as your successor. As a grunt it seems plausible, but he may not be able to fit on your role as a leader. Foals who you create will naturally fit any roll and will do it without much question since you have a far stronger authority over them than random colts picked off from an abbey, which you have to deal with a sleugh of mental problems that may resurface when the time for him to fit his roll will come."
>>90585"I... I don't..." He's embarrassed it seems at the moment
[1d20-2 = -7]>>90586"Is something wrong?" He cocks his head again.
For the sake of it, Iron tries to read what Willow Brooks' mind is going through.
Rolling sense motive
which is rather low. Ash please do this as well when you're able. >>90587Iron cannot discern much, except that it seems he finds Iron's description of him somewhat flattering
He continues
"Henhill here can make a fine operator. He is catching on quickly"
>>90588"I only saw him give you a wallet he pickpocketed it while making the target drunk. I do not think that is leader-worthy material yet."
>>90589He smiles
"Hence the apprenticeship"
>>90590"What did he learn to be considered leader-worthy so far?"
>>90590I was talking to Sister marey last time i posted right?
>>90591"You just saw a lesson on how to deal with gamblers who refuse to pay up. He's learning the tricks of the trade, slowly"
>>90592He was going to see her, but yes
>>90594Dark Star Could Relate to this colt.Dark Star continues his journey to find mother superior
>>90595And thus he finds her. She's in her office, evidently doing administrative work
>>90594Iron sighs.
"Are you sure you cannot simply woo a mare and have a foal of your own in order to create an even better successor than Henhill may prove to be?"
Keep in mind of what Henhill has now:
A functioning hierarchy
Steady employment
A family to always look after him
A father-figure who can provide full attention to raising him
Skills of self-reliance, self-defense, communication and leadership
What awaits him at the orphanage:
An impoverished nest of foals
Uncertain prospects for work
A cold society with no relatives outside the institution
Multiple adoptive mother-figures who are more concerned with younger foals
Lack of practical education to survive in the real world
Spark is utterly blue-pilled.
>>90597He tilts his head at Iron
"How long has your most stable relationship lasted, body guard?"
